Aurora made her way through the forest, leaves crunching beneath her bare feet as grass springs from between her toes. The Arcosian glanced around at the world around her, barely taking in the sights and sounds around her. The sheer vibrancy of the leafy world around her was… somewhat jarring, she had to admit, especially when in comparison to the forests found upon her home world of Arcose. An ice planet rarely had forests, and what little there were were filled with grey, half dead trees and ferocious beasts. They were unforgiving places of life and death, where the trees reached into the sky and were as stubborn as the animals that haunted them. Of course, she had still visited them, whether it was with her friends or her… well, she had visited them, and thus was well enough acquainted with them to be in something approaching shock as she stared around at the Earthling forest. In comparison, this world’s forests were almost a mocking parody of the ones she had known as she had grown up. They were vibrant and fully of life, whether from the harmonious melody that rang through the air as animals went about their day, or from the sheer, almost neon colour of the trees and grass around her. The Arcosian didn't find herself paying too much attention to the world outside of herself however, as her mind raced. Each step within the confines of the forest simply mounted her anxiety and nervousness. From what Zhalla and Dion had told her, this was one of the few confirmed places that Belle visited, and so if she was going to have a chance at finding her princess then this was the closest thing to perfect that she could get her hands on. But now that she was actually here, so close to Belle, to the beginning of... a lot of things, her mind was racing a mile a minute. What would she say to her, if she even found her? Should she be stern and commanding? She would just be a simple child, though. So perhaps try soft and gentle? But Aurora needed her to understand that Arcose needed her. That her people needed her. Then again... would she care? She wasn't Arcosian. That thought brought Aurora to a stop for a moment, before she shook her head to try and clear it. Of course she would. Why wouldn't she? They were her people. She was their princess. The purple Arcosian brought a hand up to pinch her brow, as she brought her other hand up to pound forcefully against a nearby tree. A resounding crack echoed throughout the immediate forest, silencing all bird cries at once as the tree began to slowly tilt and fall, branches snapping as they caught with others. Quickly Aurora moved into action and wrapped her arms around the base of the broken part, heaving backwards to try and keep the trunk where it was. It was fortunate she had plenty of natural strength, as she used it to force the trunk back into the position it was and would keep it there until it healed over. If trees did that. She wasn't quite sure. Breathing a sigh of relief, she turns around to walk away, before pausing once more and glancing back towards the wounded tree. Why... had she done that? What did she care that a single tree fell in a forest full of them? It made no sense to bother, and yet she had. Odd. Perhaps her experiences with the earthlings before this had coloured her perspective somewhat, and influenced her. Aurora... wasn't sure how she felt about that. But now wasn't the time to dwell upon something like that. Right now, she needed to find Belle. To find the key to her freeing her, their, people. Looking a qround, her eyes noticed the light dappled floor of the forest, rays of pure light shining through the tree canopy above her. Glancing up, Aurora did her best to peer through the wall of green towards the star that Earth orbited. It was... just before midday, if she was judging correctly. She had been here for a small while, then, but the thought only served to lessen her omnipresent frown. After all, it was admittedly beautiful for something that belonged to a dirt ball, and midday simply meant that if she was going to encounter Belle, it would be around now. But... where would she find her? Aurora's frown returned as she thought. If she came here often, then that meant that it was most likely to a specific location, but where? The arcosian began to float gently up into the air, piercing the tree canopy and gazing about the top of the forest for notable landmarks. Aurora's mind worked furiously as she tried to narrow down locations with what little information she had upon Belle. The child had to be hurting still, after the loss of Lord Chill. Aurora... knew how that felt. So odds are what she was looking for was something to help with that. She was also a small child, and a girl at that, so nothing like a cave or the more dangerous parts of the forest. So that left... her eyes alighted upon a small meadow in the distance. A multicoloured oasis in an ocean of green, it was dotted with flowers and looked about as idyllic as anything else Aurora could imagine. If she was going to find belle anywhere... it would be there. Tilting