Chime's PL: 108k
The night was dark over the Fortuneteller's Desert, with not a cloud in sight. The stars glittered beautifully without any light pollution from nearby cities to compete with them, but they were overshadowed by the blood-red full moon hanging high in the sky. It was midnight, the perfect hour for all manner of spooky things, and on the sands below that's exactly what was happening.
A group of figures, unmistakably demons, was gathered around in the desert. Some big and bulky, some slender and lithe, some tiny and winged, there were all kinds, and they kept coming. Off to one side of the group was a portal, a jagged tear in reality that spilled forth red and purple light...and a steady stream of demons. From the looks of it, they weren't here on Earth for vacation. They were looking for trouble, which they'd quickly found.
The lone obstacle against them running wild on the Western Verge was a Namekian. He wasn't very tall, or muscular, and his robes were simple. Nothing about him was very impressive, but nevertheless, he was Guardian of Earth. Chime had assumed the Blood Moon might have an affect on places where the walls between worlds were thin, like this desert, and had flown out to keep an eye on it. This was...much more than he'd been anticipating. No individual demon was as powerful as he was, but they had numbers, and Chime didn't exactly have a plethora of attacks to choose from. Just a simple beam attack from his finger, basically the worst thing to fight a group with. The demons were effectively kicking him around and laughing while he shielded himself from their assault, but had no opening to counter-attack.
Across the sands, a final figure stepped out of the portal. A tall purple demon with a dark cape, and carrying a lantern with a violet flame flickering inside. They surveyed the group of demons present, then reached inside the lantern to snuff the flame between their fingers. The portal shut behind them, similarly extinguished.
"Alright, friends and fiends," The charismatic leader called to their gang of about two-dozen demons, "Finish up with that bug so we can get a move on. It's too dry out here for me, I'd like to get to a city. Maybe find somewhere with a pool."
The gang of demons shouted and jeered in response to their leader, and then all of them turned to Chime. They were done messing around now, they meant to end this. Chime was really regretting not bringing a friend along right now. Squeezing his eyes shut he focused his power inward and at the same time sent his thoughts out. A telepathic distress signal of sorts, aimed at the mind of anyone in the area.
"In a bit of a bind here! Could use some help, uh. Now!" The demons, of course, got the message too, and they just laughed. The leader sneered from their spot in the back, "How cute, he thinks someone's coming to the rescue."

There hadn't been near enough time for training for close to a years time, and even the few altercations Kuma found herself in her nothing compared to what she had found years ago. She was rusty, but she could feel something within her ready to burst out, and with a Blood Moon hanging over the Earth, she could feel her heart beating and her blood pumping. A stronger force over the universe as a whole seemed to feel and understanding the aching for battle in her heart, opening a portal to another world and letting demons pour forth upon the world.
Kuma couldn't sense energy nor did she have a means of reading it, but there was a force pulling her towards the creatures it seemed, causing her heart to beat faster the closer she got, until her eyes caught the light of what looked like a tear in the sky. Whatever manner of higher power caused this didn't matter as much as the amount of demons piling up below the portal, leaving her with an ever growing grin spreading across her face. Not far from the ones exiting the portal were some that looked to be gathered around and laughing, but as she flew closer she could see someone in the center of them all and would was going down dawned on her in an instant.
Her attention was pulled away by someone speaking, and the way he presented himself showed he was the leader of this misfit group, but she couldn't help looking back to the mess of attacking demons. It was only a matter of seconds before she heard a voice that felt as if it was in her own mind, but not similar to a thought, and she realized immediately it was coming from whoever was at the bottom of the dog pile. With a heavy sigh she floated above the group and the Namekian below and gave a bit of a stretch and bit her bottom lip, before calling out loudly. "Heads up you ugly morons!", before belly flopping towards them as if turning off her ability to fly and free falling with her arms and legs outstretched.

Tebooleh did not know exactly why he had decided to spend the night in the deserts that once housed his people. Perhaps he was hoping to run into a familiar face somewhere? Maybe it was just general nostalgia. Or... perhaps... some sort of self-pity. Either way, he was in the desert on the night that the Blood Moon rose. The moon seemed far closer than it normally was, dominating the sky above. The light that shined from it was also not the pure, cool blue-ish white that moonlight usually was. Instead, it was a bright, crimson color that colored the night air and the sand beneath Tebooleh's sandals. He didn't like it.
Then the tri-clops heard the voice. Well, he didn't quite hear it, he more felt it somewhere in the back of his head. A cry for help! He extended his senses, focusing specifically on the area within the desert. He touched on a large font of power, something grand and pure.... like a beacon of holy light in the darkness that was crushing down from the moon. He'd felt this power before, most often above the tower where Nashi lived. He had not, however, ever felt it surrounded by so much corruption and filth, dark ki. Even though the power was far above his own, Tebooleh had a feeling that whoever the power belonged to was the one calling for aid.
He leaped into the air, then summoned his power to fly as fast as he could towards the dark commotion...
