Central City continued to be one of the nicer hubs of Earth, as far as Nashua had seen. She'd heard that, over the summer, some big battle between the Star Goons and some of Earth's defenders had taken place, but the city seemed to have recovered nicely since that time. There were no signs of anything being wrong, as far as Nashua could tell, anyway. And because she rather did not feel like marching around such a relaxed city in her full military outfit - and definitely not just because those clothes were really in need of a wash - she'd gotten together a nice little touristy looking outfit. She was, technically, a tourist. A nice little purple dress with some flowers on it - a good sun hat, too. And a pair of sunglasses, although once she'd put on the sun hat, Nashua had kind of realized the sunglasses were a bit redundant.
Oh, well. The soda she was drinking tasted pretty good. These new heels on her feet were a little painful to talk in, though. Nashua had to let out a snort at the idea that she could take a laser beam meant to destroy an entire planet to the face and just walk it off, but some slightly ill fitting shoes could be giving her this much grief. "Ow..." she had to groan as she stopped at a bench and sat down, popping her left shoe off and lifting the leg over her right one so that she could reach the foot for a proper massage. It was even bruising! What were these shoes made out of, lava? She grit her teeth as she popped the other one off, her tail behind her swishing back and forth in angst as the relief finally started to sweep over her feet.
At least the park was nice. Nashua felt at ease being able to finally put her guard down in a place like this. Nobody would be jumping out of the blue to attack her here of all places, right?

Aurora stared from where she was half hidden from the branches of a tree. There was no way. It couldn't be. Her scouter had picked up the frankly ludicrous power level from miles out whilst she had trained in the mountains, and when a number like that appears on your scouter? You pay attention and you follow. Now, as she had been lead to the North City and infiltrated it (See: Wore clothes she had bought in order to cover her most obvious features), the arcosian was beginning to regret this. The Saiyan tail, so open and obvious to any who looked, didn't provoke as much anger as it once would have in the Arcosian. She prided herself on the fact that she was slowly managing to get over that reactive disgust and rage. No, it wasn't the tail that had her heart beating so loudly that she could hear it, her tail moving with enough force that a light tape snapped off a branch with ease, even when she was doing her best to try and control herself. It wasn't the tail, it was the face. Sure, it was covered by the sun hat and the sunglasses, but that power level, the purple dress, the tail? There was only one person it could feasibly be.
Aurora's body shook and her breath came short as the memories flooded through her mind. It was her. The Saiyan who had- who had taken everything from her. This... this wasn't like with the others. This wasn't Yakone. This wasn't Ash or Okra. This wasn't Kuma, and it wasn't even Kalabas. It was HER. NASHUA. The very thought, the very name was enough to make her body tremble with barely restrained rage. The sorrow, the hatred it was... it was almost too much to handle. The one that had taken her home, caused her family to be killed, had declared herself queen of her people was-was SITTING HERE ON EARTH WITH A MOTHER FUCKING SODA?! A lance of pain shot through Aurora's brain as her rage only continued to build, and before she even knew it the clothes were tearing as she increased in size. Wings burst from her back as crystalline blades appeared over her body. Her tail lengthened, then split into two as a multitude of razor sharp blades burst forward from her body. She dropped from where she had been crouched from the tree as the temperature all around them rapidly began to lower to beyond freezing.
Her foot collided with the grass beneath it and from there ice began to spread. It grew and covered the area of the park, freezing over trees and grass, although purposefully not hurting any of the panicking residents as they fled the park. Around her a swarm of icicles appeared, more than could be counted, all floating within the air and pointed towards the saiyan as Aurora stalked towards where she was. It was- It was hard to breathe, the rage was all consuming as a blizzard began to start up. Reminiscent of the one found upon Mt. Frappe, it swirled and howled and tore at anyone but Aurora and her target, who were left within the centre of it all. From there, the Arcosian would stalk up to the Saiyan and try to pick her up by the dress, before screaming in her face. "GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON NOT TO DO MY FUCKING BEST TO PUT YOU IN THE KAMI DAMNED GROUND!!" She would roar, body visibly shaking as she did so. "YOU DID THIS. YOU KILLED THEM. YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!"
