Thread: 30,194 Oozaro: 150,970 Techs: Ki Supp, Ki Sense, Afterimage (SU1), Energy Beam (A1-UA2) It has been some time since Ash was in Central City, the events unfolding there being one for him to remember for his life. He felt good about himself, being able to help others, though he still felt useless since everyone else was directly handling the source of the issue. So he has found himself climbing this monstrous mountain, one so high the temperature drops faster than he can adjust. He wasn't wearing any special clothes for the cold winds or the chilling snow and ice, he wore his average get up thinking that by training up here, all while taking on the harsher climate, he'll get stronger. His feet crunch the snow below him, something of an oddity of a substance he's never seen, or felt before. "Weird stuff, I guess this is what happens when places get really cold on planets. Though I guess that's why I came here, to freeze myself to death while training.. Hehe, well, hopefully not literally.." Anytime the icy, cold, solid flakes landed on him they melted into water, something that entertained him as he climbed. His arms was crossed, trying his best to stay composed and not give in to the blistering cold air. "Urgh, just a little longer, there has to be an end to this incline.." His hair flowed with the wind, snow beginning to pile up every once and a while, making him have to shake his head. His skin was slightly paler, the lack of heat making his blood retreat further into his body, making his appearance look more grim. Though he continued on, to some extent able to withstand the cold. Living on an asteroid that almost has no atmosphere, just enough to breath, meant that the chilling fronts of space snuck onto the asteroid on occasion. While though the coldness of space is far worse than this, this is the longest he's ever had to stay in this type of climate. Over time he manages to reach a flat area, snow glittering the landscape completely. He could barely tell the difference between the ground he walks on and the blurred sky above, what with all the clouds and hurricane like winds blowing snow everywhere. He came here to train, and how he was going to train was beyond him. He had gotten stronger since fighting Okra, but after meeting him in the desert, Okra outclassed him completely. He wasn't sure if Aurora nor Dion got stronger, but if Okra could make jumps and leaps in power, so could they. He lowered his arms and let his energy burn around him like a fire, suppressing the cold somewhat and helping clear his vision better, since his aura acted like a barrier that held back the flurry of wind that would strike against him. He let out a light yell, his voice echoing as his power bolstered around him, rising as high as twice his height. He started to train, forcing his body to move through the snow, his fists to be exposed to the cold, and his skin to shriek with discomfort. "Rahahaha! Ratatata, dadadada!!" He grit his teeth in between the small shouts and moved forward, sending strikes of kicks through the hardly see through blurs the winds and snow caused. Energy blasts being shot around, coming back to him, deflecting them or taking them head on. He was testing his body, it's limits, and for how long he could train in these conditions. Already his arms felt weak, as if the feeling of them was growing smaller by the minute. He increased the intensity of his aura, some feeling in his arms began to return to him. "I'm going to need proper control of my ki to even survive training like this. I have to keep it at a certain level so I can still feel my body, but keep it down and compressed. If I want to get stronger, I need my ki to be under control." He stayed at this level, his energy around him kept him just warm enough to keep going, but weak and compressed enough so the effects of the cold plagued his body. Hours passed and he was bruised, lightly cut, and overall still kicking with adrenaline. His feet tip toed along the snow as he vanished, using his afterimage behind him as a visual to act as another person. Of course he couldn't fight his own image, but using it as a motivation he could definitely do. Ki blasts he had scattered around the area started to rush towards him, the winds and snow making his vision almost next to useless. He tried to sense the ki of his own attacks, and mostly it worked, letting him deflect or dodge most blasts, albeit the few that still blew up against his body. It's been quite a while, and there appears to be a small cave off to the side. He takes a moment to slow down and stop, looking over at the cave as his feet rests in the soft but freezing snow. He made his way over, entering into the cave. As he looks around, there were spikes of ice hanging from the ceiling, as well as already burnt logs made into a circle at the end of the cave. The cave itself was only some twenty feet deep into the mountain, and so he retreated to its farthest back, creating a ball of energy around the logs. They began to ignite thankfully, but very quickly the fire itself frozen into pure ice. He grunted, displeased with the fact that even though he has taken shelter, the cold still pestered him. He creates another ball of energy, this time the ball acted as its own flame. Heat radiated off of it, and it kept him moderately comfortable for the time being. He rested softly against the wall, sitting down eventually as he enjoys the warmth. This was going to be a grueling training regime, but nothing that was going to break him.
