EMERGENCY ROOMCARRO's PL: 100 | LEO's PL: 100 (x16P - SUPPRESSED // 180k BASE)
"Come on, just..." Carro muttered to himself, fumbling with the oversized claws plastered onto his armor. He'd agreed to meet with Chime to discuss emergency matters in the evening. Since they scheduled it, Carro had found an emergency matter of his own. He shuddered again at the image of a child's dead body, cleaved by that demon's hate. Still, he shook his head and tried to force himself to the current task at hand- trying to button up his vest.
Being stuck with LEO's Lifeblood state was a double-edged sword. On one hand they'd managed to stabilize it and he hadn't fallen into another coma yet, but on the other they still had to figure out how to turn it off. In the meantime, the five-foot armor made most of his clothes tight fits. His dress clothes were itchy, and his tie felt too tight... Such sacrifices had to be made to look professional during matters like these, though. Carro gave up on trying to button his vest, instead adjusting his bow tie one last time before heading downstairs. Chime had to be arriving any minute now. He'd cleared the situation with the guards- the doors were wide-open for the Kami's arrival.
...How was he even supposed to address his side of things? 'Oh yeah, remember that demon I spared and tried to help? Yeah, well he just killed an actual child and is hunting the Dragon Balls, and I have one of them.' Carro worded it bluntly in his thoughts. LEO's presence was quiet. Their minds were much more attuned to each other than before. Sometimes it was hard to distinguish one of her angry thoughts from his own. The form itself would take some hefty explaining as well. Why did meetings always have to be like this?
Carro sighed again, ignoring the mechanical echo in his voice. The five-foot, armored President twiddled his thumbs as he remained sat on the entry hall's couch, silently trying to work out how he wanted to word things...
Today had been... a day, that much was certain.
LEO's [UT1] LIFE LINK is active, along with her LIFEBLOOD (x16P) form! Her ki feels nearly identical to Carro's. [UT1] Ki Suppression lowers her sensible strength to 100 PL.

Chime's PL: 100 (Set from 112,000)
The past couple of days had been strangely hellish and quiet at once. One of Chime's best friends was dead, and someone was out killing people for dragon balls. He had no idea who held the other six, if anyone even did, or if they were still out in the wilderness somewhere, undiscovered. His only guess so far was Dosu, who Chime knew to be hunting after a wish from the Eternal Dragon. He'd be very surprised if it was the Heran, though, for the simple fact that he didn't believe he could defeat Nashi. That left the possibilities wide open, and the best way Chime could think of to find the culprit was to track the dragon balls himself. His old radar had vanished along with Nashi, and the creator of the radar, Polbo, was proving equally difficult to find. He didn't have time to waste trying to track her down, so he went to his other favorite mechanic and partner in defending the Earth: Carro. The President should know there's a murderous dragon ball hunter on the loose, anyway.
Arriving at Crop Co. Chime was, for once, not stopped at the door, and instead ushered inside as a guest. That was a change he could get used to. It only took moments to spot Carro, sat on a couch not too far from the door, and the sight of him made Chime jolt in surprise. It was definitely Carro, but something was obviously wrong. Besides the obvious physical changes, even his energy felt different. When Carro wore LEO as a suit, their ki was still distinct from one another, like two people standing next to each other. Now, it felt muddled, like he couldn't tell where Carro ended and LEO began. Thoughts of death and dragon balls were temporarily pushed from his mind as he rushed over to his friend.
"Carro!" Chime shouted, obviously worried, "What happened to you? Are you alright?!"