Aurora has temporarily had her story restrictions on her magic removed. Rage is a powerful motivator in DBZ! Aurora has entered her True form, bringing her PL to 360,006 PL! KP:3/3

Now that her feet had gotten a chance to rest, Nashua was actually rather enjoying the weather of Central City. And this dress sure was a lot looser and more breathable than her usual armor was. Not that she was ever all that uncomfortable in her usual outfit, but it could get sweaty sometimes. And it was a little bit difficult to properly relax in, even as comfortable as it was. Not this dress, though. Nashua could absolutely picture herself kicking back and taking a nap right there on the park bench if she got the chance to. And the chilled soda she was drinking from only helped to further shove the nice weather into her face. However, after she'd relaxed into her bench for a few minutes, she noticed a chilly breeze that kept tugging at her shoulders. Well, it was November. It made sense for it to be getting a bit colder - this was probably one of the last nice days most of Earth would have for at least a few months.
Although, what was unusual was the rapidly increasing frost on the ground. Nashua had to bend over and get a good look at the suspiciously growing sleet beneath her feet. Did snow and ice usually pop up across the ground that quickly around here? She had never actually been on Earth during the season where Autumn gave way to Winter, so for all she knew, this was just how it worked. Although, the icicles floating in the sky seemed rather unnatural. "Hmm." Nashua mumbled as she furrowed her eyebrows up at them, although she didn't seem all too concerned as she lifted her soda to take another ship. In fact, a whole blizzard in the middle of the city's central park seemed to have kicked up. "So this is what they mean by when they say flash freeze," Nashua wondered aloud as she looked up at all the snow and ice.
And then, someone trudged up to her and grabbed her by the collar before yanking her up to come face to face with... An Arcosian? The wings were new, but they mostly seemed Arcosian. Were they a hybrid? Nashua seemed surprised at first, although she quietly set the soda down on the bench next to her, and stretched her legs out to get a firm stance on the ground. "Uh, I'm sorry, but I think you have me mistaken for somebody else," she replied to the obviously enraged Arcosian. "You say I 'killed them', but I've never actually killed anyone in my life. Otherwise, I'd be more worried right about now." She gave the Arcosian a chuckle, then gingerly placed her hands on their hand in an attempt to remove their grip from her dress. Nashua may also have been more concerned if her scouter wasn't telling her this Arcosian's power level was only at about 360,000.
"So, um... Sorry for your loss, whoever did get killed. Maybe you can revive them with the Dragon Balls? I think those are active right about now." The Arcosian would probably be strong enough to stave off most of those things' competitors, right? "...Do you want a sip of my soda?"

"Oh, I know who you are, Nashua." Aurora growls, ignoring the Saiyan's efforts to try and ply her hands from her dress even as behind her her wings spread out and the duo began to rise into the air. If they were going to fight, Aurora would not let the Earthlings get hurt, something she knew Nashua had no damn problem with. "And I don't want your FUCKING SODA!" An icicle races from where they had begun to ring the duo impaling the drink and carting it off and out of sight, the blizzard obscuring it from view as it climbed with the pair of them. "Even if it's obviously good enough to forget ruling the people you conquered, the home you TOOK!" It was... it was so hard, not to attack. Aurora knew she couldn't win, not without some sort of miracle. Her logical mind screamed at her to let go. To run away. To think and to plan. Those were her strengths, that was how she fought. What she was doing now was closer to something Safe would do. But no matter how loud that part of her screamed and shouted, it was overwhelmed by the cacophony of roars, screams and crying. Both hers and others, all she had heard during that fateful day.
The small laugh, the chuckle from the bitch in front of her almost brought Aurora to the breaking point. The only thing that held her back was the knowledge that they were still near the city, and she absolutely refused to involve the people there. The innocents who would be affected, how she was affected, even if she doubted it was much of one. She couldn't challenge the Saiyan, but a single blow. A single solid punch. That might be enough for her. "Oh, you've never killed anyone?" Aurora mutters, hate upon her face as she moves the Saiyan to look down at the earthling city. "LOOK AT THAT!" She shouts towards Nashua. "What do you see? An earthling city?" The continued to climb, although Aurora began to angel them, the city shrinking away slowly. "You know what I see? I see Arcose. I see EVERYONE hurt by your battles. People just living their lives, before being torn apart by an earthquake caused from you impacting the ground, a hurricane caused by a single punch, a simple stray ki blast capable of killing an entire damn family in a second as their daughter watches, coated in their blood." Her chest heaved. This was nothing like her conversation with Masque. This didn't help. This didn't make the pain lessen, all it did... all it did was increase the flame. The burning fire within her heart at the very thought of the monster within her grasp.