herself in the air, the Arcosian made her way towards the field. It only took a few seconds to close the distance, and a few seconds more for her to touch down gently upon the edge of the field. She had certainly been right, the place was beyond peaceful. A gentle breeze rocked through the flowers that covered the meadow, carrying with it the multitude of scents and a few petals that twirled and twisted within the air. Slowly, Aurora began to make her way towards the centre of the field, where she saw a small figure. Her heart raced with each step, even as her eyes refused to blink at the sight of the lost princess. She looked... Aurora wasn't sure. But there was something there, deeper, that she was sure about. This little girl was hurt, perhaps even more hurt than Aurora herself, and all of a sudden the fear flooded from Aurora as she took the final step to be within hearing range. " Hello Belle. I've been looking for you." Belle

Belle’s PL: 61,000 Aura Block: Active (Set to 100)
After her little celebration with Tarch, Belle needed a little time to herself. She had wandered around until eventually finding herself in a meadow not dissimilar from the one where she had met that Namekian named Chime so long ago. It felt like a long time ago, but really, it had just been a few months. Her uncle has just rescued her from Mister Lord Chill after months of captivity with him. She almost wondered whether it would have been better if she had stayed with Mister Lord Chill at that time. If her Uncle had never found her, she would have never been put through hell. They wouldn’t have died. Issuing a soft little sigh, Belle flicked her tail at Daisy who was curled up in her lap. Daisy was one of the few things that Mister Lord Chill had left her. Looking at Daisy made her think of better days. It made her miss Mister Lord Chill. But! Soon, she would get him back. Really soon. Her sour expression brightened up at that thought. After all, she had just taken the first real step toward it! She had found a dragon ball! Now, she just needed to find the other five and have Tarch take care of that mean Garon guy. Rubbing her aching side, Belle wondered if she would ever be back to normal. Fighting sure hurt. Breathing in the peaceful scent of flowers, Belle actually focused on her rather serene surroundings. She was smack dab in the middle of a very pretty field of wildflowers. She wondered if she made flower crowns if Tarch or Chromo would wear them. Maybe not, but it was still relaxing to do. With her tell tale telekinetic green glow in her eyes, Belle plucked some flowers by their stems and tied them into chains. It wasn’t long before a chain of flowers encircled her in multiple loops. She was really careful to be gentle with her telekinesis. She didn’t want to pull it too hard and break it. It was only when she sensed an approaching aura did Belle look up from her work. She didn’t recognize the aura, but when she spotted the owner, a whole host of conflicting feels bubbled up inside of her. It was an Arcosian. Arcosians that she had gotten to know had always been very nice to her. Mister Lord Chill. Mister Aizu. But a lot of them hadn’t cared much for her when she wandered through the streets. They hadn’t said anything outright to her because of Mister Lord Chill. But… she didn’t get that feeling from this Arcosian. She got a sort of anxious, nervous feeling from her though? Although, Belle could have been misinterpreting her aura. Grabbing her crutches, Belle used her telekinesis to lift herself to her feet and leaned heavily on the crutch as she normally did. She was still keeping the massive chain of flowers aloft as well, but she was wondering if she shouldn’t put them down now. She tilted her head to the side at the mention of the Arcosian having been looking for her. Why? She would have thought that the Arcosians blamed her for the death of Mister Lord Chill. She certainly blamed herself for it. “You have…? Why? I thought… I thought you all didn’t like me. Did you come to get revenge…?”The Arcosian didn’t seem aggressive though, which only confused her even more. She had no idea why this one was here and had been looking for her. Belle frowned in confusion. She didn’t really understand this at all.

Aurora frowned almost immediately at the sight of Belle before her. This... was nothing like how she had imagined it to be. Sure, the flower petal necklaces fit her knowledge of the happy girl the Arcosian public had seen, but everything else was just... just wrong. This Belle was so different from what she had expected it was almost jarring. There was no smile, nor was there any of the responses you'd expect from an eight year old. Instead, there was a hesitant and careful question, asking Aurora if she was there for revenge. Revenge. The arcosian's brow furrowed further as she looked down at the child, the child in crutches, trying to understand or even comprehend exactly what she was seeing. What had happened to her? She had left after Lord Chill's death, but... how did she end up like this?
