Kraktus ship flew through the air as he stood at the front watching as they passed by everything. Bringing his ship out for a ride was not a good idea but he loved his ship. He didn’t spend Billions of WTF Zeni’s to not fly his ship around and inspire fear in all of his foes. That was the one good thing about Chili's rule he didn’t micromanage the money he was taking for military campaigns. Kraktus was right now still looking around for the dragonballs. He knew that once place to find them was the lookout. He heard that the god of this planet may or may not live in this tower. Of course, he needed to inspire fear of the man just another reason to bring his ship. He’d look down as ship arrived near the lookout. “Alright time to land.” He’d turn off the ship and laughed as the mass of metal launched down towards the ground.
As the last moment, he turned the ship back on causing a shockwave to be shot out from the ship tearing trees and the ground nearby into cinders. “Bahahaha that was good. It is always fun to do that.” Kraktus grinned playfully. He’d then let his ship land. The back door opened up and he quickly flew out. He really needed a crew to do all this but the last time he had one he let them die out in space. Maybe he needed to get a bit less sadistic. Nah that would be boring, he was going to keep going the same. Kraktus then looked up towards the top of the lookout. He’d check his scouter he was expecting a large power at the top and hopefully he’d find it. He was pretty sure his show had attracted some type of attention and he was not trying to hide his power.

Chime's PL: 100 (Suppressed from 112k)
Just when Chime had begun to feel comfortable in the quiet state that Earth was in lately, he received a half-dozen rude visits in as many days. Not literally, of course, it had been more spread out, but that's how it felt. He was standing out on the Lookout conjuring tiles to repair the hole in the floor from his last 'visit', a young Saiyan crash-landing his pod straight into the place. The damage had all been superficial, thankfully. Chime straightened up to stretch from the hunched pose he'd been in, just in time to see another ship on the horizon. It was much, much larger than a pod, and coming closer...but luckily, not on a collision course. It landed somewhere far below the Lookout.
The young Namekian went to the edge of the Lookout to peer over it, but of course he couldn't see much, for all the clouds. He can feel it, though. A small chunk of forest has its life snuffed out (he winces and silently apologizes to Synthesia), accompanied by a singular, powerful individual, more powerful than himself. Chime had grown to be fairly strong in his time as Guardian, but there were still many who were far stronger, like the stranger far below. He didn't get a good feeling about whoever it was, with an entrance like that.
Instead of go down to meet them, he reached out to them telepathically, making his voice as bold and ominous as he could:
"Interloper! If thou would seek the Kami, thou must climb the tower of ten thousand feet and prove thyself worthy." He had no idea how tall the Senbyo tower really was, but ten thousand sounded like a good, impressive number.

Kraktus looked up as he felt a voice fill his head. Someone claiming he must climb ten thousand feet in order to prove himself worthy. "Does this god think he is better than me." Kraktus snorted. He'd not go through with such a stupid challenge. Forsakes he could just fly to the top. Kraktus floated slightly off the ground and judged the distance with his scouter to the highest powerlevel in terms of feet above the ground. It was merely <100> which he thought was too low. Was really the power of a god. Krkatus snapped his face into malice when he thought of himself. "If God is this weak I am gonna crush him into dust and scatter those ashes across the universe!" Kraktus aura exploded out anger surging from every part of his body. He blasts to the top of the tower and stops when he saw the figure that sat on the edge. It was a Namekian brat. "Oh, I've never met you before." Kraktus snorted. "So your suppose to the god of this planet. Some jobs you have been doing. Protecting your own planet while the universe suffers. Guess it is your job though to protect these mongrols. So why do it hmm?" Guess he'd ask the simple questions first before he went on to pod the boy into mush.

Yep, that got them angry. Just like Chime had been figuring. Anyone that made an entrance like that probably wasn't willing to go through ancient, exhausting ritual just to talk to someone. So when the powerful energy approached the Lookout faster and faster, Chime simply folded his hands behind his back and stood there at the edge, waiting. Soon the visitor (Invader? He wasn't sure yet) arrived, a large alien with tentacles for a face. Chime had never seen someone like this before, but he kept his expression neutral, even as this squid-man berated him for his job as 'god.'
"Oh, I'm sorry," He replied, in a tone just as neutral as his expression. It was the voice of a shop clerk trying to calmly help an unruly customer as they demand ridiculous things, "You're a bit mistaken. I'm not the Kami, I'm merely his assistant...Jingle." Coming up with stellar names wasn't a requirement for being Guardian of Earth. He just assumed that this squid-man didn't know the Kami's real name, and wouldn't see through the lie. "It's my job to screen everyone that visits the Lookout. The Kami is a very busy person, taking care of a whole planet and all, so I'm here to make sure his time isn't wasted."
'Jingle' waved his hand and materialized a notebook into it, and then a pen in the other. He clicked the pen and began writing in the book, "Now, what was the concern you wanted to bring to the Kami? I need to note it for our records."