A few moments later, he came upon a group of vicious, monstrous demons of various shapes and sizes. One of them, a tall, purple thing with a cape, appeared to be the leader. The other creatures all followed its command, and it held a strange, unlit lantern that it clutched tightly with clawed fingers. The other demons had surrounded a little green creature in robes, a Namekian, who was the source of the bright power that Tebooleh had sensed. The poor boy was getting kicked and thrown about by the monsters, only blocking... not fighting back. None of the vicious, evil energy that the demons radiated seemed to be stronger than the Namekian's, though they had numbers on their side. Quite a lot of numbers. A small army's worth of numbers.
Luckily, the Namekian's message had reached more than just Tebooleh. A tailed woman with spiky hair, a Saiyan, was belly-flopping down to smash into a crowd of demons right as he'd arrived. Some of the demons cried out with fear or alarm at the sudden attack, mostly those that got hit. A few just laughed and pointed at the pain of their allies. One of them, a big, bulky thing with wings and too many eyes and horns and teeth, was doing just that. Two of its maws guffawed, while a shrivelled arm that extended from its chest pointed at the demons caught in the belly-flop.
Tebooleh started with that one. Moving quickly, he flew from behind and SMASHED a hand between the creature's wings. Its laughter turned to a loud screech before a hand came down to the place where its lanky, lengthy neck met its distorted shoulders. It fell to the ground, silent after that. But the screech had alerted some of its fellows, who turned to Tebooleh. There was sadistic glee in their eyes, joy at a new plaything. Some of them felt quite strong.
The three eyed-man, in the pure-white thawb and keffiyeh, simply stared back. His brows furrowed downwards, his eyes were half-lidded. His lips were pulled into a tight frown, ringed by his goatee... He showed no fear as he began to "dance", shifting his body from stance to stance to stance as he waited for the monsters to make their next move. As his eyes caught sight of some of the more fearsome visages, he wished that he still had his old mask. Oh well, he would have to intimidate them with his prowess instead.

Thread PL: 35,000 | X-Forms: Makaio is both active AND boosted thanks to the Blood Moon for 175,000 PL!
In hindsight, after this event had passed, Kanto could firmly say that he picked a poor time to emerge from his prison. As it were in the moment, though, the fallen god had simply been confused. Years of dramatic build-up, and here he was. Stuck at the exit gate like a shopper in a grocery store line! Of course he could probably simply slice his way through the crowd of Demons, but he had manners unlike most of the other heathens he had lived with. A few had looked confused, as if he wasn't supposed to be there in the first place, but some rabble were not going to prevent him from coming to Earth. The Demon Realm had gotten dreary is his millennia of being stuck there, and if he was to reclaim his place as a Shinjin once more, he had to actually act! The whole 'bloody sky' thing was still going on, the event apparently called the 'blood moon' on Earth. Most likely because it was only the moon that was directly affected and not the entire... sky (if you could call it that) of the Demon Realm. "Hey, buddy, you sure you got the right exit portal-" One of the lesser Devils had started, the thrum of Kanto's energy blade quickly putting an end to the question. If he had been weaker or on par with the group, they would've no doubt killed him for messing with their plans... or something. Kanto still wasn't sure how Demons operated. Some seemed logical and nice but liked to fight, and others were pure evil. Simply confusing, if you asked him. "Pah, let him stay." Another piped in. "It's not often we get a chance to go to an actual planet and have some fun. Besides, he's strong enough to cause some chaos!"Chaos was not something he was liable to cause, but Kanto wanted to leave more than he wanted to argue the point, so he simply stood in line. Soon enough all the Demons and Devils had been funneled out into an open sandy environment, the temperature far colder than anything he was used to. Of course, Shinjin didn't really need to regulate their body temperatures - but simply sensing the fluctuation in the air was a skill that he possessed. Made it useful for knowing if a mortal would or would not cook or freeze.
Of course, once they had broken off to go and beat up some green person with a Power Level slightly above half his, the 'Shinjin' was disinterested in the whole debacle. It didn't mean he moved to leave immediately, and was observing for the time being, but Kanto wasn't actively participating nor stopping them. Why should he? Sigh. Finding civilization would be a harder task than initially predicted... if only Rin-go were here. The Demon was always good at navigation! At least, better compared to his skills.
The distress signal sent by green person seemed to have actually reached some people, a tailed female and three-eyed male both arriving upon the scene to immediately attack some of the gathered Demons. Due to his proximity, it wasn't unlikely that they may mistake him and his admittedly ghastly aura (curse the Blood Moon) for one of the assailants. A vision struck him - the sight of a stubby Demon bowling him over due to the tailed woman's entrance. Standing aside, said Demon flew past seconds later, missing the fallen god entirely. "You lot seem rather strong." He calmly noted, rolling his shoulders, not exactly worrying about how... weird the situation currently appeared.

As Chime stood there, calling out to whoever was nearby, a blast of dark energy flew towards him, striking him in the gut and sending him tumbling into the sand. The demon that fired it laughed and charged up another shot...but was distracted from launching it as a screech sounded out from the crowd. Many horned heads turned to look at the commotion: a robed fighter striking down one demon, while a saiyan leaped into the fray as if it was some hellish concert. The distraction bought Chime the moment he needed, and he smiled from his spot on the ground, despite his pain.
