Clash for Konats Ashi Vs Typha (Ashi)

"Natural limit?" Ashi replied with a scoff and a shake of her head. "Ain't no such thing, sweet pea." Ashi proudly pounded her fist against her chest as she declared, "I can keep going into the billions, if I want to! And I will, eventually!" She paused for a moment, and let out a small cough, before she clarified, "Of course, that's all in the future. For now, yeah, this is about as far as I can go. ...Almost." She still had once last trick up her sleeve, but it was a comparatively small and short burst of power compared to all that she'd done so far. In short, if Typha had much gas left in him, then Ashi was kind of in trouble. She'd need to conserve her energy a bit more from here on out, if she was going to stand much of a chance. "But you don't wanna see my push myself that far, or this fight'll be all over for you!" Ashi decided to taunt, hoping Typha wouldn't be wise enough to call out her bluff.

She gave Yuda a small thumbs up as he praised the quickness of her strike, while Typha groaned something about how she'd almost been decapitated, but Ashi shook her head. "Nah, relax, dude," she assured him. "I'm not looking to kill you here. And you're not trying to kill me, either. ...Right?" She furrowed an eyebrow with slight suspicion at Typha, but continued regardless. "If I ever do kill you, then it'll be on Konats, and it'll be because we're fighting about it. And I expect that to be the only reason you ever kill me, capiche?" If Typha ever killed her for any other reason, Ashi was gonna be pissed. If he killed her over that, though? ...Well, she'd still be pissed, but it'd be more understandable. And she'd find some way to come back again and kick his ass, anyway.

Speaking of kicking his ass, Typha finally recovered from the wound she'd dealt him, and launched himself right at her for a rather ferocious looking strike! Ashi was prepared, though, and raised her blade into a defensive position, with Typha's blade smashing right into her own and sending yet another powerful shockwave out throughout the area. Despite her block, though, the blow was powerful enough to send the Konatsian sliding back several meters across the ground, the heels of her boots digging into the dirt before she finally came to a stop. "Yeesh, you're just, like, two hundred pound of pure muscle, aren't you?" she called out to him. "I try to keep my girlish figure and all, but, well, I've still got some muscle myself!" She then charged straight back at him, dark blue flames enveloping her blade as she prepared to swing it - there was going to be some power behind this one. 

A trail of fire followed behind her sword as Ashi gave a good slash out towards Typha, with the blaze both bright enough to blind and hot enough to sear - if this one hit, Typha's clothes were probably going to be kind of on fire.

Ashi's eyebrows furrowed as Typha insisted that he could never actually see himself killing her, which she found... Suspect. She was pretty sure he'd tried to kill her at least twice, right? That one time, and then the other one at that other place... Well, her memory was a bit foggy. A lot of people had tried to kill her by this point. Plus, he already had killed her. Albeit, indirectly. It's not like he'd set all those robots loose specifically so one of them would come and gank her. ...As far as she knew, anyway. Though, what would Typha have against some random blacksmith in the middle of some lame village? "Uhh, sure," Ashi replied with some clear doubt in her tone of voice. "I'm pretty sure you're just trying to be nice and all, but I appreciate the senitiment." Ashi paused. "Setiment? Seniment. ...Sentiment. That's the one."

And as for the attack she'd just send blazing out at the other Konatsian... Well, he seemed more than prepared to intercept and counter it. Typha's own blade clashed against the force she'd sent towards him, and rippled through it. At first, they seemed to be clashing with almost equal power - but after only a moment, her opponent's ki entirely overwhelmed hers, and the amount that had bled through was hurtling right for Ashi. Thinking quick on her feet, she reflexively tapped into the last bit of her ki reserves to eject herself out of the way, her form all but vanishing from existence for the briefest of moments, until she appeared corporeal again, this time behind Typha's back. Not hesitating to take advantage of the opportunity, Ashi lashed out at his back before putting some distance between them yet again.

