Kohlra's PL: 120,000
Kohlra had been searching for Chromo for a while now. It’s been maybe a day or so since she began her search, having finished searching through the cities. She’d even double checked the Hetap factories, ‘cause knowing Chromo he might’ve drowned his sorrow through sugary drink. But it appeared that wouldn’t be the case, for it seemed as if the bug wasn’t anywhere near the cities. That, or he’s just been hiding from her, which was another possibility that could happen. After all, he might’ve blamed Kohlra for her own son’s death. If that were the case, she wouldn’t really put that against him, for even the saiyan herself believed to be the one to cause it. She wasn’t there to stop whoever killed Tarch; she wasn’t there to protect him whenever he needed it. Kohlra blamed herself more than she blamed the murderer at times, and during those times would she feel terrible. She had already come to terms that she sucked at parenting, but to think it would stoop this low…
But enough of that, Kohlra would begin to search through Mt. Paozu for her adopted son. Kohlra was hoping that this would be the place where he’d finally turn up, and the saiyan would hover around the area, shouting at the top of her lungs, “Chromo! Chromoooo!” She’d even cup her hands around her mouth to try to make herself sound louder, though it probably didn’t really do all that much.
Kohlra would just continue shouting for her son, not stopping until she found him.

A FAMILY IN GRIEVING
CHROMO'S PL: 1 (SUPPRESSED / 170k BASE)
Chromo's stomach roared in hunger, but the beetle only turned again in a futile effort to make himself comfortable. Curled in a small cave in the steep cliffs of Mount Paozu was the little beetle, sprawled and unmoving atop a damp rock. Although he tried to dismiss them, several of his Lessers remained huddled to their leader to keep him warm. His body demanded food- some Hetap to drink, some pizza to gobble, but Chromo didn't feel very hungry these past few days, noticeably skinnier than usual. As much as he tried, he couldnt stop his subconscious from influencing his clones and their unwavering desire to protect and serve him. Still, he turned his head away from the swarm, gripping the tattered jacket around his neck tighter. He just wanted to sleep the rest of his days away. Maybe he'd awake and find this was all some horrible nightmare... The beetle whined to himself, curling his head close and closing his eyes. He didn't bother to pay attention to the sound of distant shouting. A different pair of antennae perked at the sound of Kohlra's desperate calls, however. One lone Imperfect lesser, one of the few that had yet to complete its metamorphosis to the Semi-Perfect state, chirped quietly at the sound of the familiar voice. It raised an arm to preen its face, wiping at a chip in it's jaws and teeth before chittering and taking off. While the little bug had taken a beating way back during Chromo's rampage at West City, it remained the closest tied to his subconscious. What other clone could have enough life spoke to Desmond and Tarch back then? Whether Chromo wanted it or not, he needed help. "sSkkKREKkk--!!" A shrill buzz soon responded to Kohlra's shouting. A little trail of red blazed down the mountainside, stopping to hover beside the mother- the Imperfect lesser's lack of pupils and a horn would be enough to indicate it wasn't the real Chromo, however. Though it's language of rapid buzzes and clicks would have little meaning to the mother, it would grab onto her sleeve and tug vigorously with a much more urgent whine. If Kohlra took it's cue to follow, the beetle would dart back off to the mountainside with another call. And soon enough, if the mother followed its lead, the beetle would stop beside the little cave, littered with other passed out Lessers, and the limp form of their mourning leader with her son's torn jacket tied tight around him. He didn't seem to notice any change to his surroundings... That or he didn't have the energy to care.
Chromo uses [UT1] Sugarcoat to lower his PL to a wee level of 1.

