Cress' eyes shot open, his pod waking him from his slumber as it neared Earth. He gazed out of his tinted space-pod window at the world he desired to return to in pursuit of strength. "Finally! I'm back!" Clearly excited, the saiyan revealed a smirk as he crossed his arms. The space-pod quickly pierced each of Earth's atmospheric layers, fire coating the pod during the descent. These things were designed to handle even tougher situations than this, though. In the blink of an eye, the pod punched a hole in a cloud and crashed to the ground, slamming into an island somewhere in the Southern Tropics of Earth.
"Here we go." Cress hoped that someone had noticed the landing and decided to come check it out. He looked down at the controls and pressed the open button. The door pushed itself open and gave him room to get out. Pushing against the sides of his seat, he got up at an angle and stepped out of the space-pod. Standing in the crater, he used his remote to shut the space-pod's door. With that secured for the time being, he traveled up the side of the crater that formed after impact and stood at its rim, gazing out from atop the hill that towered over the islands forest line.
Now he'd wait for a moment to see if any curious individuals would come and see what was causing all the ruckus.

Rain or shine, hell or highwater, there was little in the way of environmental conditions that could impede the cloaked Demon, his former stint as a Shinjin lending to his elevated state of being. He needed not food, nor shelter, nor company - all things which mortals must have were but paltry amusements to him. ...However, that wasn't to say that he didn't enjoy partaking in amusements either. It was part of what helped break up his monotonous existence on a day-to-day basis. Even Rin-go's scheming or abrasive behavior wasn't always enough to actually catch the fallen god's attention. The concept of a beach wasn't necessarily new to him, but a non-hostile and lightly colored one was.
The Demon Realm sand was purplish-black and coarse enough to cause immediate irritation, the liquid a blood red which has the viscosity of maple syrup. Here, the sand was a near white fine dust, dispersing underfoot with nearly no effort. The 'water' (the more common liquid across the mortal planets) was a brilliant sparkling blue, stretching for as far as Kanto could see from the small island he had nestled himself on. It was... relaxing, almost. Which made the sudden scream of a spacecraft ripping apart air molecules all the more annoying.
A quick glance up revealed that a small ship, possibly a one-manned endeavor, was heading in his direction. Whether this was targeted from someone sensing his Power Level or simply random chance, Kanto was on guard nevertheless. Moments later, it crashed - landing somewhere in the forest a bit of a ways in from the beach the Demon was at. Sighing, he let himself float into the air as he made his way towards the site, curiosity driving him towards this newcomer and what could possible happen.

Cress spotted a small figure rising above the tree line out by the edge of the island. He unraveled his arms and let them gently fall to his sides, he liked that he wasn’t kept waiting for very long. As the figure drew closer Cress took note of their appearance. A masked man- most likely someone who was trying to conceal their identity for whatever reason. The outfit wore was foreign to him, little did he know this was the uniform of the legendary Shinjin people, the overseers of the living and non-living realms.
Cress waited until the person was within good talking distance so he didn’t have to project his voice too much. “I see someone decided to come a greet me now that I’m back.” He smirked at the demon.