While he sat around for few minutes, already training inside his own mind, something made him snap into reality. A large energy was nearby, and it sent off all the alarms a Saiyan's body could have. He rose to his feet, staggering slightly, and fell into a defensive stance. How close the person was couldn't be made out since the storm outside made it difficult to concentrate properly. He stared out of the entrance for the cave, waiting for the inevitable to reach him. Though something felt off, the ki he sensed felt familiar but he couldn't pinpoint as to whom it belonged too, nonetheless he kept his stance. Even should this person be a friend, the possibility of a foe lingered in his mind. Who was it that would also come here of all places? Only someone stupid or insane and stubborn would come up here- Oh wait, he himself did come up here.. Well that's for another time to think about.

“Fucking hell it’s cold,” he muttered as he walked through the blizzard. This must be how Arcose was on most days. Freezing, windy, snowy, and overall, really really shitty. Made sense that the lizard bastards were from there, given their own cold as ice hearts. The day an arcosian ever cared for anything other than themselves would be the day hell froze over. Very few of those ass hats gave a damn about anything other than ruling over other creatures.
He had come up here to train, figuring the harsher conditions would help his progression. This, however, was a bit much. He hadn’t figured there would be a massive ice storm that would interrupt his training. The saiyan had lasted before the cold got to him and he decided to seek some form of shelter. Unfortunately, the land was rather desolate. Which made sense given its proximity from any form of civilization. Harsh environment non withstanding. Growing food was impossible and animals were scarce.
His feet crunched against the snow as he took step after step. In most cases he’d fly, but that would be too easy. The longer he could persevere through the elements, the more it would benefit him. Still hypothermia was no joke. If he couldn’t find shelter soon, he’d have to let go of his stubbornness and fly somewhere warm.
In the distance, he spotted a large cave. Strangely enough, it seemed that the smoke was coming out of it. The saiyan frowned and decided to proceed cautiously. He was sure this land was near deserted, but clearly someone else was here. If they managed to survive up here, they might be strong. They might’ve had the same intentions as him, coming to these desolate lands to train. Or, maybe it was one of those human monks he has heard about. Both were equally likely.
The saiyan suddenly decided to forgo caution, and rushed into the cave. He held a ball of energy in one hand in case of hostilities. He immediately dissipated the ki when he saw the cave’s resident.
“Oryian, surprised to see you again. What are you doing out here in the middle of nowhere? Training?”
The amount of times he had run into the kid… it really was a small world wasn’t it? Last time he had seen Oryian, he had been investigating a temple with him. That was an interesting day.

As the energy grew closer, so could his ability to sense their ki. This energy was so damn familiar, and it hits him only prior to the person abruptly and quickly dashes into the cave. It was Okra! The energy he felt was none other than the man himself! Ash would smile softly and come up from his stance, giving a light wave at his friend. Okra would greet him, asking a question that he sort of answered already. "Training, and I can assume you're here for the same reason?" He'd chuckle to himself, going over the ball of energy he created that's creating light and warmth. Smoke still left the cave as the energy burnt the wood further, every now and again a small flame may arise before dying out almost as quickly as it came. "It's funny isn't it? How in such a big world, we run into each other in the most unlikeliest of places. First a deserted wasteland, at a random food place, a temple in the middle of a desert and now here." He'd sit down by the ball of energy, warming himself back up as he left the cold, unforgiving winds that blew by at the entrance of the cave.
Ash would remember the times he met Okra, how they both fought with everything they had.. Or at least he did, he wasn't pulling punches. Okra though, on the other hand, he doesn't really know how hard he actually fought. Though judging by Okra's energy, he must've drank some kind of magical juice and did a million push ups with how huge his power is. Ash never did fully acknowledge how strong Okra was back at the temple, albeit he knew it was big. As he sat there though, he had plenty of time to sense Okra's ki. "I can tell you've gotten quite stronger since we fought at the wasteland. Tch, if I had to make a rough estimate, you're just barely twice my strength now." Since they met at McBao's, the same could be same as Okra was twice his strength back then. At least he can be prideful that he hadn't let himself become less so since then. "I haven't been slacking though, at least I haven't fallen further below half your strength since we met at McBao's. Though I guess that's why I came here, to try and close the gap."