"Looks like I got the hang of those afterimage things!" she exclaimed between some gasping breaths. Those had always evaded her grasp for the longest time, but after some dedicated practice, she'd achieved mastery of them, as well. They sure were handy. Being able to avoid attacks in their entirety rather than just softening the blow of them and still taking the remainder was a much preferable option in the heat of battle. It seemed to use up a bit less energy, too - but it still used up some, and Ashi was feeling herself fading fast. She definitely couldn't keep up with him at all, at this rate. Not when his power was so much greater than hers. For every two bits of ki power she used, Typha seemingly only needed to use one to match her. "Startin' to think I might be... A little bit outmatched, here," she grumbled as she gripped her blade tightly with both hands. "Much as it pains me to admit it."

Ashi had definitely been expecting Typha to take advantage of her brief moment of exhaustion to finish the fight right then and there- but instead, he, for some reason, opted to do the opposite. Ashi's eyebrows furrowed as Typha didn't use the opportunity to strike, rather instead using it as an opportunity to... Speak. "What do you mean, 'guess I figured it out'?" she asked with narrowed eyes as she crossed her arms over her chest. That seemed to imply that Typha had known from the start that she didn't stand a chance against him, and that he'd simply been waiting for her to realize that over the course of their fight. Sure, there was an obvious power gap between the two of them, but it wasn't as if she was really that hopeless in her struggle against him, right? She even still had a few tricks up her sleeve she hadn't used!

And yet... Even she could tell that there was really only one way the fight was going to end, barring Typha make some grave error on his own part. As long as the Konatsian Prince played relatively safe, and made sure not to burn through his ki power too quickly, then there was practically nothing Ashi could do to effectively whittle him down. That was the truth of it, whether she liked it or not. And like it, she did not. "Yeah, yeah," she scornfully replied as she took her sword and shoved it into its sheathe at her side, her head lightly shaking back and forth with disappointment. "You can save all the praise when there's something to praise. Let's face it - even as I am now, just about anyone else of even relative note across the galaxy would still wipe the floor with me, without even breaking a sweat."

She'd seen all their power levels, many of them hitting the three million mark by this point, while she could barely hover close to a million and a half. It'd take a lot more training before she'd actually even hope to be a threat to those kinds of guys. No doubt the other Star Goons would start to surpass her in time, too, if she didn't start pulling her own weight a little more. But training was so hard, and training ki was even harder. She'd never had to worry about building up all this strength back when she'd just been forging weapons and tools for a living. Of course, the job itself had made her arms pretty strong, but certainly not strong enough to punch a hole through a planet like she could now. Though, as Typha suggested they could either 'keep going or just chat or something', Ashi couldn't help but snort at him.

"With all those fancy pants Princey classes they had you taking in your castle, they never gave you a class on how to talk to women, did they?" She teased him, the slightest smug smile forming upon her lips as she spoke. She let that settle in for a moment, but then another thought popped into her head. This whole time, Typha had already been well beyond her own capabilities throughout their fight, but he'd kept on hinting that he could go even further beyond where he was already at. Ashi could too, technically, though only for a few moments, and it'd be a somewhat pitiful increase of only a few hundred thousand. So, that begged the question of just what Typha's power up was supposed to be like. "Say," she asked, "You keep on talking about how you can power up even further, right? Well, why don't you put your money where your mouth is? Show me just what this 'max power' form of yours is, and I'll see if I'm actually impressed." She crossed her arms and waited with a vague curiosity, only partially certain this would actually be a big boost at all - if he even bothered to flex it in front of her.

Ashi couldn't help but be a little bit surprised when Typha suddenly decided to start throwing out words of encouragement towards her. He was just about the last person she expected to really give a damn about keeping her morale high, so, she wasn't going to lie to herself and say that his words weren't entirely without appreciation. Not that she could really show him that, of course. Then she'd feel like she was starting to possibly owe him something, which was the last thing in the world Ashi really wanted. "Well... Yeah, I suppose," she replied with a tilt of her head and a slight roll of her eyes. "Just saying it's taking longer to get to that level than I'd like it to, y'know? You got all those crazy boons when you died, as far as I can tell, but when I did, I just got dumped in the dimension of boredom for a good half a year." 

