Kraktus walked through the streets an icepack pressed against his head. He had been in a fight and man was he getting rung out a bit. Of course he also needed to focus on recovery. Though he was not recovering much when his anger was overwhelming. Just walking around this city pissed him off. Just a year ago or so this city had been crushed under the might of the stargoons and the WTF. Now? It was a place of happiness and joy. Kraktus grumbled under his breath as he walked across the street. He needed someone to bother or talk to. He was bored out of his mind just walking around Satan City. Kraktus was about to leave to head to North city where he could do some evil Yoga but he picked up a power nearby with his scouter "Hmm that is quite a lot." Kraktus was curious now and flew to the outskirts of Satan City to see what was going on. He'd fly over and land looking around for the large power his scouter had just picked up.

SATAN COMES TO TOWN
Pepper's PL: 12 | Ursa's PL: 27,400 | Items: None
"No." Pepper said sternly, a trace of irritation lacing the girl's voice as she stared with unwavering resolve at the teddy-bear sized Plexbit below her. It was late in the evening, after school hours and with no Crop Co. shift scheduled for today. Despite her reservations, Pepper had been trying to take Ursa out more and more into the open so the android could learn how to act and behave around other people. As of now, they were still on the very outskirts of the city given that she didn't want any classmates or co-workers to accidentally bump into her only to find out that she has a small bear-bot. Hence why they were situated in an archaic public park, placed right next to a Dunker's Dough shop.
A hot steaming coffee sat next to her, half empty, as Ursa flailed her arms miserably. Why? Pepper had denied the Plexbit's probe about getting to wander on her own. Especially after the incident she caused in that bar - breaking enough bottles to warrant a vandalism felony charge with how much Zeni was casually tossed out the window. Safe to say, Pepper was not pleased with that news, and despite these new tests of freedom, she was adamant about not letting Ursa out of her sight for any reason whatsoever. She'd learned by now that Ursa unfortunately had a very visible Power Level despite being mechanical (something about the Crop Co. parts used in making her).
This meant anyone with the talent (or the money to buy a scouter) could inadvertently detect and pinpoint Ursa's location, given that she had no way of masking it. From her talks with a few people, it seemed that skilled fighters had the power to artificially make their Power Level appear lower, allowing them to blend in with the general populace when not actively in fight. Such a skill would undoubtedly prove very, very useful for her - well, Ursa. Not getting accosted by strong Aliens every other hour searching for the source of the power would be nice. Pepper was just glad none of them meant bad news, and prayed to Kami that it would continue to be so. She didn't exactly have the resources, skill, experience, or... anything really needed for a fight.

Kraktus scouter picked up the power once more. Kraktus landed where his scouter was telling him too which was in a park. The man's eyes wandered the park seeing not too many people were here. That was good for him he didn't want to deal with the crowd he just wanted to see who had this powerlevel. He was always keeping an eye out for those who could be good soldiers in his army. Kraktus walked over to Pepper and some bear-like robot. Kraktus tilted his head in thought as he looked over the two not speaking a word. Then he checked his scouter in order to get a firm reading of the two. The girl would be first and Kraktus snorted. <12> was strong for a human but other than that she was super weak. He'd check the robot to be sure and it turned out the creature's power was <27,400>. Kraktus nodded rubbing his chin. "So you're the one my scouter picked up," Kraktus grunted. He'd looked at Pepper. "I assume the robot is yours. Tell me your name and how you created this machine." He was curious at least, he had seen many strong machines. She may be weak but maybe she could create more of these robots for him.

Pepper's PL: 12 | Ursa's PL: 27,400 | Items: None
Pepper said nothing at first, merely resisting the urge to curl into a ball and scream in frustration. Out of nowhere came an Alien guy who looked like he crawled up from the depths of the ocean, sporting weird-looking armor and looking over them with a familiar device on his eye. A scouter. Similar to the one she'd seen in person when the Arcosian Aurora also paid her a visit. Which meant, this new dude probably detected URSA's Power Level and decided to swing by. Not very good for her, especially if he wanted to fight or something. She didn't know what it was with all these random people thinking that challenging other strong people to just... fight in the street was okay, but Kami it was annoying.
Still, she knew better than to be dismissive the moment words were exchanged. She had no way of measuring this guys' power whatsoever, and angering the wrong dude could land in her in the ER with more than a handful of broken bones. He at least got straight to the point with his questioning, though something about the squid guy's whole demeanor threw her off... she just couldn't pinpoint what exactly that what was. "Mine? Oh no, it is property of the Crop Co. subsidiary in town." Pepper lied easily. "It's a Plexbit, a smaller version of the type of robot that the president has. ...It also comes with built in security features, if need be." It wasn't exactly a threat so much as it was a warning that if he tried anything, it wouldn't end effortlessly.

Kraktus grunted when she explained it was not hers but owned by Crop Co. That damned company always pissed him off it was unfortunate she already worked for Carro. Guess he had to give up on the idea of getting her to work for him. Kraktus was still at least curious though of her machine. If it was made by Crop Co yet it seemed cobbled together. Would they make something that would be so badly crafted? Though her point was made clear, her robot was much the same as Leo. Krkatus eyes narrowed as he remembered the damn robot. She had launched him into the goddamn moon and was not someone he had much care for. The question was now why would Crop Co of given her. “Tell me I am a bit curious. Someone like you does not strike as someone working for the company. Yet you have this robot which looks like it a bit of a mess.” Kraktus calmly crossed his arms over his chest. “So they gave you that hunk of junk and for what reason would they do such a thing?" Kraktus asked.

Pepper's PL: 12 | Ursa's PL: 27,400
"Hey!" Pepper said indignantly. "I am a proud employee, I'll have you know. I might not be terribly important, but I'm not terribly unimportant either." The Alien then had the gall to insult Ursa and her admittedly trashy look, commenting on how the Plexbit didn't seem to really be something from Crop Co. "It's a prototype." She replied, sniffing. "Why test your best material on something when you don't even know if its' going to work? That was the philosophy behind this Plexbit, after all." She resisted the urge to bite back on the 'hunk of junk' comment, simply opting to play it extremely safe and to avoid souring this guy's mood even further. She didn't want a fight on her hands, after all.
URSA in the meantime hadn't been idle, the bear-bot glaring hostilely at Kraktus as is stuck close to Pepper's person in an attempt to protect her from this unknown threat. As before, she couldn't gauge Power Level. Neither could Pepper. That didn't mean she wouldn't take every single encounter with a stranger dressed like this seriously! This guy just had a vibe about him that screamed 'bad news', and URSA didn't like it. Not one bit. The only thing holding her back from downright attempting to forcefully driving the squid man off was Pepper's attempts at diplomacy, the android not wanting to undermine her creator's work.

Kraktus shook his head. "Yes, you are. You're not important to me. In the scale of the universe if you're of little importance to me then your worthless. I get to decide the value of people and things. That why I was brought here." Kraktus sneered. Then she made note that Plexbit was just some sort of Prototype. She wanted to hold back on creating the perfect machine for a test. "So you were intellectual curious so you made this trash compactor," Kraktus said looking over at Ursa. The machine seemed to be looking at him with intent. "Hmmm?" Did it have the same thoughts as something like Leo or was it not alive like that. Leo seem to be separate from Carro so maybe this had the same technology. Kraktus didn't know but he grinned. "Ok, I can see it." All of a sudden he swings his leg out to punt Ursa not hard just to knock it off its feet just to see what it would do if he did attack it. "Opps." Kraktus sarcastically said from under his beard.
