Aurora stretched in an attempt to limber up, the sudden heat at the base of Mt. Frappe clashing with the generally chilly feeling that had pervaded her whilst she was on the mountain and in the middle of that blizzard. Such heat, here at the base of a snow mountain and In one of the colder climates of the world… It did not bode well for the ice-worlder if this was considered cold by the local inhabitants, the oh so creatively named Earthlings (which seemed to essentially be Saiyans but no tails and generally weaker), then she made a silent promise to herself to avoid the more tropical areas and southern hemisphere if she can help it. Just the thought of it made her lip curl in disgust, and she quickly moved on to her mission. Her Princess. A sigh left her as she took into the air. As much as she liked to think she may just stumble across Princess Belle, that wasn’t how things worked. This world was large, and still populous. She would need to find either those in the know about her and aliens in general or hope that she’s created… something of note. Something people might remember. It would be nice if the latter were true, but there was a reason that no Arcosian had heard from her since Lord Chill’s death and all attempts to find her, friendly or otherwise, had failed. So that meant she needed to somehow find an alien here in this nest of billions. Great. However, Aurora was nothing if not stubborn and determined, and the thought of quitting didn’t even cross her mind. It just meant a slightly longer mission. “ Scouter, where’s the closest population hub?” She questions the device linked to her ship, being almost immediately provided with the information to… North City. Wow. These earthlings and their originality. Another sigh left the purple Arcosian as she lifted further into the air, and set off towards this ‘North City’, following her scouter’s mounted directions. Typically she would err upon the side of caution when it came to flight, as some species weren't as innately capable of it compared to hers, but for once it seemed subtlety would only harm her mission. She needed information, quickly, and those capable of flight such as her would be the ones most likely to give her what she wanted. One way or another. As Aurora flew closer, enjoying the freezing winds that whipped past her and howled within her ears, she debated how she was going to do this. A part of her wished to simply begin enacting violence upon the... heh, 'city' that was steadily growing larger before her, and then simply beat the answers out of whoever approached her without the aid of a device. Of course, she quickly shut that idea down and filed it away as a last resort. From what she knew, there were plenty of beings out there and on this planet that could swat her like a fly without any chance of her surviving, if they so wished. For now, the best approach was to take this peacefully and somewhat obviously. Descending for a moment, Aurora lands upon one of the small mountains that ringed North City and crosses her arms, staring down at it deep in thought. How to do this... Simply flying over it may work, but the city was apparently noted for being rather technologically advanced and she didn't want to set off any alarms. There was obvious, and then there was calling in whatever passed for this place's local military forces and no matter what kind of backwater this planet was, Aurora doubted she was strong enough to actually fend off any sort of organised force. Her muscles still ached from the yetis, although that could simply be due to her reverting to her suppressed form once more, which felt a little like squeezing one's arm into a blaster a few sizes too small. She could flare her power? No, there was no guarantee that any of those down there had a scouter or could sense that sort of thing. Perhaps a little periphery destruction? Knock off a mountaintop? Hm. No. Not only was she possibly too weak to pull that off, it would be minor enough to those in the city that they may not even notice. It seemed that there was only one real way to get the attention she required, and that would mean approaching the city. But how to do so? Flying over wouldn't work, so.. perhaps flying through the streets? But that comes with the same problem, even if it meant she would be noticed more. Wait. Maybe she could combine the two options? Those capable of flight would most likely be able to recognise the telltale signs, no matter how minor, so she could possibly... Leaping from the hill with enough force to send the snow there flying and the ice shattering, Aurora sped through the air towards North City, angling to land just a little bit before its gates. It didn't take long for her to land upon the dead and frozen grass surrounding the city, something she presumed was a vain attempt by the local government to add come natural colour beyond the shades of grey that surrounded them. Grass crunched beneath her feet as she made her way towards the city, quickly jumping a wall that was blocking her and any other attempts to enter via a route that wasn't watched. Floating back down, the Arcosian stopped just an inch from the ground and looked around. She was behind a rather large building, but fortunately there seemed to be nothing but empty vehicles and garbage disposal bins. After spending a few minutes there to get the motions of walking without actually touching the ground down, Aurora eventually made her way out to a... rather more populated street than she had anticipated. The moment she appeared she began to get looks as well, as people stared and some even pointed. For some reason, the teen felt warmth rush to her cheeks as she realised she had forgotten that... well, there were no other Arcosians here. And that unlike her, many seemed to be wearing something over their bodies, most likely in an effort to ward off the cold. Suddenly this was looking a lot more difficult than she had thought it would be and it took all she had to stare directly forward and continue 'walking', trying her best to not pay attention to the... well, the attention she was getting. She desperately began to hope that someone that knew would notice, as she wasn't sure just how long she could make it. Zhalla @dion

It'd been a rather busy day for one Saiyan in particular as she'd been racing around Central City almost all day to get her kids to where they needed to be on time, there were a lot of kids in her care and they were all so different and into different things that it was hard to keep up with everything sometimes. On top of all that she and Uba, the little namekian boy in her care went to go see his big saiyan brother as well at the hospital he'd been stuck in for months now. Nothing was much different this time to the last time they went in though, they go in and spent some time while he sleeps time away and that was how it went everytime they went in to visit him. But this time had added upset from Uba as the months were dragging out with no progress and the seasons were getting colder and towards the holiday season which wasn't something he wanted to celebrate without his big brother. Zhalla would hide away her ginger tail and do everything she could to further comfort the young boy but it pained her that the only thing she couldn't do to help, was the one thing he wanted, for his brother to wake up.
Once all the kids were back home again and settling down after their activities for the day it was time Zhalla go out and do her own things as well, so after setting one of the older kids in charge for a couple hours or more while she was gone she would head out on her bike and speed off on the roads to North City. The saiyan was in such a rush today that she didn't even realize she still had her tail hidden away from when she was with Uba earlier, not that it mattered anyway it wasn't like it mattered if people knew she was Saiyan or not anyway!
