Rin-go cackled to himself as he dropped out of the shadows of the tree he had been hiding in, startling the ninja that had apparently been put in charge of following him, to the point that they fell out of the tree and landed upon the ground with a harsh whumpf. "Kakaka! Eat shit, ya spooky nerd!" Rin-go cackles from above them, lounging on the tree and grinning down at the masked man as he righted himself and quickly disappeared. Or, well, tried to disappear. Pretty hard to hide from a demon used to avoiding those with supernatural ability at hiding, and a small sigh leaves the orange demon as he realises that the ninja had returned to trying to watch him instead of returning to wherever they had come from. All the mirth drained out of the fun loving demon almost immediately, reflected by the ring above his head as its mirthful spinning slowed down to a crawl. Of course, that didn't last long as the ring began to spin even faster than before and more barking laughter left Rin-go as he left the two half ninja pieces behind him to feed the worms or whatever else wanted to eat wannabe goth. Still grinning to himself, teeth sharp enough to rival a shark's on full display, Rin-go glances around. Kanto had ordered him to go and distract himself whilst the fallen Shinjin did... something. Rin-go wasn't actually sure, nor did he care. It seemed like really droll, boring stuff, which his boss could keep to himself whilst the demon enjoyed the exquisite randomness that the mortal realm had to offer. Such as a forest full of ninjas! Who even came up with this crap?! It was amazing! Now, where was their little encampment. Village? He had seen a cartoon about ninja villages, although they weren't very sneaky in that one. This one in the real world... well, they were about as sneaky as the fake one was to Rin-go, but at least they tried you know? He wanted to see how long it would take for their leader to notice he was right behind him. It'd be a good test to see how strong those earthling considered above average for their kind were. Heh, who knows, perhaps Kanto may even have some use for the information. Well, if he asked Rin-go where he'd gone. Which wasn't amazingly likely, granted, as the Shinjin was often a little too wrapped up in his own delusions of grandeur to notice much outside of his immediate area. Humming to the tune of a song he'd watched on the teevee, he continued to make his way down the forest path he had picked at random. After all, if he kept moving in one direction he'd eventually either make it out or find something, right? Plus it wasn't like he needed to eat or anything like that, and Kanto would find him if he needed something extra urgent so right now Rin-Go had allllll the time in the world to relax and look for the ninja village. Well, either that or whatever else he spots that gets his attention first. Karon

Karon's PL: 40,000 Zhida's PL: 5,000
Not too far behind Rin-go traveled a pair of ogres, though they were oblivious to his presence for now. To call the path they walked a 'path' would be generous; it was simply the part of the dense forest least covered by grasses and underbrush. Zhida, the smaller, redder ogre, had asked Karon why they were here in the first place, and he'd replied it was the perfect place for a spooky ghost to hide out. The forest didn't seem particularly spooky to her, it actually seemed quite peaceful, but she had to admit it seemed like a good hiding place. If she didn't have the ability to simply fly straight up over the tree line, she could easily see herself getting lost in here. Their stroll through the forest was actually kind of pleasant...until the scent of wet iron hit her nose.
"What...?" Zhida began as she sniffed the air, but Karon was one step ahead of her, drawing his sword from within his jacket. "Blood." He replied curtly. The source was found soon enough: a human in dark clothing, split cleanly in two at the waist. Zhida covered her mouth with her hand as she gagged and turned away from the sight, but Karon investigated closer, nudging the body with the end of his sword. "This was recent." He told Zhida, "Be ready to fight." The younger ogre nodded and scrambled to unsheathe her tanto blades.
The pair of them made their way through the forest with considerably more caution now. Karon kept his energy-scanning sunglasses on and before too long, he picked up a signal. It was somewhat strong, more powerful than Zhida but not as much as him. As they got closer, they heard the owner of the power before they saw them. They were...humming. Karon quirked a brow and turned to Zhida with a finger to his lips. Quiet. Again she nodded, and hopped into the branches of a tree to watch from a distance as Karon progressed.
He was struck by the stranger's appearance as soon as he saw him, a large ring of thorns circling around his head. Hell had a long-standing connection to the Demon Realm, and as a native of Hell, Karon recognized a demon when he saw one. What was a demon doing in a place like this? Despite the fact he still had a sword in hand, Karon kept his posture casual, and called out in an equally relaxed tone, "Hey there, friend. Nice day for a walk, huh?"