Why would he hide in the middle of nowhere and not anywhere near a city? Kohlra knew that Chromo wouldn’t take it likely, but to hide out amongst the wildlife? That was strange to the saiyan, and she’d hope that maybe she just passed by a garbage can he was probably hiding out in. Whatever the case may be, the saiyan was concerned. She couldn’t lose another one of ‘her’ kids, and the thought alone would be enough to make her realize that Chromo was probably searching for the murderer himself.
The saiyan would stop and hover in the middle of the air, taking in a breath and preparing to yell out for his name once again. But she’d be cut off mid-shout whenever she heard a familiar buzzing noise, her eyes widening with a mix between surprise and relief. But upon seeing who made this noise, the saiyan would see that it was only one of Chromo’s lessers. She’d blink, listening to the little clone as he buzzed and clicked. “What are you saying? Is Chromo in trouble?” She’d ask, only to have her sleeve tugged upon. Just by how frantic sounding he was, she could tell that something was wrong. “Okay, okay! I’m goin’.” She’d respond, moving forward and allowing the lesser to lead her to wherever he wanted to take her.
She’d happen upon a cave, and she’d cautiously land just by the entrance. Kohlra would peer into it, her eyes widening immediately whenever she saw the terrible state Chromo was in. He looked terrible! “Chromo!” She’d say his name before walking into the cave, making sure to not step on any of his lessers as she approached the grieving leader. “It’s just me, kid… It’s Kohlra. You… you doing okay?” Her motherly instincts would seemingly take over, even if this child was… well, a demon monkey bug thing. “You look awful… how long have you been here? Look at me…” She’d kneel down on the ground just near the leader, if allowed by his lessers of course. "We need to get you out of here, kiddo..." She'd say whenever she had noticed that Chromo had on Tarch's jacket, "... because laying there won't fix anything." She tried her hardest in being careful with what she said, because she knew that Chromo had a... really explosive temper, having suffered the full wrath of it once. Plus he was in mourning... and honestly Kohlra wasn't really good with words anyways.

The Lessers parted with Kohlra's approach, chittering to each other. Their once emotionless faces were wrought with worry as some glanced from Kohlra to Chromo. The beetle's antennae perked in alarm as he heard Kohlra's voice, his ragdolled body turning stiff. "I-I-I'm s-sorry, I'm S-SORRY-YYy!!" He wailed in sorrow and fear, quickly backing into the corner of the cave. "I-It w-wasn't me! It wasn't me, I swear! I-I didn't want h-h-him t-t... t-to..." Chromo wrapped his arms around his head, curling his legs close with a desolate while. He expected Kohlra to accuse him as the killer- he'd killed her before, after all. The lost child shielded his face with his claws and shook like a leaf. There was no temper left to explode- the only things remaining in his aura was pained despair.
He pried one of his claws away in response to Kohlra's apparent concern. She'd briefly get a glimpse into his glassy eyes, his skin pale and eyelids swollen with an unhealthy amount of pink from his cries of grief. He managed to shake his head a little as she asked if he was okay. Did he look okay? He didn't think he looked okay. With another pitiful whimper, the beetle slumped back onto the ground. Laying there wouldn't fix anything, but what could he even do to fix things? He was made to destroy, not to repair.
"W-who? w-wh-whyyyy?" Chromo droned in sorrow again, face buried into his claws. Why did the universe insist on making sure every moment of his life was in sorrow? Had he not suffered enough for forgiveness? And who in their right mind would have done such a thing?! His fire was extinguished, and his heart felt lost without his brother to guide him. What would Tarch want him to do? Could he even do what Tarch would want him to do? Chromo whined again. He forgot Kohlra was there for a moment while the Lessers looked at the mother in pleading concern.

Kohlra would stop whenever she heard Chromo’s wails, frowning as he apologized to her. She’d let him whine and cry, taking another step closer to the bio android. “Hey, you don’t need to be sorry, kiddo.” She said, “I know you didn’t do it. You don’t have to be afraid of me, or anything like that. I’m here to help you, bud.” Kohlra was still careful as to not frighten him or anything, her movements slow. “I… I feel terrible with what happened too, but we can bring him back. Like… how you guys brought me back. With the dragon balls... you know?” She said, slowly making her way towards Chromo.
She’d glance to his lessers every now and then, but they weren’t at all aggressive whenever she approached, it had appeared. Kohlra was kinda scared that she might be swarmed again, but honestly she doubted they had the strength to do so, considering the leader’s condition. As he whined again, Kohlra would get down to her knees, just to get a lil’ closer to Chromo’s level. She wanted to tell him who did it, but she was scared he might go off and try to find Sensoa… and the last thing she needed was to have another one of her kids die from him.
“You can stop crying now. You did nothing wrong… we can still get him back, sweetie.” She’d then try to pick up Chromo, and if allowed, she’d embrace him. It might’ve been a little awkward considering he’s a bug and his smaller size, but… she’d try to hug him either way. “Let’s go outside, okay? I’ll get something to eat, I’ll make a fire, and… we can sit and talk. I know you’re in pain, kiddo… I am too.” She continued, “But sitting here won’t do us any good… and I need your help if I’m going to gather the dragon balls. We can bring him back, Chromo. We can bring him back…”

