Nashi breathed, but this was nothing out of the ordinary. Sure, maybe soon thereafter he’d stop breathing, but Nashi was here to focus on the present. And what was in the present, you ask? Well, Nashi had woken up and was going about his usual routine: he’d punch some things real good, he’d fly around Earth for a while to see if there were any problems, check in with his fellow Deific Pals™, practice with the Power Pole, maybe sneak in some totes rad gaming and tend to his Senzu Bonsai. It was coming along nicely but, more recently, in the last few weeks, it seemed to have been stagnating. Nashi had no idea why, but it probably rhymed with ‘go toasts view goo booniversity bessays’.
Nashi looked down at the senzu bonsai, his face still and concerned. He knew it wasn’t all that great a concern, of course he knew that, but Nashi was big on metaphors when they were dumb enough for him to understand them and the stagnation of the senzu bonsai probably meant, like, bad stuff, right? In any case, he needed something to prove he’d been treating the plant right, and so had taken a senzu bean from the plant and nabbed it away in his blue sash— the one that used to be his shirt, before his azure awakening of voice in heaven.
The senzu bonsai sat in a pot which, due to Chime’s materialisation magicks, looked precisely like the top of his Tower. Not coincidentally, that was precisely where they were: the plant sat in the room’s middle. There were fridges, cupboards, a television and all sorts of whatnots and doodads— frankly, it was all a bit standard, suburban even, something greatly at odds with where they sat: in a bulbous abode atop a Tower, a ceramic-clad ancient tree many dozens of kilometres tall. Here, the trees were distant and worldly features indistinguishable. But in the same vein, the Lookout (which was as far above the Tower as the Tower was the Earth) was an perceptibly-invisible realm Nashi only knew existed by virtue of having been there many many times.
Nashi would continue to tend to the senzu bonsai, unaware of what the coming day would hold. Not worrying about the potential thievery of his Dragon Ball he kept it as a decoration, half-buried, in his bonsai’s pot. It smelt of high-potency fertiliser.

"So high... Probably some rich loaf riding the atmosphere."
Vocado could feel a tension in the air as he stowed his radar away. A tingle on his tongue, and another running down his back. He hadn't felt this since his fight with Kayen. The thick air thinned out some when he broke through the clouds, but there was still a heaviness to it all. Whoever or whatever owned this ball was far beyond his expectation, surely.
It'd be a battle of wills, then. Might made right, but was his might enough? His Super Saiyan state had been perfected, but he'd never gotten a chance to really push himself since. If it failed him when he needed it most, he might not get to live long enough for his ego to be shattered yet again.
His radar blared at him, and his train of thought derailed. There, in the distance, was his target. It was no airship.
A massive, mystical platform floated high above the clouds, so high it almost felt like he could touch the sun just by reaching out. There, his radar said, was not where the Dragon Ball lied.
It was below that his target sat. Back beneath the clouds and into the human world once more.
There, he came across a long pillar-like structure, topped by a domed platform. It was almost more impressive than the bowl above them. Landing softly in the center of the room, his senses heightened, and so too did his worry. He sensed an incredible Battle Point below, one his scouter easily corroborated. It was a still energy, meaning surely that it was far from their maximum. Would Vocado be able to compete?
He couldn't doubt himself now. There was too much at stake. He'd thrown away his own destiny for someone else's. It was time to make good on what wind promised.
With a careful eye, he examined the room. It was near-bare, save for a strange structure in the center of the room, and a set of stairs attached to the outer wall of the dome, which seemed to lead underneath. Just how far down did it lead?
"Let's make this quick," he shouted, touching a finger to his neck as he did. Ki flowed through his index, amplifying his voice near-enough to rumble the Tower. "I'm here for the Dragon Ball. Give it up and we won't have to come to blows."
Nobody who wanted to wish on a mystical set of orbs was rational, though. He knew that in his heart. His words were as empty as his shirt sleeve would have been, had he any. His potential foe probably expected as much. If a wish was to be made, blood would be spilled. It was the way of the world.
Pulling one foot back, he took a cautious step away from the staircase leading down into the depths of a holy place, tensing his muscles just in case...

