Kraktus scanned a radar he had taken from some dragonball hunter and now he was using it to look for the dragonballs. He really didn't want to use them, he thought of them as weapons of the weak. A tool for someone who need a crutch to stand upon. Yet, Kraktus knew that he couldn't let the "Good" or the "Bad" have them. If someone good got them they could use it to increase their power even more putting him at a disadvantage. If someone bad took them that was not him they could rally all others to their cause seeing as many would think they were quite powerful and cunning. No Krkatus could not allow it and for his pride he needed to have the dragonballs. Kraktus had located someone who had the dragonballs at least and was getting ready to meet them. It was some lonely beachfront with water as far as the eye could see and a beach filled with spiked stones and rocks. It was not somewhere anyone went to relax. Maybe they were training or just trying to get some sun without the crowd. This spot would certainly do the spot. He'd then check his scouter to find exactly where on this beachfront this figure was and how strong they were. He didn't want to be in the dark as he bet a fight was going to start. He doubt anyone would just give him the dragonball.

The humid climate wasn’t so bad once getting used to. Dosu was in no position to complain either way. It provided him with good shelter from the elements given the constant nature of the temperature in these parts, but above all, it provided him a shelter from the people. Rare were the souls coming around here. It helped him rest a bit easier knowing he wasn’t in the constant anxiety of finding out if someone was after his dragon ball, the sole glimmer of hope in this otherwise desperate situation.
Whenever it was too hot, he’d go cool down in the water. Otherwise, he’d try and get some rest in this abandoned shack he found. Things…really weren’t going his way nowadays. Each day, he was realizing that his condition had worsened, be it by prolonged coughing episodes or just general tiredness. Sometimes, he felt as though he was getting delirious, but that was probably due to the temperature mixed with the permanent fever. Nonetheless, he had no intention of giving up. He owed it to the Stargoons to fight for his life so that he could be alongside them. He wouldn’t let this world his fate without fucking it up properly first.
While he couldn’t sense energy, he had a bad feeling about what was going to happen. What if someone had found him? Sadly, he could only wait until then.

Kraktus finally picked up the large power and exactly where it was. His scouter picked up a powerlevel of <100,000>. "That is not bad at all." Kraktus was still wondering who it was but still, it was going to be a fight to be sure. Kraktus then arrived at where Dosu was he looked at him shocked to see the man. He didn't expect him to be hunting the dragonballs. The Stargoons worked for him while was he not aware of this. Krkatus sighed as he did know he had been long for a while. Did he expect him to disspear? "I see," Krkatus spoke waving at Dosu. "I was looking for you because it seems you have a Dragonball. May I ask why you would want one." Kraktus said narrowing his eyes. If Dosu was betraying him in some way he'd crush the Hera warrior without a thought. But he'd at least give the man some time to explain why he of all people needed the wish-granting orbs.

A presence soon made itself manifest. Somehow, he should’ve felt at east seeing his current contractor Kraktus appear in from of him, but he remained on his guard. After all, why was he here in the first place? And in his state, if something was to happen, could he really do anything? Conceding the dragon ball meant giving up on his future, something he could simply not do. That’s why he remained on the defensive, waiting for something to happen.
There was something ominous about his question, but at least he made his intentions clear. Kraktus, too, was after the Dragon Balls. What was he supposed to do? He had never planned on seeing him this soon and the idea of telling him his sob story was bothering him a lot. That sucked.
“What do you think?” he spoke in a raspy tone. “I need them. My past is catching up with me. It’s a matter of life and death. I need to wish for my body to be returned to its best state. If not, then I won’t be long for this world.”
It angered him to be forced into a pathetic situation. Explaining it was only twisting the blade into the wound, forcing him to be confronted with his problems while he only wanted to forget them, if only for a short while.

Kraktus looked down Dosu as he sat there looking all down and out. What he had to say gave Kraktus pause. "The end huh?" Kraktus said looking at the man. He could understand wanting to go back. To gain the power he had as a youth and to avoid death. There were many people including himself that wished they had more time to do what was needed. They could not pretend to wait. They had to get the ability to stay around as long as they needed to do their mission. He could understand the plight of Dosu. "So your dying and you wish to stay alive longer. That is why you desire the dragonballs." Kraktus sat down eying Dosu. "I am sorry to hear that." Kraktus genuinely spoke. "We were going to have so much time to work together." Kraktus rubbed his beard in thought. "You are valuable to me alive fighting with the goons but many forces hunt the balls. You will no doubt be unable to get your wish. Tell me how long you have to live. There may be other ways to prolong your life other than the dragonballs. I am more than happy to use my resource to find that resource." He had a feeling the answer was merely the dragonballs. He could reverse injuries and other pains but time? Time itself was beyond his power. IF he was turning older and his body breaking down he had a little to help him with.

