Things seemed to be settling on Arcose, its people certainly weren't PLEASED by the change in leadership, and no amount of their telling the Arcosians that this would not be a vengeance trip or a delayed massacre seemed to do much to assuage general concerns, but at the very least there weren't riots in the streets or even more foolishly active revolt. Nashua would probably have to deal with uprisings again down the road but Kayen felt confident that she would handle it well and maintain control of Arcose, and hopefully even get the Arcosians to truly settle into life as apart of the Kingdom. And the Kingdom in general was part of what brought Kayen to the Castle in search of Nashua, Arcose was nowhere near the last stop in Kayens plans for the universe and while she intended on waiting a bit before moving forward again in order to give Arcose some time to really mellow out she wanted to get Nashua’s perspective on how they could advance. Kayen strode past the guards a mix and match assortment of some of Raiti’s finest security forces and what appeared to be a few Arcosians willing to continue working under their new Queen “Let Nashua know I’m here” Kayen said as she passed one on her way through the castle before any could even fathom the idea of stopping her, one of the Arcosians motioned to TRY only to be stopped by another who realized just how bad of an idea it was.

Nashua, at present, found herself plopped at a desk high up in the castle of Freeza Capital, a mountain of various papers of different sizes, shades of white, and importance all piled up on her left, and a much smaller pile of papers to her right in her "finished" pile. At a guess, it had taken her about three hours to take care of the meager pile on her right, and it would probably take at least ten times that to wrap up everything in the pile on her left. Just as she was starting to debate how much of this stuff she could get away with simply flushing down the toilet, she heard a knock on her door. And before she could reply to the knock, her door swung open to reveal... "Mom?" Nashua stated in surprise as her mother in all her glory stood in the doorway. "Yes, hi, sweetie," her mom quickly stated, "There's apparently a 'pirate' here to speak to you? That was what one of the surprisingly friendly Arcosians told me, anyway. ...I think he thought I was you."
Nashua's parents had migrated over from their humble little house on Vegeta to the big castle on Arcose just a few days prior, and both seemed to be... Adjusting to their new significantly more well-off life. They were also adjusting to the idea of living around a species that was supposed to be their sworn enemy. Nashua had assured them time and time again, though, that nobody was going to be bringing them any harm. "That must be Kayen," she replied as she got up and made her way out of the office. Her mom decided to tag along, too. "Kayen is the Queen of Vegeta, right?" her mom asked her, and continued on before she got an answer. "I've heard she's tall. Like, as tall as your father is. But young, too, right? She's only a few years older than you!"
It didn't take very long before Nashua came down to the main hall and spotted Kayen patiently awaiting her arrival, but before she could go up to greet the Queen, her mom stepped on ahead. "Uh, wai-" Nashua tried to stop her, but it was too late. "Hiii! You must be the Kayen I've heard so much about!" Nashua's mother said as she approached the much taller woman and shook her hand. "I'm Agula, Nashua's mother! She's told me soo much about you. You certainly inherited all the height genes in your family, didn't you?" While Agula looked Kayen up and down as if she were studying a fine painting in a museum, Nashua stepped forward and attempted to hide how many shades of pink her cheeks had turned. "Sorry," she stated, "Kayen, this is my mom. My dad is... Somewhere. Probably the kitchen." She cleared her throat. "Was there something you wished to speak with me about?"

It was rather amusing to be on the opposite end of the whole ‘waiting in the main hall’ thing that Kayen often intentionally did to people she was not overly fond of meeting with, were it not for the fact it seemed counter to Nashua’s nature Kayen MIGHT have assumed that the new Queen of Arcose was doing just that to her, it also helped that Kayen could sense the steady pace of Nashua’s movement through the castle, as she waited Kayen took a bit of time to take a good look at the hall, it was nice she supposed, it had all the standard trappings of Arcosian royalty which made it a bit ‘much’ for her, the Palace on Vegeta was about all she could stand when it came to absurdly grand architecture. Back on Raiti she’d had a VERY nice place to live in but it was really more a very large mansion crossed with a military barracks with a bar shoved in for good measure. Part of her wanted to make THAT her base of operations again, she was certain though that the idiotic elite of Vegeta would lose their minds if their Queen chose to reside on Raiti of all places. It would hurt their pride. Kayen was drawn from her thoughts as Nashua’s signature grew very close and with its proximity she also detected another weaker power signature alongside her, perhaps a guard of some sort? Nashua hardly needed one but that certainly never stopped Skash from trying to assign someone to her. If the woman who rushed past Nashua WAS a guard she was quite the friendly one rushing to close the distance between them and… oh apparently she was Nashua’s mother, that got a raised eyebrow from the Pirate Queen “A pleasure, I see good looks run in the family” Kayen said with a grin amused by the complement about her height, Nashua was clearly more than a little embarrassed and Kayen couldn't help but take a chance to mess with her just a little bit. Plus it certainly wasn’t an inaccurate statement “Nothing specific, just mostly looking to check in with you, make sure the boys from Raiti aren’t giving you any trouble, I’m sure the Arcosians are still being a bit difficult but I any of the boys from Raiti aren’t following orders right I can set that straight very quickly” They were being paid MORE than well enough to follow orders to not just the word but the but also Nashua’s INTENT. The last thing she needed was anyone screwing around with what was going on here.