"Dragon balls can't fix what you and your friends did. Even if I do bring them back, you still killed them, you still took my home." Aurora snarls. Dragon balls, dragon balls, dragon balls! Every damn fucking time! Every loss she mentioned her loss, that was the first they they all jumped to. The Dragon Balls were not the answer, they were not some fix all. Even if she did somehow manage to find them all and fight off those holding them, the fact of the matter would still be that her family had been killed before her eyes. She stares at the eyes of the Saiyan before her, so far above her in terms of power, but much like the time with Masque she felt nothing even approaching fear. Around them the blizzard howled and her ice magic writhed and twisted, reacting to her and only growing stronger the further north they went. The closer to Mt. Frappe, the more she felt it. The connection, feeding into the storm of magic flowing around her that was once just a simple drop.
Aurora wasn't entirely sure how long she could hold it for, and she knew that for as powerful as she was right now? She still had no chance against Nashua. "I can't kill you, and even if I could... I wouldn't. Even someone like you would have people to mourn. I just... I don't... WHY?!" It was the question that had torn through Aurora for a long time, and even here it tore from the Arcosian like a strangled cry as she hangs her head. "You preach peace, I've seen the kami damned messages. But you take our home. Force governance upon us. It doesn't make any SENSE! SO WHY?!"

Seeing as how the Arcosian had her name, Nashua frowned. So, this wasn't a case of mistaken identity? Who had she killed, though? Certainly no Arcosians. Probably a fairly large number of insects, though - but she had to doubt that was what this was about. The only thing that really came to mind was when she had blasted Bosmika's spirit away, at her request - but Bosmika had already been dead, at that point. And Vocado was the one who had actually killed her. It didn't seem like that was what this was about, either, though. Despite the fact that she could have easily gone Super Saiyan and smacked the Arcosian off her, Nashua decided to let this one ride out, so she could see what the lizard was talking about. Even without a transformation, she was incredibly somewhat close to the Arcosian in power level, so she could at least make a solid attempt to defend herself if things went awry.
It became clear as Nashua listened to the Arcosian that what this was all really about was the takeover of Arcose, which Nashua figured she probably should've suspected. Apparently, this one's family had gotten caught up in a stray blast of some kind. Whose blast, Nashua hadn't a clue, but the only attacks Nashua had seen that actually endangered the population of the city beneath them had been Aizu's. But preaching denial wouldn't do any good, here. She had to frown at the Arcosian. "My family was killed too, you know," she started. "When the World Trade Fleet took over our planet. They were enslaved in a work camp, first. There were lots of those before we took Vegeta back. And they were killed by the Arcosian who led that camp, for trying to gather everyone up to rise up against them."
The memory still pained her, despite the fact that she'd been able to bring them back. Nashua looked towards the ground, a solemn look upon her face. "I got to meet the guy who did it, face to face. He... Stood over their graves, and gloated about it. I had the power to kill him right then and there, but... I couldn't do it." She then met the Arcosian's eyes again, her expression now sincere and determined. "I'm sure you're well aware of it by now, but that's kind of been the trend between our two planets for about two thousand years. And for one thing, your planet isn't now littered with work camps, and your people aren't any less free than they were. They're just not being dictated by some bastard who would blow their entire planet up as soon as it was no longer convenient for him to have around."
Nashua took in a deep breath through her nose, then out through her mouth. She wouldn't lie if someone were to ask if she was frustrated - she was frustrated. To work so hard to try and start building up some peace in the galaxy for once, just to have so many people misinterpret it as ambitious conquest... Of course it was frustrating. But she'd have to explain herself one person at a time, she supposed. "I didn't fire the attack that killed your parents - I didn't fire any attacks at all that day. And I know that condolences mean nothing, but you have mine, anyway. If I were a worse Saiyan, I'd have enacted all the cruelties your people did upon us now that I have the opportunity to. But I'm not, and I haven't. And I won't." She then gently placed her hands on the Arcosian's, and added, "So, why don't you let go of me and unsummon the blizzard. so we can actually talk things out?"

