She could not believe she was doing this? She had come to Konats to meet Ikra who had promised next time they meet, the two of them would go to look for the perfect guy. She didn't want to do it that much at first but it had grown on her. Maybe she needed someone that was not Leech in her life. You would think being fused with someone would give you a good insight on other men but it just made her detest them. Anyway, she had found a place to stay and for the past few days had been asking around and looking for some places to buy a dress. If she was going to go on a date she might as well look good right? Plus she had been wearing the same armor for awhile. She'd like to wear at least something different every once in a while. She looked in the mirror giving it a look on the dress. It was a long black dress with a bit of her right shoulder exposed. She wondered if this was too much skin? She didn't know but she thought that would be ok. If it was too much Ikra could just tell her. She looked at the mirror smiling a bit. At worse her and Ikra could get some drinks. She wondered if Ikra could hold her down her liquor. She was a shadow last time she saw her after all. Guess she had to hope she was now not a shadow. Ikra would walk out making sure to give no one any looks. She could feel the heat of a lot people on her but she just ignored it. She arrived at a bar and looked around waiting for Ikra to show up. Hopefully she'd have some way to know she was here. Ikra’s PL: 10,000
“Anny!”It hadn’t been too long before Ikra had caught wind of an outsider on Konats! She had asked her pets to keep tabs on the area immediately surrounding the palace and the city. Her pets, of course, being tiny little shadow wraiths that couldn’t do much more than observe from the shadows as she had for so many long years. Well, loneliness aside, her wraiths made for exceptional spies. Spies which had alerted her to darling Anny’s arrival on Konats! Ikra supposed that the brother wasn’t too far away, but she couldn’t care less about him right now. Ikra was wearing her usual gown. It attracted a lot of attention, but Ikra didn’t mind. The Konatsians weren’t exactly sure how to take her, but they weren’t hostile toward her since her loyalty to the royal family was absolute. Sweeping across the room over to Anny’s side, she forcefully whirled the girl around and looked her up and down. Aw. She was so precious. Look at her all done up in her dress. That was when Ikra remember that this would be the first time that Anny saw her not as a shadow. She hastily took her hands off Anny and smiled cheerily at her. “It’s Ikra! It’s so good to see you again! You look amazing. I knew you had it in you.”Gosh, she was just so excited. To be honest, this was Ikra’s first girls night out as an actual participant. Still, she had watched enough to know how things usually went. She was very determined not to let her inexperience show. So, she smiled a bit more softly and took a seat beside Anny. “I see you managed to ditch your brother, tee hee. So! What would you like to do?”

Anny turned her head as someone was calling her. It sounded like Ikra and then he saw her. Anny jaw nearly dropped to the ground. She was a bombshell? Whoever her guy was truly was lucky. Anny had never seen anyone like her. She looked down at herself. Now she just felt inadequate. Then agian Ikra was already taken. Anny smiled, she should be fine. Plus they were going out as friends so she had nothing to worry about. She was suprised though when Ikra got close and spun her around. "Woah?" She nearly fell over confused at what just happened. Yet she managed to stay on her feet "Damn heels." Anny hissed. Those didn't help with balance at all. When Ikra complimented her she turned a bit red. "I mean I guess I look good but you look stunning Ikra. Your Prince must have been really happy to meet you." She smiled.
When Ikra mentioned her brother she scowled a bit. "Yah I ditched him a few days ago. It was a real pain. He wanted to come along I bet for a lot of reasons." To protect her, to meet Ikra and to find a girl himself. "Told him, of course, it was a girl's night out now two girls and one guy's night out. Didn't want him wandering the city either. He would cause trouble knowing him. So I sent him packing out in the desert. He should be back in three days more than enough time for us to do something." Anny smiled. When she mentioned what to do though she looked on confused. "Uh..." She could just go to a bar she guessed. That would not be that bad. "Uh...we can just go to a bar but I bet you know the best places around here so you can lead the way," Anny answered trying to keep her composure.

Ikra had to stop from bursting out into giggles when she saw Anny’s reaction to her. It did make her a little sad when she saw Anny very obviously comparing herself to her. Aw, sweetie. The first thing that they had to do was boost sweet Anny’s confidence as a woman. Being with her blockhead brother had eroded it so much. Ikra smiled at Anny’s comment about her Prince. To be honest, she wasn’t entirely sure how Riis had taken her arrival. He had seemed pleased at the time, but he hadn’t called her to his chambers at all… was there something she wasn’t doing correctly? Mm… maybe he just liked to take things slow. Oh, that was so very cute.
“I think he was, but I’m not sure! Hm… Well, anyway, really. You do look wonderful. I knew you had it in you, tee hee,” Ikra smiled warmly and listened attentively when Anny recounted the story of how she had ditched her brother in the desert not long ago. Ikra chuckled at that and shook her head. They both gave Leech a hard time, but he probably was just trying to look out for Anny. That was exactly why no guys had gone after such a cutie though! Who would with a brother like that hovering over her? Or rather, her keeping him in check. Whichever. Well, anyway, it looked like Anny was a little stumped for what to do. Mm, that was no good. Ikra wasn’t exactly an expert either, but she did know that Konats had a lot of unique attractions.
“Mm.. well, I think we could go to the night bazaar. I hear it’s rather festive! Like a party on the streets. They have all sorts of things for sale too! Perfumes, jewelry. I heard there are fortune tellers too.”