Arriving at the city she'd dismount her bike and parked it someplace she'd remember and knew it would be safe to sit at for a while before slipping off her helmet as well to leave it packed away in the bike's bag carrier. The gloves would stay on for now and she'd switch out her biker jacket for a leather one with fluffy insides instead, thank gosh she packed that extra jacket she had forgotten how cold it could get here this time of year! She'd curse under her breath lightly about the temperature before setting off down the street and eventually stumbling into one of the more busier spots that had shops and bars and all sorts of buildings full of life along both sides of the street, just where she needed to be!
The Saiyan would give a couple of shops a window's glance for a few moments before moving a long, giving her chin a tap in thought but her line of thought was broken when she noticed other people began to stare and point at something or someone else out of the blue. Looking to see what all the fuss was about it ended up being a rather lost looking Arcosian who did look a little out of place in a crowd full of earthlings. Zhalla also noticed that whomever they were, they were not fully even touching the ground and it made her smile lightly as it reminded her of when she first came to Earth and tried to blend in as well.
While she by no means knew this Arcosian or knew what they were here for, she could tell something was up and knew that not all earthlings were even friendly to that race, which was probably partly why they looked so out of place to begin with, being singled out would easily make it seem that way. Either way she had to do something and couldn't just stand around and watch them seem so lost in a place like this. So the saiyan would wander over to the offworlder and shot some looks at the people giving her stares. Reaching the Arcosian she'd hold out her hand in greeting, not exactly expecting a hand shake back but at least the offer was out there, "Hey there, my name's Zhalla! It's nice to meetcha" She'd take off her fluffy jacket and offered it to them to both be friendly and help with the issue that they were essentially an alien with no clothes in an area full of warmly dressed people. She only had a light green shirt on now that the jacket was off but helping out someone else mattered more then the cold right now.
"You seem a little lost, what's say we head inside that building over there out of the cold and maybe I could give you some help from there?" She'd motion towards a bar that was the closest building to where the two were situated, she'd then lower her voice lightly and lean in a little, "You may wanna lower yourself down more if you don't want more people to notice that you're actually floating by the way"

Aurora was beginning to regret her choice. It had been almost ten minutes at this point, and while she was getting plenty of attention it was almost certainly the wrong kind. The stares from these earthling mud dwellers shouldn't matter to her, she knew this. Arcosian teachings taught their general superiority to species such as this, in fact it was quite literally a textbook example when concerning the green skinned Namekians. So why was it that the confused stares, the disdainful muttering and the angry jabs in her direction made her feel so... unwanted. Embarrassed, even. It didn't make any sense, and she found herself hating them for it. Back in her home, she had never felt out of place or unwanted whether in public or private. She, and everyone else, knew where she belonged and no one had a problem with that. Here though… well, anywhere… it was all so different. Far too freeform and liquid.
Her scanner beeped in warning as it detected something of a significantly higher power level approaching her from the side, and she ‘turned’ on the spot to look in the indicated direction. In a way it was almost fortunate people had been avoiding her, as she didn’t force anyone to veer out of her way as she scanned the group of people. Where were they… they had to be somewhere nearby- “Hey there, my name's Zhalla! It's nice to meetcha!” Darting back a small distance in surprise, now more obviously floating as she forgets to move her legs, Aurora glances in shock towards a red headed earthling that was smiling at her, hand stuck out towards her for… some reason. Aurora wasn’t quite sure, and didn’t have long to ponder it as the arm retracted and moved to pull off the coat and- wow those were rather lar- focus.
The earthling held out a coat for her at the same time as Aurora’s scouter pinged her once more, this time a little urgently as she glanced towards the screen. A flash of shock floods through her as she realises that the earthling’s… height wasn’t the only thing large about her, displaying a PL that clashed very thoroughly with what she thought she had known about the species. For a moment Aurora was suspicious, her face screwing up to reject the offer of this complete stranger, but then she felt the stares once more and her resolve faltered. While she didn’t know this red headed earthling… she was offering her salvation from all the attention she was getting and seemed nice enough.
“Hello, uh, Zhalla.” She responds to her as she accepts the fluffy jacket and wrapped it around herself, instantly feeling better. While temperature wasn’t something her species ever had to worry about when it came to health, to simply be wearing something like all the others made her feel a lot less… open. Sinking to the ground, her feet touched the rough pavement, toes finding purchase as she nods in assent. A part of her rejoiced at having found someone who not only knew about flight (exactly what she had been looking for), but also seemed to be willing to talk, but the majority of her mind was preoccupied with simply escaping all the attention and feeling gratitude towards this earthling for allowing her to do so. Not that she showed it, of course. That was out of the question, to do so in front of a stranger.
"Mm." Was the only sound of assent that came from Aurora as she allowed herself to be lead the short distance to the building that Zhalla had recommended, walking only just a little behind Zhalla but doing her best to hide within the confines of the fluffy jacket. It was only once they stepped within the confines of the building that she let out a breath that she did not realise she had been holding and, still wrapped in the jacket, made her way from the entrance into the bar proper. Looking around, she noted the aesthetics of the place, which were admittedly far more pleasing to the eye than could typically have been found upon Arcose. The walls were made of dark, varnished wood whilst the floor was mostly carpeted, with the only places that were't being the entrance where she stood and the bar itself. Booths lined the walls, and tables filled the gap between them and the bar itself. Said bar was placed at the rear of the building, with a large wall of various different bottled drinks lining the back of it and held within a rather simple, wooden shelving that matched the rest of the bar.
