How to Train Your Oozaru | INVITE

    Carro's soul fueled LEO to become stronger than ever before. There was no doubt that she was one of the most powerful out there, but Carro didn't know if it was enough to surmount the threats that reared their ugly heads again to harm Earth. He had to be ready, willing to use every last trick in the book to protect his home, and ready to pay any price to keep his people safe... Even then, there was one ugly tactic that frightened Carro- his Oozaru state.

    Transforming like that hurt. Losing his mind, the gentle nature that made him himself was terrifying. Every time he activated it he was worried he'd come to and find blood on his hands and in his mouth. The form was an absolute last resort when killing and slaughtering was somehow the lesser evil of the choices he could pick... And right now, that choice was definitely not the worst evil he could resort to.

    He had to get over his fear eventually, and find some way to at least keep his bestial self in check. Before LEO could reign him in, but like this, he didn't know if she'd fall victim to bloodlust as well. What could he possibly trust to keep him sane, even after his mind was warped beyond recognition?

        ...Well, there was one person.

    Carro messaged Sulfur an hour or so ago, briefing the Avali on the basics of the situation. He was very clear about Sensoa's remergence, and that he was a very real and very deadly threat that would be tough to take care of again. But this time, Carro made sure to tell Sulfur that he wanted to fight against that evil together, one way or another. This time, he wouldn't push his allies away. Sulfur could be the one thing that could keep his primal form in line.

    If I'd recognize anyone after losing most of my brain cells, he'd proclaimed in his text to the Avali, it'd be you.

    ...The alternative to this would be that his Oozaru form's rage was still indiscriminate and try to murder his girlfriend, but they'd cross that bridge when they got there.

    "It's going to be fine." LEO's voice eased her anxious partner. "We'll take every precaution we can, and it's better to test this now than to find out the hard way later." Carro shuddered. "I suppose..." He sighed, slumping back in his chair in one of the empty training halls of the company. Everyone had clocked out, and the sun set on Central City. The silence was eerie- the calm before the storm.

    Carro shook his head and steadied his breathing. He'd faced worse.
