Wait your not Nashua (Kuma)

    Another day, another aimless wander, but at least now she had an overall purpose she was looking towards that wasn't being a massive failure at tracking someone. She still hadn't managed to meet with this Queen Kayen, but she had found Nashua and that was a major weight lifted of her mind and more importantly her emotional state. Now it was simply a matter of finding someone tech savvy enough to fix her ship, get her a scouter, and potentially getting the hell off this floating dirt rock called Earth. Things were quickly becoming hectic and the longer she was around the more she was finding herself entrenched in it all, and given the deaths that were following she didn't want to count herself as one of them.

    She found herself in a smaller southern town she hadn't meandered into as of yet, almost sulking as she was trying to find literally anything to do to sate the boredom. "There has to be something going on around here. This place sucks though.", muttering to herself as she walked down the street. "It ain't like someone is just gonna show up with a megaphone yelling at me.", shaking her head as she walked past someone without even giving them more than a slight glance, before they seemed to try to deafen her with a yell into a megaphone asking about, surprisingly, Nashua. Everyone else seemed to scatter, but Kuma stayed standing far closer than she cared to when the megaphone had been used, and turned slowly towards the source. "Uh, one, can you not?", putting a finger in her ear and moving it a bit as she made a face. "Two, why are you yelling about Nashua?", making faces as if she was trying to get her ear to pop to stop the ringing.

    Had this been a few weeks ago, this whole situations might have been more of an interesting one for Kuma. Scouring the Earth after scouring most of the quadrant for her cousin, but she had found her by what seemed like an accident, so it was less of a coincidence and more just a small person screaming at a crowd of people. "I could tell. You literally just screamed into that megaphone you were lookin' for someone named Nashua.", leaning back on her foot and putting her hands on her hips. "Yeah, she's probably the strongest Saiyan there is.", whispering under her breath after her response, "-for now", shifting her weight to her other leg. "You ain't tryin'a kill her are ya? Cause I ain't a fan'a people try'na kill my cousin." Her thick accent was coming out far more than she had intended, but she wasn't making any attempts to hide it, which made her seem even less like her cousin even if unintentionally. They did bare a passing resemblance as far as facial features, but that was as close as it went. "Well she is on Earth somewhere, but I ain't exactly keepin' tabs on her. I could probably get'a hold of her eventually, but it would take a while I would imagine." Her arms slowly crossed as whatever this thing was jumped down and claimed Nashua had ran from her essentially, giving a bit of a chuckling snort through her nose.

    "Apparently.", shrugging at his response. She didn't really know what to make of whatever this was, but if she had to guess from her time spent dead, this was an ogre of some description. It wasn't as if she hadn't met one as loud, but they all looked different, so for all she knew he could have been some type of demon or goat man given the strange species she had run into lately. "Yeah, Cousin." She didn't actually know if Nashua was the strongest Saiyan, even if she was, but nothing wrong with a bit of embellishment. "Me a Super Saiyan?", Kuma blinked for a bit, ready to wave her hands, but stopped as they were in front of her, grinning and pointing her thumbs towards herself. "Well of course I am. I just like to keep it a secret. No reason showin' off to everyone." Now it was just a matter of hoping she was called on it, because lying wasn't one of her strong points.

    "Oh good.", ready to cross her arms and look pleased with his answer before he went on to call her bad, which was one step away from claiming she was evil out right. "Well, the Arcosians did it first to Vegeta. Twice even. They kinda deserved it for being dumb. I mean, not like she killed a buncha people though. Or blew up the planet.", heavily shrugging. "She ain't evil though. She is nice, and almost as cute as me." There was a part of her that wasn't sure how serious this guy was, but he was someone to keep an eye on either way. He claimed he was strong enough to have made Nashua run away, which she didn't really believe, but perhaps he was strong enough to stand up to her in a fight. Then again she had met a lot of people over the years that claimed they were the strongest on a planet, or the strongest of their species and so on, and rarely were they strong enough to do anything but talk. "Hero huh?", putting her hands back on her hips. "Well hero, guess it couldn't hurt to hang out. I mean, I ain't got nothin' else goin' on. I'm Kuma.", she didn't extend her hand or ask for his name, just gave a blunt introduction and looked at him as if waiting for the same.
    

    It took all of a second for her to be called out on her lie, and she stood there not sure how to respond, with her smile looking more awkward the longer she tried to think of a response. "Well I didn't say it was a good secret.", was the only response she could think to give. It was however a pretty amazing secret, because if she was a Super Saiyan, even she didn't know it. "She did take the planet over, you are right. I dunno why though, so I'm just makin' guesses. I wasn't around when she did it, and one of them fleet attacks on Vegeta killed me, so maaaaaybe I'm biased.", shrugging heavily. "I got no opinion aside from what I said, so dunno. I know it happened, I don't know how or what, and only sort of know who. Some guy named Vocado told me about it and not in very good detail. You probably know more than I do from the sounds of it." She realized only after she said that comment out loud that he did in fact seem to know more about it than she did, and from what he had said was even on Arcose, so maybe he was there in person.