He'd remember how he met the dangerous, and angry, Super Saiyan Mother. How her power by comparison to his was almost impossible, the gap being too large he couldn't hope to reach her level of power. If he turned into an Oozaru, he'd probably still be an ant to a mountain. He'd also think, remembering that the costumed person mentioned a Super Saiyan. From there, he only assumed he was referring to the rampaging woman. Unlike a regular Saiyan, or an Oozaru to his knowledge, her hair was a golden mixed yellow, and her aura was bright yellow that flared with incredible power. That form, with her appearance, he only assumed it was a transformation. What kind of transformation though? He'd wonder that he would have to be reaaalllyyy pissed off to become a Super Saiyan, considering the one he met was more livid than any person he's ever met. Though this was a guess, she could've obtained that power in other ways, and her blind rage simply was just due to the loss of her son. Last time he checked, Okra was a Saiyan, perhaps he might know something. "Say, I know this might be a little out there, but... What do you know about Super Saiyans..? Like, that it is.. How it happens.. All that stuff.." He'd look up at his older friend, hoping he may hold some knowledge on the subject.

Oryian, the kid with a rather tragic backstory. Okra had displayed a rare moment of genuine empathy when he had first met the young teen. He had, had a hard life as a slave for pirate scum. Being abandoned by your parents at such a young age would be difficult for anyone. The kid held a lot of mental fortitude to not have a jaded world view. Most in his position would be bitter and filled with feelings of revenge, but Oryian would rather protect. Okra still thought it ideal and naive, but he could respect the kid for it.
The saiyan crossed his arms, a softer look crossing his features. He nodded his head, “Right, I came here to do a bit of training. I figured being all the way up here meant I wouldn’t get interrupted. Plus, I thought the harsh conditions would help me progress faster. Got a little too cold even for me though,” he shook his head, “I didn’t think Earth could get this cold. And yea, it is funny, I’ve run into you more than anyone else on the planet. Considering how many people are on Earth, it’s a little surprising. Stalking me are ya?” he finished with a joking grin.
Okra scratched the back of his head awkwardly when Oryian mentioned his strength. In truth, he had no clue how much stronger he had grown. He wasn’t able to sense ki, and without a scouter, he had no way of measuring how strong he was. Last he remembered his power level was around 18,000, and that was back on the penal colony. He figured he had gotten a small zenkai after the injuries he sustained there, but he was unsure just how much stronger he had gotten. He had no idea if his power level was still around 20,000 or if it was somewhere near 70,000. He’d have to get a scouter soon.
“Really?” Okra questioned, rubbing the back of his neck “I honestly have no clue how strong I am. I can’t measure ki and I don’t have a scouter. Last I checked it was around 18,000. If I really have doubled in strength since then that’d be impressive, I guess. I’m sure you’ll close the gap in time,” he finished with a shrug in an attempt to somewhat encourage the younger saiyan.
When Oryian brought up the Legend of the Super Saiyan, Okra narrowed his eyes. He supposed Oryian had never heard the tale of the super saiyan considering he grew up a slave. Fortunately for him, Okra knew a little bit about the warrior of legend.
The saiyan decided to take near the ball of energy. The heat that washed over him felt nice as he prepared to speak. He cleared his throat and began to tell the tale, “The Legend of a Super Saiyan was an old saiyan legend that dates back to our first recorded history. A Super Saiyan is a saiyan that has achieved such overwhelming power, they transform into a golden state. It was said that a Super Saiyan has a golden aura and golden hair. They are considered the most powerful warriors in not only our race’s history, but the entire galaxy’s,” he paused for a moment, trying to remember more of the history, “Two hundred years ago, the legend became truth. Numerous super saiyans appeared, including an ancestor of mine, General Mayze. He was the originator of my father’s house, but my father married into the Bonemoon family, and now we are no longer considered to be under Mayze’s house,” he realized he was straying off-topic. He shook his head, and continued along, “Recently, there has been another influx of Super Saiyans, including my cousin, Vocado. I don’t know how many there are, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a handful of them.”
The saiyan stroked his chin, thinking for a moment before continuing, “I’m not sure how to achieve the form. That was lost to time, and I haven’t asked Vocado how he achieved it. I want to do it myself, without anyone's help,” he frowned and said, “Well, that’s not entirely true. People in the past that a Super Saiyan will appear when there’s a need for the transformation. I guess the World Trade Fleet invasion provided that need,” he finished, letting the words hang in the air.

