| NEW STUFF ABOUND! |
It was a satisfying feeling, Finn's skull barreling forward at high speeds and crashing right into the torso of the rapper man while he went on some obnoxious tirade. The crunch of ribs, at least, what he thought were ribs, was a pleasant sound to pick up in his audio receptors, and a pleased expression spread across Finn's face. He remained in place just long enough to do as much damage as he could muster, although before he could fly himself back out of range, two big, sweaty hands clasped themselves on the sides of his head, and attempted to swing him around with a not very impressive amount of force. Was this guy really that frail after that big show of killing a bunch of people and declaring himself as some sort o god? Finn was almost disappointed.
The young android rather easily broke from the rapper man's grip before he could be thrown at the magical anime girl's attack, and Finn flew himself leisurely out of the way, not even taking a single hit from the bolts of lightning that she'd shot out at planet man. If Xanadu was going to try something like that, he should've made sure he was at least half as strong as Finn was, and Finn could tell from his built in energy sensor that the rapper man wasn't even close to the android's strength. Other stuff happened, such as the cowboy Saiyan making his own moves, although in the end, they all ound themselves standing opposite Xanadu while he held a small child hostage. That was definitely a villain type move.
Finn pondered a couple of things he could do, tilting his head to the side and crossing his arms, which seemed to allow his internal processor to run faster for one reason or another. Outcomes after outcomes were calculated in his head, though in the end, the best outcome seemed to be to just let the guy go away so he wouldn't kill the human. Assuming he kept his word, that was. "Sure, that sounds fine," Finn said with a shrug. "You're not very fun to fight right now anyway, cause you're just so..." Finn tried to search for a word that was less insulting, though he quickly remembered he shouldn't have to worry about insulting a bad guy. "...Pathetic? But, yeah, you guys are cool with that too, right?" he asked, glancing over at the cowboy and the magical gilr. "Unless, of course, one o you wants to do somethin' stupid and get a kid killed."

Eyes narrowed as the Sheriff made a swift cut off of his power, ki aura dropping swiftly as duster settled around his calves. Half a snarl showing between black forest of beard, thumbs hooking into the scarlet sash around his waist. Power returned more subtle now, trickles and drops to fill his palms not unlike a gunslinger keeping his fingers tapping the hilt of a holstered revolver. "Aight son, you put that kid down and I'll let you go. Reckon' you know we can all turn you to slag in a moment, best you be movin' on." Sheriff lent over, mouth drawing back as he spit on the ground between himself and the disco planet man.
"Ya don't let the kid go, I'll be followin' ya to the point ya do. Nice and easy, and I figure it's obvious I can take ya on my own." He made a glance to the others around that had helped at least teach a small lesson for the day. Giving them all the evil eye before clicking the back of his teeth together in annoyance.
"Drop the kid and we'll let ya go. For this one, next time I'll be gunnin' for ya."
The Saiyan made a clear motion to ever so slightly step between planet and Shinjin, not knowing quite how she'd react to the change of events. Those fruit people were pretty random sometimes, might be her sense of duty overworked the sense of not lettin' some kid get wasted. "Goes for you too little sister, always got us another chance to put the bloke down six feet later, but It ain't gonna be over no kids blood, you got it?" Hopefully this wasn't about to degrade into a massive inner fighting too. Matching eyes with Finn, the Sheriff nodded his head in an agreement to back him up on making sure the child stayed safe.
"The blood of the guilty should never be paid by the blood of the innocent. Get goin', asshole."

Saiba snarled as Xanadu took hold of a small child and was using them as a shield against the group. "Damn it Xanadu, even for you this is low." she growled, but she sheathed her sword all the same across her back. "Leave the kid here and run. If you know what's best for you, you'll go back to the Dorellia Cluster and stay there this time." she said, keeping an eye on the child more than she was the planet in humanoid form. <It will be alright little one. We won't let him hurt you.> she sent to the hostage child via her telepathy before she focused her mind on the panic-stricken mother. <Your son will be alright miss. I swear it.>
With the hopefully helpful messages sent, she returned her focus to the bleeding planet in humanoid form. "Get moving Xanadu, and hopefully you've learned a valuable lesson here today about the sanctity of life. Try to overplay your hand, and life will bare its teeth and bite you back." she said, gesturing to the arrayed group that had effectively kicked Xanadu's interplanetary backside. This was someone though that was probably going to let this defeat fester in their soul, and would need to be watched out for in the future. Which she would definitely be doing, assuming she didn't get called back to the Sacred World and got into trouble with the rest of the Shinjin for her actions here today... or worse, one of the Kais.

