"Dammit!" Kraktus blasted a nearby mountain with a powerful wave of ki demolishing the top of the mountain. What was left rained down around him his angry still not even contained. He had lost it all it seemed. With Aizu's death he could not find any of the old warriors of the WTF. It was if they were so loyal to him they would refuse to find him. He was always better then that roach! Why was no one coming to follow him? He was the only one worth following on this rock. If anyone wanted to bring true evil to this universe he was the only being that could be followed. No one could challenge him in that regard. His eyes narrowed, it must of been that bastard Vocado. He and that Yangcong fellow must of been gathering an army to attack the Kingdom. He seethed he'd make that saiyan payed taking his rightful place. With the fall of the WTF everyone should flocked to the general. He was the mightiest leader of evil that the universe would ever see. He was the most evil man that every existed and the man to bring the entire universe to its knee's. "RAHHH!" His purple aura surrounded him as the area began to be blown apart once more as the former General keep venting his anger.
When the silence of Kraktus' rampage came to settle, it was swiftly dispelled by the sound of slow, loud clapping. "Bravo," sounded a deep and hoarse voice, seeping with clear sarcasm and contempt despite the impassive monote that carried it "if only we saiyans were as easy to put down, eh? Well, you see-" Kalabas, the unfriendly ghost, appeared from behind the fleetman trailed by an entourage of shapeless little spectres. They came to him like moths to a flame, seeking his protection like mindless little remoras... It was just as well to him, as long as they didn't stand in his way "You see, yes? One cannot be too sure... After all, word is that you were beaten senseless by the Queen. A lout, that one, but awfully strong, no? Perhaps too strong? She slashed my eye, once. Reckon I was the first of the Kingdom to be tread upon in her climb for power... Hardly an honor, but what is a man to do? Fight?" like any skilled orator he allowed his audience some time to take in his words, maybe even throw some insults and ki blasts.
"Sometimes. Warriors like us, and this I came to realize through great pains of mine, must learn when stubbornness becomes vapid stupidity, when honor sours into blind hatred... Hatred is a fine tool, to be sure, I would be partaking in it amply had things turned out the way I intended. Then again, do they ever?" the ghost neared, unhesitant as he placed his hand on the general's shoulder pad "I hate you, with every fiber of my being. Even now that my thought has been made transcendent by death, you are one of the few people I would rather see the world without... No just this one, mind, but the one after. Awfully warm, although the locals are quite nice."
He reared his hand, having fulfilled his truest goal. The other two had some shades, but were by and large genuine. "Perhaps, but only perhaps, I do not hate you as much as I ought to, nor as I did. Pity, more like. You are routed, beaten, with none flocked to your flag because none were truly loyal to the Fleet... or even you."
"I bring you this one thing, this one time. Amnesty. Surrender, and I myself will vouch for your life to the Queen. Let bygones be bygones... the Fleet could not be any more gone, even. So, what do you say?" the saiyan offered a firm handshake "Shall we begin anew?"

Kraktus paused as he heard the clapping of an unknown figure. He turned his head to see the former warrior Kalabas who now was merely a shadow of his former self. It was pathetic to see how far the warrior had fallen since their battles. He respected his smarts but that was all. Plus being a ghost reminded him of Banshee and anyone who did that would draw his anger. Viens formed on his forehead as he thought of just blasting the ghostly warrior with all his strength but he held back. Seems he was here to talk and he'd give him the courtesy of speaking his final words. "I didn't expect you. I am no mood test me and you will be lest without a soul as well as a body." Kraktus turned to face Kalabas.
When he spoke once more his eyes narrowed. Him crushed by Kayen? He sneered. "Then those who made such a story will end up in a grave. I fought Aizu and Kayen at once. During the fighting, I took down Aizu and during the great distraction I made my cunning escape from the battlefield. I could defeat Kayen alone but with Nashua, yourself and Cress in the backwing why would I stay. I only came to cause chaos and I achieved that." Every word dripping with anger. Even if it was all true he didn't like the prospect of having to flee a battle. Yet his life, for now, was more important when he could bring so much more chaos in the future.
Then the saiyan went on about how Kayen was just too strong and she even cut out his eye once. Her power was monstrous and he already knew that. Yet, she was still weaker then Nashua. He wondered why the other saiyan had not tried to take the other throne? Guess Kayen had something hidden or she just didn't want it. He then explained how he hated him and even grabbed his shoulder pad. Kraktus had half a mind to swat the handoff but just stared at Kalabas. "Hate me, of course, that makes sense. So why come here you want to kill me or something. From the power, I saw I'd crush you into the wind." What was the man doing here Kraktus was clueless on the matter. He didn't like to be in the dark about things.