Dragon Balls. Chromo wasn't sure if he was supposed to despise or adore those stupid things anymore. They were the only things that could bring his brother back, but he had a sneaking suspicion that they might have been the cause for his death in the first place. He merely whimpered again, curling his body tighter. What would Tarch do to fix this mess..? The answer eluded him.
Chromo was snapped from his despair by a sudden hug from Kohlra. He initially flinched and chirped in surprise, but settled after a moment. Being hugged by the very same person he killed so long ago felt... weird. Tarch and his mother had forgiven him, but even now Chromo felt unsettled...
...Despite that, finally receiving care and affection after all his suffering felt gratifying.
The child sniffled again, hugging the woman and burying his face into her shoulder with another agonized whine. "B-but I could've... I-If I'd j-j-just--..." Maybe he could have done something to stop all this. He could have decided to stick around Tarch's place to play instead of heading off to eat, and then he could have helped him! Or maybe if he'd headed the other way, he could have bumped into his killer and warned Tarch beforehand, or... He wailed again. Chromo knew it was pointless to think of the could'ves and should'ves, but he couldn't stop thinking about it.
Bringing Tarch back seemed like a pipe dream more than anything. But Kohlra was right- sitting and crying wasn't going to do anyone any good. Chromo maintained his grip in his hug, propping himself atop Kohlra to let himself be carried. "B-but w-w-what if the guy who.... k-k-killed him is l-looking, too?!" Chromo whimpered. "I... If he could beat T-Tarch, h-he'd beat both of us! A-and then I'd... never..." Chromo trailed off into incoherent mumbles again. He barely knew what the Afterlife was or how it worked, but... He didn't think he'd go to the same good place Tarch did if he died.

Kohlra felt a small sense of relief whenever Chromo would let her pick him up, honestly expecting him to struggle and squirm rather than accept it. It was the first time she’d hugged him, and while he had all those extra limbs and felt a lil’ creepy due to all the bugginess, she’d feel just a little better about this situation. As the bio-android cried into her shoulder, she’d quietly shush him, gently patting his back a couple of times. “Don’t start thinking about that, kiddo. It’ll only make things harder on yourself, ‘cause I also think that I could’ve done something… but in reality, I couldn’t.” She said with a small frown, “But this is something we can fix. He can be brought back, like how you guys brought ME back. I’ll be helping out throughout the entire search… alright?” She tried to assure Chromo, rubbing his back. Euch, all pointy and… exoskeleton-y.
She’d hold onto Chromo, turning around to make her way towards the cave’s entrance. Chromo looked like he needed some sun, ‘cause who knew how long he laid there, crying in this cave. Not only that, but she needed to bring him some food, water, and a can of hetap if she could find any. Kohlra would hear Chromo whimper out, hearing him talk about the murderer and how he might be searching for the dragon balls too. She’d frown, but it’d slowly form into a small grin whenever he mentioned how he might’ve been able to beat both of them. “Yeah, but we won’t be searching right away. We can train before going out to hunt; it might take a month or so, but we can train and, you know, get stronger than him.” She said with a small snicker, “Plus, Chromo, I think I can put up a decent fight now.”
Once she’d exited the cave, she’d glance back into it before looking up towards the sky, closing her eyes for a moment. “I’ll show you what I mean.” Soon enough her power would increase, her hair standing up ever-so slowly. She’d let out a low growl as her energy flared to the millions, and just like that, her hair would turn golden, along with her aura! She’d soon open her eyes, looking down to Chromo with her greenish-blue eyes. Kohlra had that intense look to her, with her eyes just a little narrowed. She looked pretty angry, but… “This… This will help the both of us, I’m sure enough. B-But…” And with a sigh, the form would drop within an instant, with the saiyan stumbling slightly and taking a breath. “I-I need to train it… and that’s another reason why we need to prepare ourselves. I need to train myself with this form… so I can put up a fight without getting winded.” She said, standing up straight soon after.
“This is going to suck a million times over, but… we can do it, Chromo.” Kohlra said, “But before we do anything, I think it’s about time we go grab some food. What do you think, bud?” She’d look to him, grinning a little. “We can’t do anything with an empty stomach too, you know.”