Kraktus looked down at Chime as the Namekian finally decided to speak. The man was supposed to be someone called Jingles. Kraktus frowned under his beard at the name. "Jingle. Like the song Jingle Bells by Freezer Clause." That what they called him on Arosce anyway. It was pretty stupid but he had to know all the holidays being a general. So when someone told him as such they were on break cause of the holiday he could blast them to ash. No one had any sort of breaks during a war they were fighting every day and night. The man explained his job to screen people to be on the lookout. Kraktus sighed deeply. "I see well this seems to be mandatory." Kraktus shuffled his hands into armor. "Let me see here ah Yes I have something for you."
Kraktus would bring his right hand out his middle finger aimed directly at the man. "If I kill you that really piss off your guru yes? It'd send quite the message I assume. I am not one for having some so weak trying to boss me around I am gonna kill you and then talk to your guru." Kraktus focused his Pyshic energy into his middle finger. With how weak this man seemed to be he'd easily be able to blast him through the lookout and kill him with a weak attack such as this. No need to show off his abilities to the guru. Then a wave of energy escaped his finger attempting to slam into Chime and hurl him through the lookout though it was quite weak. Anyone of great strength could easily resist such an attack.

Chime nodded along as the squid-man spoke, and kept his air of polite indifference up as much as he could. "Really? Hm. Well I don't know about a song, but jingle bells are my namesake. The actual bells, of course. Now, what did you...?" He prompted again, hoping to get some explanation for the visit. The man reached into his armor, and Chime assumed it was to get something. Maybe he had some magical artifact he wanted the Kami to examine? Or...maybe a dragon ball?
He could only blink as the universal gesture of 'screw you' was waved in his face. ...Ah. Well then.
A beam of energy shot out from the alien's finger and Chime reacted on instinct. His notebook and pen vanished in a puff of smoke, and he raised his hand to defend himself. Blue ki surrounded his open hand as he swatted the blast out of the air, it wasn't powerful enough to warrant a full-on shield. He leaped back, but in that moment of defense, Kraktus would see his energy spike, if he was still looking through his scouter. Not to anything close to being a match, but compared to the strength 'Jingle' was sporting otherwise, the power jump was dramatic. As soon as he leaped back and had his footing again, his energy levels settled to where they'd been before.
Chime frowned at him. He was obviously annoyed now, but continued with his facade of Kami's secretary, "Excuse me, sir! No one's killing anyone. I may not be as strong as our Guardian, but I don't take things lying down," The notepad and paper rematerialized with a wave of his hand, "Now, if I could have your name to add to our blacklist, that would be appreciated."
Chime's Energy Suppression briefly slips. His PL reads as 500 instead of 100 for just a moment!

Kraktus watched as his energy was blocked by this fool. His scouter did blink to alert him to a power increase but the power increase was so small he paid it little mind. Kraktus knew now this Jingle fellow knew how to control their power. He was pretty sure Jingle still had a lot more power. Jingle made him know he was going to be on the blacklist and Krkatus shrugged. "You are going to be a casket in a bit so it won't really matter." Kraktus shrugged. Then Kraktus aura exploded around him as he aimed two fingers at Jingle. "I am just going to attack with real force this time." Kraktus then fired a beam of purple energy at Jingles aiming to this time use all his force and get rid of the annoying assistant.