A flash of blue light and a wave of force that swept the sand back in a cloud, and the Namekian was on his feet again, glowing bright. A short, chunky demon with too many teeth for its mouth lunged at him, and Chime swung his arm around, materializing a baseball bat as he went to crack over his assailant's head. Another swing to the mid-section and that demon was out of the fight for now. He leaped back towards the robed man (with three eyes, that was a first, though he didn't have time to question it now) and the saiyan woman, his new impromptu allies. "Hey, thanks!" He called to them, "I wasn't sure anyone would show! I think I bit off more than I could chew!" And then he laughed, far harder than he should've, for how beat up he looked. He was remarkable cheerful for someone who'd been getting their green butt kicked only seconds before, "Go all-out, I've got your backs."
Chime scanned the crowd of angry demons converging on them, until his gaze landed on a curious figure. Their energy blended in with the rest of the hellish horde: dark and malignant. It was visually that the figure stood out, and not just because of the mask. Their stance wasn't aggressive like the rest of the group, they were simply...standing there. Chime narrowed his eyes at them and his antennae wiggled just a little as he sent them a telepathic message.
"If you're not here to fight us, then help, or get out of blasting range."

Mere moment before impact she was immediately regretting her decision, but this was one of multiple thousands of times the same thought crossed her mind. Much like all the times before, the moment she landed a solid impact on the one she was aiming at she couldn't keep the grin off her face, though there was a lingering feeling that this wasn't a great idea the moment she was pulling herself off of the small pile she had dove onto. It took a bit of rolling and jumping to get off of and away from the pile, but she managed to dash towards the small green guy she had less saved and more bought a bit of time for, and just stared down at him for a moment. Thankfully there was another that had joined the fray on their side, and she was glad to see someone else potentially as reckless as she was in this situation. "So that /was/ you in my head. That was weird.", looking back down towards the target of the demon beat down. "Thanks is good, but can't say I feel good about my decision yet. That's a lot of demons. Like, a LOT of demons." Kuma let out a rather loud belly laugh and gave the Namekian a hard nudge. "Yeah, I think we both did." Her eyes seemed to light up, and if it wasn't for the fact that it would be unnatural, her eyes seemed to full on twinkle with pure joy. "Go all-out I shall!" Unfortunately that was exactly what she did, before even having the chance to introduce herself to the small green fellow or the one with the three eyes she hadn't talked to just yet. Her first attack was running for the first demon she could grab a hold of, spinning him to face her, and head butting him as hard as she could. He went down like a sack of rocks, but Kuma fell back on her butt holding her head and giggling like a giddy child. It took her a moment to stand up as she turned back with a smile, her forehead minimally bleeding and motioning for the Namekian to join in. "You!", pointing over to Tebooleh, " - Come on three-eyes, grab someone and start punching!" Kuma was completely oblivious to any one demon in the crowd, running between a few and getting lost in the crowd outside of her joyous battle screams. When she found a demon that didn't go down she just kept moving to the next and punching, and again to the next and kicking, now and then managing to find one she could pick up and tossing them with a gleeful sound. It was very likely given her power compared to the others, she was out of her depth, but she had no way of knowing, and if she did she would likely have only been more reckless to make up for it. "This was such a bad idea!", she screamed out over the fighting, but in an oddly chipper tone that was a massive juxtaposition of her words. Tebooleh

Tebooleh somehow made his way through the crowd towards the Namekian. He wasn't exactly sure how, but he remembered wading and "dancing" his way through the crowd of demons. As he constantly shifted position and stance, he was attacked by some of the more confident creatures in the vast horde. A monster with many mouths and wings had flown at him with teeth gnashing, and tendrils whipping through the air. The tri-clops grabbed one of the tendrils as it flew towards him, then swung the ball of mouths and wings it was attached to around like some sort of wrecking ball through the army of monsters. Then he flung it down toward the sand, before leaping up... and landing directly on it. His sandal-clad feet crushed it and made it deflate like some sort of basketball, things crunched and squished... and the mouths and wings were still.
Then came a growl, a demon that looked much like the stereotypical red devil was lunging at him, laughing garishly as it prepared to wrap its hands around his throat. Much like with the mouth-thing's tentacle, Tebooleh grabbed the striking arm, then used the forward motion to flip his opponent onto the ground. Then he broke the demon's arm between his elbow and knee with a crack. He silenced its howl with a quick stomp on the neck. Then he turned to look at the party of imps charging him from within the crowd. Each one got a tight blast of energy from his eyes, with about the strength of a ki-bullet. All five of them were burned to a crisp by the attack.
Every movement that Tebooleh made, every step and kick and grapple and blast from his eyes, every little motion was in tune to some inner beat. It was a dance. A dance that he suddenly had three partners in. The little Namekian had managed to free himself from his fate of being kicked about like a soccer ball between demons, and the Saiyan woman had... rolled her way off of a pile of beaten demons towards the other two. For a brief moment, he was back-to-back with all three of them, as the demonic monsters surrounded the trio. He had a plan, he knew how to get the injured Namekian out of here and to some medical-
Aaaaaand the Saiyan ran off to headbutt a demon. Then she fell on her rear and giggled like a cross between a madwoman and a child in an amusement park.
