Tenka'ichi. He had never traveled here before, strangely enough. For all his talk of training, one would think that one of the more famous battlegrounds on the planet would be a good place to go and test your mettle. Even now when no official tournaments were running, the grounds were moderately filled with aspiring martial artists of all backgrounds and creed. It was an interesting experience, if nothing else! Now that his Power Level was objectively above abysmal, the time was ripe for his pilgrimage to the legendary site. Hopefully it would be here that he could find a partner to spar or learn with. He may be experienced beyond his years, but there was always room for growth and new potential.
His sharp blue Gi, a homage to the Cat School, was a far cry from the generally hot or dark color spectrum of most. Oranges, reds, and perhaps even blacks. Ryu walked slowly, taking time to admire all that the Budokai Grounds had to offer. Opportunistic vendors had even taken the chance to set up shop, hawking wares at the travelers - ranging from training merchandise to overpriced bottles of water. A while ago such a sight may have just been taken in stride, but the sense of re-kindled normalcy cause a smile to cross Ryu's face. He had dearly missed Earth in his time away, and although his training off-world was only to his benefit, that didn't mean he didn't long for the day when he could once again return home.
Shoulders relaxing by inches, the Human took a deep breath and allowed himself to simply... unwind. His life or prolonged well-being wasn't in constant danger here. Not like the crashing waves and crumbling rocks of the Dragon Temple. Not like that fauna and flora alike that wouldn't hesitate to kill a lesser humanoid in the blink of an eye. Here were simply other warriors - people honing their crafts in a safe environment. Mm. Seeing Nashi again could be a boon - he had gotten far too serious during his time away! At one point he himself had possibly been even more nonchalant or outright random than the Cat Man himself.
