BACKGROUND: Born to an aristocratic family on one of the planets the Arcosian empire had conquered long ago, though not nearly as well known when compared to clans and planets owned akin to that of the Cold regime, Polarus lived a life of affluence and comfort, being born not necessarily a prodigy of combat but not at all any sort of pushover. Unlike the majority of his race, however, he was not raised in their more usual snobbish and condescending mannerisms when it came to other races. He wasn't exactly taught to treat everyone he met with kindness though either- Polarus was quite strictly raised on an eye for eye philosophy when it came to dealing with others, which transcended past any matter or question of race or any other trivial matter such as that, a mindset that he would take to heart all the way into the present day.
For a while, it seemed as though Polarus would come up to be a fair and suitable inheritor of his family's riches and kingdom- unyielding yet still evermore merciful to those who would dare oppose his rule and kind and near father-like when it came to appreciating those of whom that would smartly choose to side themselves along with he and his own beliefs. However, everything had changed when a group of Saiyans had seemingly crash landed on his beloved planet just a few days after his coronation. They were apparently attacked by a convoy of rogue Arcosians (he was quick to reassure them that this was no doing of his) and required a place to recuperate for a little while.
Upon first impressions, it did not seem that big of a fuss to make- the now Lord Polarus remaining skeptical yet all the more welcoming to the newcomers even as the rest of his people began to despise and distrust them from the beginning due to the two races not exactly having the best track records with each other. Still, trying to look past such hateful veils, Polarus attempted to help make the out of sorts Saiyans feel at home, even allowing for them to house themselves in his palace for the time being until they were able to contact home.
However, his faith was deathly misplaced.
It was as if someone had flipped a switch, and as soon as those barbaric Saiyan apes were fully recovered to peak physical condition, they began to wreak havoc across his home-land, Polarus only able to stop them with the assistance and sacrifice of nearly his entire military force. It was a massacre of epic proportions, one that left everlasting scars on him and his people both physically and emotionally that would never quite heal.
After having gone nearly mad from both the grief, guilt, and rage felt from such a horrific event- Polarus decided that it was time that his debts were repaid by the Saiyan race- specifically those of whom that would allow such a rag tag group of degenerate filth roam the cosmos without punishment, who he decided was the Saiyan Kingdom. He was still able to see past just race though, and was still level headed enough to realize that not all Saiyans would be as foolish as those that came before them.
But, overall, no matter what race or affiliation, if they were to dare pit themselves in the way on his warpath to vengeance for his slaughtered brethren, Polarus would send them to Hell along with the rest of them.
PERSONALITY: Being born into a family in such a well off standing such as his own, Polarus was bound to gain some characteristics as an aftereffect of such a life. He has a certain fondness for a life of great opulence, loving to have riches and estates beyond compare under his rightful rule, which fuels into a sort of superiority complex he imposes onto those who decide not to join him on his path toward vengeance. He handles problems caused by opposing forces with intellectual prowess and in serious manner, and while he is not one to overestimate his own abilities, the cold combatant does degrade and sometimes does underestimate his opponents to a certain degree. To those who he would consider his opposition, Polarus offers little to no remorse- treating them as a being with sociopathic tendencies would, and while he himself would never lower his own mentality to such a degree, Polarus could be considered a sociopath of sorts.
To whom would choose to align themselves with him though, he acts quite kindly and just to. As Cooler was to his own subordinates, Polarus to his own underlings is quite understanding, supportive, and patient with. Knowing that a king is only as good as the kingdom he rules, and without loyal subjects, his perfect empire would quickly collapse under the weight of its grandiose composition. He even goes as far as to assist his own servants in battle when he feels that they are hopelessly outmatched, as well as choosing to heed their advice on important manners which are usually in areas of combative expertise, which helps to fuel unyielding loyalty and trust within his ranks. Polarus is especially homely toward those of whom that he would consider a, friend. With all of the past traits of those amplified toward his companions, as well as a sense of respect and loyalty for being considered even close to an equal standing to someone as great as he.
Despite such things though, do not think him to be kind-hearted under the cold exterior, while he is not sadistic in nature, Polarus is indeed a ruthless killer. He takes amusement in breaking and outmaneuvering his opponents to ensure they go down easier in the end, as well as always loving seeing broken men fall further into pieces in the face of adversity. He never gets too overconfident though, he has seen too many foolish fall from such hubris.
To him, every fight is a game. And to win, is to completely obliterate the opposition.
TECHNIQUES:
OFFENSIVE/DEFENSIVE TECHNIQUES:
Overheating Magnetron [A1]: Polarus swings his fist backhanded in a downward arc, sending out a gigantic, wide, sweeping and searing red shock-wave. On hit, Polarus unleashes a powerful, crimson cladded punch, fist encased entirely in red and lava-like Ki that causes a humongous explosion, enveloping the area in a gigantic and brilliantly sun colored blow. (see; Jiren, FighterZ, Blazing Magnetron)
Overheating Magnetron [UA2]: Identical to its predecessor, this version of Polarus' Overheating Magnetrons only difference is the marginal power increase this one has over the last version. Can deal 66%of own PL in damage.
Overheating Magnetron [MA3]: Once again, cosmetically, identical to its preceding move, however, it is thus far the strongest iteration of the technique to date. Can deal 100% of own PL in damage.
Superheated Magnetron [SIG, Force]: The ultimate form of Polarus' Overheating Magnetron, wherein Polarus' entire body is encased in a furiously heated magma red glow as he uses his right hand to backhand his opponent across the chin with ferocious ruthlessness. Ki heated to a point where it scorches every bit of skin it makes contact with as Polarus rears his right hand back, now balled into a fist, using the momentary stagger from the initial backhand to then slam his clenched hand straight into the opponent's face- causing the entire area to be bathed in a bright ruby red glow before exploding immediately afterward from the impact. Causes 133% of PL in damage total.
Superheated Magnetron [SIG, Tier 2 Sheer Force]: Damage output is increased by 33%. Can cause 166% of PL in damage total.
Superheated Magnetron [SIG, Tier 2 No Pain No Gain]: If the user of a SIG with this style is hit by an oncoming attack under 100% of your defensive PL, they may add that PL to their SIG. This only applies to a single oncoming attack and the user cannot heal damage taken alongside this style’s use by any means for the entire thread.
Hellfire Howitzer [A1]: Polarus draws his right hand back to his right side and a red malefic flame like aura engulfs him as he charges a red, mini-sun colored ball of Ki in his right palm. Then, he brings his hand forward and fires the red energy sphere in the form of a long stream of red, lava-like energy at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage. Similar in appearance to Vegeta's Prominence Flash from Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, but with only one hand as opposed to two.
SUPPORT TECHNIQUES:
Afterimage [SU1]: Through a sudden burst of speed you leave behind a static image of yourself to distract your opponent, this technique allows you to completely dodge techniques beneath 100% of your PL. This technique uses 1 KP in KP Battles.
