Basil’s PL: 5,000
Basil wasn’t sure how he got here, but he knew that he was in trouble. The last thing he remembered he had been traveling with Lady Kiko, Bravo and Brand when something suddenly pulled him away. That something had been a very strange looking female demon. He remembered that she leaned down to kiss him and then nothing. When he woke up, he still had all his clothes on - thank Kiko - and he was alone. Sitting up, he glanced around nervously. This world was entirely alien to him. He didn’t see Kiko or the other anywhere. Well, Basil knew the first thing to do was to stay alive and find them. Hopping of the rock that he was laying on, Basil landed in something unpleasantly squishy. He looked down and saw what remained of the female demon from before. Oh. Basil felt his stomach twist up. Okay. Don’t look. Don’t throw up. Sidling past the body, Basil ran away. He didn’t want to find the thing that had killed that demon. Or maybe he did? Maybe he wasn’t alone. Maybe they were friendly? “Hello?!? Is anyone out there?!”

Thread PL: 36,000
Nis was having a fairly average day. Wake up, train with the other Tesslarmen, and kill some demons! He could feel himself slowly grow with each lesser being's life he extinguished. Sure, this place was a terrible cesspool of filthy demons, but it always gave Nis a good opportunity for training. He had just torn through a small group of demons like paper a moment ago and was taking a small breather now. " My my, if I was a couple of hundred years younger I could've slaughtered countless more of these things without breaking a sweat. Time certainly hasn't treated my bones well... Not that it matters of course! Once I get back to true fighting condition there won't be any more issues." Nis wished that that day would come sooner. His current form wasn't even close to the greatness of his base form! He knew he just had to get a little bit stronger and then he'd be there! Nis took the time to start a fire and start cooking demon meat. He hadn't eaten in quite a while and he was absolutely famished! And demon meat was always a tasty snack for a Tesslarman. It had a rather sharp flavor but it wasn't the worst thing he's had. While he was chowing down, he heard a shout from not too far away! Nis peeked his head over the rocks that dotted the asteroid he stood on, and saw that there was someone else there! It looked like a strong and weak Tesslarman. At least, that was the best way for Nis to describe it. He knew that it was another lesser being, but that was the only connection he could draw. Nis shouted out, " Hello over there! It seems like I missed one! Would you like some food, stranger? It's demon meat! I promise it won't bite! Quite delicious, if you ask an old man like me!" Nis was now just realizing that he definitely should've seen this lesser being earlier. Had he just popped into existence like that? Nis supposed it didn't matter all too much. What was important was that he was here now. And Nis felt like toying with the poor soul. Playing with his food was probably the best way to word it. Then another genius idea came to Nis's mind! Maybe the fool over there knew where they were! Maybe he could extract some information from him! " Eh, would you happen to know where we are, friend? I'm hopelessly lost!"

Someone responded to Basil’s call sooner than he thought. Peering over the ridge, Basil spotted what looked like a fairly ordinary man sitting by a fire. It was so completely normal looking that it was sort of unsettling. Closer inspection revealed that the man was covered in blood. Demon blood it seemed. Basil frowned. Why was someone being so hospitable in a place like this? It smelled of a trap. He didn’t really trust the invitation from this stranger. There was just something unsettling about the old man. When he asked his second question, Basil’s mind was made up. This guy was bad news. Terrible news even. While it was possible that he might have seen Lady Kiko, Basil guessed that he might have torn her apart if he had.
Shaking his head, Basil turned away and hopped down a cliff, putting himself out of sight of the old man. He had to make tracks quickly if he didn’t want to be hunted down like those demons. Flying low and using some of the craggy terrain as cover, Basil moved as fast as he could while still keeping an eye out for demons and the old man. He wasn’t sure how successful he was going to be, but he had to try to find the others by himself. This was a realm of monsters. What would happen to Kiko if he didn’t find her soon? He didn’t want to think about it.

Sanbu's PL: 74'000
"A place such as this, hmm.. Can there really be words attributed to it? Any description either under-represents the fact of the matter or manages to completely miss the point. Like a person of its own there truly isn't any concrete way of giving it fixed characteristics. Whether it be my eyes playing tricks on me or some other thing at play here. I do not believe that now's the time to be bold anyways, I know too much to say that I know anything at all." Sat along the cool and hard ground, there would Sanbu find himself. Lone and strung about on some manner of carpet, silk of some kind depicting a complicated scene of struggle between a melting blend of colors; namely amber, orange and red. The craftsmanship given to such a piece of textile simply could not be disregarded however there seemed to be a finer achievement of creativity laying right upon it. A teapot, crimson as the setting sun. Made through the hand of a complex artisan it would be clear to any observer that such a creation was rather ancient, the visible aspects of its form having long been unused in contemporary life. Cracked in numerous places was the pot, as the most particular gold sediment filled the imperfections to give it a fairly unique appearance. A bold and M seemed to be on the very face of the container, shimmering ever so slightly in face of the gloomy light of the Demon Realm, the symbol black as coal. Gentle steam happened to be rising from the top of Sanbu's cup as he started to pour himself a glass of what one might only manage to describe as some kind of maroon liquid. Its smell of shrubbery fierce and undying. With every sip that the Majin took there happened to be equally a look of disgust and withheld agony on his face. While not all that visible just yet, if one were observant enough they could see the slight discoloration of Sanbu's visage begin to take hold. His apricot hue gave way to a more careful shade of rose or cherry. Smoke started to emanate from his body as the Majin tried to the best of his abilities to stay still, motionless while a great pain started to join his company. Beads of sweat began to roll down the side of his face as a conflict gathered within him. The very activity of raising an arm to reach for his pipe grew to be an effort much too excruciating to even try at the moment. Lacking the will necessary to push past the pain and actually make use of his actively burning pipe. Tempting thought it was, Sanbu had come to make peace with the matter of his circumstances. Chuckling to himself ever so slightly while he mindlessly looked up at the sky above. "Ah yes, the rite we must all commit to. I do wonder if I've got the vitality necessary to survive the poison. I suppose there's only one way to find out."