The Arcosian opened her mouth to speak, but found nothing was coming out. Of course, that wasn't because she didn't have anything to say. Quite the opposite in fact. There were far too many, each one scrambling through her mind to try and be the first to be asked. What happened? Why are you in crutches? Where have you been all this time? What did you mean 'Revenge'? Have other Arcosians come for it? Why? Aurora found herself overwhelmed once more by the feeling of her mind running in loops. She just... she didn't understand. This child was in CRUTCHES, ASKING IF SHE WAS HERE FOR REVENGE! WHAT. HAD. HAPPENED?
However, Aurora put in care to keep these rampaging, raging thoughts from her face as she looked silently down towards the child. "I-" She began, before stopping once more as her eyes noticed movement behind Belle. Glancing towards it, she realised that they weren't alone. Some green... thing, with tentacles, had seemingly been accompanying her princess on her sojourn out to this field. Aurora... wasn't quite sure what to make of it honestly. Judging by the fact that it seemed to be almost protective of Belle, the way it clung near her, she was going to guess that it was a pet. She supposed that was a good thing. It meant that Belle wasn't completely alone, although that raised the question on how she had been surviving all this time. Perhaps there were others like her? Hm. A question for later. Right now, there were FAR more immediate concerns.
"I... No." She started, forcing a small smile onto her face in order to show that she meant no harm. Kneeling to the ground in a bowed posture to be at the little girl's height, she made sure not to move towards Belle. The Arcosian didn't want to scare her off, or make her think she meant anything other than friendliness. "I'm here..." She trailed off once more, eyes widening as she realised that despite having so long to mull over and debate how she was going to greet the target of her goals, she had absolutely no idea what to say now that the moment had come. She wasn't amazing with non-arcosians in the first place, she had learnt this. How did she convey what she was trying to say?
"My name is Aurora. Aurora of the clan Arctos." Aurora began, closing her eyes in an attempt to both gather her thoughts and avoid Belle's hesitant gaze. Yet she opened them before she continued talking. She couldn't afford to shy away from this. She needed Belle to understand her. "You won't know of me. I was a lower class citizen on Arcose when Lord Chill ruled and you were there. But... I'm here because I need you. Because your... Because your people need you. Arcose has fallen to the Saiyans. They rule it through force now, with a false Queen on its throne. On your throne." A breath rattles through Aurora as her heart beats a mile a minute. She needed to explain everything to her, but she wasn't sure what she would do if Belle rejected her and her pleas. She very well couldn't take on the entirety of the Saiyan Kingdom on her own.
"I know you're young. And I know that after the death of Lord Chill, you may never want to step foot on Arcose again. If so... tell me, and I'll leave you in peace. But, if you care for the people of Arcose like they do for you, like Lord Chill did, then I beg of you. Help us. If it's you, we the people will be happy to follow. You are our princess. You are our rightful ruler, not the pretender." Her eyes closed then, as she waits for Belle's response. Panic flooded through her like a wave. She had absolutely no idea what she would do, if Belle rejected her plea for aid. Perhaps she went back to Dion and Zhalla? Ask them if they have any ideas? But they didn't seem the fighting type, despite their power levels.
Why was it only now that the thought of Belle saying no was crossing her mind? She could have had plans in place, or contacts, or anything, but no. Instead, the course of both of their lives hinged upon the answer that this little girl gave. A little girl who may have gone through even more than Aurora did, and yet still found the time to weave flower necklaces and spend time with her pet. A little girl who's first thoughts upon meeting a stranger weren't of confusion, but of fear and slight reproach, wondering if they had come there to exact revenge upon a child. The very thought of it, of what she would have had to go through to reach such a stage before she had even hit double digits in terms of age, made Aurora's body shake with something that decidedly wasn't fear or anxiety or nerves. No, it was far more powerful than that, and a feeling she was well acquainted with. Even if she did reject her, the Arcosian would find those that had done this to Belle. And they would pay.