"Well, I am sure he'll make his feeling's known soon so don't worry." Anny smiled. Still, she didn't know what they could be doing. When Ikra suggested they could head to the Night bazaar she was confused. She had never heard anything like that but she explained it was a party on the streets. She nodded, "That sounds like something fun to do. Yah, let us do it!" She grinned. Maybe not the fortune teller cause she didn't wanna know her future but everything else sound great. She is able to find at least one person to talk too." She'd point for Ikra to lead the way but then another question popped into her head. "So how will I know if he is the right one. Like even If I find a nice guy out there. I don't really know how to tell but I am sure that you do. You found your prince after all, you must have some secrets from not only finding the right guy but getting them to want to be with you." Anny face turned red a bit as she rubbed her hands together. Man, she was just so embarrassed thinking about it. It was so odd letting her feeling carry her rather than her brain.

Reassured by Anny, Ikra was happy that she seemed to be enjoying herself already. Sliding off her seat, she hooked her arm into Anny’s arm and led the way outside. It was actually kind of chilly out in the desert at night, but thankfully the city had some minor form of insulation, which just made it pleasant if dry. Brushing a bit of hair from her face, Ikra put a finger to her lips, trying to remember the way to the Night Bazaar. She was fairly sure that it was… this way, yes? Tugging Anny along, Ikra made sure to point out the various sights of Konats out to her. She couldn’t let her friend miss out on the beauty of the city! As they went along, Ikra considered Anny’s question.
“Hm… well, to be honest, I didn’t know that Lord Riis was the one for a long while. I was just sort of looking for anyone and anything to entertain me at the time. And he… just caught my eye. As I was around him more, I felt myself falling for him. Tee hee, as silly as that may sound. So, I suppose my answer is just find someone that catches your interest and spend time with them! You’ll know soon enough if you do that. Ah! We’re here!”
As she said that, Ikra pulled Anny into a square with a fountain in the center. The air above them was filled with colorful floating lanterns that danced around the square. Some Konatsian music was being played by a band standing off to one side. There were a bunch of stalls lined with goods like clothing, souvenirs, and other such trinkets. Many Konatsians wandered about with drinks in their hands, enjoying the festivities. Street performers performed acrobatics and breathed fire. Ikra looked over to Anny.
“So! What would you like to do first? I think they have parades later in the night.”

Anny looked around the city as Ikra pointed out the sights on Konats. Ikra smiled, she was glad she was here instead of out killing people. She used to think to go around and drinking was the way to live her life. Now she was not so sure anymore. Being out here just chatting was a lot of fun. She only wished that Leech could find the same. Yet, she was pretty sure he’d stay a bonehead. Anny looked at Ikra as she explained how she found Riis. It was not a special story but it was a good story. So she just fell for him? She was hoping for something that will help her but guess she’d just know if she fell for someone. No need to do the song and dance and wait for years to tell them she cared for them. Only a week or a month would be enough time right?
They arrived at the center of town Anny’s eyes wandering the whole area. It was large and there were a lot of people having a good time. It seemed so peaceful for all of them. She looked around seeing the stalls lined with all sorts of things to buy. Guess she has a bit of money to spend. When Ikra asked what she thought they should do. Anny shook her head. “We can go shopping first maybe get a drink and wait for the parade that sounds like a fun thing to do.” Anny was just hoping she’d run into someone instead of going out to seek someone.

“Perfect! Let’s go! I know a booth that has a style of jewelry that will just make your eyes pop!” Ikra said happily, tugged her in the direction of the marketplace. It wasn’t too packed with people, but the streets in some isles were rather narrow. Ikra strode along purposefully until she spotted the booth that had caught her eye some nights before. Arranged in neat rows were necklaces, bracelets, and earrings made in different styles, but all from the same material, which was like a black opal.
Ikra picked one up and pressed it to Anny’s arm lightly to see how it went with her current outfit. Hm. Not quite. She put it back and bit her thumb lightly as she scanned the other styles available. Finally, she saw one that might work. It was sort of sleek. She grabbed it and slid it over Anny’s wrist again, smiling to herself. Yes! “What about this? What do you think? Do you like it?”
Waiting for Anny’s answer, Ikra glanced around for another interesting booth, but something else caught her eye. There was a group of rather young and eligible looking bachelors all in a group sitting around an outdoor bar. Ikra didn’t find herself particularly attracted to them, but that was just because she only had eyes for Riis. They were handsome to be sure, and all had the somewhat delicate and exotic features that were particular to Konatsians.
“Oh! Anny, what do you think of him?”
Ikra pointed to who she thought was the most handsome of the bunch. She felt that she recognized him from somewhere. Maybe he was one of the castle guards? Hm. Or maybe he was from one of the villages that she was trying to help rebuild? Oh well. Not that it mattered as long as he was a gentleman.