"Your... forehead...", was all Tebooleh could say when he noticed that said forehead was bleeding. His eyes, previously half-lidded, opened wide for juuuust a moment before Kuma ran back into the fray.
That was bad. Ki functioned like armor when you summoned it outside your body, protecting the body from damage to the skin and bones. In order to actually get injured, some attack or body part had to overwhelm that armor with its own power. So that demon was either stronger than her, or of equal power. Or she'd let her defenses down for a brief moment.
Either way, scary. The tri-clops furrowed his brow again, and once more adopted his neutral face (which looked almost bored and pouty) before turning to the Namekian. Before any more demons closed in, he replied...
"Think nothing of it. Though you should see someone about your arm."
He took Kuma's advice and threw a punch into the face of a demon that had been leaning down to try and bite at the pair of them. It was tall... purple... spindly... with lots of spikes. And long, sharp snaggleteeth. It bit off its own tongue before falling to unconsciousness. What followed was a flurry of blows and kicks delivered towards the monsters. Some came at him from above, others below. Others still threw dark ki or magic at him to try and stop his advance. Those he just "blocked" with a quick whirlwind as he danced. He would spin and spin and spin until he'd summoned up a miniature cyclone of wind, which sucked up the ki bullets and dark beams, before redirecting them upwards harmlessly into the air. Then he would reply back with a quick beam from his eyes to sear the flesh of his attackers.
Finally, he came to a demon near his own power. The other creatures all parted for it, forming a circular ring whose edges jostled and moved in waves. It was big... buffed out... it had blue skin, long wings, grand horns decorated with gold and silver. It also had the face and maw of a dragon. Tebooleh grit his teeth, though he didn't let the upset to his brawling interrupt his dance. He kept shifting from stance to stance. At one point, he was standing tall with his arms in a position reminiscent of an ancient, wheeled and crossed design. At another, he was low with his fists held to the ground. At another, he had adopted the leopard kung-fu stance that he had once been corrected on by Nashi.
The dragon demon attacked first. He flapped his wings and infused some ki into the motion, forming a kiai wind to try and knock Tebooleh off balance. Then came the charging with claws aimed to slash and tear at Tebooleh's flesh. Tebooleh was indeed knocked off his feet, and he felt the claws scraped through his clothing, and his flesh. The creature only had three "fingers" to go with its thumb, so Tebooleh was left with three scratches running down his torso, from his right shoulder, to somewhere near his waist. Tebooleh growled, as he fell back. He sent his hands out behind him, planting the palms on the ground to stop his fall. Then he pushed against the ground, while pointing his legs straight towards the dragon, with his feet flat. This made for a good, powerful, pushing kick to knock the dragon backwards, while Tebooleh pushed himself hard enough to get back on his feet.
Just to buy himself more time, he sent forth another ki-bullet-strength beam from his eyes towards the blue dragon, who blocked with one of his wings. Tebooleh grunted. This demon... it would give him a good run for his money. However, the tri-clops hadn't yet unleashed all of his energy from within, preferring to conserve it for when he needed it. He needed it now.
Tebooleh activates his Tranquil Fury x3P PL goes from 56,000 to 168,000.
When the dragon removed his wings from his face and torso... he saw that Tebooleh was suddenly wrapped in a bright, white aura. His power had tripled. His face was hard. And he was "dancing" far faster than he had been just a moment before. What followed was not the even battle that the demon had been expecting. What followed was a surge of action and fast punches and kicks and grabs and crunches that left the dragon on the ground with two broken wings, a charred face, and a complete inability to move. The tri-clops panted... then grunted. That was close. There were other demons as powerful as the dragon around, but, hopefully, nothing as strong as he was with his full power released-
That was when he felt it. The overwhelming, dark power that was feasting off of the energy given by the moon. It was... it was stronger than he was at his full power, but only just! It was coming from one of the demons in the crowd. One that was wearing a mask. Standing still. Was it the true ring-leader? While the demon in the cape was just the guide? Whatever this thing was, it would easily overwhelm the Saiyan woman. And while the Namekian had just powered up to far above himself and the demon, said Namekian was facing constant assaults and was hurt. Tebooleh, however, was uninjured. And at his full power, he was perhaps able to match this creature.
Tebooleh charged through the crowd of lesser demons with lightning speed towards this strange, masked man. He hadn't "heard" Chime's telepathic message to Kanto, due to the message not being directed his way. Thus, he didn't hesitate to send a flurry of punches flying towards the fallen god. Left hook, right hook, uppercut, jab-jab-jab, a few leopard style punches were aimed at Kanto's ribs. Then he was spinning like a top with a leg out to kick, adjusting the angle ever-so-slightly on each spin so as to hit a different spot. He ended the spinning with another punch, this time a heavy blow aimed towards Kanto's face... As he was attacking, Tebooleh was also charging some ki at spots just in front of his two normal eyes. They were small dots of power... more concentrated than the energy he'd been sending out earlier.