Chime continued to watch this intruder with a stern expression. This tentacle-faced man sure talked a big game, but he had yet to do anything truly threatening. That first attack had been next to nothing, and would've just been a tickle even if Chime hadn't blocked. At least, when he was at full power and not suppressing his energy like he was now. He knew he couldn't keep up the ruse of weakness for much longer, but he still held on to it for the moment. He wanted the full reveal to be on his terms, and to his advantage.
There was no time for a quippy response before the next attack came, nearly identical to the first, but stronger. The notepad and pen were tossed aside and de-materialized yet again, and this time the ki shield took both hands to keep up. Chime's energy didn't fluctuate like the first time, though. He was expecting an attack now, so he wasn't caught by surprise and was able to keep his concentration. The shell of blue ki dissipated and Chime still stood there, unscathed.
"That's your real force? I have to say I'm disappointed." Chime taunted. He could sense that this squidman was much stronger, of course, and assumed he had more tricks up his sleeve, unless he was unusually weak in offense, "What was that you said about a coffin?" And he waved one hand into the air, white sparkles trailing from his fingers. Kraktus would notice a shadow suddenly engulf him, and if he looked up he would see a coffin floating above him in the air, freshly materialized by 'Jingle's' magic. Gravity would take hold after a second, bringing the coffin falling down upon him, open and ready to swallow him up if he didn't move. It was only wood, of course. Even if he did get caught in it, he could easily bust out of it with his strength. Chime meant it to annoy his enemy, more than anything.

Kraktus eyed this man Jingle as it seemed his attack did no damage. This time there was no increase in power from his scouter. What the hell was going on? Clearly, this manpower was massive but he was somehow hiding it. Krkatus was getting a bit angered by these games. "Yes that is my real force but you're clearly using a trick to hide your true power your not all that cleaver you know Jingles." Kraktus looked up as the man formed a large coffin to drop down on him. "Hmmm?" The General flexed his left hand as a barrier of Pyshic energy formed around him as the coffin smashed into it and shattered in shards of woods. "I suppose the gloves can be taken off now. You're clearly strong." Krkatus aura shot around a mix of purple and black ki radiated from him. He'd turned to face Jingle and quickly moved towards him. It was time to take this to real combat. He'd not be fooled by his powerlevel trick twice. He had seen it before in Bloom so it was nothing too new. The only thing was finding out his true power. Yet, he'd find that soon enough as he attempted to Slam his fist into Chime's gut before slamming him back down into the lookout floor.

The conjured coffin quickly became a shower of wood chips instead, to no one's surprise. Chime used the moment of distraction to hop back across the tiles and get some distance from his opponent. It seemed this squidman had figured out his little trick, and it took all of Chime's self-control not to smirk. Instead, his face took on an almost comically deep frown to compensate.
"You're smarter than you look," 'Jingle' replied, and before he could say anything more, Kraktus was on him again, aura blazing black and purple. Obviously not the colors of a nice person, but that was news to nobody at this point. He was fast, faster than Chime could keep up with in his suppressed state. A purple fist slammed into the Namekian's guy, producing a pained 'oogh' and a spray of spittle. His little green body was thrown down onto the tiled floor, and he let out another pained groan, but even though it hurt, he knew he would be alright. The Kami was made of sturdier stuff than that.
Chime rolled aside and scrambled to his feet before he could be hit while he was down. He wiped his mouth with the back of his wrist, "Ngh, okay. Gloves off, right?" And then he clenched both fists, puffed his chest out, and shouted with all his might in the same way he'd seen so many martial artists and warriors do when they powered up. Chime never saw much of a point in all the yelling, himself, but if it helped his show here then so be it. His aura flared blue around him as his power grew and grew exponentially from what he suppressed it to previously...but still nowhere near what it truly was.
After a second he stopped his little transformation sequence, panting with the effort of all that yelling, "Okay! My full power! You'll regret trying to mess with my boss! HAH!" He threw his hand forward and a thin bean of blue ki shot out at Kraktus, not that dissimilar from the man's own attack earlier.

"Thank you lots of people say that before they die." Kraktus laughed as Chime attempt to insult him. His punch connected quite well and sent Chime flying back from the blow. He was clearly hurt but that seemed to not be enough to kill him. The man even was able to get back to his feet and made it clear that now he was going to get serious. Kraktus cracked his knuckles as he got ready to attack. His scouter beeped to life as Chime's power was increasing and it was around <60,000>. Kraktus was not that impressed. He had seen a lot of strong powers nowadays. 60,000 use to be quite strong but now it was just whatever. Then Chime yelled out it his full power and now he was gonna attack. He fired off a thin bean of energy. Kraktus formed a barrier of energy around himself to block the beam though he did slide back slightly. "Not bad but it not really worth my time!" Krkatus launched himself at Chime. His hand turned purple with ki before he swung forward. A crescent of Purple energy was sent out attempting to blast Chime away once more.