CARRO's PL: 100 | LEO's PL: 100 (x16P - SUPPRESSED // 180k BASE)
Carro flinched at the sudden shout, snapped out of his thoughts. "O-oh, hey!" He turned to Chime,a mechanical undertone echoing in his voice. The Kami seemed concerned about the saiyan. He glanced down to his armored plam again, still at a loss for what was the right way to word everything. "Don't worry, w-we're fine! Right, LEO?" A thoughtful hum echoed from the speakers on his helmet. "Are we talking physically fine or emotionally fine?" LEO's voice snarkily quipped. "Ugh, you know what I mean." Carro frowned and folded his arms while LEO held back an amused laugh.
".....I don't think we ever went over the whole linking thing, actually. You know how LEO got a lot more talkative and less robotic-sounding one day?" Carro began to explain. After settling his friend's concerns, they could move onto talking about the wellbeing of their home. "Without getting into the complicated specifics, well, more or less she's connected her Ki to mine, in a way. Hence why she can be sensed and doesn't need programming and all that. Organic soul, robotic body. This, though..." Carro clicked his tongue and gestured to the new armored state LEO had taken. "It's like, turned up to an eleven? It's hard to describe... But right now we're just... uh..." Carro clicked his tongue. "...Stress testing it for a bit." They totally weren't stuck. They knew perfectly well how to turn off the form. There was nothing to be worried about.
"...And of course, this form peaks my power output," For a moment, LEO let her suppression fade and reared her full force. The orange glow from the armor intensified for a moment as their strength peaked, but all the while Carro was casually sprawled against the couch in spite of the immense power. "Power we're going to need soon enough, if our hunch about the news you wanted to share is what we suspect. There are more important things for us to worry about" Carro grimaced. Catch-up time was over- now they had to get to business.
The President took a slow inhale, glancing away for a moment. "So." He clicked his tongue, reaching a hand into one of his armored compartments. "...Would your concerns have anything to do with events pertaining to these?" Clutched in his claws was a shimmer of orange. A Dragon Ball, dotted with seven stars glimmered in his palm.
LEO briefly activates MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE (+x4T) and drops Ki Suppression to reveal her full power of 3,600,000 PL! Ki Suppression lowers it back to 100 after, though.

Chime fretted over Carro (and by extension, LEO) as they tried to explain the situation. He hopped from side to side with his hands outstretched, though he didn't actually reach out enough to touch. LEO was still there, and seemingly herself, despite the usual catlike face of her helmet being gone, so that was a relief. After a moment or two he stopped panicking quite so much and actually listened to what Carro was telling him. He and LEO were connected on a deep level, through their ki, which actually answered a long-standing question that Chime had never asked: why could he sense LEO and not any other robot? Because of Carro, apparently. Now that connection was even stronger, more literal, and the two seemed to be...merged. That was the only way Chime could describe what he was looking at. Carro claimed it was a stress test, and Chime met that claim with a flat look. He clearly wasn't buying it.
The look was wiped off his face as the full force of LEO's new power hit him. Carro sat there, completely unbothered, but Chime actually staggered a step back. It was three times what Chime himself could manage, if he had to estimate. The power surge abated after a second, and Chime recomposed himself, only to be met with a Dragon Ball being held in his face. He blinked a couple of times. Ah. Seemed the President was one step ahead of him.
"...That's exactly it, actually." He nodded. Carro and LEO's predicament was concerning, but neither seemed to be in distress, so he'd file that worry away for later, "I didn't know you were hunting them, too. I wanted to ask you for a radar since I've, er. Lost mine. But I guess you're using yours. You don't happen to have a spare, do you?" Chime paused and rubbed the back of his neck, "Uh, sorry. Getting ahead of myself. It's...I'm..."
He took a deep breath to steel himself before his next words, "Nashi's dead. ...Again. Someone killed him and took his Dragon Ball, the four-star. I don't know who, or where they went, or what they want to wish for, but..." He bit his bottom lip and tried to keep the emotion out of his voice, "There wasn't even a body, Carro. He's just...gone." Another pause, another deep breath, "He definitely is dead though, not kidnapped or anything, I checked. Magical Kami stuff, I can talk to dead people." Chime waved a hand dismissively, "The point is, someone is out there hunting Dragon Balls, and they're willing to murder to get what they want. I'm aiming to find them."