Okra followed in with him, sitting down by the ball of energy that provided heat to the back of the cave. Okra spoke some in regards to his power, which seemed odd how he used numbers as a reference. "Well, if "18,000" was how strong you was relatively to when we fought, I'd say you have gotten about four times stronger since then. As for me, I've only gotten nearly twice as strong, so I'm just barely less than half your strength." He'd relax against the rocky wall of the cave, the warmth of the energy soothing him greatly as the chills from outside faded away. He still couldn't believe how strong Okra had gotten, though he has likely had a few fights in between their meetings. Ash has done more exploring than anything, what with meeting Safe, going to a convention in the city, going to a McBao's and that strange temple. If he had trained some more, he may very well could've been on the same level as Okra, but Earth fascinated him so much he just had to explore it.
As the atmosphere between them dies down after he questioned Okra about the Super Saiyan, he felt blessed when his friend explained the Legend. According to history, some hundred years back, Super Saiyans was rather much a common appearance among the Saiyan race. Nowadays, it seems Super Saiyans has become something that has returned to the world, the World Trade Fleet serving as the prime catalyst for the sudden boom in the Legend. He heard Okra talk of his family, how one of his ancestors was a general named Mayze. Ash thought of his family, curious if there were anyone else past the family that sent him away. Was there actually anyone he was related too, who he could befriend that wouldn't treat him poorly as he had been before? To find out, he'd have to go to Vegeta.. An undeniable fact it would seem, going to his original home world for answers he wishes to seek from others. Thankfully at the least, Okra knew some of his family, by name so far to his knowledge. The words of Okra floated in between them for some time, Ash considering the next things he should say to break the quiet air.
"Well.. The descriptions you gave for a Super Saiyan is right. The golden hair, the yellow aura, the immeasurable power given from such a transformation.. I've met one, well, rather I found myself in a disposition to have to face a Super Saiyan." He didn't much face the Super Saiyan as he had more so supported the group, and did what he could to defend the city. The blasts alone from a person who obtained this Legend was intense, so much that he could barely believe his arms simply didn't fly off his body. A feeling of remembrance of the barrage of ki blasts created a chill in his arms. "I didn't much face her, though I felt I almost had too given the situation.. I had to fend off a wave of ki blasts from her, preventing as many as I could from bringing the city to nothing but rubble and destroyed buildings." He recalled how people started to show up, springing up from nothingness, and powering up to face the enraged woman and her immense power. It inspired him, to want to be one of those strong people, but first things first he had to close the gap. Even if he was an Oozaru, he'd be slaughtered on the spot by anyone person who has access to Super Saiyan. "Strong people showed up to defend the city, so I did what I could on my part. Though I guess that's also why I need to train harder, and leave the exploring for another time. I need to close the gap, so should I ever face someone of such intensity and power.." An image flashed in his mind, the rage and fire behind the blue eyes of the Super Saiyan he had met, her golden yellow hair... He has to reach that level of power, if not grow stronger still. If there's already people who can out-class him by such a large margin, he needs to push his everything to his limits and break it repeatedly if he even hopes of matching up to such opponents.
Just at the thought of training harder, fighting stronger people, and pushing his limits to try and break them got his blood boiling. He got up, and walked out of the cave. He let his aura blow up around him, the bright light emitting from his white aura made seeing a few feat around him possible. The intensity of his energy was definitely stronger than when he had first landed on Earth, and he had grown this stronger after minor training and one singular fight with Okra. The possibilities of his strength increasing if he fights more people gets him excited. As to be expected for being a Saiyan, he just simply can't contain himself. "Training harder to break my limits and fight stronger people.. I just can't hold it in, it's got me absolutely ecstatic!" He delivers one sweeping kick, the raging storm around him was blown back slightly from the kick, but immediately resumed it's rampage around him as his aura protected him from the cold. A slight wind would blow into the cave as well as the kick was made, likely to brush Okra's hair slightly as it would reach the back of the cave. "Besides, if I want to be anything more than support for others when I face another Super Saiyan... Then I guess getting back to training on the double is my, as of this exact moment, my only priority!" He'd chuckle to himself, looking at Okra as he felt himself grow hot with excitement. One thing that'll never change for any Saiyan of any background, is that they are a Saiyan nonetheless... Poor kid will eventually bite off more than he can chew, but hey, until then.. He might as well make the ride there well worth his while.

Okra’s eyes widened in surprise. Ki sense really was something. Maybe he should learn it sometime, “4 times huh? Damn, I’d be around… 70,000. That’s… incredible,” to gain such strength in such a short amount of time amazed him. He had no clue how he’d done it. Earth really must’ve been something special for him to gain strength so quickly. And so much of it too, he hadn’t even been here for a month yet! He was very pleased with himself.
