Belle's PL: 61,000 Aura Block: Active (Set to 100)
Walking along with her crutches, Belle looked up at the orange autumn sky. It was evening now and a nice fall breeze was blowing by. Her side ached a little, but that wasn’t what was bothering Belle. What bothered Belle was the fact that she was going back to where Mrs. Sulfur lived. She had offered her a place to stay and even… even to help with her hunt for the Dragon Balls. Belle had pretty much turned her down on the latter. She didn’t want someone who hardly knew her to risk their life for her. She barely even wanted Tarch doing it. But what bothered her most was that Mrs. Sulfur had warned her that she could get hurt, and she didn’t listen and had gotten hurt. Belle really didn’t want to worry her, but she couldn’t stop either. Shaking her head and taking a deep breath, Belle readied herself for the fussing. As she turned the corner to go down their incredibly long driveway, Belle spotted LEO lying in the middle of it! Her eyes sparkled with excitement. She liked the kitty robot! Excited, she used her telekinesis to fly over and set herself down right next to LEO. She smiled a bit shy and reached out to pet her. “H-Hi again, LEO!”Wait a second. As she pet LEO, the gears in her mind slowly realized what that meant. Oh. Mister Carro was home? Belle frowned uncertainly. She wasn’t sure if Mrs. Sulfur had told Mister Carro that she was staying with them. She really didn’t want to impose, but the bed here was a lot nicer than the one in her ship… plus… she didn’t have to eat rehydrated food. But, she couldn’t exactly not go inside either. Daisy was sleeping in her room in the King’s Castle! She knit her hands together anxiously. “Um… LEO? Is Mister Carro home…? I um… I don’t want to bother him, but… I kind of… need to get my stuff if I can’t stay with Mrs. Sulfur anymore.” Carro Hofferson

HOME AWAY FROM HOMECARRO's PL: 100 || LEO's PL: 1,584,000 (176k BASE)
LEO laid sprawled across the driveway, snoozing lazily as flakes of snow had already began to pile atop her head. Carro had ran inside to have his lunch break and grab some files before they'd return to work in thirty-some minutes. A President's work was never done, after all. A crumpled metal canister, once filled with fuel, lied beneath her furled claws. It was a quiet wintery day, perhaps it would be a normal afternoon for once...
...Oh, who was she kidding, of course something was going to happen- it always did.
LEO lazily opened an eye as she felt a gentle pet, opening her jaws wide with a long yawn. "Hello, Belle..." She tiredly chirped before resting her head again... Wait, who now? "...Belle?! H-how'd you get past security?" Her eye snapped back open to look at the crippled child. The mere sight of the toddler on crutches made her mouth curl in disgust, wondering what cruel person could have done it- if anyone. Probably Kraktus or someone equally awful.
Though, the child's next words only confused the cat. Sulfur let her stay in King's Castle? Carro had several storage rooms filled with scrap machinery for his inventions- potentially dangerous if a child stumbled in. She gazed away in brief thought. "I wasn't made aware of your residence." She responded with a sigh, "Though to answer your question, the President is home. I wouldn't put it past him to let you stay, yet I can't make any promises." Carro was too kind for his own good sometimes. But would he be willing to put the responsibility of taking care of a child on his plate...?
"He should be in the first-floor kitchen. If you wish, I can accompany you." LEO stretched her legs, pushing herself upright. She nudged the towering doors open with her muzzle, eyeing the small child ever still. She was tempted to ask how Belle got hurt to lay a smackdown on whoever was responsible, but refrained- it would be a sore spot both emotionally and physically, likely. There was one less pressing question, though. "...I must ask before we meet with Carro, though, how'd you get Sulfur to let you stay?"
LEO's LIFE LINK (x9P) and [UT1] of the same name are ACTIVE! Her PL is sensible and feels somewhat like Carro's.