Manning the bar was another earthling, a male if she was guessing correctly. He had dark, spiky hair in a way that did not pleasantly remind her of a Saiyan's, coupled with olive skin and dark eyes. He was dressed in what she assumed was rather formal attire, having seen the same upon diplomats sent to Arcose. She supposed he could be considered handsome, although that thought was interrupted when the scouter beeped again, showing a power level close to that of the red head that was beside her, something that made her eyes widen in shock and body tense for a moment. Glancing towards Zhalla, Aurora hesitated. Her instincts told her this was a sort of trap, but... there was something about the whole situation that said otherwise. Plus, not as if these earthlings would be able to take her if it came down to it.
With a breath, she forces herself to calm down and turns fully towards Zhalla. The Arcosian wasn't sure how the customs were on this planet, that much was obvious to both her and Zhalla it seemed, and so she... hesitantly deferred to the one that had pulled her out of that situation. It wasn't often that one showed anything approaching weakness within her culture, but if she was ever to free her home and take revenge for what had happened to her- if she was ever going to free her people... perhaps it was time to break a few boundaries. There were certain aspects of society that could stand to be changed, and if she ever managed to take back their home she would need to understand exactly what would need to be changed. that being said, she felt blood rush again to her cheeks as she whispers under her breath to Zhalla. "What now?"

"It's been a minute, hasn't it? Good to see the bars still booming in business.."
The young Saiyan bartender formally known as Dion wasn't actually planning on heading to work today- in fact, it had been an impulsive last minute decision to even come out toward North City, it really had not been on his agenda. Originally, the day was supposed to be more training oriented. Dion had struggled with the idea and feared even the slightest suggestion that his combative skill was beginning to wear down, especially after he had taken aback by a large slump of sorts a couple months back before this. It was a strange feeling, being complacent for such a long while, and having to try to adjust to a more regular day to day schedule once more. But he knew that the future waited for no man, and he had hopped back into the fray quite quickly, starting to train hard and work hard just as he did before his gigantic break. To his irritation, Dion found that his endurance and durability when it came to both working outside and inside of the pub doors had definitely diminished, with his people person skills needing a bit of time to get brushed off and the ring rust accumulated after such a long period of time outside of any time of combat whatsoever hurting his body's endurance in both battle and training. He had quite the uphill battle to face if he was to return to the peak he was at before his slump, and so he had scheduled today to be a day in which he attempted to recapture some of that passionate fire that helped to propel himself forward in physical prowess. The thing that he hadn't taken account for though was just how resistant his body would be to him attempting to whip it back into shape, and nursing the various aches and pains that came after working his body to the absolute limit for almost an entire day, Dion attempted to find something that he could still occupy himself with to keep his muse aflame.
Old habits die hard, but this particular pass-time of his that doubled as an occupation was something that he most likely would never be able to shake. Perhaps one day when he feels satisfied with his travels he'd settle down near a bar somewhere and instead of being the server he'd be the one being served, but that was into a very far away future. Now was the present, and Dion decided a bit of time mingling with the community of the North wouldn't hurt at all. So, the young Saiyan male, after going through his options, eventually chose a certain bar that he himself had worked at for quite a bit when he had been low on cash, which made it easier for him to adjust to both the atmosphere and the clientele since he had already met most of them. It felt quite nostalgic, working behind the stained wooden counter outlooking the entire restaurant bar fusion once more. It was a nice feeling.
While he busied himself with messing around with some drink ingredients, Dion suddenly sensed two higher than usual power signatures approaching the entrance of the bar. Turning his head, and adjusting his tie, the young man set his attention toward the two newcomers- an interested look coming upon his face as the two entered. One of them was, holy hell, incredibly tall- with a head adorned with ginger hair, a body most women would likely envy, all tied together with a height that made Dion look like an utter midget. He felt like he had seen the woman before somewhere, but he couldn't put his finger on why. Central City and the woman together rang a couple bells, but all sounded too dull to come up with a solid conclusion.
Moving on from the gargantuan woman, Dions gaze turned toward the- wait, was that...
He rubbed his eyes comically for a moment.
Was that an Arcosian? He had never seen one in person before, and the only sources in which he has heard about Arcosians from were some lessons taught by his (incredibly biased) school teachers, some firsthand accounts by his drunkard father, and political mentionings of them by word of mouth. A guilty pit began to fill in his stomach, he was well aware that his own race didn't exactly have the best of relations with the female Arcosians, and for some reason the crimes of his people began to weigh on his own consciousness. Dion quickly shook it off though- the crimes of a large majority does not define the rest of the batch. He would just have to make a good first impression.
Waving the two over with a friendly grin, Dion said in a bubbly tone, "Hey there you two-! Looking for some seats? I could seat you up here if you wouldn't mind!"

When the arcosian darted backwards in surprise at her greeting the Saiyan would hold her hands up and take a small step backwards. "Sorry sorry! Didn't mean to startle you" She'd still offer her greeting with a smile though but as she expected they didn't seem to know what the outstretched hand part meant. That didn't matter though she could explain it later perhaps instead!
As she held out her offered coat she noticed the offworlder's expression seemed to change, scrunching up a bit as though ready to reject the saiyans help. This made Zhalla's smile slip a little bit as she thought for sure they were going to slap her help aside and continue on their way alone at any moment and yet her want to help them still burned strong within. This rejection however wouldn't come to pass and instead the arcosian accepted the offered jacket and began to speak up as well. Not only that but they seemed to become a lot more relaxed once they had the jacket on and their feet properly touching the ground. "What's your name, if you don't mind me asking?" The saiyan was especially careful and patient when leading Aurora over to the bar, doing her best to be as quick about it as she could for the arcosian's sake, the sooner they were inside and out of sight, the better.