He didn’t mind Kraktus’ honesty as much as he thought he would. If anything, he was right in every way possible. The whole idea of him going for the dragon balls was overly stupid and he had no support. His only ally was luck, should it dare shine down on him. But, even so, he was going to do it anyway. It was a visceral calling, a wish that spawned of both desire and necessity. Healing meant recovering what was forcibly taken from him. Recovering his youth meant taking his life into his own hands once again and with this life of his, he’d finally be able to show the world his true value. Take revenge on all of those who looked down on him. Reinstate the menace that he once was. The likeliness of him succeeding was not even worth taking into account. Still, that slim, almost infinitesimal possibility was worth the risk. What could he lose, anyway? All he had was falling apart. Friendships and his own health. Some were by choice, others by the harsh nature of this world. Looking back was pointless, staying still would only have him disappear with nothing more than a whisper. Truly, the only way to go was forward. If that meant, meeting his fate sooner, well, maybe it would be a good thing.
His boss’ questions did get him thinking, but what he saw between the lines didn’t please him nearly as much. “How should I know that? I should’ve probably died long ago. But here I am, still. Everything hurts, but I’m still able to fight. That’s all that matters, really.”
So, to Kraktus, it all boiled down to Dosu being of use to him. He shrugged it off. I did not expect empathy, in fact it would’ve been weirder probably to have him feel something for his underling. He enjoyed that divide between him and most other people he knew, aside from the Stargoons. It made separation much easier to deal with, on top of being what he was used to.
“There’s no other way.” He replied. “I am not to become a thing just to keep on fighting. All I care about is myself and my own strength. I won’t enhance myself artificially just to further some agenda. If I am to do it, then it has to be on my own terms.”
He loathed all of those cyborgs and technologically empowered beings. While he did have a grudge against the world, he felt as though he didn’t care enough about his body to go through such lengths. Not that he lacked convictions or anything, but doing it in any other way wouldn’t feel right by him. It’s not taking matters into your own hands if there’s barely anything left of you, after all.
“Unless you know of some miracle cure somewhere in the galaxy, then there’s no other way. The only magical cure I know is the Dragon Balls. Maybe there’s something, somewhere, but I don’t have the time to spare to find that out. I’m not smart enough to try and think outside the box. I only know how to fight and bulldoze my way through. So…that’s what I’m gonna do. If it kills me, then that’s it. I wasn’t strong enough to stand the test of time.”
Then, he realized that Kraktus, too, was looking for the dragon balls. For what reason? What use did he has for them?
“But you did not come here only to hear me say that, did you? You’re looking for the Dragon Balls as well. What could you possibly wish for? More power? But as powerful as you might be, you’re still only one man. Look, whether you help me or not, that’s up to you. I’m still going to do it regardless. But if you help me get my wish, it could be in your best interest as well. Not only would you be gaining the favor of the Stargoons outside of a monetary standpoint, but I could easily become your best asset.”

Kraktus stared at Dosu as he admitted he didn't know why he was dying but he knew he should have died a long time ago. "Then destiny has decided your death is not yet to come." Yet he could understand he was in pain and he felt his life ebbing away. If he was in that position perhaps he'd consider getting the dragonballs. Yet Kraktus knew he'd not get them and even if he did Kraktus should snatch them. He'd not allow such a useless wish but he'd not tell Dosu such a thing. Kraktus then made it clear he didn't want to use any method to increase his lifespan. Though he said artificially and not through other means. "I was not thinking like technology but more like using magic that not as extreme as the dragonballs to restore your youth. The dragonballs power is absolute but they are other means." Kraktus crossed his arms with confidence over his chest.
Dosu seemed confident that he had no time the only way to fix himself was to get the dragonballs. "Hmmm." Krkatus rubbed his chin. He did have a point that he prehaps did not have time but he could not be confident. "I think you need to find a doctor. I want you to find a good doctor and ask him what your life diagnosis is. If your time is that short then I shall help you get the dragonballs." Then Dosu asked what he could wish for since he was looking for the dragonballs. "I want to collect them so no one else collects them. I want to wish for the dragonballs to be thrown out of existence. But considering you are a stargoon then you are correct I should help you. Alright." Kraktus sighed. "Got any leads on the other dragonballs."