Okra cocked an eyebrow when Oryian mentioned he had met a Super Saiyan. Even to block away their stray ki blasts would be difficult and an impressive feat at Oryian’s level. Okra had yet to see a Super Saiyan in person, but he had a feeling the time would come soon. The dragon ball hunt was coming to a close, and Vocado’s enemies would try to stop him from getting his wish. Okra would be there to help his cousin when the time came.
“So you’ve seen the legend then? I have yet to see the form myself. To be able to defend against her blasts… that’s impressive,” he replied. He rose to his feet and followed Oryian outside the cave. The wind yipped at him and the cold seeped into his bones, but he ignored it for the time being. He wasn’t some old fool.
He smiled at Oryian’s declaration of training being his new number one priority. The kid really was a saiyan at heart, even if he hadn’t grown up in the kingdom. Love of fighting and constant training seemed to be intrinsic to their race. Hopefully it wouldn’t ever get the teen killed. It was still a dangerous world out there.
The saiyan cocked his head to the side as an idea came to him, “Well if you want to get stronger. Why don’t we spar?” he cracked his knuckles, continuing “Fighting someone stronger than you is one of the quickest ways to gain power. Besides, it’s been a few days since I’ve had a good fight.”

Ash looked at Okra as he offered to spar with him. His only response to that was a wide grin, lets his aura fade away. He already accepts this offer, showing it by blowing a ki blast between them to hide him as he leaps off into the raging storm. Without the ability to sense ki, nor the equipage of a scouter, vision is Okra's best friend right now. The raging storm is almost deafening, and Ash's only advantage is that he can just barely sense Okra's ki through the raging storm. He considers his choices, knowing that last time he was in this situation he got countered very easily. He feels out his surroundings, creating images in his mind as to how he could proceed with his moves. He looks over from where he came from, formulating an idea. He creates a small ball of energy in his hand, throwing his hand forward as the ball of ki launches towards Okra, as close as he could make it go. He vanishes from where he stood, the imprints of his feet in the snow covers up instantly. Should Okra be distracted by the ki blast as it breaks through the blur of the storm, heading towards him, Ash will appear behind him to throw the hardest kick he could muster to try and throw Okra into the blinding blizzard.
As long as Okra stayed by the cave, he had an advantage since he should be able to at least see some feet around him, the cave from behind providing a light source. If this combo works, he'll dive headlong into the storm towards Okra, his body vanishing as the storm swoops over his body. The storm likely would blind Okra's vision almost entirely, his hearing as well as Ash's would be hindered just the same. From somewhere to Okra's right, Ash would throw a quick jab at him, retreating if possible to vanish and reappear in order to deliver more blows from blur of the storm. If all his strikes would land, he'd be sure to vanish as quickly as he could in order to retreat and approach from other angles. In the process of all this, he'd place ki blasts all around the area around Okra in order to help pinpoint Okra's position as well as serve as back up should any of his flurry of strikes, punches and kicks be blocked or countered back successfully. He is taking no chances in this fight, nor pulling his punches since his opponent is twice his strength. "Come... On... Okra!" He'd say as he appears and vanishes into the storm, though if Okra could tell from Ash's face in the moments he appears, Okra could see an excited smile with a mixed serious complexion. Ash just felt at ease with himself. Sparring was such a stress reliever, it was strategical and fun, and most of all it was training he needed for his progression. Who better to train with as well, than Okra, the man he first sparred with on Earth? It just felt right, and he loved every moment of his time as he spent it fighting with Okra.

Oryian didn’t waste much time in accepting. The younger saiyan hopped into the shroud of the blizzard, making it impossible to seem him. Okra grinned. It seemed Oryian would try to use the storm to conceal himself considering Okra had no way of sensing him. It was smart, and could be used to the teen’s advantage. He really should invest in a scouter. Not having one was a hindrance in conditions like this. It would also make communication with Vocado much easier.
The saiyan bent his knees and settled himself into a fighting stance. He bided his time, waiting for Oryian to make the first move. He didn’t mind reacting, especially since he was stronger. He’d take it slow for now and go a little easier on the kid than he usually would.
A ki blast came shooting from the blizzard. The warrior reacted by firing his own ki blast. The two balls of ki slammed into each other, causing a small explosion in the air that illuminated the surrounding area for but a moment. He wasn’t sure where Oryian was just yet, but if he wasn’t going to attack from the front. Then he would probably attack from the back.