Oh, god. The last thing Nashua needed right now was her mom and Kayen flirting with each other. She knew her mother had briefly "experimented" with Saiyan women when she was younger, thanks to a very loud story she'd told Nashua a few years prior after she'd had one too many drinks. Reopening that whole can of worms didn't seem like a horribly good idea, seeing as she was still married to Nashua's father. Agula seemed flattered by Kayen's response, though. "But of course," she replied, wrapping her arm around Nashua's shoulder and giving the younger Saiyan a pat on the head, Nashua's spiky hair briefly matting down onto her skull before popping back up again once Agula had pulled her hand away. "I would only pass down the best genes for my daughter. How else do you think she became a Super Saiyan? It's all in her blood!" "I don't think it's quite..." Nashua started to protest, but gave up with a sigh.
She brushed her mother's arm off her shoulder and cleared her throat before replying to Kayen. "They're not thrilled, but I've been seeing a bit less outright hostility as I've reached out to them a bit more," she explained. "I held a question and answer forum the other day, and it went pretty well, I think." She opted to leave the mention of Yanwang and his desperate attempts to get her to fight him. He probably wouldn't be bothering them again anytime too soon, anyway. "And your Raiti boys seem fine. I haven't really gotten to interact with them too much, yet; I've been so busy being copped up in the office with like a ridiculous amount of paperwork to do." She somewhat softly chuckled at her own statement, but the amount of paperwork really was kind of absurd.
Nashua's mother took it upon herself to add, "She's always worked too hard since she was a little girl," towards Kayen. "I remember waking up at five in the morning and finding her hunched over a table at nine years old still working on homework and eager to tell me all about the 'Imperial Peace Treaty of 2895'." Nashua was about to correct her and say it was actually the peace treaty of 2859, but had a feeling that saying so would just end up proving her point in a way. "Did you know she was only about yay high just four years ago?" Agula added as she held up her hand up to the middle of her stomach - maybe three and a half feet off the ground. "She sprouted up basically overni-" "Mom, I don't think Queen Kayen is very interested in this," Nashua urged her mom with an elbow to her side.

Kayen raised an eyebrow at Agula’s comment vaguely curious if it was just boasting about their family OR if Nashua had a secret Super Saiyan in her family tree, it certainly was not impossible as during Habana and Zucceta’s time quite a few Saiyans started achieving the ‘legendary’ power, only a few of them managed to truly master and improve upon it though. Considering Nashua’s attempts to quiet her mother though Kayen had a feeling it was more boasting than anything else, but it would certainly be something to ask the new Queen about down the road. The impression Nashau gave on the state of Arcose gave Kayen a bit of hope that her plan might actually pan out, ‘less outright hostility’ was about all she could really expect right now and truth be told it was probably a monumental feat accomplished only by the fact Aizu had practically handed them a means to look vaguely ‘good’ in the eyes of the Arcosians. Her plan to comment on the state of things was cut off however as Agula regaled them with tales of Nashua’s youth and got a wide amused grin from Kayen, she’d known Nashua was fairly dedicated to her work but to learn she was THAT dedicated from such a young age was amusing, especially as one would never really expect such a person to go on to become potentially the strongest Saiyan alive. That Agula added on how short Nashua had once been just doubled Kayens amusement “I sort of wish you hadn’t hit that growth spurt, I’m sure it would burn up a lot of people to have someone so tiny have the level of power you do”“I’m glad to hear that things seem to be going reasonably well here, you were definitely the best choice for Arcose. I doubt anyone else would have the patience for what you’re trying to do, keep the Raiti crew on for as long as you need, maybe even a bit longer than you THINK you need, even if the Arcosians start to seem completely or mostly ‘fine’ their power structure seems to involve a lot of placating higher ups until they can be usurped” Though she doubted any single Arcosian could land a genuinely lethal shot on Nashua unless her guard was completely and utterly down. “I’m likely going to be taking off for Earth soon, I don't want to leave Kabe back there for too much longer even if he has Uria and Nyaku watching over him, after that I’ll likely be making a return to Vegeta once I check in with Carro again”