"Ok." Anny followed Ikra she seemed to know where to go to find all the best shopping goods. Though she didn't get the expression Ikra was going for. She was pretty sure having your eyes pop out as bad. Especially that her eyes were yellow balls without much of an iris. She followed her and as they arrived he'd eyed all the jewelry. They looked pretty good but Ikra was the expert on fashion. She was going to let Ikra decide what she would wear. When she finally brought one out and asked if she liked it. She gave it a look over and smiled. "I liked it I'll take this one." Anny almost left but remembered they still needed to buy it. She hoped Ikra had the money to buy it. When Ikra noted about people sitting at an outdoor bar. She looked over the group of them. "They look pretty good to me. I guess we can pay them a visit." The worst that could happen was rejection. At best she could find someone special like Ikra had. Though Anny did look at the one who was the best looking of the bunch the one Ikra was focused on. He did look the best of the group but he couldn't focus on just there look.

Ikra slid a couple of Konatsian coins toward the stall keeper and gave him a smile before turning back to Anny. She seemed open to the idea of going to see the Konatsian boys outside of the bar. Wonderful. Hm. If Ikra was to be a proper wingwoman, she couldn’t upstage Anny. As cute as she thought her friend looked, her appearance had been pretty much hand tailored to seduce even the most hardened man. She wanted to look good enough for Riis after all! Mm…
Glancing to Anny, she puffed out her cheeks in an adorably determined way. “Okay! What’s our plan of attack? Do you want me to downplay myself? Whatever you need, I’m here for you! I can go with a little pudge,” Ikra said with a brief snap of her fingers. As she did, shadows twisted around her body. Suddenly, she just looked like an ordinary - if slightly overweight - Konatsian woman with golden eyes. “Or should I go with you as myself?”
In another brief puff of shadow, Ikra returned to her previous state, tilting her head to one side. She wanted to support Anny as best she could. She hoped that Anny wouldn’t take it as Ikra doubting her good looks. She definitely did not! She just wanted to figure out the best chance of success! Ikra wanted Anny to find her prince charming too.

Anny looked at Ikra as she spoke about there plan of attack. She was wondering if she should be someone else or be herself. Anny didn't even ponder the question. "You of course. I want them to like me regardless of who is standing next to me." Anny said looking at herself. "I know I ain't like you but that is ok. If they only see what in front of them then they don't deserve me." Anny huffed. "Plus I am pretty sure they would know you are taken right?" Anny shrugged. He was pretty sure only an idiot would try to hit on the girlfriend of the prince of a planet. That sounded like trouble especially if Riis was a fellow that was spiteful and protective of his woman. "And lastly if you are there they probably won't be as freaked out by me. I do look like an offworlder after all." Ikra looked like she could fit in other than the horns but Anny was def not someone from Konats.

“I’m not so sure…” Ikra tapped the side of her face lightly. While she gushed about Riis to whoever would listen, she tried to keep a rather professional manner about herself so as not to bring embarrassment to Riis. She didn’t want to come across as anything but an asset and kind hearted addition to the forces of Konats. She wanted the people to like her after all, and she didn’t have the benefit of being born a prince or princess of Konats. She did her best, but she worried it wasn’t enough.
“I suppose you’ve a point though, Anny, darling. Alright! Let’s go get you a man, shall we?”
Ikra giggled and hooked her arm through Anny’s again, tugging her over to where the Konatsian men were chatting. She wondered if Anny preferred stronger men. Certainly not meatheads like her brother, right? She wasn’t sure if classy highborn Konatsians would be a good fit either though. Ah, this was difficult, wasn’t it? Hm… Maybe she’d like Prince Typha? He seemed like he’d be a good fit.