Getting inside didn't take very long for the duo to achieve as both women seemed to want to get away from the staring crowd outside. Letting Aurora head in before her while Zhalla held the door open, she'd then promptly close it behind her now that they were both comfortably inside. Looking back to the arcosian she noticed that she was rather tuckered down within the jacket in a way most people did when trying to hide and it only made her feel worse for her, since she'd done nothing to even deserve the stares she'd gotten, she simply existed as the race she was and that was enough for some people to seemingly despise her or at least make her feel unwelcome with looks alone.
Zhalla sighed lightly but hoped that same attitude wouldn't continue from the people inside the bar. Speaking of the bar they had entered a rather nice looking one with a cozy atmosphere. It'd been some time since the saiyan had even stepped foot in a bar in all honesty but this had been the closest building and seemed rather pleasant to just relax in for a while which was exactly what they needed about now. Relaxed though was far from what the arcosian seemed after she took a look at the earthling who stood behind the bar and it made the saiyan raise her eyebrow slightly as she had done similar after getting a look at her as well. When Aurora looked back to her that way though in her moment of hesitation, the saiyan would offer a reassuring smile. "We're safe here, don't worry!"
She still seemed rather on-edge but eventually Aurora faced the Saiyan and when she asked what she did Zhalla would take a look over to the bar counter. "Now we get to sit back, relax and have some time away from staring crowds, you looked a little lost out there too are you looking for something? I could help you find what you're here for if you'd like?" She'd motion first though towards the bar counter where a man who was dressed rather nicely was waving them over. "We don't have to talk about anything you're not comfortable with though but if we hang out in here for a little while, by the time we head back out again the crowds will be more thinned out and you can roam in peace after that. For now though, come, have a seat!"
Leading the arcosian over to the bar if she chose to follow along, Zhalla would offer a small wave and a smile to the gentleman behind the counter, "Yes please, that'd be lovely, thank you! What kinda drinks do you have on offer for tonight- Do you also happen to serve meals as well by any chance or just drinks?" Carefully taking a stool seat by the counter she'd look back to the Arcosian with a hopeful smile, hoping she'd follow along and perhaps be comfortable enough to be more open, maybe if she herself gave Aurora more to work with, she'd be more open to talking and feel less put on the spot? "Is this your first time coming to Earth by any chance?" Small steps, while she did want to help perhaps asking right off the bat why the arcosian was here was not the right move to make and could come off as judgmental if asked too soon.

Aurora wasn't sure what was worse in terms of level of shame, the stares that had come from all those earthlings outside or the fact that she was half 'rescued' by one of those very same earthlings. Was she not an Arcosian? A member of a proud race that wouldn't even blink at how the other species saw them? What happened to her outside? The very memory of it made her shake her head in an tempt to clear herself of the image, and she was almost tempted to take off the jacket, just to prove that she didn't need it. Almost. Instead, she made certain that the coat was firmly covering her and followed uncertainly after the red headed woman as the Earthling in the formal clothing called them over, offering them seats up at the bar itself. The earthling woman, Zhalla she had called herself, was seemingly taking the lead in dealing with the male at the bar. Aurora was okay with allowing her to dictate their choices for now, as the purple skinned Arcosian wasn't sure at all of the customs here on Earth and how they lined up with those found upon Arcose. Already the building was one she didn't recognise, seemingly specialising in various sorts of liquids if the bottles behind the male were anything to go by.
Following the female's lead, she floated up a small distance and seated herself upon a bar stool. Unfortunately this had the added side effect of her thick tail rising up from where it had been instinctively tucked between her legs at her anxiety, riding the coat up as it swished out of nerves and a small amount of awkwardness. For a moment she sat silently, gazing at the polished wood of the bar as her nose screwed up at the sent of spilt... something coming from the mat in from of her. In fact, that same smell pervaded a lot of this building. It wasn't entirely unpleasant, but it certainly wasn't nice. It really made her wonder what the general purpose of such a place was. Perhaps she'd find out soon?
Glancing towards the red headed Earthling, Aurora noticed that she was looking at her with something approaching expectation in her expression, and Aurora's own eyes widened as she realised she had probably been asked a question. Or, as her memory reminded her, multiple questions while she had been trying to focus and get her bearings about what exactly was happening (seriously, saved by an Earthling from Earthlings?). "Oh, uh." She began, mind racing to try and remember the order of the questions. This woman, and in fact the man as well as her scouter helpfully reminded her, were most likely the closest thing she had to a tangible lead upon Belle's location. She couldn't afford to just sit there like some mute! "I'm... My name is Aurora." She got out, feeling a sort of relief flood through her as all of a sudden things became a lot easier. "Yes, i'm here because i'm... searching for someone. A little girl called Belle, she's a..." Her breath hitched for a moment, but she muscled past it and the memories that came with the next name. "A saiyan. She would only be about 8. "
Aurora lets out a breath as she continued to speak, happy to have had the hardest part over and done with. Surely, from now on it would be easier, correct? It would need to be. "And... yes. This is my first time having come to your planet." Short and to the point, that was how she was going to get through this. Long ramblings or emotional displays would only hinder her search, and that was the reason she didn't mention her reasons why. That was the ONLY reason. Her teeth ground together and her tail shivered for a moment as she once again buried the emotions that tore through her for only a split second. A self depreciating thought crossed her mind, noting that she was seemingly getting good at doing that, before she banished the idea. Focus on the now, not the then.
Glancing towards the male behind the bar, she brought a hand up to turn off her scouter for the time being. Not only did it drain battery, but it was polite. Taking the headpiece off, she folds it and clenches it within her hands, but continued to look towards the male. "You have a similar power level, and didn't... react the the way others did outside." She says to him, frowning as she worked through what she was trying to get at. "I presume you've met my kind before? Or at least know of it." Perhaps there were other Arcosians upon earth? That would be a surprise, considering her people's general distaste for planets such as this. Aurora certainly wouldn't be upon this sweltering, backwater mud ball if she didn't have to be. But there were things far more important than her own comfort, something she had known since she was little.