There was a loud noise. Not expecting a loud noise, Nashi looked back to see what the loud noise had come from. The noise had come from some dude. He had hair, and legs, and was generally person-shaped. What’s up with this guy?
Nashi looked back at the Saiyan person. He looked like he had some weird armour on— like Nashi’s, except lamer in every regard. It looked kinda space-y, too, especially that one over-armoured arm. Was this one of those angry tailed space humans that could scream their hair into imitating bananas?
”Nah.”
Nashi picked up the Dragon Ball and and wiped it against the bulb-shaped pot to remove some of the last bits of fertiliser on it. He failed; there was still just a smidgeon left. He put it in one of the pockets in his sash, the one where he kept the Dragon Radar, and switched one item for the other. Flicking a switch upon the device, he saw… huh, neat. Not especially concerned by the upstanding gentlemen with two Dragon Balls before him, Nashi once again pocketed the device.
”Quieten it down.” This was one of the many situations Nashi found himself in in which it would have been very useful to be able to sense energy. ”It’s only…” Nashi was also a very poor judge of time. ”… some time of the day.”

Vocado clicked his tongue at Nashi. The strange cat-like boy had shown himself quite quickly, denying the Saiyan’s request with haste. He was the one wielding such incredible power. Would Vocado need to go full throttle just to keep up? Maybe he could hold off on playing all of his cards just yet. There was always the chance words would work too, he supposed.
”It’s noon,” Vocado replied, rolling his eyes as he did. ”Good a time as any to bruise some skin.”
Giving the earthling a once-over, he was a bit annoyed to see how relaxed the boy took this whole situation. He couldn’t be that confident in his skill, could he? Maybe it was a bluff. Either way, he needed to be careful. The staff on the boy’s back meant he probably liked to keep things at range. Vocado would make sure to snatch away that luxury if they came to blows.
”Any reason in particular you aren’t interested in forking over the ball? You’ve only got the one; it’s no use to you without a lot of searching. Wouldn’t it be easier for everyone if you just gave it up?”
He balled his hands into fists, preparing for the expected answer.

Whoever this was, he wasn’t going to give up. And apparently it was noon, too? Eh, that didn’t matter. Nashi wasn’t even 100% sure on what ‘noon’ meant. Was it, like, the pm? Was it midday? If so, why not just call it midday? Nashi found that the people who actually used the word ‘noon’ also tended to be the people who used the word ‘brunch’.
Nashi wasn’t going to give the Dragon Ball away so easily and so, given this gent’s general disposition, an altercation was seemingly increasingly inevitable. ”My name is Nashi,” introduced the hero, his hands moving to his weapon’s sheath, ”I am the Senbyō.” Slowly, he removed the Power Pole from its sheath. ”My duties include training the greatest warriors of Earth, growing senzu beans and making sure only the worthy get to see the Kami.” He held the Power Pole in both hands. It was so plain in appearance, and yet there was so much to it. With it in his hands, range was no object. ”Included in that,” dramatically began the godling, ”is making sure only the worthy get to wish upon his grandest creation.”
What did Nashi want to wish for? Yogu had passed on, there was no sense in trying to bring him back. To wish for power or immortality was selfish. To wish for a Flying Nimbus… OK, that was actually a pretty great idea. But, no, that was not his purpose with it. ”The wish requires seven Dragon Balls. Not six, not eight; seven.” There was never an eighth Dragon Ball but shut up it sounded cool in his head. ”With me having mine with me I can ensure only a good wish, a pure wish, comes to pass.” Nashi’s blue eyes would gaze deep into Vocado’s eyes and beyond. This clear voice was a boon of his throat chakra— usually, he was just too childish to really use it. Perhaps he was just in a patient mood: patient less so in actually being patient and more so in carrying the general aesthetic of patience.
”And you aren't of pure intent at all, are you?”

