The pod came shrieking down from the heavens, making a collision course towards the planet's surface. Though this time, Ochra would engage the landing procedures this time, slowing the pod down in its freefall. That, and he made sure he was landing somewhere away from anywhere people were living. No disrupting crops this time. The pod came down with a crash, partially embedding itself into the ground, but at least it didn't result in a massive crater, like pods tended to do when they crashed.
With a small hiss, the pod opened, and Ochra climbed out, letting out a small sigh as he stretched himself out. The new pod worked like a charm, and was a bit comfier compared to standard models, but that didn't change the fact you were stuck in a small space for days while you flew to another world. Perhaps in the future he should spring for a bigger ship, give him room to move around for long trips, maybe have a mini fridge, instead of having to go into a temporary stasis.
He took a look around the place. Namek. It was good to be back here, and this time under some better circumstances. His time on Earth had taught him one thing. He needed to keep his mind on things that mattered. Focusing on the growing power of a Super Saiyan inside of him wasn't helping anyone. He just needed to, well, live. So, he had decided to come here. From what he recalled, Oboe was having his own issues with power. Ochra thought that, well, he could help her out. Who knows, maybe he might find an answer in helping his friend. And at least here he can enjoy Namek without having to worry about potentially blowing it up.

Ikra’s PL: 100
Namek’s infernal three suns severely limited her windows into the world of light. So, Ikra found herself pointlessly staring into the sky. When she saw the familiar visage of a space pod streaking down out of the sky, her curiosity was piqued. A new visitor on this infernally bright world? It was better than trying to vainly grasp at glimpses of Riis. Traveling in darkness in the general direction of the space pod, Ikra soon spotted a couple of new windows into the realm of light. She hurried over to see just who had arrived. To her absolute delight, it was someone she knew! It was her little man! Ochra! Oh, goodie! She was so thrilled that he had survived his encounters on Arcose! Without a moment’s hesitation, Ikra leapt into his shadow and wrapped it around herself as she very abruptly and suddenly materialized as a shadow Ochra behind the man. She threw her arms around Ochra’s neck and squeezed lightly in a very happy hug before letting go and backing away. She gave him a wave as soon as he turned around and morphed her hand into letters. ‘Little man! Ochra! It’s so good to see you again! Hi! I was worried about you after that Fleetman burst my bubble so to speak! I couldn’t find you again after that. Are you doing well? Tee hee, you look like you are.’Ikra reached out and touched his arm, her touch slightly cold and ethereal. She felt up his biceps. Had he gotten new muscles? He certainly felt thicker and harder than before. What a hunk! Too bad that her heart belonged to another. It didn’t stop her desire to roll around on his abs. Tee hee! She was so bad.

Ochra had thought he was completely alone here. Granted, there was always the chance for a random explorer out here, but he hadn't really expected anyone to be out here. That was why the sudden prick at his senses caught him off guard, followed by suddenly feeling arms wrap around him, and a weight leaping onto his back. The bounty hunter let out a yelp of surprise, stumbling forward and spinning around when whoever it was got off of him. Blinking, he saw a familiar, dark shape behind him. Ochra blinked in surprise. "Oh, it's you!" He certainly hadn't expected her to be here. When they last met, it had been on Arcose, with her getting blasted by Kraktus. He quietly read the text she provided, seeing that she was in good spirits. "It's been a while indeed. I'm glad to see you're well. Good to see you were able to get off of Arcose. You really are a curious one, you know that?" And then she started feeling his arm up. Ochra couldn't help but blush lightly, thankfully hidden by his scarf. It was sort of strange, having your shadow turn into a female form and start feeling your muscles. Well, if she wanted to play it that way, Ochra could do the same. "Like what you've got there?" he said with a small chuckle. Though something told him nothing he said would fluster this rather forward shadow. Ikra