Then again, perhaps it wouldn't be a good thing, if there was another Arcosian on the planet. As unlikely as it was, especially considering Earth's (admittedly vague) history of churning out powerful fighters, if one of her people or even one of her own clan had come here recently with the intent of conquering and selling it... well, it would explain the looks from the general population outside, and would certainly make her life a lot more difficult when it came to... well, anything as long as it was on Earth. Glancing to the side, she felt a burst of suspicion for the Earthling next to her. Perhaps it was nothing more than a trap? A trick? Something to trick her into letting her guard down, before they struck due to the actions of another. Aurora would certainly understand if they did so. She herself wasn't above it, after all.
Yet as her eyes met Zhalla's, she found those suspicions quickly fading. The Arcosian wasn't entirely sure what it was about the warm pools that gazed at her, but any doubt about her authenticity quickly faded in that single moment, making Aurora feel almost... embarrassed, although in a different way compared to how it was outside. Ashamed, perhaps? Before she could deliberate more however, her stomach let out a rather loud growl and she remembered that she hadn't eaten in over two days. "S-Sorry. You mentioned food?" She managed to eek out as that heat in her cheeks returned. To show such weakness in front of Earthlings...

Wow, there was, uh, quite a bit to unpack here. Dions bartenders intuition was going off the charts-! It was comparable to whenever Spider-Man's spider sense began to be overloaded by a sense of urgency or danger, although in this Saiyans situation it was more so from such a large influx of information to take in from just his first impressions of these two new patrons. These two new individuals oozed such interesting auras that it made the poor guys head spin! Though, one thing did hold him back slightly even though he normally was quite a people person. He had this odd feeling of being the dreaded third wheel in this currently two woman conversation- since they had come in to the bar with each other as company as well as were currently in conversation all the way even to just sitting down on the bar stools in front of him. Heck, even while he was having this inner thinking session to himself they seemed to be yapping away, and he wasn't even sure if they knew each other personally. It was strange for the normally sociable bartender to sudden have the cat catch his tongue and leave him wordless for a little bit. Usually, even when it came to groups or duos of people, he was able to insert himself with relative ease- making it as though he had known the people he was serving for a longer amount of time than most. Though, perhaps it had something to do with the race divide between the Arcosian and he- as every time he did something he felt as though he was annoying her or giving her the wrong impression already.
It seemed that Dion felt as though he needed to prove that his race wasn't all bad to her- that a couple bad apples don't ruin the whole batch if you caught his drift. In order to do so though, it would help if he did actually speak to the two. So, snapping himself out of his mid conversation stupor quick enough to catch Zhallas question, the quick-witted wiz with the whisk(ey) replied in a friendly tone, saying, "Don't you worry, m'dear-! We aren't just some one trick pony yknow? We've got more than just drinks, it's just that thats normally our main selling point. If you ask me though, I think the foods on par with the dazzling drink selection, so you'll be just fine with either option." He grabbed a menu from underneath the counter, as well as a separate mini one with the special drinks for the evening- some of them including fan favorites such as the "Cosmic Cosmopolitan", "Mini-Mori Mimosa", and the "Moscow Mule". All of which were, not to brag, drinks normally made by yours truly.
"Honestly, you look like a Moscow Mule kinda gal to me, both of which definitely look sharp this evening," Dion joked slightly toward Zhalla, a friendly wink signaling it was just a harmless tease.
Now with his confidence secured more, the bartender turned toward Aurora, a more sympathetic smile on his face as he too note of the flustered expression on hers. He did listen in on their conversation a bit- I mean, the guys right in front of them, what do you expect, so he did have some idea of what was going on with her. Still though, a good first impression still needed to be made, and with a grin he looked at her for a couple moments, eyes sparkling a bit as he looked her up and down- but in a more genuinely interested with a 'i wanna get to know you better' vibe than the more hateful 'leave i hate you' sensation the other stares must have give her.
"Yeah, I was right," Dion said as he finally broke his line of sight with hers for a bit, looking down at a glass he was drying for a bit, as though he was contemplating what she had just said about he meeting an Arcosian already. A small grin appeared on his face as he looked back up at her again, saying in a joking and teasing tone, "You are Arcosian-! Sorry, I haven't met one of your kind before, no, but then again if the rest of your race is like you then I bet they're all already wonderful, yeah? I don't discriminate before you ask, we're all people, right? No matter what race, power level, yadda yadda yadda..." He then set the glass on the counter, throwing the rag he was using to dry it over his shoulder as he said, "It sounds like you've been kinda frazzled by the less than warm reception by the city folk here, yeah? I apologize, Earthlings can be a bit judgemental when it comes to newcomers, especially those of whom that don't exactly look like them. I've had a couple instances myself where I've seen just how cold hearted they can be.."
His mind drifted toward his encounters with Safe, the gray-Saiyan hybrid, and then to Plague, whose heroic deeds earned him nothing but scorn.
"You don't seem like the kinda person to judge like that though, I can tell," Dion said as he then slid a menu and a drinks menu toward Aurora, the same friendly and charming grin on his face. "You seem a lot nicer than people give you credit for, yeah? Well, lemme try and repay the niceness by offering you a better welcome than most can give you through the way I know best- drink! But, I have to make sure though, bar policy."
He rolled his eyes as he said this next part in a bit of a monotone yet also mocking voice, as though he was poking fun at whomever made this rule a thing, "You are above or at the age of eighteen years, correct? If not, I must ask you to please refrain from ordering anything alcoholic and so on and so forth, jeez I sound like a rule prune already.."