So he was indeed no ordinary warrior. Nashi’s introduction and speech oozed heroism; the kind only heard of in ancient legends told by monks and grandparents. His intent was to guard the wishes, then? A noble job, he supposed, but was he the right man for the job? The next few minutes would decide for him.
Vocado chuckled, his stance lowering as the Power Pole found its way into Nashi’s hands. ”A fighter god? Pah! They’re giving out celestial titles like its candy now, aren’t they?”
His opponent had a leg up in a few ways when it came to range. Not only was that staff an issue, but so too was the twin tails. He wasn’t sure if they could be used to fight, but the mere possibility put the Saiyan on edge. That, combined with the power gap between them, probably meant he’d need to keep on the offensive. He didn’t want to show off his full power just yet.
Nashi stared through him, but the darkness stared right back. Vocado would need to embrace the savagery of his heritage to succeed here, and he would be glad to do so. The fear of being too vicious was what weakened him on Namek. The fear of letting a villain take the crown was what failed him on Vegeta. Now though? He was done with those illusions. Zucceta wouldn’t have fallen so far. He needed to live up to her legacy.
”I could spin a thousand tales, and I’m sure a thousand times you’d call my bluff.” Vocado flicked his metallic wrist, and a sizzling blade of violet energy burned to life. It thrummed with a soulless hunger— a perfect dark mirror to Nashi’s own Ki. ”I’ll tell you this: My wish would be used to ruin worlds. Not Earth... Maybe not at first anyway... But other vile creatures. The Arcosian people are a plague, and I intend to clean them up all by my lonesome. Sound noble enough?”
Was it even about the Arcosians anymore? He wasn’t sure. They were merely a stepping stone. The great world-eating tree wouldn’t stop at one planet. Nor a dozen. Would he want to stop?
”So then, Nashi the Fighter God, why don’t we separate the wheat from the chaff? Show me what earned you the title. Let our wills decide who’s intentions are purest!”

”I may be an entity of great patience,” began Nashi, the sheer untruthfulness of such a statement not yet having caught up with him, ”but it would not be wise to test it.”
Nashi didn’t feel the need to defend his title, or his being given it. After all, he wasn’t given it— he was simply the Senbyō, as much as he was Nashi. He wasn’t really sure where Vocado got ‘fighter god’ from but, well, it wasn’t exactly inaccurate, even if Nashi was far more fighter than god.
This guy hadn’t left yet. That proooooobably meant that he could sense energy, which meant that Nashi wasn’t massively stronger than the guy like he tended to be. The idea hadn’t fully formed in Nashi’s head until then, but this was going to be a fight. The only other way was to give up the Dragon Ball, which was unspeakable to the most unspeakable degree of unspeakabilities.
A blade of ki formed from Vocado’s shinier hand as his villainy was made clear to see. Slowly, in response, Nashi’s aura would begin to release fully. ”Hmm. Right.” Nashi entered a martial stance, the senzu bonsai behind him. ”Not gonna happen.”
Right. This is the part where we fight. The part where I win, in a really cool way!
”On your left!”
This was a deception, of course. For if your foe says ‘on your left’, clearly the last thing they’ll do is attack you from your left. But Nashi knew this and was deceiving Vocado in that he was actually going for the left of the neck with a strike of the Power Pole.

The fight began as quickly as expected. Nashi let loose a quick and efficient thwack with his pole, which the Saiyan was thankful to notice. He lowered his stance, raising his Ki sword to match the staff. Though the earthlings attack was simple, it had some intense power behind it. Vocado was pushed from the force, skidding away from the impact, grunting as he did.
It was lucky that wasn’t a direct blow.
Righting himself before hitting the wall, Vocado dashed forward. He needed to keep the fight fast. Letting Nashi strategize was a bad idea in every sense. He already had the power advantage, and vocado could tell that he was equally outclassed in speed. Blocking that staff was luck alone.
Spinning like a top, Vocado advanced, attempting to circle Nashi with his pirouette and land a slash at the back of his thigh. It wouldn’t be a particularly powerful blow, but it was more to annoy than anything else. A thousand cuts could still fell a titan.
Successful or not, the Saiyan would pull away, flipping backwards and letting loose an energy bullet from the bottom of his shoe as he kicked himself back to a standing position.

Vocado managed to block the attack, but it wasn’t as easy as Nashi thought it might have been. And, no, that wasn’t because of Nashi’s brilliant deception: instead, it seemed like Nashi’s power was far greater than Vocado’s own. This guy could sense energy, right? It was either the case that he couldn’t, or he could and knew something Nashi didn’t. But that probably wasn’t true either, given that Nashi was the clevererest there was.
But then Vocado made one crucial mistake: he underestimated the ability of a cat to not be touched. Nashi moved faster than Vocado could and was waiting for the warrior during and after his pirouette. he blocked the slash with a quick motion of his Power Pole and, a few moments after, struck Vocado’s energy bullet as if he were playing baseball or cricket straight out the window where it would dissipate harmlessly.
”Well, I’m bored already.” He wasn’t actually bored. He mostly just wanted more of a challenge, even if it meant taunting it out of his foe. ”Don’t you have any cool attacks to send my way? Some cool technique you shout the name of before you use it? Maybe even a transformation? Surprise me.”
Given the scenery, perhaps this wasn’t the best idea. But Nashi wasn’t known to have the best ideas.