The Arcosian seemed really confused, which only added to Belle’s own confusion. She had come here looking for her, right? Usually, people had something in mind when they said that. Tilting her head to one side uncertainly, Belle watched as the Arcosian had a few false starts. She could see the Arcosian’s aura fluctuating pretty wildly. She was feeling and probably thinking a lot of things. That much Belle could tell pretty easily. The one thing she couldn’t tell was why. To Belle, the Arcosians had plenty of reasons to dislike her. She was a Saiyan, for one. Not only that, but one who had been named Princess. Not that it had lasted long at all. She was also the reason why it hadn’t lasted long. She was the reason why Mister Lord Chill died.
Eventually, after kneeling down and mulling it over for a little bit, Aurora spoke and introduced herself. She didn’t know her personally, but Belle recognized the name of the family, but Aurora hadn’t expected her to know her. Arctos was the name of one of the working class families on Arcose. Belle had done a lot of studying under Mister Lord Chill, so she knew that much at least. Only, what she said next threw Belle for a loop. What? She wanted… Belle to go back? The Saiyan Kingdom had taken the throne? Well, she supposed that would have happened pretty swiftly after Mister Vocado killed Mister Lord Chill. But… Aurora had said queen. So maybe it was Kayen or that red haired Saiyan? But Mister Vocado wanted to be king… so why…?
Frowning, Belle forced herself to pay attention when Aurora continued. It was all so strange. The people of Arcose cared about her? That confused her greatly. She may have been the rightful ruler as Mister Lord Chill’s adopted daughter but… it seemed like Aurora was being really sincere. Belle certainly didn’t dislike Arcosians. Members of their kind had accepted her more readily and with more open arms than hers ever had. Tarch didn’t exactly count because he was a Saiyan from Earth. She had never been asked for help before. She had always been the one asking. Maybe… maybe this was one way to… to repay Mister Lord Chill for all he had done for her. Mister Aizu too maybe. Belle knit her hands together.
She had been taught for most of her life how the nobility should behave and what their responsibilities were. Belle wasn’t sure if she could ever care for other Saiyans from the Kingdom again. Not without fear and mistrust, which was not how a noble was supposed to regard their subjects. But… if the Arcosians really liked her… and wanted her to help… Then… she didn’t want to turn away from them. She didn’t want to turn away because she was scared of the Kingdom. They had been hurt by the kingdom too.
“O-Okay. I’ll… I’ll help… if you really want me to… and if you’re sure that… everyone is okay with me…”
With that, Belle knew that she was going to have to do a lot of studying and a lot of calling up on people that could help them. They needed a plan first and foremost. It was almost like space chess or that battle game that her uncle had played with her that one time. She needed to figure out all of the stuff and then figure out a plan. But… first she had to finish things here. Fix her mistakes. Bring back Mister Lord Chill and her Uncle Kalabas. Find the Dragon Balls.
“But… um… I have to stay here for a while… I’m looking for these things called the Dragon Balls… they can grant wishes. I’m trying to wish Mister Lord Chill and someone else I care about back to life. I need to do this… before anything else!”

Aurora still wasn't sure of if she had said the right thing, the right string of words to try and convey what she was feeling, what she wanted the little girl before her to know and understand. The Arcosian wouldn't know what to do if she had failed, the very thought of it sending pangs of fear and dread throughout her entire being. Her tail, as was usual, reacted to her emotions by increasing the rate at which is swept over the ground, trampling and crushing the flowers beneath its heavy weight. It was only through a not insignificant amount of control that Aurora managed to will it to stop not wishing to hurt any of her chances with Belle by accidentally damaging this place which she seemed to value. Said small child seemed to be thinking things over, and Aurora was overcome with the irrational urge to place her hands over Belle's as the little one clasps hers together. She gave off the... the same vibe as her brother did. Had. But... there was something different about it. Even in the looks the little girl gave, the various expressions of surprise where there shouldn't have been any, the small motions, as if tired and wary...