Aurora's overall discomfort and anxiousness was pretty obvious to notice and while Zhalla wanted to do her best to help ease the other lady's nerves, she also didn't want to draw much attention to it either for the arcosian's sake. She knew if she herself were in her shoes she too wouldn't want attention drawn to how anxious she was. Eventually though the other women managed to get out her name which seemed to make the talking that followed a lot easier for her to do. "I hope you don't mind me saying but that's a wonderful name!" The saiyan felt the want to swish her tail happily in response but then remembered her tail was tucked and hidden away still after having hidden it earlier today. It was probably best it stayed that way for now as she knew enough to know that her race and Aurora's weren't always exactly friendly to one another.
Speaking of her race though, the arcosian would let it be known that she was actually looking for a young girl saiyan by the name of Belle which would make one of the ginger saiyan's eyebrows raise in surprise. "Oh dear" Zhalla would bite her lower lip and frown lightly, hoping the little one was alright out there, wherever she may be. She had been all around the cities today though so she tried to recall if she had seen any child saiyans while out and about, "Well, I do run a shelter for homeless and lost kids down in Central City, there's currently no Saiyan kids there but if she comes by I'll for sure let you know, I've been out a lot today too, I'll need a bit to think back but if I remember seeing a little saiyan I'll let you know!" Though part of her did wonder why the arcosian was looking for the child as well.
"Well then, welcome to Earth! I know it's probably not the most fascinating planet you've been to but I hope we can make it at least welcoming for you" Though other earthlings might make that bit rather hard. She would fall silent to let Aurora speak freely and without interruption to the man behind the bar, all the while trying her best to think back to moments throughout today where she might've seen a child who'd may have been Aurora's Belle. Nothing was coming to mind still though but hopefully that changed as the day went on. Focusing back on what they were talking about the topic seemed to be on arcosian's, "There's been some others of your kind here before yeah, haven't met many personally but some were less then friendly from what I recall" She paused for a moment to look to Aurora, "That doesn't mean all of your kind are like that though, pretty stupid for people to think any of one race are all exactly the same anyway if you asked me"
Looking back to the bartender when he spoke up in response to her question, at first the ginger saiyan would laugh lightly at being called 'm'dear' she hadn't heard that one in a while. "The name's Zhalla, what's yours?" Best to actually give him a name to work with if wanted to help give him something else to refer to her by though so that's exactly what she did. It was good to hear that the bar did a range of food and drinks though and that certainly brought a smile to her face. "Looks like we happened to stumble into the perfect bar then!" She was a little surprised at his followed up compliment which was accompanied by a wink, but took it in stride by offering a smile back, "Says the guy in a suit and tie here, if anyone here knows about looking sharp it'd for sure be you! On that note though, I'll take one of those Moscow Mule's" She'd glance to Aurora again before looking back to Dion, "Anything she'd like too, just add to my order, I'll pay for the both of us"
Zhalla nodded to the Arcosian beside her when she asked about food, "Yeah! Take a gander over the menu's if you'd like, you can pick out anything you'd like to have and I'll cover it for you" She did notice the growl coming from the arcosian's tummy too, good timing that they were about to have some food then, huh? "Sorry, I'm not entirely sure of the foods you might be used to, but I'd be more then happy to explain anything on the menu for you if you aren't sure what something is" She'd then point to the drink menu as well, "You can pick whatever you'd like of the drinks too, some of them might help calm any nerves too, what drink do you reckon she looks like?" She'd ask Dion since maybe getting the opinion of the bartender would help the arcosian choose in case she didn't know what any of the drinks were. "Oh and, got any family sized meals here by any chance? Maybe we could share something/" Only if her new friend was okay with doing that of course.
"Oh! Of course!" The other saiyan promptly reminded her of the whole age thing around drinking- it had been so long since she'd been in a bar she had almost forgotten that was a thing. She laughed again when Dion pointed out he sounded like a prune for pointing out the rule, "It's part of your job we can't really fault you for a rule you didn't make, no biggie" She'd pull out her wallet for card ID in case it was needed but Aurora on the other hand she had no idea on if she had any identification in case proof was needed. "I mean I don't doubt you are an adult-- but do you have any sort of thing with you that helps show what your age is by any chance Aurora? It can be super helpful while you're here on Earth"

"Oh. Thank you." Aurora says in response to Zhalla's compliment to her name, mild confusion flooding through her. Was a name something that was meant to be... good? Nice? Perhaps it was an earthling thing. She had never been told as such back on Arcose. "Your name is... it's good too." She tacked on to the end, trying to reciprocate the compliment. It couldn't hurt, right? She would certainly need allies and friends while she spent her time upon Earth, and these two earthlings were quite impressively powerful for their species. Although... perhaps that wasn't all of it. They were being rather nice to her, especially after she had experienced the typical earthling greeting outside. Then as Zhalla continued to talk Aurora's 'eyebrows' raised (really just her bio armour), and a small smile grew upon her face. "Being an orphanage den mother is a very noble occupation." She told her, only upping the compliment by a little bit. Typically, Arcosians didn't much care for those who were orphaned and thus outside of the system. They were an anomalous factor, and frequently left to fend for themselves. Fortunately for them, recently, as other cultures mashed with Arcosian, more and more shelters for these 'strays', as they were known, had popped up upon Arcose, much to the approval of the younger generations.
Then Aurora's small smile was quashed as Zhalla continued talking and told her that she knew nothing of a Saiyan child, her usual small frown once again returning to her face as she felt her hope die a little. She had... well, she had hoped that Belle might have been a little obvious, or that one of these people were in the know about her location due to their Power Level. Unfortunately... no such luck it seemed. "Oh, uh, yes. Well. My uh, first experiences have certainly been interesting." Aurora says in response to Zhalla's welcome to planet Earth and her comment of it not being interesting, which only sent Aurora's mind back to Mt. Frappe, the Yetis, the... the Saiyan she met there. Even the word in her mind sent an involuntary shudder through her as her tail swished out of anger and fear, almost knocking a stool over before her hand extends to keep it in place. She... wasn't entirely sure why she spared the monkey. Perhaps it was because he had been so weak? Or his words had reached her? ...She doubted it. But the alternative meant that she- stay in the moment. "I expect that my time here will be wrought with experiences." She says, both as a followup and a way to keep herself in the now. The then... was possibly too dangerous for her to touch upon.
