Chime's PL: 112,000
One moment Chime was watching Nashi race down Snake Way, the next he was flat on his back in the Senbyo tower, staring up at the ceiling. It took him a few moments to get his bearings again. Having your mind wrenched from one plane of existence to another was disorienting, even if he'd done it before. After a minute or two Chime stood up again. Everything looked the same. The scorch marks were still on the floor, the upstairs was probably still a horrific mess, and the light outside was the same (which was a relief, he'd half expected there to be some strange time dilation between the worlds.)
He went over to the railing, leaned against it, and looked out over Fukurou Forest far below. So. Nashi was dead. It was a strange thought, seeing as he was cheerily talking to him just moments ago, but the Senbyo had a way of meeting every obstacle with joy and irreverence. It would be irritating, if Chime didn't like him so much. The Dragon Ball he'd been guarding seemed to be gone, as well. Chime turned the place over twice to be sure, but unless Nashi had a really thorough hiding spot, the ball was gone. The thought sent a pang of guilt through him. His friend was dead, seemingly to protect the very artifact Chime himself had made. But by who? And what did they want?
Musing on it alone would get him nowhere. Chime lowered his head and his antennae twitched as he sent out a telepathic message to Daruma and Tysco. His mental voice was tense and no-nonsense: "Come to Nashi's tower. Something's gone wrong." He paused, then added, "There's no immediate danger, but...just come down here. Please."
Sighing, he looked back out to the horizon and waited. The flash of light that had drawn him to the tower initially had probably been seen by others, as well. He wouldn't be surprised if someone else came to crash their impromptu meeting.

Yanwang was back from his trip on Arosce. He had done a lot like fighting that Nashua lady. He was really proud of himself but Arosce proved to overall not be that fun. Now he was back on Earth and ready. He had trained for a long time but had not even though to fight Nashi! Nashi and he used to be rivals and were now really good friends. So, of course, he needed to test his power agiasnt the power that Nashi could muster. Only one problem he had been done below the lookout for three hours. He didn't want to climb up as usual, he bet his friend would just sense power and come down. Plus knowing it was Yanwang of course he'd come and say hello. Maybe he was taking a nap? Yanwang starched his head. "Huh, that is a bit odd." Yanwang grabbed the tower and began to climb up the tower towards where Nashi was supposed to be. Guess he could climb up and check on him. Maybe he was just out of the lookout or something. Only one way to find out. He had to climb up and find out what had happened to Nashi! "Nashi I am coming!" Yanwang roared as he climbed as fast as he could. He was gonna be so happy when he saw Nashi.

It had not been longer than half an hour after Tysco’s last disastrous encounter with Sensoa. Try as the young man might, his own raw strength— while fearsome— was not enough to ultimately do much against the other Demon. T’was primarily his cunning that managed to help him remain amongst the living. Or perhaps it by some sick twisted mentality that Sensoa let Tysco live— Either one day to ‘have a real challenge’ or ‘gain a worthy ally’, not that Tysco cared for the depraved madness of traitorous scum.
In the end, Tysco lay unconscious, beaten and broken at the bottom of the Great Fissure, undisturbed by its corruption and influence. He was there for a long while until the most basic forms of awareness returned to him. He struggled to physically wrench himself off of the ground, haphazardly floating upwards and out of the disgusting gash in the land, only to collapse a few meters away from the edge. It was still light out, the faintest hint of a magical ritual’s performance still remained... Tysco let out a guttural growl too fierce for his injured body to manage and he retched moments after, almost barfing.
Moments later, his mind received a message, Chime had called upon him, but he could barely make out the words— but he understood the feeling. What Chime would be given in response however, could barely be construed as words or even much in the way of clear thought— it was almost a telepathic white noise with an underlying tone of immense distress and pain. He didn’t get to think much further on it, as the connection sputtered quite a bit on his end.
Sabriia would also make her return to find Tysco— sure she was thankful that he was alive, but that didn’t stop her from having a freak out at the state of her friend. “Oh no, no no, we are getting you out of here..!” Lifting Tysco up and supporting him with an arm over her shoulder, she was about to take off into the air, only to be stopped short by him. “Cia.. Get.. Cia.. Go.. Korin Tower.. Meet there.. Important.. Please..” Sabriia was understandably stunned that Tysco would think anything was more important than him getting help, but all it took after a single gasp of protest to get the point across was a hard stony glare. “Chime can.. Help.. Don’t worry, about me.. Get Cia there..”
Of all the boneheaded points Tysco could have made, it had to be one that made some form of sense. Regrettably, Sabriia relented. “You are lucky that I can trust you to get there by yourself. Tysco, you owe me big-time for this..” Luckily, Sabriia had been tasked with picking up Morticia, and she knew a thing or two about the both of them, namely their feelings for each other... Indeed, Sabriia’s revenge would be sweet. Sickeningly so, but today was not the day for that. Once she was sure Tysco could mobilize on his own, she sped off to retrieve Morticia and bring her to the Korin’s Tower ASAP. Though she was lost as to why exactly they were to go there, she placed great trust in Tysco.
Speaking of, Tysco sluggishly made his way as covertly as he could, like always, up until he absentmindedly bonked gently into the side of Korin’s tower. It was as good a signal as any to just float straight up. Once he reached the tower proper, he dropped straight onto the floor. “Ayy.. Am here..” Soon after, Sabriia would arrive, hopefully with Morticia in tow.

