Having recovered from the pain she'd recently went through, Safe had swayed the elements temporarily in her favour. Not the literal elements per say, more like luck, really. Whether good or bad really depended, while she might believe dangerous mountains meant bountiful Dragon Balls, the hard facts was it just didn't quite work out that way. In fact, at the foot of the mountain she was assaulted by a torrential gust of winds for starters. Even she at her impressive strength was nearly pushed back, raising an arm in front of herself to keep the wind from blowing into her face and eyes while carrying little bits of debris. She didn't seek to be blinded by weather, she'd probably kill herself in rage from such a thing. Even if that reason was because that'd be so pathetic she couldn't live with herself anymore.
Yet persevering onwards the Gray Saiyan Hybrid would begin to make some headway. Though with each step forward, things seemed to almost supernaturally get worse. The sky continued to darken as heavy clouds formed overhead and the winds gradually picked up. At first it was nothing really to worry about, a breeze that flushed right over the skin. However as she progressed upwards it got to be incredibly annoying, the wind no matter which direction she moved, so long as that direction was upwards with any progress came almost equal winds attempting to push her back. Why did this mountain want her gone so bad? While she made it out to be some weather phenomena, even if it was supernatural she'd only attribute it to Earth trying to hide the Dragon Balls! She would let nothing and no one stand in her way to get them! And if they did, she'd pummel them into a breathing pulp!
Unless they beat her up first. Totally possible, mhm.
There came a point during her upwards ascent where things truly took a turn for the worse. The clouds began to let loose tons of snow, cascading down in heavy blankets that made the upwards ascent all the more annoying as her thermal aura needed to tediously burn through a foot of snow around her steps so she didn't get soggy and wet feet. Given the reduced speeds and having to stand against the annoying wind like a pylon, things only got more and more annoying. She could feel the restraints snapping on her cool. One at a time, especially when every time she breathed she just got a nippy gust of cold air chilling her mouth, making her not even want to breathe period let along in the deep breaths she normally used to properly relax herself. This was looking bad. With a twitching eye, her attention started to dart around her from the various peaks and ridges that ascended the mountain. What she was looking for? Some sort of cave she could temporarily take shelter in to get her cool and return to normal.
Though the futility of such a thing was positively laughable. To really believe she could maintain her anger for that long was just as absurd as believing you can find all seven Dragon Balls by sheer luck alone. She only got a couple meters forward before the final restraint snapped and she just started to scream. Her head took a deep dive into problem peninsula, conjuring mountains out of molehills. The smallest things started to fuel her rage like oxygen to a fire. The biting cold wind, the resistance of that same wind as she walked forward. The mere fact that deep down she truly understood how futile this search was but seemed to be hopelessly committed to climbing a mountain for absolutely no reason other than to confirm her own assumption that nothing was here. She started to sprint forward, a fiery trail blaze forming in her wake along with melted snow that ran off various ridges. In fact, it was so hectic that the wave of kicked up snow went upwards of fifteen meters high and triggered an avalanche! With the entire peak she was at rumbling with the intensity of the cascading sheets of snow, the rage-filled hulk of a woman plowed through wave after wave of natural force that would crush a normal person. Quite literally fighting the mountain itself, she came to a standstill as the bulk of the snow hit her. Standing straight in place and flashing out fists like a blur, she with sheer force parted the seas of snow to either side of herself, sending snowy mist flying down the mountains to either side of her.
Though honestly, she was having a hard enough time remembering where she was. Even with that tiny subconscious thought, in reality the Rage Gene Safe started to turn around and stare at the environment with heavy breaths. She nearly foamed from the mouth, eyes red with destructive intent. It was a 'Safe' bet that if anything moved, she'd find a reason to blame her rage on it. Thankfully, nothing did. In fact, that pesky storm had even stopped when she'd gotten so muscular that she was more manly than feminine during her transformation. The conditions for a rare, natural return to calm were set for the first time in a while. So with nothing to lash out on and destroy, Safe let out a long whistle of air as her body practically deflated.
Arms hanging at both her sides, the not normal proportioned woman just tiredly stared down at the top of a snowy peak she stood on. The way the snow hugged her feet and made them sweat was pissing her off. Why couldn't she just blow everything up and die. She couldn't even recall the last five minutes in detail, only recalling things as if multiple frames were selected of a feature length film to describe it in full. She just... Slowly dropped onto her bottom, her thermal aura melting and then evaporating the moisture to give her a small secluded dry spot to rest.