    From the way he responded she assumed he was a young whatever he was given he refered to her as an adult, which would at least explain his size, but she figured it was time for the blunt approach. "Are you an ogre? I seen a lot of ogres but you look different. Maybe it's your size. Maybe it's cause you aren't really ugly.", looking him over and determining he was in fact far from some of the more ugly ogres she had interacted with while in hell. "Oh, and can you tell me about Arcose? You were there you said. I wasn't of course, so maybe tell me what happened? What's done is done, but details would be nice. Plus I'm nosey."

    "Big secret sure. Not a good one, though. There are a ton of Super Saiyans runnin' around from what I hear. It's no fun if I just go around showing it off." Brilliant! If she didn't show off her Super Saiyan that she didn't actually have, then she'd be more unique. Every strong Saiyan could turn gold, but the really strong ones didn't brag about it. She was busy mentally patting herself on the back when she got a look of Yanwangs face and squinted at him with a tilted head to the side. "What hurts your brain? Did I say something dumb again? Apparently been doin' that lately. Sorry." She was so used to talking to the Ogres and people of Otherworld, then spending her time talking to no one for months at a time since she was resurrected that her social skills were lacking to say the least. 

    
    Slowly she shook her head and raised her eyebrow towards him. "No not, awesome. I mean not that you don't look cool I guess, with the horns. You just aren't really ugly like a lot of the ogres I saw. You also don't smell funny. A lot of them smelled like...hm...well how do I describe it. Have you ever smelled a rotten soul? Some of them usherin' people around all day for decades start to smell like 'em. You mostly smell, normal I guess." She had never put much thought into the different smells of Species until she died and smelled what literal death smelled like, and not just a body. It was strange smelling a soul, and thankfully nothing in the living realm shared the odor. "Yeah I know about the cold and boring part. I went there once. Once was enough.", throwing up her arms into an X and shaking her head. "I hate the cold.", scratching the back of her head some and letting out a sigh as it sounded like he might not be able to give as much information as she was hoping for. "So you don't know how Nashua ended up in charge of Arcose? People either don't know or won't tell me. Hard to get the other side of the story"

    His comment caught her off guard, mostly because there was truth to what he was saying. It felt as if every other Saiyan she had met had been glowing with golden hair and a power level eclipsing her but in reality it was only a few. "You got me there. I haven't met many. Nashua, that Vocado guy, uh I guess Tarch but I didn't know he was a Super Saiyan. I know a few others but they are only that way since I met them, so I guess it counts.", looking thoughtfully off into the distance. "Well damn. Didn't think about it that way." She immediately waved her hands in front of her as he made his thoughts apparent, then stopped and slowly dropped them. "Well I wouldn't say she is a bad person at all. I wouldn't say she is a good one either. I...guess I don't actually know. We aren't all that close if I'm honest. I know she does good things and I guess some people think she has done bad things, but I don't think they are all that bad. Alright little guy, you got me thinkin' now."

    What was a simple conversation with a strange tiny person with horns she had just met was suddenly turning into a deep discussion on the surface and giving her a lot to think about. "I don't...know.", furrowing her brow as she tried to make sense of what he had said, and tried to apply it to what she knew of the situation, which was not only one-sided but much less than she first thought. "I guess it makes sense. I don't know the whole story, and I really don't know at all what actually happened on the planet. Like did she just show up, make an announcement and got made leader. Did she kill a buncha people? I really don't know. Guess I just felt I needed to stick up for her bein' family and all."

    "He wasn't much to remember. I keep hearing about him so I guess he is or was pretty important. There are a lot of Saiyans, so I can't remember 'em all. He was a Super Saiyan though, yeah, so that's somethin'", shrugging a bit. The only reason this Vocado person stuck out to her was the strangeness of their meeting along with how short it was, and of course the glowing. Truth be told she wouldn't have a much better memory for her cousin if she wasn't her cousin, but as busy as she was earlier in life, and the whole being dead thing kept her thoughts elsewhere. "What if you've done good things and bag things on purpose? What if you've done bad things but only someone else thought they were bad things but you didn't think they were good or bad things? What if you had to do a bad thing to survive? What if you do a good thing for a bad reason?" This conversation with the little ogre was turning out to be more than she bargained for. The little guy seemed ridiculous at first with his megaphone and claims of beating up Nashua, but he had a wisdom about him all the same that kept her attention.
    

    She hadn't really thought much about the Arcose situation, because really it only affected her to a certain extent and it was really out of sight out of mind at this point. She had a lot of other things to worry about and since the war was seemingly over with the fleet then she had no reason to care about Arcose itself. There was however some concern for what Nashua might or might not have done, and whether she liked it or not she was associated with Nashua the more people learned of their family ties. If Nashua really had done something bad here, how was she supposed to feel about it, and did it really even matter. "I don't know. I've never taken over a planet and called myself their Queen.", laughing for a brief moment, before transitioning almost into a frown. "Well shit."