Despite the scarf, Ikra knew when a man was getting flustered. Especially one she had taken a liking to! She giggled at his comeback and bounced away a few steps. In the harsh light of Namek’s suns, it was a little harder to maintain her shadowy form. It certainly was a constant battle. Gosh, her little man was so adorable. With a little flick of her wrist, she replied to him in the usual way.
‘Curious, am I? Tee hee! Well, I’ll be even more curious once I finally get a body. Ugh, Riis really knows how to keep a lady waiting. It’s driving me crazy, Ochra! You know it’s so rude to keep a lady waiting, right? Well, you don’t dress as the gentlemanly type, but you did fight that Fleetman in my honor, didn’t you?’
It struck Ikra that she had never given Ochra her name. Had she? She couldn’t remember. Snuggling right back up to Ochra and nestling herself in the crook of his very, very muscular arm, she kissed his cheek. Not that it felt like much to him, but the sentiment was there.
‘That was sweet of you, my little man. Did I ever get a chance to tell you my name? I don’t remember. It’s Ikra.’

Ah, so this curious shadow was looking for a body, was she? He combed through his memory for anyone named Riis, by the name didn't ring any bells. Whoever he was, if he could make a body for her, he was either a skilled scientist, or quite strong with magic. And considering his new friend here, magic seemed to be the more logical answer. He couldn't help but chuckle a little when she pointed out his dress sense. Well, he was more sued to hunting criminals than hanging around high society. Then she mentioned the encounter on Arcose, and his fight with Kraktus. "I honestly hadn't expected you to take the hit like you did. I thank you for that. That overgrown squid is one of the worst beings in this universe." Seriously, he was nothing more than bravado and dirty tactics. Acted like he was a superior being, and then having to pull cheap tricks like that.
The shadow introduced herself as Ikra. Ochra only then realized he hadn't gotten her name back on Arcose. Though in her current state, occupying Ochra's shadow, she started nuzzling against him. Apart from the fact that Ochra wasn't used to this sort of treatment to begin with, it certainly didn't help that she currently looked like HIM. He gave a small, uncertain cough. "Ahem, so what brings you to Namek? Really, I should probably ask what you were doing on Arcose. Something tells me you're not normally the sort to be walking around wastelands."

‘Oh, you don’t have to thank me for that. I really don’t know what came over me. Damn that Fleetman, though. It certainly hurt. I have to cloak myself in shadow like this or else the light from your world burns me. Hm… I’m so tired of it though… it makes it hard. And I can’t look like myself when I interact! Just this shadowy doppelgänger. Oh, but listen to me whine.’ She waved away her complaints with a hand and gave Ochra some space when she heard his nervous chuckle. Adorable. Still, she was a little bothered by this form. He probably was as well. She thought about his question for a moment.
‘Well, I was keeping Riis company on Arcose! Not that he’s ever noticed that I exist… oh, little man, it’s so depressing… I came here to Namek with him as well. He’s doing some royal business here before heading home to Konats. Once we get there, I’m going to do my best to hint that he should summon me a body! You should visit too! I’ll be sure to be a gracious host with an actual body.’ Ikra teased lightly. ‘But what about you? Why are you on Namek? Just wandering about?’

Ah, so this Rhiis individual was a Konatsian. Though that did bring up a question as to why Konatsian royalty was doing on Arcose, especially around the time the Saiyan Kingdom was attacking the planet. But, well, that wasn't really important right now. She seemed to care a fair bit about this Rhiis character, and he seemed to be the one responsible for giving her a new body. Though it seems he was being a bit lax about that right now. "Have you tried pestering him in his shadow?" Ochra said, half joking, "You know, jump into his shadow and just pounce on him, keeping bugging him until he gives in and gives you a body." Ok, so it was a childish suggestion, but he got the impression Ikra was someone who would do that. And if Rhiis was supposed to give her a body a while back, perhaps he was due for some pestering. When she suggested he visit Konats, Ochra thought about it. The founder of his family had made numerous visits to Konats in the distant past. Perhaps he should check out the planet himself. "Sure, that sounds like an idea. Perhaps once I'm done here, I can visit the planet." Then came the question as to why he was here on Namek. "Oh, well, I came here to visit a friend of mine. Last I was here, he was needing some help with some issues he was having. I figured I'd come here to see him. Maybe offer some help." He wanted to leave out his own self issues right now. Who knows what this little shadow woman would do. Ikra