Perfect.
As that purple crescent of ki came flying towards Chime, the Namekian allowed himself a satisfied smile. This was exactly what he had wanted. This time, he made no move to block or avoid the attack. Instead, he let go of the focus he'd been maintaining all this time. The tight hold he'd had over his energy was released, and his aura flared out around him, like a dam burst open with water. Kraktus' scouter reading would climb and climb until it peaked a bit above <330,000>. The flood of power happened in an instant; the crescent attack was still coming, and even as it did, Chime lifted one arm to point at his opponent. A pinpoint of blue appeared on his fingertip, then shot out as a beam towards Kraktus. At the same moment, Kraktus' attack struck, twisting Chime to the side a bit from sheer momentum and scorching him a bit, but he'd suffered far worse. The Kami was sturdy, despite his small frame, and he stood firm.
There were no witty remarks this time, just the smug expression that came from a plan going exactly as he'd wanted it to. ...Well, ideally that attack would throw Kraktus off the Lookout, never to bother him again, but Chime somehow doubted that. Taking the squidman by surprise would make him happy, though. Regardless of what would happen next, Chime held both hands at the ready once again: one glittering white with magic, the other pulsing blue with ki.

Kraktus watched his attack fly off but Chime power was climbing. "Hmmm." Kraktus checked his scouter in surprise as Chime power had skyrocketed to over <300,000!>. So he was holding back this much. Kraktus attack was not going to do much when Chime fired off a powerful attack right back at him. The beam flew through the air right at him. "Hmmm!" As the beam neared him Kraktus disappeared at the last minute reappearing in the air above the lookout. "Hhhhhhhhhh." Kraktus took in a deep breath as he looked back down at the so-called Jingle. He was starting to assume that this guy maybe was not as he seemed. He sensed no other powers and he was pretty sure at this point the Kami would have come out. The man seemed to have prepared himself for a bigger fight. Kraktus floated down landing back on the lookout. "Not bad at all but that is not enough to throw me off the lookout." Kraktus swung his hand out sending a large Psychic wave out at Chime. Right now he was stalling so he could gather some ki. He was tired of playing this game he'd use his full power to get his way.

Chime grimaced as his target vanished and reappeared high above him, avoiding his attack completely. He hadn't really thought he could knock this squidman away with one blast, but it was nice to hope. But no, he'd have to time his strikes just right if he was going to have an effect. It was just a matter of waiting, and baiting his enemy into letting his guard down.
Kraktus touched down on the Lookout's tiles again, and wasted no time in launching his counter-attack. A wave of psychic force rushed out towards Chime and the Kami thrust forward a hand, the one pulsing blue with ki, to meet it. A half-shell of blue energy formed protectively in front of him and only existed for a second before it was collapsing inward from the psychic attack. Chime was pushed back a few feet from the force of it, his feet skidding along the tiles and kicking up dust. That hurt, but he was sturdy despite his size. He knew he could take more than a few hits like that and keep going, especially now that he wasn't holding back. ...Well, there was one more trick he had up his sleeve, but he didn't want to use that form unless he had to.
He lifted his arms again and fixed Kraktus with a sly grin. "Hey, come on. I thought we weren't holding back anymore! What was that?" It was an obvious taunt, but Chime hoped he would fall for it anyway. As he spoke, he lifted his arm to fire two blue bullets of ki towards Kraktus. They weren't as powerful as his last attack, more intended to annoy than anything else.

Kraktus attack he fired did nothing as Chime was able to block the attack with his own barrier. Kraktus could now confirm that Chime's power was really above his. He was going to need to transform. He wished he had a blutz generator so he could use his weaker form. Sadly he had not gotten around nor did he find the use. He might as well just overpower Chime. Since he had dodged that attack though, he needed to gather his ki. Kraktus flipped back. He growled as Chime taunt but he knew that he needed to recover. If he attacked and wasted energy might be in real trouble. The blasts that Chime fired slammed into Kraktus and sent him flying across the lookout. He was not really hurt by them but they were too fast for him to dodge. Kraktus raised his right hand as he focused his pyshic energy around Chime. He'd stall for a bit of time and then he'd take Chime down with his true power. He'd use his pyshic energy to pull parts of the lookout around Chime and put him a ball of stone and then chuck Chime and the ball into the building on the lookout.