After the last punch, and the end of his spinning, Tebooleh fired that energy in the form of two, brilliant, white beams. Right at Kanto's face. Or, rather, the mask covering it.
Tebooleh fires off his [A1] Solar Glare at Kanto for 33% of his PL! 33% of 168,000 equals 55,440 PL. KP -1 Current KP Count: 2/3

It gave Kanto pause when the person under attack had suddenly spiked in power, eclipsing his and the rest of the Demons present by a large margin. He tilted his head curiously, swiveling to stare at the Namekian. If he was capable of such power, why were these rabble giving him issue? Even at his current powered-up form, it'd be a near impossible battle to win against someone with triple his own energy. As soon as the duo had arrived and given reprieve, the situation turned from a deadly one to a game. Was that the goal all along, then? To test the Demon's might? It seemed a bit... roundabout to do it like this, but there was no other option available.
Well, besides one in which they were causing the green man issues, but he suddenly was able to call upon great power to fend them off. "Naruhodo..." The faux Demon muttered from beneath his mask, so enraptured with Chime that the deeds of the other two went temporarily ignored. He had been about to speak once more before the Namekian took the initiative, sending a psychic message straight to his mind. Taken slightly aback, but not surprised, Kanto would reply: "Worry not about hitting me with stray bolts. I'd have departed now if it hadn't been for this sudden display... forgive my curiosity, but I simply must stick around to learn more."
Telepathy wasn't exactly common, but he had experienced it before over his many, many years of living. He wasn't capable of opening a communicative link himself, but had learned that one needn't the skill to do so in order to reply to one already established. Chime's skill in doing so only made the fallen god more intrigued, determined to probe the Namekian with questions after the rest of the hostile Demons and Devils had been dispatched. It was then that a sudden burst of power caught his attention, masked man turning to see the three-eyed warrior from before blitzing a path straight towards him. "Oh, bother."
An unfortunate case of mistaken identity, mayhaps. He certainly hadn't done anything wrong! ...Though, standing in a crowd of hostile Demons with a high Power Level wasn't the smartest play if he wished to avoid getting attacked. Tebooleh's speed was enormous for the lesser Demons - hardly visible as the triclops approached Kanto. For the man's target, though, it was simply along the lines of a moderately fast run, giving him plenty of time to react. A translucent blade of Ki formed around his palm, other arm behind his back as Tebooleh started his assault.
Between a mix of near-miss dodges and blocks with his empowered hand, the two fighters seemed to be at a stalemate for the moment - Kanto not moving to directly harm the man and mostly acting on the defensive. He hadn't failed to notice the two spots of energy building up as they danced between each other's attacks, his suspicions growing. "You are well trained." He noted. "But it shall take more than a parlor trick if you wish to actually harm me. I have already seen through your attack." Suddenly the world melted away, fading to a black void as Kanto 'detatched' from his own body - stepping around it to watch as Tebooleh's pair of lasers impacted a reactionless image of himself, the energy causing the body to fly backwards.
Then, all of sudden, Kanto snapped back to himself - the Triclops' attack yet to have come. This time when the eye lasers come forth, he was prepared. Suddenly lurching forward, the Demon let the attack soar past him, energy passing close to the edge of his hood as he moved inwards to Tebooleh. Hoping to catch him off guard from the sudden dodge, Kanto attempted to deliver a sharp palm strike to the man's chest, sending him crashing backwards but otherwise leaving him unharmed. "You have more pressing matters to attend to, I'd say. Perhaps the openly hostile Demons, no?"

Chime laughed yet again at the saiyan's revelation, "Hah, yeah, that was me! Good trick, right?" Before he could say much more, she was off again, diving into the fray of demons. She turned with blood running down her forehead, and Chime couldn't help but wince, but she was grinning too, so it couldn't be that bad. That, or adrenaline was masking her concussion. Regardless, there was no time to heal now as she went right along swinging at every demon in reach.
The smell of burning hit his nose, and Chime turned, bat in hand, expecting some fiery attack...but it was the three-eyed man, frying a swathe of demons in front of him to a crisp. He didn't mean to stare, but stare he did. That guy was...intense. He shook himself out of it when the man actually spoke to him, though it took him a second to realize what he was talking about. He rubbed at his arm and offered a grin, "Ah, don't worry about that. If it gets really bad I can just grow a new one." he replied, casually, as if this was a normal response. When the triclops sped off again, towards the masked demon, Chime wasn't able to warn him, or see what became of that bout at all. He suddenly had his own problems.
A trio of imps, demons half Chime's size and flying around on bat-wings, swarmed him. They came at him from all angles, swooping in to bite a leg, then circling around to try for his shoulder, on and on. Namekian curses were muttered under his breath as he swung his bat at them, like it was a flyswatter and they oversized flies. He began to hover in the air as they fought, soon several feet over the heads of the thinning demon crowd. CRACK! One strike found an imp's skull. THWAP! Another struck in the gut. The third lunged for him in fury for his fallen brothers, but Chime brought up his free hand to shoot a beam of energy from his fingertip, straight through the imp's wing. It flew around helplessly in a circle on its one whole wing for a second, then plummeted to the ground, staring at the Namekian with hate all the way down.