'Why does everything have to suck?' She thought.

Reg’s PL: 5 (Antisense)
Reg was clinging to a tree limb for dear life as frigid winds caught his wings and snapped him to and fro. He had been flying along with Vuu following on the ground, but the winds had violently and abruptly torn him away from his skittish friend, flinging him up the mountain and into the sides of cliffs and into nets of tree limbs. He had managed to catch himself on this one tree limb, but he could hear it tearing and snapping as he clung to it. Not to mention the glimpses of the monster that he had caught sight of as he was whisked away. He wasn’t sure other than that it was grey with red eyes. He prayed silently to Luna that he would be spared a dreadful end. He had just gotten free of the responsibilities that his family had forced on him! He wanted to enjoy it more! As he had that thought, the tree branch snapped and the winds took him away again. He spun and spiraled out of control despite his best efforts to stabilize himself until he shot up past the very peak of the mountain. For some reason, the winds that had tormented him since nearing the mountain stopped, catching Reg totally off guard. He fell face first into a mound of snow on the peak, forming a perfectly moth shaped silhouette in the snow. Reg groaned as he picked himself up out of the hole. His whole body ached so bad. That was crazy unpleasant. The cold wasn’t so bad thanks to the moth silk jacket that he was wearing but the wind! Dusting a bit of snow off off his head and rubbing his sore antenna, Reg fluttered his big blue wings and massaged them as well. He was pretty sure that a bunch of his wing scales had been torn off because of all of that slamming into things. He’d have to pray to Luna and channel some Ki into them to get them back up to snuff. Reg sighed, worrying about Vuu. Would she be alright until he could find his way back to her? He hoped that she wouldn’t tear apart the mountain looking for him. As he glanced around, he noticed someone else at the peak. He froze at the sight of her grey skin. Was it the monster? But… she looked pretty peaceful. Mm. Best try being nice! It had worked wonders with Vuu! Reg put on his best sheepish smile and waved with one hand. “Ah… hello there! Sorry for dropping in unannounced… the wind carried me away up here.”

With just a little time to regain her bearings at the top of the mountain, a voice startled her and caused her to quickly open her eyes and twist her head in the direction of the voice. Normally she got a remote feeling somebody was around, yet this creature she felt not a single thing. Not that it was too much to really pick up on consciously either which way as her current sensing capabilities stood, but the impulsive reaction was a little faster considering she was doubly shocked. Yet to her ease of mind and gratitude they were probably the gentlest thing she'd encountered. Not a thing in which the creature said seemed to carry any sort of perceivable insult. It was just a greeting and apology given the circumstances. That thankfully allowed for Safe to maintain her composure just fine. If anything, she found herself calming even more.
Turning her attention towards them fully, she shifted in her cross legged position and rested a palm on either knee. Shaking her head, she spoke. "You have no need to apologize, a crazy storm just finished here. It started almost out of nowhere, I'm sort of used to being able to forecast bad weather from past experiences, but this completely caught me by surprise..." She stated, rubbing the back of her neck. "Earth is super weird I guess. Even the weather is weird." Looking closer, she started to identify the creature more for what it was. It seemed to have some traits reminiscent of an insect of sorts. She wasn't familiar with different types of insects, merely understanding that it was a classification of species type. The antennae were the main giveaway, the only other race that she'd seen having such a trait were Namekians, and they had some kind of relation to insects too, she thought she vaguely remembered.
Still, tapping her chin momentarily allowed for her to think of what to say next, to which she'd voice her thoughts as soon as they became whole. "So, I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Safe, and I came to Earth from Outer Space in search of the Dragon Balls. Do you have any information on how I might be able to find them?" She'd ask, rubbing her chin. "I climbed this mountain in hopes they might all be at the top, since it's as old as can be that the harder the challenge, the greater the reward. So I wanted to find one of Earth's toughest obstacles but... Unless I'm missing something, there unfortunately isn't anything up here." She said, eyes narrowing and brows furrowing as she considered the wasted time she invested in this endeavour.