Okra spun on his feet just in time to catch Oryian’s kick. He tried to get a firmer grasp on the younger saiyan’s ankle and attempted to throw him away, back into the storm. He sent a quartet of ki blasts trailing after the kid.
“You’ll have to do better than that!” he tried to yell over the storm. He didn’t think Oryian would be able to make out his words, but he tried nevertheless.
An idea popped into his head. The saiyan grinned, and increased his external ki output. His aura flared to life around him and the immediate area became much more visible. The external ki output caused the snow to melt in a 10 foot radius. It was a bit draining on the saiyan, but he had plenty of energy to spare.

As Ash's kick flies at Okra, it would appear he was able to react very easily to try and block him. He accepts this, willingly letting himself get grabbed and sent off into the storm. Ash takes a glance at the cave, the last visible thing Okra would see Ash do is close his hand. The ball of energy in the cave explodes, collapsing the cave behind them. Not only did he snuff out the light, as well as remove a place of retreat, he practically blinded Okra even further. As he fell into the storm, his body completely vanishing from sight. As he lands upon the ground, he could feel energy signatures heading towards him. He side steps these blasts, one of them in which he throws a combined swing from both hands to hurl the ki blast back at Okra. His energy blasts may be child's play, but Okra's own attacks is something he can't completely ignore. Ash takes a minute while he rests in the storm, considering his options. Not long afterwards, he could feel Okra's ki rising as aura bursts to life around his friend, melting the snow and clearing a field of view. Ash takes a few leaps back, almost actually getting caught within the new area of vision Okra has created. It won't be easy to fight him, being only half as strong. He vanishes around the area, placing more and more balls of energy to help act like guiding energy signatures he could follow. He creates many balls of energy outside Okra's area of vision, seemingly placing them like land mines into the ground. He takes a moment to focus his senses, the area around him becoming easier to sense. He could see all his balls of energy, and feel a blurred presence in the middle where Okra is at. Well, he'll just start by shooting ki blasts in the air above Okra. (Like the hellzone grenade.) One by one, and an increasing rate, he guides the balls of energy downwards towards Okra. Ki blasts would enter Okra's vision, coming from all of his sides one by one. The first few came from the left, a couple others from above. Increasingly, more and more was being sent and being sent much faster. If Ash never actually moves, but rather instead shoots ki blasts around Okra, his true position won't be known all while he can formulate a plan while keeping Okra busy. "This won't do much... But it's a start.." KP: 3/3

Okra’s hand firmly grasped around the younger saiyan’s ankle. With a small grunt, he tossed the boy back into the storm. Oryian managed to dodge most of his ki blasts, and even deflected one back at the warrior. Okra merely batted the energy ball away, sending it flying through the air. A sudden explosion rang out from withing the cave followed by a small tremble that shook the ground as the cave collapsed in itself. Their shelter from the elements was gone.
The saiyan waited patiently for Oryian to make the next move. He stopped flaring his ki and let the storm once more hide his surroundings. He’d find Oryian when he wanted to, he just hoped this would incentivize the boy to attack.
After about a minute or two, a plethora of small ki blasts came hurtling towards him. The orbs of energy were easy to see in the storm due to their luminosity. The saiyan deflected them as they came, sending them flying in random directions. There was a chance one may have been deflected back at Oryian.
Okra was growing a little frustrated. He’d rather fight Oryian head on, not deflect random ki blasts. He wouldn’t get anything out of this training if it continued like this. Perhaps he should finally take the initiative and engage the young saiyan. Hand to hand combat would be much more exciting than this. Even if he did outmatch the young kid, he wasn’t planning on going all out. This was supposed to be a spar, not a real fight.
“Enough of this,” he called out. He let his ki flare once more, melting the snow in a nearby radius. He continued to push his ki further out until the teen came into view. It only took a moment before he spotted the boy.
He rushed the boy, charging in with a powerful sucker punch toward Oryian’s jaw. He lowered how much ki he was burning, flaring just enough to keep the younger saiyan in his sights. He followed with a quick punch at the gut and a kick aimed for Oryian’s side. Okra finished with a flurry of punches aimed around the younger saiyan’s body.
He didn’t plan on letting the kid escape back out into the storm any longer. He wanted him to stay here and fight him mano e mano.