"Well well...you're very brave now that your little friends are here, aren't you?"
The chilling voice was right in his ear, and Chime whirled around to see the ringleader demon floating behind him, clawed hand raised and coated in dark energy. The hand came down to strike, and Chime met it with his own, quickly conjuring a shield around his arm to block the attack. The attack struck the shield full on, and the force of it spiked Chime back down to the ground, straight into one of the demons the saiyan woman was fighting. It fell to the sands with Chime on top, and when it tried to get back up, he smacked it on the head with his bat for good measure.
Above them all, the head demon hovered with a smug smirk on their face, cape billowing in the breeze, and clawed hand held up for another attack. What caught Chime's attention, though, was the lantern: it was hung from the demon's belt, unlit. If he could get a hold of that, he could probably use his magic to open a portal of his own. Then, it'd just be a matter of shoving the demons back through. He glared up at the smug, violet demon, determined, and his antennae twitched again as he sent out another message to all three of his allies, the strange masked demon included.
"I have a plan! I just need fancy cape up there distracted!"

It had been too long since Kuma had thrown a real punch and even longer since someone threw a punch at her, so her excitement was on another level entirely. The group of demons around her were all over the spectrum in terms of strength, and a few that surpassed her own many times over, but not for a moment did she show any signs of carrying. By the time she was seen again she was being tossed in the air back towards where Chime had stood before, sliding to a stop near his feet and popping back up laughing, wiping her face and spitting blood. She was mostly oblivious to what the others were doing up to that point, and in mere moments she was back into the fray like someone unleashing a spinning top of giggling fists.
Her literal spinning top attack stopped only for a moment as an attack rang out over head, some of the other demons ducking as they were a bit taller compared to her small stature. The distraction worked out however as she immediately got in some quick kicks to bring them down her size, using one of them as a step as she jumped up and started to run along the heads of some of the demons to get a better look of what was going on. "Ooooooo!", she exclaimed with joyous glee as she now saw the target of the attack and the way he had managed to avoid it with ease. She had been distracted for a moment just standing on the shoulders of one of the demons who had grabbed her by the ankles as she disappeared into the group for a moment. It was only seconds before she was popping back up as she fly straight into the air with a demon holding onto her leg and began to spin similarly to before but in mid air, sending the demon flying off and smacking into the back of one that had been giving Chime the stink eye.
In mid spin she could hear the voice in her head once more asking for a distraction now, and before she had slowed down her spinning she began spinning back up even faster, blasting attacking from one hand to increased the momentum and direction, sending her spinning towards the demon. She was likely not match power wise, but if Chime wanted a distraction, she could give that at the very least, as she began to toss out blasts from both hands now spinning quickly towards the floating demon as red blasts flew out in every direction, her body one a collision course with the demon.

Tebooleh let out an "oof" as he was shoved back by the masked demon. He was pushed with enough force that he traveled through the mob of demons a good hundred feet or so before he stopped... His heels dug into the sand, leaving twin tracks leading to where his body wound up. He wasn't... hurt... but he was furious. This monster had dodged and blocked every single one of his attacks! With one hand! And then he had the gall to insult Tebooleh's attacks as cheap tricks and try to distract him with these lesser foes when he was clearly-
One of the demons now surrounding Tebooleh leapt at him while laughing maniacally, claws outstretched.
"DIIIIIIEEEE-! *augh*"
It was one of the weaklings. Maybe Kuma would have had trouble with it, maybe. But Tebooleh? He didn't even turn his head to look at it as he grabbed its neck and choked the little imp monster. Tebooleh's eyes never left the masked demon. Even as he threw the imp to the ground, and blasted it with a ki bullet. There was a flash, a bang, and a bit of smoke. Then the imp didn't get up again.
After that, Tebooleh surged forward, outright punching and kicking at any demons that got remotely close to being in his way. If this masked demon wanted to mock him, he was going to see the price that one would pay for doing so! Tebooleh reeled back a fist, ready to let it fly. Sure, he was telegraphing his attack, but he was moving at full speed. Even if the demon dodged, he would just stick out his foot and hit with the force of a kick or... or blast him... he was going to tear this smug jerk limb from-
He came to a very sudden stop less than a foot away from the masked demon. Why? He'd "heard" Chime's second telepathic message, calling for a distraction. A distraction against... that big demon with the cape. Who was strong enough to knock the more powerful Namekian around even when Chime was powered up. Unlike with the other demons, Tebooleh couldn't quite get a read on this thing's power level, so he wasn't sure whether he was one its level or not. What he did know, however, was that Kuma was probably going to be in a world of hurt if she charged the monster head on. Which she had. With no backup or trying to plan or techniques or anything. She was just blindly firing at the other demons while charging directly at the ringleader, without properly aiming at him. The tri-clops sighed...