Reg nodded and smiled when the lady said he had no need to apologize. Oh, good. He was worried that he had interrupted her somehow. Someway. He was relieved to know that wasn’t the case. When she mentioned the storm, Reg issued a sigh and rubbed his aching antenna again. “It surprised me too! I really wasn’t expecting anything so harsh. Luckily, I have my moth fur coat! So I’m warm at least. O-Oh.” Reg paused when he noticed that the woman wasn’t wearing anything to keep her warm. Wasn’t she cold? He frowned a little with worry and hurried over, taking off his jacket. He still had his sweater underneath, so he wasn’t really worried. He draped his jacket over the woman’s shoulders and smiled.
“Ah, sorry, you must be cold, right? Here, take my jacket! It was made back on my home planet, and it’s really warm!” As he did that, she introduced herself. Her name was Safe - a nice name! Apparently, she was looking for something called Dragon Balls. He really had never heard of them before, but he put a thoughtful hand to his chin and made doubly sure. After a moment, he shook his head and smiled apologetically.
“Nice to meet you, Safe! I’m Regulus, oh, but you can call me Reg. That’s what my friends call me! Or they would if I had any, haha…” Chuckling nervously and rubbing the back of his head, Reg continued, “I’m really sorry, but I just got to this planet myself. I didn’t even know the name of it until you said it! I don’t know what these Dragon Balls are, but… um… maybe I could help you find them? Why do you need them? Are they special to you?”

Taking in a deep breath, she listened to the Moth Humanoid speak. Looking down towards the dry patch surrounding her, it took Regulus talking about his moth coat or something for her to actually look over in his direction again. She couldn't imagine the biology, insects and fur just seemed so far apart in her mind. At least from her experiences- though she's seem some pretty mind boggling flora and fauna before. However as her attention turned towards the ground, the next thing to pull it back wouldn't be words, but rather a weight being dropped over her back. Almost immediately, one eye twitched as she twisted consideration into pity. The aura around her was already got, she'd been maintaining it to preserve her body heat and dry up the area around her by evaporating the moisture. The intensity only got greater as her anger rose in that moment, and a vein popped to the surface of her temple. Yet, with her eyes focused on the ground she tried her best to convince herself that it was just him trying to be nice. Perhaps the aura was missed, she didn't know. She couldn't know, because frankly trying to think that many layers deep just hurt her not literal but figuratively acorn sized brain. She just spoke in as kind a tone as she could manage, which came out as a wavy mix between livid and patient.
"I appreciate the concern, but I don't need the jacket ahahaha..." She'd say, eyes wide while looking away to avoid that coming off even angrier than she wanted it too. "I've been producing a bit of heat with my extra energy." She added, taking in another deep breath. She took a moment to try and recompose herself before continuing to explain the Dragon Balls, seeing as Regulus didn't seem to know much about them either. "Well, from my limited understanding and rumors I've heard from other planets, the Dragon Balls if you get them all have the ability to grant any one wish. Honestly I have one wish I know I would want for sure, but I don't know if there is anything more important to me yet. I'd have to put thought into it to figure that out, and I'm not exactly the best at thinking things out. I want to find them all to wish to never get older. So I can always focus on becoming stronger, and never have to worry about just dying off in a corner of the universe. If I do die, I want it to be in battle. I want to be the strongest, and I'll only accept dying if someone has managed to become stronger than me by that point." She said, nodding her head firmly.
"I would say what they offer is special to me compared to the Dragon Balls themselves. They're an integral key to persisting through the ages. And while everyone is intent on feeding me garbage about eternal life being way different than one might expect, it's all just attempts to dissuade me from what I want." She stated. Taking in a deep breath, she let out a lengthy sigh as a puff of warm breath pierced the cold air. "So, you just got here? Where'd you come from?"

When Safe visibly stiffened at his draping his jacket over her, Regulus furrowed his brow in concern. Had he done something to offend her? Come to think of it, it was actually kind of warm over beside Safe, but he didn’t see any traces of a fire or anything, so he found himself really confused. Unlike many of his kind - and much to the dismay of his parents - Regulus didn’t have the innate ability to sense ki. He knew that it existed, but he couldn’t see it in all the colors that people had described it to him in. He couldn’t see it at all actually. Maybe… she was using it now? But ki was usually pretty forceful. He was surprised that it could be used for something so nice as keeping someone warm. Regulus really did frown in earnest when she seemed angry about it and confirmed his hypothesis.