"Reasonable people, makes sense since all yer heads are so big that some logic had to be hidden away there." Xanadu wasn't a fan of how this was turning out, there was absolutely no way he could fight back, but he hated that these assholes knew. There had a way to leave a mark, to show these earthlings that he was not someone to underestimate. Stepping back and pulling the child with him, he continued his usual barrage of insult-ridden rambles, all while dragging his pain-ridden foot as slowly as possible. If this was going to work, he was going to have to push through the pain. "Heh...you morons of course wouldn't touch me. Too scared of losing life you can't make the proper choice to save it in the long run. This isn't the end...you'll..uh...see me again..."
His broken bones were starting to descramble themselves back to place, forcing him into a state of immense suffering. Xanadu couldn't think of anymore generic lines to stall with, so he pulled a device out of his robe pocket. It appeared to be a pink remote, covered in decorative stones that Xanadu must of placed on them himself.
"Here's the real problem with y'all, besides not knowing how pointless this all is...you all lack any style here..."
Clicking a button, a holographic screen appeared behind him, blasting the instrumentals of a song it had scanned off the planet's local database. As the lyrics appeared Xanadu struggled to tap his toe, swaying from side to side as his grasp on the human got more vicious.
"I know there's pain. Why do you lock yourself up in these chains? No one can change your life except for you." Xanadu pointed dramatically at the Shinjin, his arm twisted in such a manner that it was surprising it was even still in place. "Don't ever let anyone step all over you. Just open your heart and your mind...is it really fair to feel this way inside?"
This was hell, but looking at the ground beneath him, this was working. To finish this off he'd have to make a lot of groundwork though, and he had to make sure to finish it before his body collapsed. Taking a breath, he continued to "hold on".
"Some day somebody's gonna make you want to turn around and say goodbye..." With every drum beat he shot a nearby human with his free hand, but his hold on the child still in place. He even danced a little, spinning as he ignored the pain, knocking some people over with the kid itself. He was hoping the shock of his actions, mixed with the risk of a murdered child on their hands if they did anything, the blood would be on them. With his half baked plan and a body in full shock before the real pain began, he kept going. "Until then baby are you going to let them hold you down and make you cry...? Hrm, I guess, don't you know? Don't you know things can change. Things'll go your way..."
With a graceful jump into the air like a ballerina at a grand opening, he landed and made a sweep on the ground with his foot. A glance at the ground shown that he had had done it, he had finished. Returning his attention to the "planet's defense force", he gave an exasperated smile. It took him a second to gather his breath, but there was no time to waste as they'd be sure to attack if he didn't leave now.
"Well, guess this is toodles."
Disappearing at a speed faster then most eyes could trace, Xanadu pushed his body to fly and made hastey escape. When the wind settled from his lifting body, the kid was left in his place. Of course, Xanadu had been sure to snap his neck in the second before he had gone. Along with the dead bodies lying around, a written message in what Xanadu tried to make look like his victim's blood (but clearly was his own thanks to the sheriff's attack) was made out to say "Booyah, suck it. Xanadu 4 ever, can't stop this planet, baby!", the bodies of those whose life were taken formed in such a way to make the exclamation. That's what his whole song and dance was about, a rather complicated exit note.
The child's left over corpse had the remote placed neatly on it, the screen shit projecting behind him as the song tampered off as the sole sound in the now mostly empty area.
"Make up your mind... Hold on... Hold on... Baby hold on..."

The planet was fast, but he was cocky. The Sheriff himself wasn't quick enough to save the kid, and it'd haunt him for time to come. But for now, things needed to happen. He'd already been half ready for if Xandu went back on the deal, he'd even expected it. Just to not that degree. One human went down from the angry, defeated planet alien's sudden attack. The Lawman was swift in shoving his body between the blasts and a group of people, arm's spread wide to shelter them from the move. The basic attacks did little more then singe his body, teeth grit in a hatred fueled growl. The moment the coward was gone, Kail dropped his guard. Doing a quick check to make sure as many earthlings as was possible were alright. Nobody really was, and he didn't blame them for being scared. Near death wasn't something most people expected at the best of times, and these were far from that.
"Alright dipshit, that's how you wanna play it." The Sheriff let a sigh out, glancing at the chaos suddenly caused. Spitting on the ground, he did what medical aid he could. He didn't look at the bodies, he had too much to do. The police and medical folk arrived sooner or later, and after flashing his badge the Sheriff was busy in conversation with the local police. Xanandu could look forward to having a wanted poster plastered in every major city now, at least. And the moment anyone saw him, especially after today's events when they hit the news, they'd be calling Kail personally to handle it. He didn't mind that, he was the only ki controller officer they had.
"Wanted Dead, no point taking him alive anymore." The police sergeant nodded grimly, writing it down for the printing presses. Even as the Sheriff finished the report and toke off, he glanced in the direction the alien had headed. Clicking his teeth together, dark eyes mentally adding up trajectory, injury, and just the general vibe. He turned and waved to both the odd other world girl, and the robot. Odd pair, but it was always nice to see some folk decent enough to help "Thanks for the help you lot, ever in the North swing by, always got time to feed some good folk." He tipped his hat before turning and getting ready to leave. Head back to the town, get some sleep after chuking so much power around. An alien and an Arcosian in the same week, for Kami's sake.
And with that, sapphire ki flared around him before The Sheriff took off for his office. The scene replayed in his mind a few times, he wasn't so cocky as to think he could change everything, all he could do was honor the living by growing stronger as rapidly as he could to prevent such things from happening. Although from now on, he knew exactly how he'd be handling assholes like that. The next trouble maker that crossed paths with the law man was bound to suffer at what a revenge fueled Saiyan can do.

"Damn it Xanadu!" she roared as he made his move, breaking the child's neck as he made his escape. She looked over towards the departing Sheriff and gave him a nod. "Take him down if you see him. I may not be allowed to kill him..." the Shinjin said, leaving the sentence unfinished and open to interpretation even though there was but a single one to take from it.
She rushed over to where the child's body was lying, the distraught mother kneeling nearby. "You said-" the woman began to say before Saiba laid her hands over the childs neck and head. "Silence and let me work." the blonde woman ordered, concentrating her energies through her hands.
Medical staff from the nearby hospital were already moving in to try and ascertain the extent of the damage, but the aura that Saiba was putting out from her fury towards Xanadu kept them away from her and the child. Slowly as her magics worked their way from her hands and into the boys body, his eyes began to flutter.
The mother caught her breath, a hand coming to her mouth as she watched Saiba work on her child and soon her patience was rewarded as the Shinjin pulled away, the boy waking up and looking around as if in a daze. "I promised you that no harm would come to your child..." said Saiba letting the mother cling to her restored child before she began to move from body to body, doing what she could for them as well, whether it was healing or helping their spirits to pass on to King Yemma's court.
It was going to be a long day...