Then a small flash of... something, she wasn't sure if it was annoyance or satisfaction, ran through her as Zhalla confirmed that there had been other Arcosians upon earth before, and they had seemingly done exactly what she had hoped they wouldn't. A small sigh would leave her at that, only really perceptible to those that were paying close attention as she allowed herself to wallow in indignant anger and pity for a small moment. Her kind... As much as she would like to deny it, the other races out there had... admittedly a good reason to dislike her people. She wasn't blind or stupid. Their cultures were so... different from Arcosian, and they didn't understand the way things worked for them when compared with the majority of other civilisations. They saw only cruel conquerors where her people saw doting fathers and honourable people.
"I am... sorry, for my predecessors' actions." She says, at the same time as Zhalla continued and stated that she believed they weren't all like that, and that... it was a bad thing to hate an entire race. Instantly Aurora's mind tried to rip its way towards that time in the mountain, where it seemed constantly drawn, but this time she was capable of shutting it down preemptively and nodding. "Yes. There are bad apples in every race." She nods in assent with the redheaded woman, speaking to herself almost as much as the other two. She needed to... to remember that. To be better than the Saiyans, and show the rest of the galaxy the true face of Arcose, not the one presented by a warmongering and greedy few. The bartender chose that moment to look towards Aurora from where he had been addressing Zhalla with a list of drinks that she had no chance in recognising, speaking up about having never met an Arcosian and doing his best to reassure her that he had no hard feelings against her or her kind. "Uh. Yes. T-thank you." She manages to get out, eyes unable to meet his as they look down towards the stained mat at her fingertips.
The Zhalla pointed out the two menus that the pair could use to order some food, and Aurora gingerly leaned forward to take a small look at the one listed with actual food, her stomach threatening to make more shameful noise once more, something she was not going to allow again. She had shown enough weakness for the foreseeable future, thank you very much. Opening up the menu with something approaching eagerness, she felt her hopes (and face) fall as she realised that... she had no idea what any of these things were. While she knew she should consider herself lucky to even be able to read the language of a pretty backwater planet that was technically uncontacted, she still felt close to hopeless as she realised what she would have to do. "I-" She starts, before swallowing as he head dips. "I don't know what any of these are." She murmurs, embarrassed, before nodding in assent and agreement as Zhalla talks about getting a 'Family meal', whatever that was. Probably just a larger version in order to feed... mm. No. Stop. She couldn't, wouldn't think of that for now.
Then, as the bartender spoke up about her seeming a lot nicer than her people's reputation was meant to be, she gave him a small smile of appreciation, cheering up slightly. Of course, this was marred slightly when, for some reason, he asked the pair of women if they were over the age of 18. Aurora... wasn't sure what that meant, or why that mattered, but Zhalla reacted as if it was to be expected and was normal, so she didn't raise any questions. What concerned her more, however, was when Zhalla pulled out what looked to be some sort of identification card and asked Aurora if she had any proof of age. That... was unexpected, but before Aurora could answer in the negative she remembered something. "Scouter, please find me the age of a 9.5 Rotation Cycle Arcosian in Earth Rotation Cycles." She said to her computer as she quickly turned it back on again. A small loading circle appeared for a split moment, before the number 18.72 appeared on the screen. "I... am over 18, yes. However, this is all the evidence I have." Aurora continues, handing the scouter to the man in the suit who's name she still didn't know.

"Oh, stop it, you're making me blush," Dion said in reply to Zhalla as the conversation continued between the three of them. He was feeling some pretty good vibes with these two! Upon hearing that the Saiyan woman ran an orphanage for lost and parentless little boys and girls though, a bright light-bulb flashed inside of his now illuminated mind. He knew where he saw her from-! Once upon a time a couple weeks ago on his way to one of his bars he had spotted some kinda building that was called an orphanage. Now, living in a part of Vegeta where orphanages weren't exactly high in number, naturally, he was curious as to what such a building might entail. So, as he continued onto his bar, he asked around a bit, and found out that orphanages were places where, well, orphans went when they had nowhere else to go. The place gave them both shelter, food, and comfort as they waited for the right person to come along and invite them into their own family as one of their own. Dion found the whole idea pretty amazing, and was moved by the fact that someone had such a big heart to put in the time and effort needed to run such a large kind of project all by themselves. Since specifically when he had asked about the orphanage that he had seen he was told that it was ran by one person, a red headed tall as living hell Saiyan woman named Zhalla. That's where he had heard her from!
However, the bartender wasn't stupid- it was clear that Aurora was most likely unaware of either Dion or Zhalla being of Saiyan heritage, and if he were to mention such a detail now he might scare her off or even worse, cause some sort of altercation to break out in his poor little bar. So, choosing to ignore the whole Saiyan part, Dion snapped his fingers once Zhalla was done mentioning her Peter Pan like occupation, saying in a surprised yet quite joyful tone as he looked at Zhalla with a look of admiration and respect, "That's where I've heard you from! You're the one who runs that one orphanage down near a bar I usually act as bartender at once in a while! That's a pretty respectable position you've taken up honestly- I'm quite impressed. It must be difficult supervising all those lil rascals, right? I'm sure they're all angels though, they must be- and I'm glad someones giving them a chance at life when the entire worlds seemingly turned their back to them most of the time, yknow? How does it work anyways? You get any days off, have anyone to switch out with? If you need a helping hand at any time at all, I'm free most of the time, and I'd love to help out the community once in a while in a way other than food and drink to those already fortunate enough to have the money to pay for such needs, so. In any way, let me know!"
