Tarch PL: 180,000. Suppressed to 5 Yuko has no PL she is a belt After his intense training session with Yuko and Rota, poor Tarch was left without a way to train with his gravity device. While Yuko herself was okay, with few exceptions, her artificial gravity system was completely fried. Unfortunately Dr. Finne had to go on leave for a family emergency. So now a fourteen year old and his psychology student cousin were left on their own. Said grad student had her own work to take care of in her actual field. Luckily, Tarch knew the perfect place to bring his damaged friend.
“T-Tarch? Are you sure this place is re-re-readable?”
The hybrid laughed. While her personality was fine, Yuko’s speech synthesizer was also a little out of whack. That was the least of both of their worries though. Voice boxes were easy to fix for programs like these. It was the gravity device itself that was the hard part.
“Of course! Their boss Mr. Carro literally builds giant robots. Is is their boss that handsome looking robot?” Tarch hadn’t met very many of the members of Crop Corperated. All he knew was that Carro Hofferson and those who worked with him were very good at what they did. Come to think of it, he could only think of two or three members off the top of his head. There was Carro. The president and a grump with a heart of gold. Sulfur, the cool looking alien woman. Something about a van? There was also that nice woman he met back at CURE. What was her name? That was going to drive him crazy. For now he had a job to do.
Tarch made his way up to the front desk at Crop Co Headquarters. “Hello there. I have a broken robot that needs fixing. Is there anyone here that can help me?” The secretary asked him a few questions before tapping a few buttons on her keyboard. Tarch was then assured someone would come to help him, and that he could take a seat on the nearby couch. Hopefully someone would be there soon.

Stupid machines! If there was one thing Penne hated more than losing it was trying to upgrade LOP. This was probably the most infuriating thing she'd tried to do recently, having spent months on it and having only barely upgraded it much at all! While most of the other Flexroids were getting significantly more powerful, LOP was plateauing. So when she heard a voice echoing throughout the building she took this chance to take a break. As she stood from where she was, she wiped her hands clean and tossed the towel to the side. As the voice called out again it sounded... familiar. She knew she'd heard it before, but where? and who? As she pulled out a small device from her pocket she zoomed in on the individual sitting on the couch. "NO WAY!" She cried out as she noticed who it actually was!
Penne made her way very quickly to the front, setting LOP into standby mode as she pocketed the device. She moved quickly to the front where she cried out "HEY YOU! IT'S BEEN AWHILE!" She said happily, jogging over to Tarch "I didn't expect to see you here, how're you doing? Last I saw you... You were kind of having a mental breakdown..." She chuckled a bit "Did you ever find the friend you were looking for?"

Just as Tarch had sat down, a familiar voice called out to him. It was not an overly familiar voice though. Even as its owner drew closer he could not place a name to the face. That was until she reminded him of where they had met. A wide smile spread across his face, quickly replaced with a nervous grin as she reminded him of the terrible circumstances they had met under. Thankfully that was behind him now.
“Hi Ms. Penne! I uh…” Breakdown was right. Finding said friend was also a bit of an odd topic. “Yeah I did find him. He uh… Well we kind of…” How was he supposed to say this? ‘Chromo and I broke West City but I stopped him from wiping it off the map!’ A passing comment would suffice. “We met back up in West City. And then we had a… fight…” If Ms. Penne watched the news she likely knew what he meant. On the bright side, he was here for something much different.
Tarch pulled out his busted gravity device from his bag. “B-but it all worked out! Now I need help with another friend though.” He held the belt out for Ms. Penne to see. “This is Yuko. She’s my gravity trainer.”
“H-Hello! I a-a-am-am Yuko! Starch’s P-personal ARTiCHoke Intelligible train...er. I unfortunately ha-a-ave suffered a severe maLFUnction.”
Despite the serious nature of her condition, Tarch couldn’t help but laugh. “She sounds worse than she is. Her speech thing was fried along with her gravity generator. I figured you guys were good with robots so I brought her here! Think you can help her?”