Belle flinched at LEO’s sudden surprise at her appearance. Security? Oh, that confirmed it really. Mrs. Sulfur hadn’t told Mister Carro that she had been staying with them. Belle bit her lip anxiously. She wondered if she should just go back to her ship. She watched as LEO’s eyes fell on her, but not just her, also her crutches. Even on a mechanical face, she could tell that LEO wasn’t happy to see that she had gotten hurt. Well, who would be happy, honestly? Belle smiled apologetically. It was her fault for looking for the Dragon Balls. But she couldn’t just stop looking either.
Before Belle could really protest, LEO had nudged open the doors to the castle. She mumbled something softly to herself about not wanting to impose, but it was sort of too late. Ambling up the stairs and leaning heavily on her crutches, Belle looked up at LEO and considered her questions.
“Um… I’m sorry… about not telling you. I don’t want to be a bother to Mister Carro. Um… after I left Namek with Tarch and Chromo… I couldn’t really stay with them for some… reasons. So, I remembered Mister Carro offering to help on Namek, so I went to the castle. He wasn’t there but Mrs. Sulfur was and… well, I didn’t want to bother her either, but she sort of insisted and she was really nice and…”
Belle knit her hands together. She had kind of been at her limit with loneliness and everything that had happened. She had kind of broke down in front of Mrs. Sulfur. It had all been too much, and she had actually asked for help. It made her worry for Mrs. Sulfur but… it had been nice to feel like someone actually cared about her. It reminded her of her time with Mister Lord Chill and how he would dote on her. It made her feel normal again.
“Before that, I was living in my ship alone… it was… pretty lonely… it was nice to have an actual home to come back to… but! I won’t stay if it’s too much! I promise. I don’t want to be a problem for Mister Carro.”

CARRO's PL: 100 || LEO's PL: 1,584,000 (176k BASE)
LEO nodded and hummed in thought with Belle's explanation. Sulfur was just as kind as her partner, after all. She kept her claw close to Belle for support as she made her way up the stairs. "I suppose that makes sense." She responded. With a story as sad as Belle's, she'd be surprised if Carro said no. The child had already lost enough innocence as was- she didn't need to lose what little she had left.
Soon enough, the feline stopped at a much smaller door in the hallway. "Well, we're here. One moment..." She crouched low. Unable to fit through herself, she nudged the door open with her nose before calling inside. "Carro! You have a visitor!"
The sleep-deprived President was just filling up his coffee when LEO called out to him. The initial shock of a sudden voice breaking the silence almost made him drop his mug, but he quickly stabilized himself. "Yeaaaaah?" He called back, rounding the corner to see... Belle? Carro raised a brow in confusion. 'Sulfur was letting her stay here, apparently.' LEO's tone quipped in his head. 'She's apparently got nowhere else to go, but...' She mused, glancing silently towards her partner. Carro remained silent in thought. The President had clearly taken note of the fact that Belle was crippled as well...
"Well, kid, feel free to ask if you'd like." LEO cooed, resting her head beside the child to comfort her, if need be. As much of a softie as he was, Carro did hold an intimidating role on the Earth...

Belle felt less and less sure about this with each step, but it wasn’t as if she could just turn around and go away after bothering LEO in the middle of her nap. So, Belle followed along, smiling appreciatively up at LEO when the robot cat let her lean on her a little. The door to the kitchen opened and inside was Mister Carro, looking much as Belle remembered him. Which was to say, like he hadn’t had any sleep in a million years. Ironically enough, Belle almost mirrored his own exhaustion. Glancing at LEO as the big cat put her head down next to her, Belle gave her a couple more pets to reassure herself and then hobbled into the kitchen.
With Tarch, meeting Mister Carro had been really informal, but he was technically the leader of Earth. It was a fact she was reminded of with every night she had spent here. So, Belle decided to mind her manners. She attempted to curtsy, but it didn’t really go so well for her. She wobbled unsteadily and had to catch herself on LEO.
“H-Hello, Mister Carro. Sorry to interrupt your lunch… um…” Belle glanced back at LEO’s kind face to bolster her confidence a little more. “Mrs. Sulfur was letting me stay here… um… I don’t really have anyone else to stay with. I-I could go back to living in my ship… um… if it’s too much trouble, I don’t really want to be a bother.”
Belle stuck her hand in her pocket, feeling the cool metal of her cracked dragon radar. Mister Carro was good with machines, right? It hadn’t been working well ever since her encounter with Mister Garon. No, Mister Carro was busy. She didn’t want to impose on him even that much. She pulled it out of her pocket and fidgeted with it idly. It kind of helped her calm herself down, though it probably wasn’t good for the radar to be constantly messed with. Belle felt an odd tension in both of their auras. Like something was wrong. She was a little surprised that she could even see LEO’s aura since she couldn’t see Mister Duran’s aura or the aura of other living machines. She wasn’t really sure why LEO was different or why she felt so much like Mister Carro.