Upon Aurora mentioning offhandedly that she had no damn clue what the heck any of the items on the menu were, he grinned slightly- adding onto Zhallas suggestion of getting a family meal by saying in a tone of more reassurance, "It's really alright to ask if you don't know, yknow? I don't mind answering any questions you got at all, so there's no need to feel embarrassed at all. I mean, when I first started my bartending gig I didn't have a clue as to what I was getting myself into, and I looked like a pretty big fool tryna conserve my pride and not ask for any help, so lemme do ya a favor and tell ya that there's no need for that here. You're in friendly company! No need to stress your pretty head about any little thing."
And as Aurora asked if her scouter identifying her age was enough, along with Zhalla mentioning that she'd pay for the both of them, Dion put both of his hands up in a nonchalant manner- saying, "Hey hey hey, it's cool- Aurora, was it, right? I believe you, you're all good- no need to worry about it. Besides, for all I know Arcosian years prolly don't translate well to Earthling years so the boss of this fine establishment can't sue me for nothing anyways. And as for the whole paying thing, yeah, it's fine- I'll cut you two some slack and hook you up with whatever you'd like for the low price of nada, zilch, nothing at all! Since I know your budget might be tight, Zhalla, and I'd prefer you use that money for the kids instead of handing it to me, and it is your first time here on Earth, Aurora, and I wanna make sure your first few encounters with its normally lovely people are as good as they can get. So you're both all good."
"And, as for what drink...?" Dion thought for a moment as he made a glass mug appear out of nowhere into his hand, a trick he loved doing to impress both sober and drunken patrons, saying, "I think this lovely lady right here looks in the mood for a Mini-Mori Mimosa, howsabout that-?"

When thanked for the compliment to her name the ginger Saiyan would smile back- though Aurora seemed a little confused? Regardless the arcosian would return the compliment, maybe it was something she was still learning? "Oh- Yeah thank you. It can get pretty rough sometimes but it's all worth it in the end" Zhalla would smile again, noble wasn't a compliment she usually got but she'd take it for sure. "There's even a little one of your kind there at the moment actually, they're a lovely little kid"
When Aurora's expression dropped at hearing that Zhalla hadn't seen the saiyan child the arcosian was looking for, she would give the other lady a gentle nudge. "Hey try not to worry too much, there's plenty of earthling people who would do their best to get her back to safe hands once they saw that she was lost, we'll find her!" She would reassure her giving a matching smile to go with it. Aurora's tail swish that almost knocked over another of the stools would catch her eye- Though she wasn't sure what kind of thought caused the discomfort. "I hope all those experiences are pleasant and exciting!"
"No need to be sorry, their actions aren't your's to bare the burden of" Zhalla would give a firm nod, glad that Aurora seemed to agree that there were bad bunches in every race too. Looking back to the bartender she'd look a little surprised to hear he had heard of her before, "O-oh? Really? I had no idea people spoke of me or anything like that" It felt a little odd to be recognized for it much at all really let alone admired. "You've got another bar down there? I'll have to drop in sometime there too then" She smiled before continuing, "Oh they're rascals for sure but they're my angels, it can be difficult but it's all worth it, you know?" When he started asking how it worked and the like though she looked quite surprised at his interest. "Oh- Uh- Well I'm the main carer after taking over for my old carer there, but the older kids there help out as best they can and mind the little ones for me whenever I'm out, I don't really have any set person to switch out or anything. No days off really- Don't have the time for entire days off just hours at a time really!" When he offered to help out she'd raise her hands and wave them lightly, "Oh you don't have to do that, that's very sweet of you though, I'm sure you've got enough on your plate though with the bar's right?"
Turning back to Aurora the arcosian looked a little stumped again as she pointed out that she didn't know what anything on the menu was- The bartender chimed up to help which Zhalla would point to him to before adding, "He's right, you're welcome to ask anything and there's no shame in not knowing things! We're here to help!" The thought of Dion as a younger bartender trying to do everything without asking for help was a little amusing but Zhalla opted to give him a thankful nod for being helpful rather then to comment on his past. His last remark about Aurora not needing to stress her pretty head made her look between the two for a moment though before she gave a sly sort of smile as she glanced aside- Only Dion would be able to really catch it but she'd offer no explanation to the look...
When it came to the identification, the look on Aurora's face said plenty- She didn't seem too clued in on what was going on or on what they meant. Though she did eventually clue in enough to ask her scouter for proof of age. "Think that's plenty of proof Aurora! Nice thinking!" She'd put a hand on the Arcosian's shoulder before explaining, "It's only needed because a lot of the drinks here can be harmful for still-developing brains-- Like Earthling kids have, it's best they don't have these sorts of drinks until they're a certain age where it's much less harmful for them, you know? That's why 18 and up is okay but anything under isn't" She did her best to try and explain it but she was sure there was more to be explained still regardless. "It's still not good for adults to have too much but not nearly as harmful as a kid doing the same"
Zhalla looked a little shocked to hear they'd be getting whatever they wanted for nothing- not a single zeni, "Are you... Are you sure about that? Can I pay you back in some other way? This is very sweet of you but I'd feel terrible to lose you any business or earnings" Needless to say she was not at all accustomed to taking any sort of help or kindness for free like this- It made her unsure-- Did she owe him something afterwards? Was there a catch? He seemed sure that they were all good and she could understand the offer being extended to Aurora but... The ginger saiyan would rub behind her head a look away for a moment or two but she was quickly drawn back to the bartender by his trick which she couldn't help but to smile at. "What's ya name, hotshot? We need something to call ya by afterall!- Unless you prefer nicknames that is, can't promise you'll like em all though!" When he mentioned the drink suggestion for Aurora though she'd let out a soft 'Ooh', "That sounds fitting- A good Mimosa is always rather lovely if you asked me"