Anny nodded and followed Ikra as they went to talk with the men. "It will be fun." She felt her arm get grabbed and smiled. This was going to be fun. She began to walk towards them and smiled. They seemed to notice her and they didn't even look too wired out by it. Maybe this would work out. She walked over as one came out and kissed her hand. "My lady you look wonderful tonight." Anny blushed. "Oh your too kind." She smiled. He raised his hand. "I know it sudden but care to dance." She looks at Ikra and smiles and moves to dance with the man. It would be fun to dance with him. Anny and the man walked over to dance with others who were enjoying some music. Very romantic music Anny might add. Anny was not used to dancing as a lady would but this was fun. It was nice too that he didn't just go look at Ikra and go to kiss her hand. Well for one that probably gets him in trouble but he wanted to dance with her.
The man looked up. "My lady I didn't expect to see anyone like here on our planet. What brings you to Konats?" Anny smiled. "I was with my friend. Konats is a nice place to see." He smiled. "Yes, your eyes are like pearls in the ocean." Her smile grew. "Oh, you flirt? You're being too kind." They grew closer. "My lady you are being too modest. You must have more confidence in yourself." She leaned in a bit looking him in the eyes. "You look great too." He had two large blue eyes she could melt into. He leaned in a bit too there head's touching. Ikra was right this was nice. Then he heard him snicker slightly. The two others watching snicked a bit too. Anny frowned what was so funny. The two men muttered to each other. "Yah this is easy. We get in her then we can totally get a chance with Ikra. It is so easy." Anny frowned even deeper. She wanted to pull away but she didn't.
She wanted to be close to someone. Maybe it was something wrong with her? She had been close to Leech. They use to be one being a long time ago. That what they were supposed to be. She wanted to have that bond with someone else. To feel like one person. The man before her asked. "So shall we continue dancing my lady." He put back on the charm and Anny just nodded but didn't speak. She danced but she didn't feel happy. She didn't feel anything. As the people danced and he leaned in closer there were some footsteps. The man looked over as Leech walked into the area rubbing his head. "Finally I am back home." Leech saw the man with Anny. He narrowed his eyes seeing her face. Then he looked at the two others. It was not hard to piece together it was not going well. Leech walked over putting a hand on the guy's shoulder. "She seems to be sad. Let the lady rest." Leech smiled as the man smiled back. "I don't know what you are saying she having a g..." Leech gripped his shoulder snapping the bone with ease. The man fell over crying out. Anny let go and looked at Leech.
"Leech, what the hell are you doing here?" Leech looked at his sis. "I knew something like this could happen. You'd get all mushy. Listen if you're trying to find someone to be with that is fine but come on. You can't just fall for any pretty face." The two other men walked over to Leech who eyed him. "Hey, you hurt out a friend." One drew a flimsy-looking steel blade. Anny looked at her brother. "I thought...I thought for a moment they'd look at me like Ikra. You know?" Leech snorted. "Ikra is good looking yah but so what. You got your own traits." The man poked Leech with the sword drawing a bit of blood. Leech frowned as the man looked up. "uhh." Leech smashed both the dummy into the dirt. "Yah! That fucking felt great." Of course, doing that causes people to start to scatter. Guess he ruined that. The last fellow scrambled off but Anny grabbed him. "We ain't done yet buster!!!!" She brought her back and smashed it into his head knocking him out. "Hah." Anny sighed feeling much better. Leech looked at Ikra. "Hey Ikra." No lust in his voice he was far more composed than the first time. He was serious, someone hurt his sister. Any other time yah, but when someone messes with his sister that was asking for trouble. "Sorry for the mess. I bet this is going to be annoying to explain to your boyfriend? Prince? Benefactor? I don't know what you call it."

It seemed to be going so well at first. Anny was smiling and happy. The gentleman didn’t seem too awful looking compared to Riis. But then, as Ikra looked on, she saw Anny frown followed by… snickering, was it? She had mistaken it for simple chuckling but… Ikra’s expression grew worried, but… maybe it was nothing? Anny kept dancing with him, so… But she just looked so unhappy. Leech strolled along, entering the fray as it were. Ikra didn’t feel it was her place to interfere, but she stepped up anyhow to listen in a bit.
Unfortunately, it erupted into violence, one of the men drawing a blade. Ikra’s eyes flashed menacingly, but Leech handled it first, slamming them down into the dirt. It broke out into a full out brawl, Anny getting some good old fashioned revenge. Ikra calmed herself but sent a silent order to her shadow spies. Ikra smiled at Leech warmly for perhaps the first time.
“Oh, don’t worry about it. I’ll handle things here. Anny, I’m so sorry… I wanted this to be a fun night… You're the first girl friend that I’ve made ever! So… I just wanted everything to be perfect… Ah… maybe next time, you show me your idea of a fun night out? And thank you, Leech. I suppose you have your moments.”
Ikra offered both of them a wry smile before leaning in to kiss both Anny and Leech on the cheek. She stepped back, waving them off. “Well, you should go before the guards arrive. I’ll handle him.” She glanced down at the man that Anny had knocked out. Never before had she so violently wanted to punish someone who was a Konatsian. Well. She’d make sure that it was a lesson all three of them would never forget. With that vicious intent hidden behind a sweet smile, Ikra waved again. It would certainly be a night these three would never forget.
Thread Exit! Ikra has to go do some terrible things to the boys that insulted her friend.