At first, the dispersal of Okra's aura was a good sign, in his head he'd think this just meant Okra's vision was lessened.. Well, seemingly so, had it not been for the fact his ki blasts illuminated light. Very soon, Okra's aura surrounded his area again, and pushed on further until the young Saiyan was now within Okra's vision. "Well, I guess trying to form a plan isn't an option..!" Because screw plans, and screw trying to strategize because Saiyans be Saiyans. Oh those Saiyans.. Oh wait, he was a Saiyan. As soon as Okra could see him, his friend had launched himself forward. Ash stood in his place, in a regular stance. As Okra's fist comes forward to his face, all Okra's fist would do is go straight through him. An image was left behind as he vanished, exploding his ki around him to its fullest extent, driving the strongest gut punch he could muster as he reappears under Okra's arm. "HA!" Should his punch land, he'd immediately follow up to land a strong upper cut into Okra's jaw. Only after, Ash would try to back away and surround himself with his ki, getting into a defensive stance. "I'm pretty close to my limit to be honest.. There isn't much else I can do against you in a head on fight.." Of course that was a lie, he did have a trick up his sleeve. He'd lift his hand up, and close it again as he had done before, ki blasts from everywhere around them would come into view, soaring towards Okra. The ki blasts he had placed around them merely for the use of marking his surroundings, now is the second best card he could pull. In the same instance, he'd charge at Okra, planning to throw one, end all be all punch towards Okra's stomach again. If lady luck is on his side, and his ki blasts even serve somewhat as a distraction in any way, his punch to Okra's stomach would formulate a ball of energy that is comprised of whatever external energy Ash could offer. Of course he still has ki reserves to keep his body going, but every other ounce of energy was focused into one ball of energy that is in Ash's hand. "Everything I got Okra, Every...THING! HAA!!" He'd open his hand, the ball of energy exploding instantly, hopefully catching Okra within the blast. The blast knocked the storm back around them briefly. Smoke filled the area before it was blown away instantly as the storm continued to rage once more. Everything he could muster, all of his non-reserve energy, used right then and there. That was the most energy he has ever created, and his body felt weak. He'd fall over onto one knee, breathing heavily as he'd try to catch his breath. "I... I think I've.. lost..Hah..." He'd chuckle at himself, knowing that the full on assault was going to bring an end result no matter what he may try. "There was no way.. I was going to- Hah.. Win against you, hehe.. But hey, I had fun.. I got to test my limits to their maximum against you.. Thanks." He'd look up at Okra, and after everything is said and done he'd smile softly. It may take a little bit of time before he could recover, not very long, maybe just some 10 or 15 minutes, but nonetheless he felt tired all the same. KP: 0/3 After Image used! Okra’s strike swiped through Oryian’s afterimage. He grimaced, an afterimage? So Oryian really had mastered the technique. Impressive when it was done in such a short amount of time. The kid really was something special. He’d be strong someday, but today Okra would be winning this fight.
Oryian reappeared under his arm and threw a powerful gut punch. Okra quickly moved his arm, deflecting the blow before it struck him. He didn’t pursue when the younger saiyan backed away once more. He cocked his eyebrow when Oryian said he was at his limit. Already? He hadn’t even struck the kid and he was already done? That didn’t seem right, at all.
He replied, “Tired already? That’s awfully quick.”
However, it seemed the younger saiyan really wasn’t finished. A plethora of ki blasts came hurtling at the saiyan from around the area. Oryian must have planted them earlier while he was out of sight. At the same time, the teen came charging at him again.
The saiyan quickly spun around, extending his hands and letting loose a volley of ki blasts to meet the incoming orbs. A ring of explosions spread out around him as the orbs crashed against each other.
Oryian unleashed his energy attack, but the blast merely phased through Okra’s afterimage. He appeared a few feet behind the younger saiyan. He was still positioned in a combat stance, but slowly relaxed when he saw Oryian on his knees, declaring defeat.
The saiyan frowned. He still had yet to hit Oryian and the boy was already declaring defeat. Sure the power gap was wide, but he felt the kid gave up a little too easily. He should fight till he couldn’t battle any longer. He was hoping for a good spar, but Oryian went all out too quickly. Usually Okra liked to wait till he went all out, get a good feel for his opponent, especially in spars. He wasn’t just going to beat down the kid. But, he wouldn’t push the kid if he didn’t want to fight any longer.
He moved close to Oryian and rested a hand on his shoulder, “Good fight. That attack looked like it packed a serious punch. And you really have learned the afterimage technique, that’s great. Some people spend years trying to learn it and never can. You're a quick study.”