“O-Oh. I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to offend you… I can’t sense or see ki, so I had no idea! I just thought you might be a little cold.”
A little dejectedly, Regulus withdrew his jacket and slung it back around his shoulders like a blanket. He sat down with his hands on his knees in front of her, wondering if there was anything he could do to make it up to her. He really hadn’t meant to upset her. His antennae hung low as he listened to her talking about the Dragon Balls. Apparently, they could grant wishes, which sure was something! If Reg had a wish, he wondered what it would be. He hadn’t really put thought into something like that. He just nodded and smiled a little wryly at her wish. Eternal youth, huh? Still, it didn’t stop there. Safe wanted to be the strongest in the universe. It was a nice dream, but not one Reg totally related to. Still, he could appreciate craving a mastery for one’s craft. It was something a lot of Lunarians strove for as well.
“Hm… that’s a nice dream. Wish. Goal. Yeah, it’s a goal. I kind of get it, but I can’t say that I’d want to live forever, haha. Some members of my species actually do live forever, and they can get… really detached from other people? They’re really aloof.” Reg shrugged, “It’s not something I’d want for myself. I want to live my life to its fullest! Even if it is pretty short compared to most species. And then I want to die and go be with my goddess.”
When Safe asked where he was from, Reg supposed that he should answer.
“Oh, right! I’m actually from a distant place called Luna. Er, well, I came here from a spooky place called the Demon Realm… hrm. But I made a friend there…! Er… sorry.”
Running his hands through his hair in frustration, Reg sighed. He was already really nervous after having messed up accidentally with Safe, so he was having a lot of trouble organizing his thoughts. Eventually, he just slumped his shoulders and pulled his jacket closer. It was really, really cold up here and that wasn’t helping either.
“I’m not making much sense, am I?”

Suddenly a guilty disposition fell over the Gray and Saiyan Hybrid. "Hey, I'm sorry about snapping at you. I've just been on edge lately, I just lost my ship and crash landed here. While there's a lot of opportunity and exciting things, it's really jarring to get my bearings right now. Not to mention figuring out a way to get off of Earth in the future. I don't know of any readily available tech on Earth that has interstellar capability, so it's a matter of searching in the cracks I guess." She said, rubbing the back of her neck lightly.
"But yeah, I suppose I do appreciate the concern, but it looks like you could use the jacket more than me. Uhm... How do I explain this. My body is very capable at channelling heat, I've actually had times where I accidentally started fires when I got angry enough, haha." She laughed sheepishly, despite the seriousness of what she was saying. Though she became neutral again when she went to address the immortality mention.
"Yeah, I'm sure it won't be the last time someone tells me that. Though right now, I want to dream to be the best forever. I could give a long winded explanation if you wanted, but the end it bottoms down to it's just what I want right now. The longer I take to make the decision, the more my body has withered due to old age. That's the only thing I can't just shove away with pure power, I can extend my life by becoming strong, but time will always be my enemy without that wish." She said, looking as the ring of melted snow expanded around her. She looked towards Regulus, making a conscious effort to output more energy to increase the aura to include him as well, which would start warming him up if he stayed within it.
"Though I suppose... If I was being honest, maybe in thousands of years I would be seeing repetitions of history for perhaps the third time. I would be meeting people and see iterations of previous people that they resemble so closely. Uniqueness is relative, perhaps? What we consider original and unique now might in... Five hundred years not actually be unique if you lived all that time. Despite it being new and awesome for the current generation. Yet it's a risk I'm willing to take, and even if I do adopt that distance, it's not like that would make me evil. It's too far in the future to really seriously think about. Right now I just have to stop myself from withering and dying." She said, fidgeting her fingers about and twiddling her thumbs.
Raising a brow at Luna, her expression would only beam when the Demon Realm was mentioned. "I can't say much for Luna, but this Demon Realm sounds super cool! Is it actually a different realm? That would be super awesome, it's not like a planet called 'Demon Realm' right? Please please actually be a different dimension, that would be super cool to see some day!" She shouted with enthusiasm, watching Regulus intently to see what they might have to say to expand on it- if anything at all.
"Oh oh oh! How do you get there if it is another Dimension?! I'd totally want to visit, if it's like a bunch of super scary Demons it'd totally be a super awesome training ground to get super duper mega ultra strong!" She said, flexing her right arm. She sure did a one hundred and eighty degree flip quick.