It all pointed to the same thing Aurora had seen and deduced from before. This child had lived... a hard life, she knew it. While she hadn't expected her princess to be over Lord Chill, Aurora understood that there had to have been other occurrences, more reasons aside from that single devastation to produce what stood before her. Forget holding her hands, the Arcosian wanted to try and wrap her whole arms around the child and her crutch. That particular detail still nagged at her, and her brow somehow manages to furrow further as she considers how that had to have happened. She knew earth wasn't exactly safe, what with her encounter in the mountains with the Saiyan, 'Yakone' apparently, and those furry 'yeti' creatures. She also doubted that the small Saiyan in front of her was as strong as she was. Then again, the power she was displaying... perhaps there was more to it than she had seen? Belle certainly needed to have an extremely fine degree of control in order to weave and keep such flower necklaces floating above her like that. Aurora wished she had brought her scouter for this meeting, but at the time of preparation she had elected not to, afraid that the noises it makes or an alert would distract her and ruin the moment. Tension and setting were important in requests such as this, after all.
Then Belle began to speak, and the moment her mouth opened Aurora braced herself for the rejection. After all, despite everything she said... her people weren't technically Belle's, and despite her moments with Lord Chill there hadn't bee all too much interaction with her species. Feelings of panic and devastation began to well up from within the 18 year old as she tries to think, desperately, of what to do when it inevitably happened. But then... it didn't. Quite the opposite, in fact. Instead of shattering Aurora's plan and dreams, casting her to the side, she found Belle assenting. Saying yes. She would- She would help. That lump in her throat began to return, and Aurora's face screwed up as she realised that this was the beginning. No tears flowed from her, even as her body rocked with barely muted sobs. She could... she could help. Her family, they would be avenged. She had the first key to the plan. The very idea of it was enough to spur her onward, just as Belle would continue to say that she needed to stay for a while. She didn't much hear the rest, as she rocked forward and wrapped her arms around the small girl with a loud "THANK YOU!".
"T-that's okay. I-I need to stay too." She manages to get out from where she was struggling against her own body and logical part of her mind. To show such emotion was counter intuitive to what she was trying to do, trying to show herself as the strong Arcosian she wanted to be. That she was. But the... the assent from Belle, from the one who could bring everything together? That was enough to break those particular barriers down for the moment. "I need to grow." Aurora continued, swallowing and getting used to talking even as he throat threatened to clam up. "Get stronger, in order to help them." Her people... they would be free from the Saiyans. Her eyes hardened as her elation and joy began to recede, instead replaced by a feeling of absolute and complete determination. She now had an ally. Her first of many, she planned. Earth was seemingly teeming with powerful beings, and each of them would either work with her or back out of the way by the time she was done.

Belle wasn’t sure what to do when Aurora wrapped her arms around her in a big hug. She just froze. When was the last time someone had held her like this? Tarch? Mister Lord Chill? Uncle Kalabas? The bitter emotions heaped up one on top of the other. She bit her lip and let out a deep breath. It hurt… it hurt to remember these things, but… Tarch would want her to feel… and not just block it all out, right? To remember? She wasn’t sure. She looked down and away at the ground.
As she did that, Aurora spoke about getting stronger to help her people. Their people. Belle patted and rubbed the emotional arcosian’s back gently, wondering if that were the best way to go about it. If she thought back to that time with the dragon and the wish… Hurting people wasn’t going to fix things. Tarch would say that, and Belle believed it. It wasn’t the right thing to do, and that Belle had almost… really hurt people… had been wrong. Even if they were Saiyans.
Belle still didn’t like the Saiyans anymore. Even though she was still one of their breed. A purebred Saiyan even. She wondered if she had been all twisted up in ways that she didn’t even know about because of them. It was sort of hard to tell, but she guessed that wish was proof enough. Still, she wanted to be better than the rest of them. She wanted to be like Tarch. Someone… someone bright and full of light.
“Th-there, there… um. Miss Aurora…? We… we shouldn’t hurt anyone… if we’re going to do this… so um… once I get the people I care about back… We’re going to have to be strong enough… to know when to… not fight… ok?”
Getting them back… Belle wondered if Mister Lord Chill would just let things be at that. When he was alive, he had been pretty set on finishing the war. Letting the cards fall where they may. If he came back… would he see things in a new light? Maybe she could convince him and Uncle Kalabas to… get along. Unlike last time. Maybe all she had lacked then… was the strength to convince them to stop? Her lip wavered into a little pout as she felt tears drip from her face onto her arm. If she had been stronger then… maybe she wouldn’t have been left alone.