It wasn’t surprising that his attacks were denied. Nashi still had the leg up, though his taunting seemed to suggest he wasn’t interested in such a simple bout. Was it already time to go all out? It seemed to risky. Fatigue wasn’t a hazardous issue anymore, but playing his hand too early could be disastrous.
Did he have anything to lose, though? His presence was left squarely on the backfoot. All Nashi needed to do was get bored and Vocado wouldn’t have a chance to go gold.
Smirking, Vocado chuckled, crossing his arms as he raised a brow. ”Done with the warm-up then? Fine. I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.”
With a single shout, the Saiyan’s body was engulfed in righteous flame. Piercing teal eyes and golden hair lit his body up, with a power boost to match. The energy shock-wave wasn’t enough to upend any buildings, but the tower and its pillar certainly didn’t enjoy the sudden force being applied to it. Buckled wouldn’t be the word, but it was close.
”Come on then. Let’s ruin a sacred place together. Maybe Kami will come down and scold both of us.”
Vocado exhaled deeply. A surge of adrenaline pulsed. His body craved this form. Why he ever let himself away from the golden glow was still a mystery. Maybe somewhere deep down, he knew it’d thin the goodness in him that much more. That hopeful young prince he started as withered each time he awoke the legend.
He settled back into a defensive stance, his energy blade’s chaotic force changing into a calm, more pointed lance.

Vocado’s hair went yellow, like that store-brand mango cordial that everyone had and yet no one drunk. That was Vocado’s hair. pour it in the trash and it’d be his personality too haha get rekt”Huh. You’re one of those guys.” Nashi didn’t seem especially concerned. After all, he may or may not have defeated Super Saiyans in the past, depending on how threads not yet completed ended. So, yeah, that was basically the same thing as winning definitely! Nashi closed his eyes for a moment— he could not sense energy in the slightest but, for a moment, felt like he could tell precisely where everything in the room was. He almost certainly couldn’t, but dang did it feel like it. ”All right. His foe was many things, and it turned out one of them was the theatrical type. His power didn’t explode out all at once; rather it slowly poured from him. Growing and pooling like a tornado of Ki. It was wild and intimidating, but it hadn’t yet matched his Super Saiyan might.
Maybe his form had some type of flaw. Charging it up for so long seemed strange. Did it have a time limit? A stamina expending strength? The answer was unknown, but there had to be something. If he couldn’t overpower his opponent, outlasting him was just as good an option.
”I’ll give you everything I’ve got...” An energy ball formed in his hand, and without warning he launched it across the platform. It shrieked shrilly, and he did much the same. ”...WHEN YOU GIVE ME A REAL CHALLENGE!”
If Nashi was hit, it’d leave a mark, but it would be far from fatal. He intentionally held back for now, hoping to keep his energy as high as possible until the time came to unleash all he had. The Titan State would increase his strength, should he need it, but his speed would tank... A last resort in every sense of the word.