Penne was hopeful that everything worked out, and thankfully it seemed it had! She did remember a rather large scale fight having broken out within West City several months back, she was worried for the citizens but thankfully the damage didn't cause any major casualties. "Well I'm glad to hear everything worked out!" She said with a smile, turning her attention to the reason why Tarch had come in the first place. Reaching over she took the belt and inspected it closely, tilting her head from left to right as she did so. Hearing the voice assistant chime in was quite amusing, causing her to give a small giggle herself as she looked it over. "Well, I've certainly seen worse."She motioned for Tarch to follow as she headed back towards the workshop "The damage shouldn't be too hard to fix, the voice module has taken some damage though I'm not entirely sure the extent of it with just a cursory glance. The damage to the gravity generator is likely more severe than the voice module though, LOP has had these kind of issues before though that was always due to my own stupidity. It's usually the result of some kind of glitch in the hardware, though if it was because of what I think it is you might need a few replacement parts." As she spoke and led him, she continued inspecting the device over and over. Pulling out a small flash light to get more light to shine down onto the various parts that were damaged. Once they reached the lab she looked up, thankful that LOP was still in the same spot she'd left him in. The large almost 15 foot tall mech idle within the large workshop "Hey LOP, Where's my screwdriver?" She called out, a soft male voice emanating out across the lab "Your Screwdriver was left within my left foot when you were changing the plating this morning." Penne nodded, heading over and quickly locating it before bringing Tarch and the device he'd come here with over to her workbench to begin working on it. "Y'know, I'm really glad that everything worked out. I was really worried about you heading off on your own, I'd of felt terrible of something bad had happened... well, y'know... worse than your friend attacking a city that is. I hadn't had time to read up on everything from the reports, but by now I figured it probably wouldn't matter too much seeing as how it was so long ago and all. West City seems to have recovered from the events so."

Tarch liked getting help from Ms. Penne. Unlike Dr. Bittre she spoke in clear plain english. She actually kind of reminded him of his cousin Rota. Wicked smart but didn’t talk in a way that he couldn’t understand. Not that he was stupid by any means. Just a more simple soul. Even better, she claims to have seen worse before. As the gravity device herself assessed, she was in better condition than she sounded. Tarch followed the two into Ms Penne’s workshop.
Yuko tried to spark up her own take on the matter. “This malFUNCTION was br-r-rought on by a-a-an overheating dr-r-r,” her voice began to fade into an unintelligible crackle. However, a few beeps and boops later she was speaking one more. “We we-re teasing an a-android body for me to help train TARCH.”
Now he wasn’t sure if he should laugh or be worried by the increasingly malfunctioning voice box. Tarch figured it was best not to worry. That’s why they were going to Penne’s workshop anyway right? There he was greeted with a tall mech. The teen was actually a little surprised by LOP. After meeting LEO and TURO, he expected this robot to be either massive or tiny. LOP was a good height, not super big and bulky like LEO, and definitely more imposing than TURO. It was a neat contrast. Of course before he could say anything, Ms. Penne wanted to talk more about West City. This time it was something he could be proud of.
“Yep! With a little help from me and my friend West City is just about good as new.” His chest swelled with pride. The sheer delight of finding all of the dragon balls was still fresh in his mind. He then wandered over to LOP, idly looking the mech over. If left alone to do so, Tarch would tap a finger on the bot, proceeding to look at it from every angle he could. “Woah. This is a really cool robot! Do you ride inside it or does he do his own thing?”

The malfunctioning voice box was uh.... interesting to say the least. She chuckled at it a bit herself, setting the device down on her workbench as she began to take it apart bit by bit to figure out the extent of the damage as Tarch began to wander and inspect LOP. "Well, kinda both really..." She said as he asked about how LOP worked "I can ride in it and pilot it myself, but I can also have it operate independently, though that tends to uh... Be less than optimal." "I take offense to that accusation Ms. Penne, I can operate at peak performance alone." "Yeah perhaps if you think peak performance is 50% combat capability!" She said with a bit of a laugh "That being said, LOP at 50% is still pretty scary. It can catch basically any criminal on its own without any sort of major damage to the city. So far I've not really had it in any serious combat, I leave most of that to Carro and the others since LOP hasn't really evolved like they have in terms of combat."Penne's attention had remained on the device she was given, having almost entirely disassembled it at this point. Scratching her head she frowned slightly "Well, most of the device is uh... in tact? I guess that's one word for it. And by in tact I mean functional, I could just do a basic repair which would let you start using it again if you wanted, or I could just do upgrade to the whole thing." She'd allow Tarch to decide what exactly she did, a few of the major systems had sustained some pretty severe damage, though she could do pretty minimal repairs and make it functional for him though.... there was no promise that it wouldn't break the next time he tried to use it.