‘No, no, no, Ochra. I couldn’t possibly let Riis see me like this! What would he think? No, I’m just positively hideous. Who could even care for a shadow on the wall? You can’t even touch me. Not really. And likewise for myself. No, right now… I’m not good enough to show myself to him.’ Ikra grew equal parts horrified and upset at the suggestion. She hugged herself and melted away from the realm of light, giving Ochra’s shadow back to him. It was still stretched out in her shape, but she had retreated to just being a shadow to illustrate her point. No one could hold her like this. No one could really see her as she was. She was just a shadow trying to hold a candle to those in the world of light. She did perk up a little when he mentioned coming to Konats to visit her.
‘Ah, I would really like that. Friend of yours? Who might that be?’
Grateful for the change of topic, Ikra hurriedly turned it back on Ochra instead of herself. When she got lonely or sad, she preferred not to dwell on it long. She was just a shadow, after all. Her problems paled in comparison to those in the world of light. She definitely considered herself lesser. How could she not? She bathed in the warm glow of Riis, her shining star, just to feel like she mattered in the grand scheme of things. If he could find a use for her, then… then she was sure that she could at least live with that purpose held tightly in her heart. It would give her meaning. More meaning than just being a silent echo.

Ochra quirked an eyebrow at Ikra's reaction to his suggestion. Well, this was certainly something he hadn't expected. He didn't picture her as the bashful type. Plus, from what he saw of her silhouette, she didn't look that bad. But if that was the case, if she didn't let Rhiss see her at all, did Rhiss even know she existed? It would certainly make getting a body difficult if the man didn't even realize she needed one. But, she seemed rather, well, distressed about talking about that sort of thing. Ochra decided to drop the matter, at least for now. "Honestly, you're an intelligent being, and you're alive. You're not just some shadow on the wall." Well, he may as well say that at least. The girl could use some cheering up. The conversation then changed to Ochra's own business here. Well, he wasn't going to say too much. He doubted that Oboe would appreciate him telling other people about his issues. How do you explain to someone that your friend just fused with another, and is dealing with the consequences? "The guru of Namek," Ochra explained, "He's a close friend of mine. He's been going through some...issues of his own as of late. I figured I'd try my best to help him out. After all, he's always helped me in the past. It's only fair."Ikra

Ochra was sweet to say that she was more than just a shadow on the wall. But really, she wasn’t. She knew better. She had spent an eternity as the shadow on the wall, peering out at the world of light. Still, it really was a sweet sentiment. He was a lot more of a softie than his looks would let on. She smiled to herself. Shaking herself out of her thoughts, she listened when Ochra explained why he was here. What a coincidence! He was looking for Guru too.
‘You’re very sweet for a space biker, you know? A genuine sweetheart. What a different universe it would be if more people were like you,’ Ikra meant it too. She had seen so much awful in the universe. It was rare that she found someone like Ochra. Or Riis. ‘That’s a funny coincidence. I think Riis was here to find Guru as well. Nothing bad, don’t worry. I think it’s just a peace mission to thank the Namekians. Their Dragon Balls helped revive the Konatsians, you know.’
Hugging herself, Ikra wondered what Ochra actually thought of her. Riis didn’t know that she existed and she usually never maintained relationships with people as a shadow. For their sake and her own.

Ochra couldn't help but give a small chuckle at her words. Of all the things he had been described as, sweetheart was not one of them. At her comment at how the universe would be like with more people like him, he could only find himself nodding. "I hear that. It's why I do what I do. There's a lot of criminals out in the galaxy, and sometimes the authorities aren't enough. That's where I come in. Hunt them down and bring them in." he paused and gave a small sigh. "Though with how things are now, that's becoming harder and harder to do."When Ikra mentioned the wish that revived the Konatsians, that caught Ochra's attention. That wish had occured back when the Saiyan Kingdom was working to reclaim their homeworld. In fact, Saiyans such as Vocado, Kayen and Nashua, had been involved in that wish. "Well, as much as I hate to take the credit away from Oboe, if I recall correctly, it was actually a Konatsian named Typha who had made that wish, after teaming up with some saiyans to gather the dragon balls." He may as well tell her the facts about it all. In fact, if Ochra remembered correctly, Oboe wasn't even guru when the wish occured. Ikra