He turned back to Kuma and narrowed his eyes, shooting a look that said this wasn't over. Then, hoping the masked demon wouldn't go for a cheap shot... he surged at the caped demon in the air. That purple fool was probably focused entirely on the Saiyan, preparing to swat her aside. So, hopefully... he wouldn't turn around before Tebooleh got him in a full-nelson lock to hold him still. The tri-clops' entire plan was to come from behind, right in the demon's blind spot. Then, before Kuma could get there, he would surge ahead at full speed and lock his arms up underneath the purple demon's own. He'd wrap them around, and then get his hands pressing on the back of the demon's head, locking them together and keeping the demon's arms held back. He wouldn't be able to block properly in a hold like that.
Nor would he be able to dodge a ki-bullet or a punch from the eager Saiyanness.

"How grisly." The masked Demon commented, tilting his head and folding his arms behind his back. It seemed he had upset the Earthling somehow, though Kanto couldn't quite put together why. The thin crowd of lesser Demons was quickly torn apart as the Triclops starting making his way back towards him with a concentrated fury behind his motions. Fighting again wasn't exactly preferable, but what else was there to do? Sigh. Perhaps the green one could help this foolish mortal see reason, likely after Kanto dispatched of him. In... a non-lethal way, that was. Murdering was not exactly a high priority on the newly freed fallen god's to-do list, hence his mostly defensive efforts against Tebooleh before.
The human came towards him with incredible speed, Kanto readying another bladed hand of Ki - body tensing as he prepared to block. Only, a glimpse of a vision told him no attack would truly come. As Tebooleh come within mere feet, Kanto made no move to defend himself as the Earthling stopped automatically, presumably due to the psychic message sent by the Namekian. How convenient! Kanto made no initial move to follow after Tebooleh as the man went to answer Chime's call, moving in position to restrain the abomination as to allow the Saiyan a free hit.
Shrugging, the prepped blade of Ki around Kanto's hand only grew larger and brighter as he poured more energy into the move, arm rearing back as he took aim. Slicing the air with a perfect chop, a thin wave of near-silent dark blue Ki followed afterward. Assuming the Saiyan continued on her crash course, soon after hitting the Demon she would find his own energy blade impacting directly above her head - and hopefully with enough force to bisect the Devil from the waist up. There. He did his part! Now three-eyes should leave him alone.

The Saiyan woman came at the demon lord as a flurry of red ki and chaos, but the demon only smirked. How foolish. They raised a clawed hand, still flaming from their last attack on the Namekian, and blocked each ki blast that came too close in a fizzle of fire. The reckless monkey didn't even seem to be aiming her attacks. All the demon had to do was stand there and wait for her to come to them, and then--
A sudden presence behind caught them off guard, and the demon turned their head just enough to catch a flash of white robes before Tebooleh was upon them. The field immediately began to struggle against the triclop's hold, kicking rapidly and reaching backward to claw at him with their flaming hand. A string of frustrated words were drawn out of the demon that none, except maybe Kanto, likely understood: curses and swears in a demonic tongue, punctuated with hisses and growls. It was cut off as the full weight of a Saiyan warrior barreled into the demon's stomach, like a living wrecking ball. They coughed out spittle from the force of the attack, but then the truly devastating blow came. The near-silence blade attack from Kanto sliced through the demon's torso, and this time what they coughed up was vile black blood. The ki-blade left a deep wound, but (maybe luckily, for Tebooleh behind them) didn't cut all the way through. The demon lord was left extremely wounded, but whole. With a roar of frustration, the demon flipped themself over mid-air to try and throw Tebooleh away. They heaved rapid, pained breaths, and there was a wild look in their eyes now. The smug composure of earlier was gone, this was a monster backed into the corner.
While all this had been going on, Chime made his move. He'd expended as little energy as possible to fly up behind the demon leader while they were getting pummeled and swiped the lantern from their belt. He gave a friendly grin to Tebooleh (Kuma seeming a bit preoccupied with her punching, and Kanto a bit far off) before zipping off back to the ground. There, he'd had a moment of doubt. He'd dabbled in demonic magics only slightly before, as a component of his Siphon Evil spell, but he'd never used it on its own before. But the air here was so thick with fiendish energy, surely all he'd have to do was pull, and then... There! A purple spark lit on the candle within, and with his palm pressed to the lantern glass, he focused. He thought of Sensoa, of Maple and Mumbo, of Tysco, of his own father... and a tear once again opened in reality, as if ripped by two giant invisible hands. The portal was open.
It was at this point that one of the few demon underlings left standing took notice, a particularly round and scaly one. "Oy, boss!" he shouted, "The lil' green fella got your-- WAAGH!"
Chime's free hand shot out, his arm extending like a rubber hose to grab the demon by the shirt, "NOPE!" He shouted, any attempt at subtlety now gone, "Time's up! Get off of my planet!" And his arm snapped back like elastic to chuck the demon through the portal, and it screamed all the way through. Chime shook his arm out (he didn't do that enough for it not to feel weird) and shouted up to his friends, not bothering with the telepathy at this point, "I've got it! Finish that one off and send the rest on home!"