Morticia's PL: 60,500 | Casual form in effect
Morticia had only just arrived back home when a knock on her front door would sound out, she fluttered down and through the window of her upstairs bedroom before setting everything she'd collected from her day out onto her bed. She had planned to do some more drawing followed by some study and then sleep but it could wait for now. Reaching the door she'd carefully pull it open to see Sabriia which would of course bring a smile to her face! The smile was short lived though as the arcosian was in quite the rush to bring the doragon somewhere, why? She didn't quite understand why but she could tell to her friend it was something important... Dropping everything she had in her hands at the time and closing her front door behind her she was quick to head off with Sabriia to- Well she didn't really know where but her friend seemed to know the way? Speaking of getting there, the arcosian also insisted she carry the doragon to where they needed to be, usually Cia would protest this since she knew her friend could be rather motherly towards the group and probably was saying this to make it easier on Morticia herself, but something about the urgency and rush that surrounded her made the doragon ultimately push any protests aside and agree, allowing herself to be picked up and rushed off. She would become increasingly grateful for this pickup as it was made clear that it involved a lot of flying, which would've been incredibly straining on her little wings! " Thank you Sabriia!" She'd wiggle her legs a little bit as they arrived to reach out for the ground below, still confused as to where they even were " What's going-" She cut herself off when she noticed Tysco simply slumped on the floor close by, Daruma already here and checking on the demon as well. With not even a second's worth of hesitation she rushed over to the two and knelt down to see them better since Tysco was on the floor. Morticia would brush back some of his white hair with a gentle hand, looking close to tears but was doing her best to hold them back, they'd been told to come here for a reason and she hadn't found out what that reason was yet. Glancing back to Sabriia for a moment she finally then gave a bit more of a look around the room, not only was Daruma here but Chime too! She was certain it was Tysco who had wanted her to come here too since Sabriia had come and gotten her but what were they all here for? The doragon would continue to just try to gently soothe her demon friend, as much as she wanted to ask him what happened and if he was alright among many other things she instead wanted to give him time to be able to sit up and explain all that for himself when he felt able to. Something deep down in her gut however also made her feel that they were all here for a much different reason, if the mood of the room and the people in it were anything to go by then she imagined her gut was right...

It didn't take long for his friends to start filing in, but they didn't arrive in the way he expected. Tysco appeared first, and dropped into the tower to land in a wounded heap on the floor. Chime's heart immediately sunk like a rock into his stomach. First Nashi, now Tysco too? What was going on here? Was someone going around hurting his friends? At least Tysco had survived his ordeal, whatever it was. Chime rushed over and fell to his knees beside his demonic friend. "Tysco!" He cried as he looked him over, trying to asses his injuries, "What happened to you?" He didn't ask if Tysco was alright, because the answer was an obvious 'no.'
Soon, they were joined by another duo: Sabriia and Morticia. Chime was admittedly not as close to them as some of the others in their little squad, but they were friends of Tysco, and he knew them enough to trust them. Right now, that was good enough. He looked up and turned his questions on them instead, "You two!" He barked, too stressed to be polite, "Do you know what happened to him?"
Daruma came skidding inside a few moments later, and to him Chime said nothing. They simply exchanged a knowing look, and Chime gave him a grim nod. They had been through this before. Not this scenario specifically, of course, but close enough to it. Chime would explain the specifics in a minute, but for now his focus was on Tysco. Nashi might be beyond the Kami's reach, but the journal keeper could still be helped. Chime held his hands over the worst of Tysco's wounds as he listened to whatever story the others would tell him on how he got this way.
The healing took some concentration, so he was startled to feel yet another energy signature approaching them, a significantly powerful one. He might've noticed it sooner, if he hadn't been both very focused and distressed. As it was, the sudden presence startled him, and as it approached the top edge Chime leaned over the still-fallen Tysco protectively, "Someone's coming." He told everyone, quietly.
Towards the mysterious intruder, he shouted, "Who are you? Show yourself!"