”YOU WANT A REAL CHALLENGE?!” Red and yellow energy flashes across the sky, shining through the windows. Like a great tree in a greater storm made miniature, the senzu bonsai began to tremble in the winds of the soul. The Tower was solid in its foundations, but even it began to rock. 'Buckled' was exactly the appropriate word to use. The Karinga, the peaceful folk living in the Sacred Land of the Senbyō, lived their unconventional though altogether repetitive lives. The Karinga were a happy lot, pleased in their way of life and that, finally, they had a Senbyō above them after hundreds of years without. They were also a bit concerned, at that moment especially. It wasn’t every day that an aurora came so close to the equator. It was also peculiar, if a bit menacing, that the aurora darted around like a huge storm contained in a vast storm and was comprised of entirely red and yellow, never touching. Until the golden power elapsed, and all that was left of it was red. It wasn’t like the gold died and the red grew to take its place, no, it was more like the emanating spires of golden ki simply became red in the blink of an eye, with nothing in between. So there stood Nashi, hero of Earth, as he went through a familiar transformation… "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”AAAHHHHH!!!" Nashi’s tails seemed to grow with his power. The flashes of red across his hair, eyes and tail weren’t flashes at all: now, they were there as regularly as the blue, and soon after it was the blue that came in brief flashes. In only a few moments, as if in slow motion, red covering his entire frame and beig while his two tails rose behind him. Like this but with the armour intact. ”This is the Perseverance to Life…! The deep-seated will to survive!” But that wasn’t the sum of it. The red began to fade away, but not back to blue. No, it began to flash with gold! Like the aurora before it, which was still going on and still reacting to these changes just as Nashi was, there would be instant flashes of yellow— no orange at any point. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" The gold eclipsed the red, and soon there was no red left. When the aura cleared, Nashi’s frame was revealed: he had more muscles to him, sure, but that wouldn’t be the most striking part of the change to one such as Vocado. With the exception of his golden eyes, he was the very image of a Super Saiyan! Like this but, once again, with armour intact. ”And this is the Power of Life! The will to act on the world! Personality, force! That which gives your ‘Super Saiyan’ form power!” But that wasn’t the sum of it, either. The red once again came to the stage, but it did not replace the gold. No, they began to dance against each other, as if they were things doing a dance, and the dance was danced very well! Given the situation, there’s only one option I can choose:BOTH!"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!” There was the slightest moment of still. ”Have it your way.” The true power of three sevenths of what a soul was capable of flushed through the cracks of space and being. This was beyond Power, beyond Survival… this was each made to heel. A brilliant spear of blue energy formed in Nashi’s hand. It pierced the Galick Gun which seemed to move in slow motion. It was empowered by the insolence of such a technique— did it really think it could win?— and continued on its way directly through Vocado’s chest! Activated Double Gated. New PL: 2,400,000. Post by Cress on Nov 8, 2019 1:48:41 GMT -6
Cress stood out infront of his house in Fukurou Forest, looking at his newly delivered items. One was a customly tuned scouter and the other was a dragon radar, which meant he finally had the means to help Vocado in the hunt. He had to pay quite the sum of cash to get the radar, which was in limited amounts and had some sort of weird and hard to make technology behind them, only being able to be made by the strongest minds in the universe. Cress smirked as he readied himself to press the scan button atop the radar. His excitement boomed at the thoughts of the fights that'd lay ahead. The fact that there may be someone stronger than him out there didn't bother him in the slightest. He signed up for the challenge and would gladly face the obstacles that came with it. If things got out of his control he could always come up with a solution. He always did. With no further hesitation he'd initiate the scan, pressing the button atop the radar. A yellow circle representing a dragon ball popped up on screen. It looked as if it were close to his location. He'd activate his scouter and look North, where the dragon ball was. Two battle powers showed up that were stronger than his. One was recognized as Vocado, who he'd had the scouter modified to be link to his scouter. It looked like Vocado was in the process of acquiring it, meaning there would probably be some sort of fight. He had to see this! He'd never seen a fight between a super saiyan and another person on the same level before. His aura engulfing his body, he took off and shot through the air toward the encounter. His scouter began to beep as he grew closer, indicating that the fight was beginning and everyone was powering up. Vocado's strength looked to be higher than the others. Not wanting to miss even a second, he began to speed up to full speed, quickly closing the gap between him and the lookout which he'd heard about after studying history between the S.S.E. and Earth. He slowed down as the two started to come into view, only for his scouter to beep again as the man ascended to a level nearing Vocado's strength. Vocado made the first move, only for the other man to fire back with an energy spear. His scouter began beeping again as the attacks collided, showing that the mans energy spear had grown nearly double in power. The readings for the attack were off the chart- this wasn't something Vocado could handle alone! The power of that attack far eclipsed his. Cress' mind went blank, he had to help his partner! Or else their plan would fail! Without taking his life into consideration, Cress flew past Vocado, positioning himself in between him and the attack. His intention was to soften the attack and let Vocado find a way to survive this attack, unleashing a kiai that made a shockwave stronger than any he'd ever made. "Huh?!" Cress eyes widened in shock as the shockwave only served to throw the attack slightly off course, causing it to come in his direction instead. That didn't go according to plan. Cress suddenly felt a wave of fear overcome him like no other. He looked back at Vocado. No, he couldn't do anything. He had to do this on his own, or else he'd die! Cress' heart pounded faster and faster as the adrenaline kicked in, his mind racing. "I'm going to die!" He thought about the goals he reached for but had not yet achieved, the people that he'd leave behind, the duty he had not fulfilled, the promise to his people that he'd not kept. The fear quickly turned into anger- anger towards himself. He thought about all those times he'd been blown away by attacks easily when his opponents to be spared, being at their mercy because he was so weak- so powerless. How could he fail himself, the one person he was able to stay true to? He couldn't let this happen! Not here, not now! "No!"As he yelled his hair would begin to flicker. "I will not give up so easily!" His aura shifted from red to yellow, his power rapidly growing. He was filled with resolve, making yet another promise to himself. That'd he would never be a push over again. That he would not be trapped again, whether it be in ice or in the depths of hell. That he would not fall so far behind. "I will not fail my people!! Nor will I fail myself!" The kiai was not working, no matter how strong he was. He needed to pull out his strongest attack if he wanted to survive. With one final roar, one final push, his power exploded and reached its maximum.
Cress clapped his hands and began pulling them apart, a ring of energy forming in between all while temporarily maintaining the kiai. He was giving this his all. He kept the ring small and condensed, packed with energy as to not let the energy spear slip through. As the spear closed in he moved backward with a quick burst of speed and quickly fired his ultimate attack: the Kill Driver. The two attacks collided with each other, causing an explosion bigger than he'd ever seen or caused before. "Gah!" Cress was caught in the resulting explosion, his body taking most of the remaining damage from the attack. He almost was sent flying but managed to stand his ground. He took heavy breathes, his body shaking, but he could still fight.

