The bartender was clearly quite amused with Kumas little drunken outburst about the proposition of a tournament with all of those present here in the bar- having to stifle a fit of laughter as the other bar-goers stared at the intoxicated Saiyan with looks a mixture of confusion and annoyance. Quickly facing the entire audience to whom she had so quickly addressed, Dion began to wave his hands in signal of not to worry. "Sorry ladies and gents," The young Saiyan male began as he pointed toward the bottle and then to Kuma while she had been laughing and giggling offhandedly. "I mean, I'm sure you've seen this scene play out before, yeah-? Go on, return to your business- she ain't hurting nobody, she's just getting a tad bit tipsy is all." After those watching had turned back to their own drinks, Dion sighed a bit, turning back to address Kuma again just in time to catch her requesting that he take her out to one of these tournaments one of these days. In reply, Dion simply said, "Don't go scheduling things while basically drunk now, that sounds like a recipe for disorganized chaos. Trust me. Never works out. And to be fair, you did mention you were related to royalty- perhaps they really did hear of your arrival and went to go wet their beds, yeah-?" He was only kidding of course, but he couldn't help but humor the girls high and mighty way of thinking. Truly a Saiyan through and through.
Speaking of her relations to royalty, Dion listened intently as Kuma brought up her cousin once more- only because she's barely mentioned her and he'd like to know more about the only family she's aware she's got besides her own parents. He had quite many a question to ask Kuma about her, and upon hearing that she was older yet weaker than aforementioned cousin, he tried to remedy the jealousy a bit- saying, "Well, again, to be fair you were dead for quite the long ass amount of time- don't be too down on yourself okay? How were you supposed to know you were coming back and thus had to prepare? Besides, I'm sure the power gap isn't that far between you too. Plus, you seem like quite the hard worker as well- a few good training sessions here and there, whether it be with me or by yourself is your choice, and then hopping back into battle for a bit, and you'll have caught up with her before you know it-! Then you can rub it in...huh, what is your cousin's name anyways? For future reference, and who knows- maybe if I see her at a bar somewhere, I can ask her about you."
Upon seeing her phone number, Dion quickly snapped a picture of it- adding her to his contacts immediately afterward as she began to inform him about how the afterlife deities worked. Kais, demons, ogres, oh my, it was all quite confusing to the novice of not living. Then again, he's never been dead before, nor does he plan on visiting the great ever after for quite a while, so why would he even ask about it-? Perhaps he was just looking for something to get Kumas mind off of the stresses of life. Or maybe he was starting to wonder about life after death. Who knows? The big takeaway he had from that whole ordeal was not to be bad, and he pretended to be mock upset as he placed a melodramatic hand on his chest, saying, "Oh, lil' ol' me? Doing bad? The nerve of you to even suggest such a thing-! And I thought I knew you, Kuma.." A large teasing grin was plastered on his face throughout the whole act, to ensure that he was only joking of course.
The thing that she said next really did get him thinking though- that not everybody was gonna be a cool exciting space pirate or a champion of the universe or whatever. It wasn't so the prospect of becoming something of that nature that attracted him, but perhaps the prospect of not achieving anything worthwhile within his lifetime. At the moment, he began to feel something tug at his heart, something telling him that he secretly craved more, something to leave his mark on-
And suddenly, he was broken from his sudden train of thought as Kuma poked him right in the chest, forcing a small "whuh" from his mouth as he heard her remind he that he needed to remember their promised sparring session. Smiling warmly, began to crack his neck a bit, saying in response to her needing to get somewhere else, "Yeah, probably the best idea for ya currently. Though flying while under the influence isn't something I'd suggest. You sure you can find some place to sleep off the drunkenness on your own? I can go with you if you'd like."
