It had been what, how long now? Staring forward with bloodshot eyes, Safe couldn't help but twitch at the thought of how unimaginably long this search was going to be. Why couldn't she make a wish first to be able to find these things so she could then make a proper wish from the thing or whatever that gave the wish? Staring down at both of her hands and imagining the glowing gold orbs within them, she couldn't help but grit her teeth as her hair started to flow unnaturally. Yet almost forcefully she punched herself in the face, staggering off to one side and falling against a rock.
Lowering her forehead against the stone, she closed her eyes and tried to control her breathing again. These were regular exercises, attempts to prevent an outbreak but never a tactic that could stop one when it started. Holding a palm against her chest so that she could feel her heartbeat, she tried to be patient and keep breathing in and out to properly lower her heart rate and calm down. Confident that she'd collected herself, she stood back up. Looking up towards the vast sky, she imagined just what else might be in store for her hear. She knew that Earth was different than all of the other planets she'd been too. Unlike most planets, Earth was a witch's cauldron if galactic species were ingredients being tossed in and boiled together. She had yet to discover all of the various races, and she had also convinced herself doing something like that was fundamentally impossible. Yet perhaps time would try and prove her wrong, even if she wouldn't recognize a truth when it hits her right in the face.
Stepping forward in slow and methodical footsteps, she laced around another jagged rock and ducked underneath to look beneath the stone. She'd been doing this fairly regularly, so it wasn't quite a matter of if but rather when that some kind of creature would defensively snap out at her as she leaned in to check it out. Such creature happened to be what most would classify as a rather unnerving reptile living in the crag covered rocky area. Specifically something of a Gila Monster, and it lunged out and nearly bit Safe who impulsively jumped back a good fifty feet, skidding across the ground. That was it, it took something that small to make her snap. The cherry on top that she just was not interested in dealing with! This ridiculous useless ungrateful vermin that should not exist anywhere within ten billion miles of her dared to strike out at her and attempt to challenge her in a test of combat and she was forced to either appear cowardly and decline or lower down to this cretins level and accept a challenge from a mere animal! Absolutely unacceptable! That was the ridiculous internal thought, while outwardly Safe started screaming a good ten seconds ago. With her arms flexed at her side and staring forward, her eyes began to redden and glow as energy spiked her Saiyan hair up in a flowing mass.
Her entire body began to bulge as veins formed on the surface of her skin, she nearly tripled in size when all things were considered, arms nearly the size of proper tree trunks and a body certainly so. Breathing heavily in ragged breaths, the internal mind was suddenly irrelevant. This was a plague that had been hurting Safe for a long time, because from her perspective she was merely watching from the recesses of her mind as some sort of otherworldly rage drove up from her subconscious mind. Perhaps she would've wanted to try and intervene a long time ago, when it first started, though eventually this became a way of life for her. Her mindless form that was basically her on autopilot. Frequently it drove itself to the bring of exhaustion and she barely felt a thing, she didn't need to worry about the pains of aching muscles until she was in so much agony after coming back to her senses on the ground that she was in tears.
Needless to say that reptile had moved on to Otherworld if such a place were keen on taking in animals the instant she finished transforming. No evidence that this creature ever even existed as the rock it hid under was reduced to a massive crater. The blurred sounds of explosions rippled like an echo through the depths of her consciousness proper, and she faintly understood that she was still sending a massive Eradication Array into the crater. She'd been doing this for at least a minute now, and it was all she could consciously manage to prevent herself from foaming at the mouth she was so angry. She never understood why, truly why, but she gave up trying and submitted to this barbaric force. This muscle clad abomination that always came through in the end. Though the whiplash was always the worst, and that's when it hit her.
A pulse that drove up her entire body, and unlike most sensations it was one that she felt right down to her core. Agonizing, she let out a scream as she'd nearly torn apart her body from expending so much energy so recklessly, immediately starting to plummet back to the Earth after having lost the power to even maintain her airborne state. Crashing down into the rocks, she just stared up into the sky while trying to cope with the hurt. Sheer, raw pain. Slowly rolling over onto her side, she looked up to the edge of the crater above her. Though perhaps instead of trying to get up, maybe she should just stay down here... Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to take a short rest. So weak and spent from losing her cool to a mere reptile, Safe now returned to her normal modest form began to slowly drift off to sleep. A right hand that was still balled up into a fist releasing the iron grip it maintained as neared full incapacitation.
She sure did make a fancy lightshow though!