The world trembled in the wake of Nashi’s full power. Reds and golds and blues sparked around him. He really was a holy being. His essence proved that much in truckloads. Had Vocado made a misstep? Was this all going to be for nothing? Things seemed to move in shuttering, slowed motion. He was about to disgrace himself again. He was about to be ruined.
Here lies Vocado, the Traitor King.
Nashi’s Ki soared toward him, swallowing the Galick Gun whole with its righteous glory, and that rasping voice pierced Vocado’s mind again. He couldn’t think to dodge, nor to counter. He was frozen. In fear? Regret? Anger? Take your pick.
Kayen wouldn’t have fallen so quickly. Nashua would’ve found some way to survive an attack like that. Ramen wouldn’t let her foe get one over on her. The Voice laughed, gritty and hoarse. You really are a disgrace. The weakest Super Saiyan ever to breath. You don’t deserve my fate. You deserve to be forgotten.
He closed his eyes, and sighed. Yemma would laugh, too.
But the end never came.
In its stead, a golden savior. Bathed in the same legend Vocado was.
”Cress?!”
Cress had ascended, and with it, he unleashed a blast mighty enough to fend off their foe. The good was staved off, exploding with a force great enough to move mountains. Vocado was pushed back from the shock-wave, but he planted his feet. He would not let Cress fight alone.
As the smoke faded, the Super Saiyan couldn’t help but laugh. Maybe fate was wrong.
”You have got to be kidding. Of all people, you show up to help?”
Shaking his head, Vocado stepped forwards, placing a hand on Cress’ shoulder. Their fates were intertwined, it seemed. Since their forced exile by the Arcosians, they’d been fighting toward the same goal. Of all his allies, Cress was the only one who’d come with him this far. He smiled; a wicked, conniving grin.
”When we plant the tree, you’ll be the first to taste its splendor. I can promise you that.”
Turning to Nashi, he rolled his mechanical wrist, gears and wires clicking as if they were bones. ”That’s a clever little trick. Using my own attack to fuel yours. How many more times can you pull that off, little cat?”
There was no cleverness or sarcasm in the Saiyan’s tone. It was malice. Hatred was bubbling beneath the skin. It’d be unwise to use the Titan State yet, but he was certainly in the right mindset for it. He’d make Nashi pay for trying to end him so quickly. He’d wring the scraggly bastard’s neck for forcing one of his friends to ascend.
”You’ve got more in the tank, don’t you? You can’t give me a preview like that and just slow down. That’s bad manners!”
He rushed forwards, roaring as he approached. Letting loose a barrage of strikes, his intent was to pummel Nashi into the ground— and perhaps through it— with a non-stop onslaught. Nashi might have powered up, but his maximum was nothing Vocado couldn’t handle, especially now that his final gambit was used so early. It was time to put on the pressure.