Yanwang keeps climbing up the tower but when he arrived at the first stop, Nashi house he didn't see him. "Huh, that is odd." Yanwang looked up towards the top of the tower. Maybe he was at the top of the tower resting or talking with Kami guy. Nashi was a hero afterall, maybe he was going to go on a secret hero mission. Yanwang would keep climbing up the tower eventually reaching the top. Maybe he had speed up a bit as panic filled his heart. He didn't know why but he was starting to think something bad was going on. Then he heard the yell of Chime, he had not met him much before just one time in some house away from the lookout but he seemed panicked. Was the lookout under attack? Yanwang frowned a bit but hope flared. Maybe they needed help, Yanwang was really strong him and Nashi should be able to take down any threat to those on the lookout without much problem. Unless the lookout was being attacked by an army of super saiyans they had nothing to fear.
Yanwang flipped onto the lookout looking over at Chime and the others who were on the lookout. He didn't know most of the people but one of them was an ogre. He titled his head. "Hmm, I feel like we meet somewhere before Mr.Ogre." He could not put his finger on it. The other three people though he had no idea. One of them seemed to be a bit hurt though. Chime seemed to be taking care of them. Man, there must have been a really big fight here. Yanwang looked around just in case there was any trouble in the area. He didn't see any so guess they were ok. Though he was tempted to transform just in case, he didn't want to get sneak attacked. "Sorry I spooked you. It seems your all panicked. I was just looking for Nashi I wanted to say since I have not seen him in a while. He is my good friend afterall." Yanwang grinned and nodded to Chime.

Tysco tried to center himself and pull himself together. He was going to be doing much better here on the tower of course as opposed to being stuck in the sand in some desert beaten to a pulp. He could hear and process everything that went around him but his body could barely keep up. Tysco grumbled and did his best to reach up and touch Morticia’s nose. “Hey...”
He also gave Daruma a wave. “Been better..” When people started raising their voices a smidge too much, Tysco hissed groggily, and squinted in Chime’s general direction. “Urghh, no yelling... Not their fault.” Tysco took a few breaths to get focused once more. “Sensoa... He’s gone mad.. Soul gone.. He got rid of his.. Soul.. He.. He killed Hyuki.. Cold blood.. Almost got Barban... I stopped him..” Then, evidently, for whatever reason he let Tysco live as well. Tysco coughed and groaned again. “Should have done.. Better.. Stronger. Could have.. Saved them.” Eventually Tysco stopped making much in the way of sense and he closed his eyes tightly as his face contorted in pain.
Sabriia nudged Morticia to get her attention. “Take his hand, he still is not quite all there. Be his anchor, please.” Normally quite firm and no-nonsense in the way she spoke, this time Sabriia was lacking that composure and obvious nervousness was set in her tone. She looked to Chime and Daruma, utterly lost. Sabriia had no idea what to even ask, but she knew that something else was wrong here today and the look on her face showed an exponentially increasing level of concern. Chime’s warning put Sabriia on alert as she too backed up, taking a defensive stance. Indirectly, she knew about the newcomer— not as herself, but as Voltex; her superhero alter ego by word from Tysco’s alter ego Makaimorph. Even though she could lower her guard as she did not see Yanwang as a threat, she had to keep up appearances.
Tysco murmured, his head tilted in the general direction of the younger Ogre that had just now arrived. Though he could not articulate as he normally would, Tysco tried his best to let the others know this was not an enemy. “Its okay.. Not enemy..” The Demon had met Yanwang a few times before both as a civilian and while on duty, he had the sense that Yanwang was a good kid as a result. That said, the Ogre did raise a good point... Where was Nashi at?