She still wasn't sure what made him so special, but, whatever. Ashi supposed she could at least count herself lucky that some weird Ogre hadn't attached itself to her like this Yudi guy had to Typha. Then she'd have even more of an issue on her hands. And she supposed he did have something of a point with the whole 'third born warrior' shtick he had going for him. At that point in the lineage, pompous Princely classes probably wouldn't do you as much good, given how unlikely it'd be for you to become the next royal heir. She had to wonder about the brother in between them, though. What was he like? Ashi couldn't remember ever hearing or seeing much about him. Maybe she'd run into him, eventually.

Meanwhile, Typha seemed ready to show her his full power, as well. And show her he did. Ashi took a few steps back in bewilderment as his power level on her scouter rose, and rose, and rose, and... How much power was this guy holding, anyway? It finally seemed to cap off all the way up at, like, almost four million, which was just overkill, really. This was what he'd meant by not using his full power yet? Ashi had thought he'd just bump up, like, a few hundred more thousand, at the most. And then Typha fired off a huge ass laser beam into the air just over her head. Ashi stared back up at it, dumbfounded. If she'd gotten caught in that, then there'd probably only be pieces of her left. That'd make what those robots did to her look like nothing. And then, it was over, and Typha faceplanted.

"The hell was that?!" Ashi shouted at him in a mix of surprise and anger. "You were holding that back this entire time? What the fuck dude! You could blow up like five planets in a row with just one attack!" On the downside, he seemed, well, practically torn apart from the inside out from tapping into all that power. ...But still. She walked up to him and gave him a light prod, her eyebrows furrowing once again. "Hey, that didn't kill you, did it? I still need you alive to teach me how to do that."

After a moment or two of silence, Typha finally spoke back up from his position on the ground. ...Well, it wasn't really speaking up, and more that he'd just let out a loud scream of pain from his near fetal position. Ashi just about half expected him to start crying and sucking his thumb, really. "Come on," she grumbled as she looked around to make sure nobody else was seeing this. She'd probably catch some serious second hand embarrassment if a passerby Namekian happened to see Typha like this. Typha's consort seemed kind of miffed at the Prince for going all out like that, giving the one eyed man a nice little lecture as he lay writhing on the ground in pain. Ashi, meanwhile, elected to simply stand back and enjoy the show. Admittedly, she was getting something of a sadistic pleasure from seeing Typha brutalize himself just for trying to show off. Though, once that passed, it was just embarrassing again.

As Yudi explained what this 'kaioken' was to Ashi, she slowly nodded along. "Okay, so... It's like killing yourself to kill other people, kinda?" she asked. "Doesn't sound terribly, um, heroic, but I guess it gets the job done, if that blast of power was anything to go by." She certainly wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that kind of power, that was for certain. Even the best defense she could muster would probably falter in the face of that kind of ridiculous might. At best, she'd survive with pretty nasty injuries. But on the bright side, it looked as though Typha wasn't gonna be much better off after, either. She had the slight thought that, if she really wanted to, she could probably just finish him off right then and there, with how vulnerable he'd made himself - but nah, she'd do that only after a real battle, when they were on equal footing.

"Your robot eye?" Ashi asked, idly searching around from where she stood. "Well, maybe if you decide to change your mind about teaching me," she teased, although she started sifting through the grass around them to see if she could find the thing regardless. Truth be told, with how much backlash that thing seemed to have, Ashi wasn't even sure she wanted to know how to use it. It seemed to be more effective at killing the user more than anything else. It took a minute or two, but eventually, she found the slightly gross cyborg eye hidden under a nearby clump of grass. "Ugh," she groaned as she delicately picked up the admittedly pretty disgusting piece of technology before tossing it over to Yudi. "Wash that thing off before you put it back in your head," she instructed, "It's probably got all kinds of gunk on it, now."