CHROMO'S PL: 1 (SUPPRESSED / 170k BASE)
Chromo whined again in response to Kohlra. She was right- sulking wasn't going to fix anything. He had brought her back with Tarch's help, and it was technically possible to do the same for his brother... But the thought of his killer- or killers- being on the patrol for the cursed things too frightened the beetle. They could take some time to prepare, but that only presented another issue. "B-but what if the bad people gather them all before we're r-ready?!" Chromo stammered again. By the time they gathered enough strength to contest their foes, they could have gathered all seven Dragon Balls and gotten whatever their horrible wish was. When Kohlra said she could put up a fair fight, Chromo only grumbled in doubt. Even he killed her easy-peasy ages ago, as much as he regretted it now. Someone who could surmount Tarch would make it even quicker!
But soon enough, a familiar wave of gold caught the beetle by surprise. He yelped in shock at the newfound, scary-looking super saiyan. She could do that gold form too?! Chromo still knew very little about the specifics of the form both she and Tarch used, but he knew it was powerful from first-hand experience. Still, her Super Saiyan form wasn't nearly as trained or as powerful as Tarch's, it seemed... "I guess..." Chromo muttered with another sigh.
This all sucked so much. "F-first dad, sis, a-and m-mom did all that, and t-then the stupid stuff on Namek c-couldn't even bring them back, a-a-and now t-this i-i-is...!!" Chromo vented, wrapping his arms around his head. When would things stop hurting? Even if they did bring back Tarch, would it only be a matter of time before someone took something from him again? Was he cursed? He whimpered at the thought.
Food, though, was something he could think about without feeling awful. His stomach roared again. Some of the Lessers perked their heads up, chittering in anticipation at the mention of a proper meal. "Y-yeah, sure." He'd even take Kohlra's burnt and frosted chicken right now to eat. Or some McBaos. Hopefully their ice-cream machine was working.

Hearing that, Chromo did in fact had a point. There was a chance that the people searching for the dragon balls could make their wish BEFORE they were ready, which would obviously be a pretty horrible thing. But there was something to consider, and that has to be the fact that they could gather allies. From the President to maybe Nashua, there is a good chance that she could bring back her son. After she switched back to her base form, she’d say, “Then that’s why we go find some people that’ll help.” She said, “Even if we aren’t ready at the time, we’ll still have a lot more power compared to what we have right now. With some friends, I’m sure we’ll be able to take over anyone on. From the President and maybe even one of the Saiyan Kingdom members, I can assure ya that we’ll clobber ANYONE who gets in our way.” She said, her voice laced with confidence.
She’d wind down though after he began to vent, frowning as her voice took to a more calmer one. “Yeah, this is… this is honestly awful.” Kohlra continued, “I’m in a lot of pain; a pain like no other. I know what you’re going through is terrible… hell, a sweet kid like yourself don’t deserve this.” She’d pause, thinking for a moment before continuing, “But… this kinda stuff is the way of life. I can’t really explain it really well, but whenever you get older and become experienced with this kinda stuff, you’ll learn soon enough how to deal with it. Hell, you can even use the problems you have as fuel… and right now I have a crapload to burn.” She would snicker, “From Tarch’s death, to your pain, to being abandoned by my own parents… there’s a lotta fuel that keeps me going. You have a lot of fuel yourself, and all you have to do is just… fuel that fire in ya, you get me? Don’t let it choke out the flame, ‘cause that’ll only make things worse.” She said, kinda hoping that she managed to do this whole ‘give a life lesson’ thing well.
But on the topic of food, the saiyan would chuckle, “Let’s go grab some grub then. I know a good McBaos that’s down in South City, so we can grab a couple dozen burgers from there before we can get to training.” She’d smile to the bio-android before hovering herself up in the air, holding the bug in her arms as she did. “I know this is outta nowhere, but… I’m excited to train with you, kiddo.” And just like that, she’d be off! She’d probably go a bit slower just for the lessers to come and follow. Other than that, off she went to get some burgers, with Chromo in tow.
I think this makes for a good ending, unless you wanna continue. We can always make a new thread where they're gonna do some training! Anywho, is up to you nERD

Chromo remained silent as Kohlra explained that they could get allies. His mind wandered- what people could they gather on their side? There was that Nashua lady he met back on Namek, maybe that Yanwang dude... But would anyone even want to be a part of this mess? He grumbled again in his pessimism. Kohlra seemed confident, at least. He turned, giving his 'mother' the stink-eye as she called him a "sweet kid." He was a sweet kid that complained, cried, stole, killed, the list went on. But he still had a hard time figuring out what he did to make the universe think he deserved all this. But to use the pain and suffering as fuel to his fire...? Chromo shuddered. The last time he'd done that, Kohlra's dead body rested at his feet... No, he was sorry for all that. Would Tarch forgive him for killing the people that killed him? Would he even get the chance? Would he die too? Food, though, always was and would be good. He perked his antennae at the thought of a McBaos burger. "...R-right." He raised his head, climbing out of Kohlra's grip to fly beside her. They weren't able to train on an empty stomach, after all.
Thread exit as well!