CARRO's PL: 100 || LEO's PL: 1,584,000 (176k BASE)
Carro was still trying to fathom what irredeemable bastard would break an innocent, suffering child's legs. Maybe the Stargoons?... No, they'd have probably flat-out killed the poor girl. The thought made him shudder. Maybe Kraktus and his mooks? He didn't ponder for long before Belle spoke to him, affirming LEO's telepathic message prior. Hearing it from the hobbling child herself made his heart ache, though. "Nowhere?" He questioned to himself more than anyone else, running a hand through his hair. "Stars above, I can see why Sulfur let you stay. I- uh, it's no problem. Just mind yourself in some of the offices and you should be good- I've got some tech in the works lying about a-and I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself on it!" While there was nothing that could really harm her, a shock from some exposed wiring would be unpleasant. LEO purred, bringing her head closer to Belle with Carro's affirmation as if to say see, that wasn't so bad.
However, both saiyan and android found their hearts skipping a beat as Belle pulled out a hauntingly familiar disc-shaped device to fiddle with. "T-that's... a Dragon Radar." Carro started to put some of the puzzle pieces together in horrifying realization. "Of course it's about those." Carro grumbled quietly to himself in frustration. What else could possibly drive someone to maim an innocent toddler rather than the promise of the Eternal Dragon's unrivaled power?
He had to fix this. He had to fix this now- Belle couldn't get hurt over those accursed orbs like he had before. Carro hastily set his coffee down to approach the kid. "Look, uhm-- I-I'm gonna need you to be honest with me. Did... this happen because of that?" He gestured vaguely to Belle's injuries, then the cracked device. Before Belle could respond though, he held up his arms with a quick clarification. "Y-you're not in trouble or anything! I promise!! It's just... Those things are very, very dangerous." He knew that better than anyone. But the thought of the fact that the Dragon Balls were not only back, but someone could be after them for nefarious purposes already forced a familiar sense of urgency into his gut. He almost asked why Belle herself would even be after those horrible things, but refrained. He wasn't one to pry, and it probably wasn't a very happy reason that ushered her to look for the miracles that the mighty dragon promised.

Belle sighed a little happy sigh of relief as Mister President Carro allowed her to keep staying with him and Miss Sulfur. She nodded in a silent promise that she would mind herself around the offices. Anything if she could have somewhere to stay! Belle smiled and even giggled softly at LEO as the big lion android brought her head low. She gave LEO a couple of happy pets. However, the vibe of the room changed very abruptly. Belle could feel it as well as see it in both LEO’s and Carro’s auras. She was a little confused at first until Mister Carro spoke up.
He knew what it was. Belle looked down at the radar in her hands. It was the hope that she had been clinging to ever since Tarch had given it to her. The hope that she might bring back the people that were taken away from her. The only hope that had kept her going when at times she just wanted to give up. But while Belle had good feelings toward the radar, Mister Carro’s aura was going through some… concerning changes. She recognized some of the emotions in his aura, but she was a little confused as to why.
As Mister Carro set down his coffee and approached her, Belle felt a little nervous. Had she messed up? Was having this bad? Could she not stay here if she had it? Anxiety flooded her mind up until his reassurance that she wasn’t in trouble. She still felt a little uneasy, but she nodded slowly and looked down at the device in her hands. She had recounted what had happened a couple times, and it was by no means the most traumatic thing to have happened in recent memory. So, it didn’t bother her too much.
“I was… I am... trying to bring back… some people that were taken from me… and I found a dragon ball… but um… this ogre man had found it first? And I tried to get him to give it to me, but his mean friend Mister Garon came and yelled at me. And I yelled back… which I know is bad, but he was really mean! And then he…”
Belle didn’t really want to get into the details, so she tapped her injured side lightly and made little explosion sounds, followed by a crashing motion with her hands. It hadn’t been very pretty. Lucky for her that Chromo has been there. He was a good brother. Even if he didn’t like to be called it. When she was done, she blinked up at Mister Carro and LEO apologetically.
“I didn’t want to get anyone else… hurt… helping me… so…”