CARRO's PL: 100 | LEO's PL: 100 (x16P - SUPPRESSED // 180k BASE)
Carro looked away, ignoring a few nervous beads of sweat on his face as Chime clearly didn't take his excuse for being in LEO's new form. Still, he managed to change topics quick enough with the reveal of the seven-starred sphere. Part of him hoped the Dragon Balls weren't related to this mysterious issue and Chime would call him crazy, but the cursed orbs were the culprit yet again. The Namekian asked for a radar, causing the President to furrow his brow in thought. "I have a spare. One moment..." The air rippled beside Carro. Reaching his hand into a small portal and fishing around for a moment, he'd soon retract his palm to reveal a shiny new Dragon Radar for the Kami. "You'll need to get your own batteries for it, but it'll do the job."
Then came the inevitable bombshell. They had to be thinking of the same tragedy- what else could rattle Chime? Carro grimaced, preparing for the inevitable reminder as Chime began to speak. But not a moment passed before the President's eyes grew wide with shock. Nashi was dead?! His expression remained frozen as Chime finished sharing the news, a few flickers of static flashing in the armor's lights.
"I... see." Carro put a hand to his head- it felt like he was getting a migraine as another faint splash of static faded. "There's... no way to put this lightly." He painstakingly inhaled, preparing himself for his own bombshell about to be dropped on the Kami. "Chime. Nashi's not the only one to have died trying to protect these." He slowly uttered. Each word was harder to say then the last. Carro paused again. He couldn't meet the Guardian's gaze as he spoke once more. "...Tarch is dead. Slaughtered like an animal. And the Dragon Ball I suspect he was holding is nowhere to be seen." Carro grit his teeth and lowered his head. "Gods, he was just a kid..."
"I know Tarch's killer. You do too." He managed to force himself to look at Chime, his tone turning stern. "It was Sensoa." Carro closed his eyes and scowled again. "...Kais above, I should have killed that monster when I had a chance." Who cared if his friends would have died to take the demon with them? If he'd just manned up and stuck a stake through his dead heart, maybe this all wouldn't be happening. Carro felt sick.
"I'd be willing to bet he had some part in Nashi's death, or did the deed himself." Two brutal murders in such a short time against Earth's defenders, both for the same barbaric purpose... It couldn't be a coincidence. "Regardless, it's settled that we need to take those Dragon Balls back, lest he get whatever malefic wish he has in mind. Let me make something VERY clear, though, if you intend to hunt as well..." The slaughter only made Carro more determined to take the Dragon Balls to revive those that they'd killed in the first place, but he could not risk to lose even more then they already had.
"If you see Sensoa, drop everything and RUN. His power's likely still enough to give LEO and I a challenge. We CANNOT risk your death... However, if we manage to corner him together, it could be enough..." Even his new power might not be enough. But if he'd be able to whittle the demon down while Chime played support, perhaps they'd be able to do what Carro should have a long time ago.
OOC NOTE: Chime already acquired his own Radar OOC! This is just an IC explanation for it, I haven't traded one to Chime myself OOC.

Chime watched in awe as Carro reached into some...portal? Pocket dimension? He wasn't sure what it was, but Carro pulled out a brand new Dragon Radar out from within. The abilities of technology continued to baffle and amaze him. Chime took the radar with a grateful nod, "Thanks. Batteries I can manage myself, but...the radar is a bit much." Maybe someday he could have Carro take one apart and let him figure out how to materialize each piece, or maybe he could invent his own, magical means of tracking the Dragon Balls, but there was no time for any of that now.
The situation was even more dire than Chime had first thought. Apparently Tarch was dead, too, and at Sensoa's hand. The information hit him like a truck, or maybe a knife to the gut, but Chime's only outward reaction was to stare at Carro blankly and blink. Oh. This felt...he wasn't sure how this felt. Both terrible and detached all at once. He looked down at his reflection in the green screen of the Dragon Radar and thought of Tarch. A bright-eyed young boy, wondering if Kami could hear everyone's prayers, wanting to save his dead mother...Chime wondered if he'd ever succeeded, or if he'd died before he could. As for Sensoa...Chime still didn't understand where he'd gone wrong with his once-friend, what had happened to make him change like this, but the persistent thought that always returned was You should have tried harder. After a few moments, he was drawn from his thoughts as he noticed his reflection in the radar was shaking. The hand holding the radar was trembling, along with the rest of him, he realized dully.
The tense, overlong silence was broken by Chime laughing, sharp and bitter and nothing like his usual self. He tipped his head back to look up at the ceiling, and his voice had that same bitter tone when he spoke, "This is all my fault, you know. If I had never made these damned things--" A flare of anger and he moved his arm as if to hurl the radar across the room, but stopped himself at the last second. Carro had just given it to him, after all, he shouldn't go breaking it. So he roughly shoved the device into his belt sash instead. "Whatever possessed me to think this was a good idea..." He muttered and shook his head.
Finally, Chime turned to meet Carro's eyes again, "...I'm sorry for all of this. I'm not sure if I was arrogant or naive, to think I could just set the potential for a miracle out in the world and expect it not to be abused. Some Guardian I turned out to be." He let out a sigh, "I know I can't defeat Sensoa in a head-on fight. I wouldn't even stand a chance against you. But...I can't run from him. If I find him, I might be able to trick him, at least temporarily, and twist the odds to our favor. He's...not the smartest guy I've ever met." The gears in Chime's head were obviously turning, trying to think of what angle he could use. They couldn't beat their opponent in raw power, that was for sure, so they needed something else.