There was no delusion of anything she was doing beating or taking down whatever this monster was, but they had been told to distract it not kill it. It seemed however her display had distracted more than one demon, and even a few of her unknown allies in the process. Her movements were slowly only slightly, as she was now spinning in mid air as her firing continued, hoping more than anything whatever was planned that it worked before that flaming hand took her out of the fight not long after it had started. The distraction had worked at least to an extent as one of the other fighters had taken the chance to attack, which in a manner of speaking was a further distraction for the Namekian, and a distraction from Kuma herself as she smacked right into the demon and started to laugh at the top of her lungs. Planting her feet she kicked off from the demon and began to blast where they had connected as she slowly backed away to put distance between herself and the two as she began to laugh with a giddy pleasure. She had barely moved out of the way of an attack she never saw coming that smacked into the creature and cut deep, giving Kuma a better target to aim her blasts. She unintentionally landed a few blasts onto Tebooleh before she stopped as the two went tumbling and she decided again to back off, as if those attacks hadn't stopped this thing then hand to hand wasn't the best idea for her. "Sorry 'bout that!", she called out towards Tebooleh. Her head turned as she caught the Namekian out of the corner of her eye and thought she saw him grab something, but with Tebooleh no longer in the line of fire she started to blast the demon again, aiming for his wounds and continuing to fly backwards as she did. There was a strange commotion however out of side opposite of where the Namekian had left, and for a moment she stopped firing to turn and look, seeing there was a massive portal being reopened near where it had closed before. "Oh come on!", she screamed out. In her mind she was waiting for another flood of demons to come rushing out as she didn't realize why the portal had opened, and while they had done an admirable job stopping them so far, they didn't have infinite stamina to keep fighting at the pace she was going at least. Her head shot around again, this time towards the yelling Namekian with a nod and a wide grin. "Got it!" Her arms stretched out over her head as a ball of red energy the size of her body formed as both her hands pushed on either side of it, causing it to shrink down quickly. In a matter of moments she had it between her hands the size of her head, then finally a ball of energy the size of a baseball floating inches above her palm. "Hey ugly, catch!", pulling her arm back and tossing it as fast as she could manage right at the still fresh wound left by the attacker out of sight previously. Tebooleh[MA3] Condensed Power Ball: No bigger than a baseball in size and much stronger. Practiced control and focus shrank the attack and increased its power considerably, condensing the energy into a hand held size. 100%

Tebooleh didn't let up on his grip as the demon struggled against him. Due to their positioning, and the force he was putting on the demon's arms, there wasn't much that the creature's flaming claws could scratch. It got him on his forearm and bicep... but the burning and stinging were only skin-deep. Even if his thawb started to burn and smoulder, he could replace it. What mattered at that moment was holding the creature still. If the fiend managed to turn his head about enough to see the eyes of the man holding him, he would have seen that same look Chime had believed intense only a moment ago.
The tri-clops held on through the headbutt... and then he felt a surge of power heading right for him. From the demonic monster. Was the thing in the mask willing to kill one of his own to cut through to Tebooleh?! Apparently not, as the blade only cut into the fiend's torso. Tebooleh was left unscathed. He saw Chime appear right after the blade, and gave him a nod as the Namekian stole the lantern. He had no idea what it was, but he figured that the mystical alien probably did. And that he knew what to do with it. Right after Chime made off with his ill-gotten gain, Tebooleh was being spun about as the demon struggled and circled. His grip loosened, and he and tossed off by a sudden sharp buck and throw. He was also peppered by little ki blasts as he was tussling and struggling to hold on. It was alright, he barely felt them.
He felt the impact of his body on the ground far more. He was sent rocketing down by the wounded demon's strength, and before he could recover and use his flight to right himself, he hit the ground with a loud *BOOOOOOOOOOOMPH*. The force behind of the demon's hurried throw pushed him down below the surface of the earth, making a crater. It also sent dust, debris, and minor demons up in the air, and created a small shockwave. Despite the force, Tebooleh's aura held. He wasn't injured beyond some bruises and scrapes... So he stood, slowly. He looked around him, then grinned as he saw Chime open a portal. A dark, furious fissure like the one that had brought the demons to their world. He saw now.
To the Namekian's order, he gave a nod, then he rushed through the crowd of monsters. Some of the creatures were attempting to escape but... Tebooleh could get them later. They were slow. He was fast. And he had bigger fish to fry. He came to a stop next to the Saiyaness right after she threw her energy ball. He waited to watch if it hit while saying to her,
"Nice technique. Now let me show you mine..."
Regardless of whether the energy ball hit or not, he figured he would finish off the demon with his own attack. He braced his body, locked his eyes on the monster in the air... then... he began charging ki at specific points in front of all three of his eyes. And in front of his open mouth. Tiny, brilliant orbs of ki that slowly grew with more and more until finally, he released the energy into four brilliant beams. The four spiraled and danced around each other as they shot towards the demon, before fusing into a single line of energy aimed for the injured demon. With the goal of turning him to dust. And adding insult to the injury gained from the concentrated blast he'd just taken to the chest wound.