Aurora snarled as Nashua began to speak, feeling the rage continue to build as every word out of her mouth simply spurred her onward. Her fists balled up from where they were hefting the Saiyan by the dress, her teeth grit together and her face twitched as she struggled to control her barely restrained anger and sorrow. It was painful, but she ripped her hands from the dress, dropping the Saiyan and knowing that she would catch herself. The Saiyan's words... they reached a small part of Aurora, and that only served to infuriate her more. "I don't know how many times I need to tell people this. First Masque, now you." She mutters, eyes unblinking as she glowers towards the one responsible for everything. Even now her body and mind screamed at her to attack, barely held back by the logic that she allowed to rule at all times. "The fleet and Arcose were not the same thing. They had long since stopped representing the same values, and only the worst parts remained by the time they attacked your people. Most of the people on the planet you took over? They'd never even set foot on the fleet." The blizzard continued to howl around them, only intensifying as Aurora forced her body to still and her words to come out. She wanted, needed the one behind it all to understand what she had done. The Arcosian wasn't even sure why, but she HAD to know.
"Look. I'm-" The word was hard to choke out, but she forced herself. "Sorry about what happened your family. They didn't deserve it. None of those killed did. But what you've done? It only makes things WORSE!" She was shouting by now, her heart tugging and leaping throughout the entirety of her body. She wanted, so so badly, to beat her face into the ground. To wipe that pleading look off of her face, that sincere and open expression that only served to make her angrier. It wasn't fair. She didn't GET to look at her like that. SHE WAS THE REASON WHY THEY WERE DEAD! "All you- All you've fucking DONE is prolong it. You've made it worse. You expect me to thank you for not enslaving my people?! YOU TOOK OUR FUCKING HOME! I don't... How could you think that was the right solution?! You'd think that someone that had experienced something like that would know enough to NOT DO IT AGAIN!" She was alternating between yelling at the top of her lungs and fighting back the small sobs that were now threatening to work their way through her, her body shaking in the magical cold as the icicles around them all melted away into nothing at all.
"The solution to hatred and violence is not more of it!" Slowly the blizzard began to lessen as well, although it was still there as her self control fought with her emotions. She couldn't just.. she needed to... "It doesn't even make any sense. We out live you by a lot, and taking control the way you have? All it's going to do is make everything so much worse when you die." It just... it didn't... WHY was she talking to her like this? This was Nashua. The rage, which had previously ebbed away a little now returned and battered at her mind as she registered the last few things the Saiyan said. "You don't understand." She mutters as the blizzard disappears and Aurora's form begins to shrink. Crystals warped and retreated to within her body as her bio armour was seemingly sucked back into her body. Soon enough, all that was left was the semi-limp body of Aurora's suppressed form as it floated there, looking at the being that may as well have been a god to her with a sense of hopelessness.
"And from what I've seen, you may never understand." She mutters, eyes downcast as she looks towards the mountainous ground far below them. "You may not have fired any attacks but... but it was you who killed them." Her voice was quiet, almost inaudible over the sound of the howling wind as that rage that had swept through her like a wave also receded like one. It left nothing but an empty feeling within the Arcosian as she realised that despite being able to see the one behind it all, face to face... she couldn't do anything. She wasn't strong enough to threaten her. She wasn't good enough with words to convince her. Hell... she couldn't even cry at the time, no matter how much she felt like it. All she felt was emptiness, and that was reflected outwards with the slowly draining passion from her voice as she continued to talk. To try, at least. "I'm not going to thank you, for taking over my home and not filling it full of the atrocities the fleet did to you. For... what? Acknowledging that you're a dictator?" A Small snarl threatens to appear on her face, but even that was killed by the suddenly overwhelming feeling of... hopelessness. There wasn't much of a point to her words, Aurora realised. She would never be able to convince Nashua otherwise.
"You are aware of the cycle. The hate between our species. But despite that, despite obviously being able to recognise and see it, all you do is make it go around once more. The fleet attacks your world, so you take Arcose. Give it a few years, and it'll just happen all over again. As it has for millennia." She hovers there, unmoving and body close to slack, as if all the energy that had been in her before had now just left her. "You claim that you're better than some other Saiyans, but... to me there's really no difference between you, them, the fleet, my own monstrous people, or any of it really. All you've done is kill those people in the future, rather than right now. You prolong the cycle, thinking that you're above it, that you're helping." Aurora's eyes harden as she looks towards Nashua. "Just like those who attacked your home. The only real difference? Is who's turn it is." Staring towards Nashua, Aurora found a single thought floating to the forefront of her mind.
What was the Arcosian even doing here?
Sad Lizard has entered her suppressed form, reducing her PL to 80,000.
