Karon's PL: 30k
Zhida's PL: 5k
Two ogres, one tall and blue, the other short and red, stepped out onto the busy streets of Cacumber from somewhere unseen. They stuck out like a pair of primary colored thumbs in the crowd of Saiyans, and drew quite a few stares as they appeared seemingly from nowhere. The younger ogre, Zhida, was oblivious to any looks they were getting, and it only served to make them even more of a spectacle. She stepped out into the middle of the busy street, eyes wide and mouth agape, clearly in awe of what she was seeing. This was it, the living world! The metal buildings reaching into the sky, the roads and airways abuzz with flying vehicles and people alike, and the sheer amount of individuals...it was nothing like they had back in Otherworld. It was amazing.
Meanwhile the elder ogre, Karon, was well aware of every eye on them, but he didn't pay it any mind. Many years of flitting back and forth between the worlds got him used to being an oddity to most people. There was no planet ogres were native to, after all. Putting on his enchanted sunglasses, Karon strode over to his new protege and picked her up by the back of her vest.
"Karon, look!" She began, "Even the sky is different! Have you ever-- Aah!" She kicked her legs in the air as she was unceremoniously scooped up and carried across the street. Karon set her down on the sidewalk.
"Don't get run over." He told her gruffly, "And yes, I've been to Vegeta before. Been a while since I've hunted here, though..." He looked around the city street through his magicked lenses to try and get a read on his quarry. There were plenty of decently strong warriors here, but nothing scale-breaking like he'd expect from a former Super Saiyan. Maybe Kalabas knew how to hide himself, or maybe he'd already left...both options made his search a little harder.
Something else caught his attention, though. Not numbers in his lenses, but something more vague. An itch in the back of his head, hairs standing on the back of his neck. It was the general feeling of uncanny wrongness he got from the undead, but something was unusual about it that he couldn't put his blue finger on. Was it his quarry, or something else? Only thing to do was go check it out, he supposed. He started off down the street in that direction and, when he realized Zhida wasn't at his side, turned and barked, "Kid! Stop gawking or I'll leave you behind."
The red ogre jolted, "Y-yessir!" and scurried along to keep pace with Karon's longer strides. He sighed inwardly and continued on, not bothering to correct her this time.