‘Oh, so less space biker and more bounty hunter. I could see it. You’ve definitely got the roguish charm of a bounty hunter. Well, maybe I would make just a few adjustments to your wardrobe but…’ Ikra formed a mini Ochra in the palm of her shadow hand on the ground. She just plucked his jacket and shirt right off of his little shadow self and giggled. That was probably a good pantomime of what she meant. Seemed like things weren’t easy in bounty hunter land. Hm. Well, there was certainly work for him with Riis if he wanted it. She wasn’t sure that it was a good time to bring that up though.
The topic shifted over to the Namekians. Mm. Maybe it wasn’t Oboe who made the wish at the time, but it was still his people that made it possible at all. She knew more or less that Typha had been the one to actually make the wish. How could she not? Especially with just how long she had been following them. She waved his correction off mildly.
‘I’m aware of how it happened, but were it not for Oboe’s people, there would have been no wishes to make, no? Hm. Do you know Prince Typha personally? I don’t think I remember seeing you around him. But enough about that, why are times so hard for your bounty hunting?’

Watching the gesture of Ikra removing his shirt, Ochra couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. Yeah, she certainly seemed like the type who appreciated a well toned physique, if her interactions with him earlier were anything to go by. "Eh, my jacket gets damaged enough during combat. But, still beats walking around shirtless all the time. After all, I've got to have some decency standards." It would be like asking her to walk around topless. Granted, she was currently a shadow, but judging from her figure, Ochra had the feeling that she would certainly attract attention if she did so. But Ochra was a gentleman. He wasn't going to ask her that. When the topic went back to the Namekians, Ochra gave a small shrug. "True. After all, the Namekians were the ones who created the dragon balls. But, I figured I'd give credit where credit is due." When she asked about his bounty hunting, Ochra let out a small sigh. "well, with all the power houses in the galaxy, trying to keep the peace has proven, well, difficult. Pretty hard to capture a criminal when they can easily overpower you, you know?" It was something that irritated him to no end. But he couldn't dwell on that now. He had more important things to occupy his time. Ikra

Ikra chuckled to herself at Ochra’s mention of decency. Really, he was a gentleman despite his rather rugged and rough appearance. It was an interesting contradiction. Not one she had been entirely prepared for when she had met him on Arcose. She had just wanted to have some fun back then. Funny how it had turned into something resembling an actual friendship. She really hadn’t intended to grow fond of anyone from the world of light except Riis. Hm. How odd.
She listened fairly attentively when he mentioned powerhouses around the galaxy. Was her little man not a powerhouse? She found that very hard to believe. Still, she supposed there were many sorts in the realm of light. Her world didn’t have conflict like the world of light did. For better or worse, it was fairly peaceful. A peaceful prison that she could only look out of. Freedom despite hardship was something that enticed all of her mind. It was something to be earned. Something worth having.
‘I wouldn’t know, actually. I can’t interact very well with the realm of light, and where I am, it’s… terribly boring. A prison of darkness and solitude.’
Ikra shrugged and relaxed her control over Ochra’s shadow. She was getting a little tired manipulating it so much in this harsh light. Resting lightly in his shadow, Ikra poured to herself and flicked the window into the world of light with just a hint of bitterness. Some of her kind died trying to go out there. Shadows were so fragile. So very fragile.

As Ikra described the world she had come from, Ochra couldn't help but feel bad for her. Sure, it was peaceful, but it seemed like a prison. And for all he knew, she hadn't done anything wrong. The sympathy was clear in her eyes. "Well...let's hope that Riis is able to get you a body soon." He wasn't sure how he could help her in that regard, though it seemed like he didn't even know she existed. "Though if you want my advice, try to reach out to him about it. I mean, he can't exactly help you if he doesn't know you're there." Perhaps if he helped her get over her own reservations, he could at least help her get on in her life. He was curious though how she would look with a flesh and blood body. Ikra