Kraktus confusion turned to anger as Kalabas explained that in truth he really felt Pity. The veins on his forehead bulged and it seemed they may burst out of his own skin. "Pity?" Pitted by another man. Who would dare feel pity for him! He was a god! He was the strongest and more crafty being to ever be born in the cosmos. Even the gods above would tremble at his might. His face curled into an inhuman frown as the man went on telling him he was offering him the chance to surrender to Kayen. "Offer my life to you to offer to the queen?" Kraktus sneered. Kraktus began to float up a chaotic purple aura surrounding him. "It seems your asking to die once more Kalabas. I don't need your pity. I will be the one to crush Kayen and her kingdom. I am going to bring the war that will change the universe. I have no other destiny. I shackled myself to the Fleet and to Aizu. Both put me down and wanted me to not be what I was. Meant to lead all the forces of chaos to crush all others. Now I stand alone and you want me to hand my life away. You arrogant Saiyan!" Kraktus swung his hand down a purple blast flying out to turn the Saiyan to ash if he could!
Auber flew around the clean skies of Earth, he knows he hasn't been very active ever since he had that conversation with the toad and the Stargoon, both of who are large scumbags who most likely only ever cared about themselves, quite like him, he supposed, he was never one to have a good heart, everything he did was either to serve the Kingdom or to benefit him, honour and heroics were long dead, and the ugly truth was something that people continue to deny, basking in their own optimistic ignorance that the cosmos required costumed superhumans who fought for justice and innocence.
Yes, this sort of naivete was something Auber despised, with every fiber of his being, and yet, evil itself is also another factor of morality that may surprise him, there are evil individuals no doubt, after all, warlocks like Xylo terrorized the era before his own, Zucceta was the Queen of an brutal, expansive and aggressive Empire, and that is to say that monsters continue to exist today, whether it was the World Trade Fleet, a political superpower of scum and villainy, or the Saiyan Kingdom themselves, who are starting to take a path that it's ancestor took.
But then, there are people who do evil in blind stupidity, who bite off more than they can chew because they have a severe case of egomania, their narcissism so high that they most likely consider themselves gods when they are mere insects in the face of the cosmic infinite, one wrong move and their delusions would crumble to the harsh reality.
Auber was sure Kraktus fit in the former, for all he has done, for all he has boasted, and for all the scum acts he has commited, Kraktus was a fish out of water, ironic both in the comedic and literal sense, a general for the Fleet, someone who should have been powerful, someone who should have an army under his boot, all alone.
"Is this your solution, Kraktus? Throw a tantrum everytime you don't get what you want? is the entity behind those red aquatic eyes really nothing more than an infant carrying twice his weight? Because that's the sort of man I see before me, not a competent general who should be working towards his goal, not a powerful being who striked fear into the hearts of lower life-forms with the intimidation of a king, not a cunning member of the Fleet conspiring and plotting against those around him, no, what I see before me is a child.
A child who's plans didn't go the way he intended, a child who's toys were broken before he could play with them, a child who's dreams of superiority and domination were ruined, a child who only now is realizing reality.
The person I see before me is someone who tried to be a king but never left an impression bigger than a peasant."
Auber finished his speech, to be fair he himself didn't exactly know what it was that Kraktus was so agitated about, but judging from the sort of person he is, the motivations he both implied and hinted, the way he carried himself, and certainly the way events have been playing, Auber deduced that Kraktus lost control.
Another look around the scene he just arrived in shows that.. is that..? Kalabas? "Duke? Is that you?" Auber asked for confirmation on his identity with a tone betraying incredulity, why was he incorporeal? was he a ghost? did that mean... Kalabas was killed..?
From the looks of it, Kraktus was about to battle Kalabas, perhaps the Duke ticked the Squid off again, even in death, Kalabas had a silver tongue that few could rival, as for Kraktus who is was now powering up, Auber wasn't sure if he should ask the Duke for assistance, was he even any use to him in that form?
AUBER - "DO I GO LEFT WHERE NOTHING IS RIGHT? OR RIGHT WHERE NOTHING IS LEFT?"
Kalabas sighed. He was certain that any other Fleetman would have considered the offer, or at least not turn on him so quickly, but it was as if Kraktus actually believed his talks of godhood and superiority. The Duke removed his hand, unimpressed as he readied himself "Tentaclehead, the least you could do is know better than to threaten a ghost with death. Did you know that once you achieve this state of mine you are never truly alive nor truly dead? It is all very complicated to your tiny cephalopod brain, I am sure, so busy as it is with chaos of yours. Truth is, your chaos is purposeless, worse still, it is useless, in five years your name and deeds will be an half-forgotten bother, in five more not even I will care to remember you as anything more than an extremely ugly bastard that kept running away from battle as soon as the tide turned against him. Damn coward." The saiyan weaved past the attacks he could, phasing through those he couldn't. He was bent on toying with Kraktus, if only to prove that he was not above it all, or even anything. As he zigged and zagged he heard a familiar voice, preaching wisdom Kalabas never thought it could muster. At least not in these times, as the warrior was still young, but it seemed that war had made men of all of them "Auber!" turned the Duke, voice brimming the joy at being reunited with an old comrade of his "How have you been, chap? It's been a minute- haha!"