He stepped back a moment, glancing up at the demolished cave. He pointed at it and frowned, “You kinda blew up our shelter, so we’re just gonna have to suffer out here in the cold I guess. That kinda sucks. Dunno where else for you to rest up,”
He held out a palm, “In the meantime,” a large ball of ki sprang to life on his hand, “We can use this to keep us warm,” he let the ki float up into the air. It emanated a decent amount of heat, but it wasn’t enough to keep them warm by itself. He repeated the action a few more times until there were five large orbs of ki surrounding them.
“That should do,” he grinned with a nod. He was already starting to feel a little warmer!

"You two have a nasty habit of choosing the most rugged sparring landscapes, you know that-?" Honestly? Dion did NOT want to be here. Stumbling around the mountains that scattered the Yunzabit Heights like a goddamned fool looking for a proper training area. Hell, the day before this he was getting all nice, warm, and cozy in one of his Diono's brand bars down in Central City, and compared to that, this was a real big change of pace on him. But, perhaps that was the reason why while he sure as hell didn't wanna be there, he really did have to be. It had been quite a long amount of time passed since his last training session in gravity constraints, and while the last time was a very good session, he didn't like such long spaces in-between gravity sittings, as that meant it would be a harsher backlash when he did eventually return to it. Although, there also was another question of location, as the last time he just chose some random snowy wasteland and he liked for the backdrop of every training period to be different to keep things interesting and not, yknow, too bland. And in trying to think up somewhere to try and slug it out with himself for a couple rounds, Dion suddenly realized that he never really checked out the more mountainous ranges of this planet's landscape, and so he wrapped himself up as best as he could for a quick little visit to the Yunzabit Heights to see if it ticked his fancy.
Overall, Dion didn't have much experience with mountains in the first place, as on Planet Vegeta his village was quite remote but very flat landed in composition, and thus did not have many mountains or hilly landscapes around it that he could explore for a taste of traversing a mountain range. Perhaps he should've done just a little more research before jumping straight into the deep end with the Yunzabit Heights-? Really, he couldn't have chosen the worst spot to begin to get used to the mountain life. This was not at all fit for a beginner, and to make things more interesting Dion had made himself promise that he would not at all use his flight ability to try and easily move through the mountains. He argued with himself that if he was to get a real measure of just how rough it would be to do this again with Gravity enabled, he needed to replicate some of the disadvantages displayed to him with gravity on, one of which was lack of or inability to fly very well. But, what he didn't take into account was the fact that he was a legit newbie at mountain climbing, and boy did he suck ass. He struggled to climb even the shortest of the mountains, and continued to struggle through even walking through them as wintery winds and blizzard like conditions persisted to bluster down on him as he made his way through.
Eventually, yes, Dion did acclimate himself to the conditions set, he was a Saiyan after all, the ability to adapt and grow quickly under testing circumstances was the name of their game most of the time and he really did put that to use. Now walking confidently through the critical climate, Dion suddenly picked up two familiar feeling power signatures nearby on another mountain just north of him. Deciding to break the rules a little bit, the bartender began to fly on over to where he had sensed the two presences, eventually hovering just above the two a couple hundred yards up.
A smile sneaked its way onto Dions face as he saw that it was two Saiyans that he most indeed had come quite well acquainted with before- Ash and Okra. Okra he wished he had stayed in touch with better, as he was quite a rich character history and personality wise, and he felt as though he was someone who could really tell him a thing or two about combat as well as their own race, but he could probably do without the poisonous hatred of Arcosians. Then again, it was most likely past experiences and tragedies that had made him so against the Frost Demon race, but that was a plot saved for later. And as for Ash- well, Dion always did like to train up some younger prospects as they brought a nice and colorful look onto the world as opposed to older, more set and experienced fighters. Overall, very nice to see them once more-!
In a similar fashion to their first meeting, Dion superhero landed a couple feet away from the two, creating a small crater and throwing up some dust as he slowly got up and began to stretch out a bit in a vain effort to warm up, readjusting his winter coat that was styled in similar fashion to Goku's own in Dragon Ball Super Broly as he spoke a warmhearted greeting toward the two, "Okra, Ash-! Wonderful to see you in less pressing circumstances, yes? And it looks like you've both grown a ways stronger than the last time we met as well, how quaint! I assume you're out here for the same reason I am? How have you two been?"