Kalabas flew at the squid's tentacle as it came for him from behind, seizing it with newfound strength. His short-lived joy made his returning steely tone all the more foreboding "Kraktus, Kraktus, Kraktus... It is not like I expect an utter and complete cretin like you to have the barest grasp on good manners, but when one such as I is reunited with an old friend... Well, the least you could do is allow us a minute or two to catch up, no? No matter, we can still do that and kill you." perhaps Safe would have been disappointed at the ease with which Kalabas sentenced Kraktus to death for the nth time, but she knew nothing of the extent of his horrors. Allowing him to prowl would be a loss, imprisoning him was quite simply wishful thinking, only his death would do good to the Kingdom and whatever else he was bent on overpowering with his slimy, cold tentacles. "You know what I find humorous? You thought you were going to best a Queen, but here you are dying to a Duke... and a footsoldier? Auber, are you an elite yet? Bringing this bastard's ugly head will get you a promotion for sure!"

Kraktus eyed Kalabas as he tried to claim that being a ghost meant he was not going to ever face as death. He may not have realized that Kraktus had killed his kind before and for good. He remembered watching Banshee explode into ash to never be seen again. He’d make Kalabas vanish just the same. When he went on to note his tasks were useless he laughed. “Forgotten in five years. Oh, I plan on it.” If he was forgotten that meant someone was still alive and that would be no good. No one would remember him because everyone would not exist. “As for your claim of life I’ve killed a ghost-like you before. I have learned long before you ever learned to walk how to take the souls of my foes. Seeing you there without a body only is going to make that so much easier. I hope you enjoy being a lifeless husk once more.” Kraktus laughed.
“Hmm?” Kraktus was about to charge in but someone else had arrived. Auber the saiyan warrior he didn’t expect to see him here. He must have been aware of how outmatched he was. Did he wish to die with Kalabas? He was not going to stop him and most of his words fell on deft ears. “Child? Tantrum? Oh please, you think that I am either. Anger is an emotion that all have. I’ve seen it in all you saiyans before. Don’t think you're higher than me when you can’t even stand under my feet.” Kraktus grunted. Kalabas was at least somewhat strong and he dared pity him Auber words didn’t affect because he was far too below him. Kalabas was at least high enough to catch his ear.
As Kraktus went to attack, however, Kalabas avoided his attack with ease. Kraktus was surprised by the burst of power but he had not seen any changes. He went to attack again but his hand was grabbed by Kalabas. “Huh?” Kraktus looked down at Kalabas. The man-made a point that he wanted to talk with Auber though to him it didn’t matter since either way he was going to kill Kraktus. His eyes raised in surprise but then he frowned. Kraktus took in a deep breath to refocus himself. He had been quite angry but now he was fighting. To let his anger control him would be foolish. Oh no, he’d still hold onto it but he’d not let it guide him into death.
When Kalabas went on about how it was a shame he was gonna die to a duke and a foot soldier Kraktus burst into laughter “Hahahahahahaha.” The former general crackle with great enjoyment. “Bold words for a dead man. Bolder words still coming back from death to say them. But, when I say my words I can back them up. You? You won’t be able to back them up for much longer.” All of a sudden Kraktus aura exploded around him as his body began to grow in size. “You must remember this form I used to crush Aizu into the wind!” Kraktus would transform into a massive electric monstrosity as waves of energy shot out of his body in an attempt to knock the two warriors flying back. “Now that we’ve gotten serious how about we fight and see who is left standing.” Kraktus fired a mouth blast after down at the two warriors.

Auber's words didn't affect Kraktus the way he had expected them to, most likely because the scum has such a severe case of egomania that his own ego makes him deaf to the truth the Saiyan speaks, of course Kraktus would have such narcissism present in his mind, why wouldn't he?
"Oh? But I am not the one who is throwing a fit now, am I? Is that really the attitude a 'superior' one such as yourself takes? I'd love to see what you are like when you are reduced to nothing more than a peon, grasping at straws in an attempt to delay the inevitable." Auber bit back, perhaps Kraktus actually believed the words that he spouted, which was all the better for Auber for when his reality is eventually shattered and he sees what sort of a weakling he really is, when that day comes, the Saiyan would smile.
Though it seems today will not be that day as Kraktus had begun to transform after Kalabas had deflected an attack of the sea dweller, although this certainly wasn't the form that Kraktus normally undertook, it was more powerful and explosive, well then, it seems he had found his equivalent of a Super Saiyan, truly unsavory, that and the beast's looks, disgusting.
Auber would tap away at his wrist "I do hate it when the stubborn don't realize the truth." He sighed as his pod came crashing down beside him, emitting blutz waves that went to work almost right away, transforming Auber as he became bulkier, stronger, bigger but most importantly, deadly.
With but a few moments, Auber had turned into his Great Ape form and hopped back a distance to avoid the blast that came from the ugly Kraktus, hm, perhaps Auber wouldn't be as useful as he would have liked, but at least this way he could do more than stand around and look pretty.