Rin-go had felt them coming a little ways after he had cut that ninja in half. One seemed to be pretty strong, too! But what really caught his attention was the small power level that was barely perceptible beneath the power of the first one. It was... so tiny. So fragile. It made him want to break it, and watch it cry as it realises just how hopeless its situation truly was... But first! Ninjas! He would bother with the actually threatening stuff later, right now there were some spooky nerds running around with their arms behind their backs and he needed to give them a reality check. As in, check them out of this reality and into the next one, HELL! Looking around, rin-go tried to spy for any ninjas that may have escaped his sensing ability. He had only really picked up on that particular trick recently, when Kanto had ordered him to learn it so as to act as a scout, and the demon had to admit... it was pretty useful! It let him know when to fuck with someone, what moo his boss was in, when people were walking up behind you with a flared strength...
Spinning on his heels, Rin-go turns around towards where the big power signature had been coming from, being greeted by a... ah! One of those blue squares, it seemed. What were they called again...? Oh, right, Ogres. The little lapdogs of their tubby king. In a way, Rin-go could emphasise with that sort of restriction, from one servant to another. Then again... most Ogres were off hunting those escaped 'ghost' spirits, not hanging around in random forests like he hung around in random forests. "'Allo there." He grins in response to the Ogre's greeting, sharp teeth on full display while above him his halo rotated lazily. Rin-go wasn't too concerned, even if it looked like this Ogre certainly was. The sword kind of gave it away. Now, where was... ah. The little weakling. He didn't look towards where the other one was, not wanting to show his hand just yet, but his grin only widened. "Yeah, walks are nice and all. Really help you calm down and think, you know?" Rin-go nodded, the halo slipping from his head and into his gasp as he tosses it from side to side. "Think things like, 'I wonder why he has his sword drawn' or 'Would he really risk himself over this?' You know, the usual."

Karon tilted his head back to peer at the demon behind his dark glasses as the other man spoke. Thorny halo over there was trying to be intimidating. It might've worked too, if there wasn't a readout in the inside of his lenses that told him the demon was decidedly weaker than Karon himself. Still, he shouldn't get too cocky. There was no guarantee that this guy wouldn't transform into some hideous abomination of spikes and mouths, increasing his power level by several times and looking gross, to boot. Demons were weird like that.
He sighed through his nose as the demon began to toss his thorn-vine-ring around. This was going to be a lot of posturing, wasn't it? Karon hated posturing. He much preferred to get down to business without any dawdling around, at least when it came to fighting. But Karon didn't have any grounds for straight up attacking this guy now. Sure, it seemed pretty likely he'd sliced that ninja in half, but there wasn't any real proof of that yet. And more to the point, Karon didn't really care. People died all the time, what did it matter to him how or why? He was investigating out of curiosity, not moral obligation. His assistant up in the trees would disagree, if she was actually asked. To the young Zhida, killing living people was despicable, except in extreme situations. For now, she kept to her perch in the tree, thinking she was hidden from the demon, and waited for a moment to jump in.
Down on the ground, Karon spun his sword around in one hand, "Look," he began, "I don't even know what the 'this' I'm supposedly risking myself over is. I came across a man chopped in half a ways back, so of course I'd draw my weapon. I'd be pretty stupid not to." With a shrug he swapped his sword to his left hand, held in a backwards grip, and stuck out his right to shake, "Name's Karon. I'm out here looking for anything strange or unnatural. Besides yourself. No offense, of course," He flashed a grin without any real mirth to it, "But we're both a long way from home."

Rin-go's grin stayed affixed upon the demon's face as he stared towards the ogre, halo rotation beginning to slow down more and more as the blue skinned man began to talk. Eventually the spinning simply stopped, and as the ogre gave up speaking the demon's grin widened some more and the halo dropped down onto an arm, piercing the flesh there without so much as a sound of pain from Rin-go as he begins to happily spin and play with it. "Well in that case we ain't got a proooblem!" He says loudly, laughing as he continued to keep his hands busy. "Yeah, I cut the guy in half. Him and his little friends found me before I found them, somehow, and he was so boring. Every time I let him know I knew where he was, he'd just try again from a different place! It was pretty much the worst, you know?" Rin-go's grin then turns into something far more sinister, his brow furrowing as he truly embraces his demonic heritage. "But I'll find them soon enough." A dark chuckle leaves him... before he suddenly went back to normal. "Cool sword! A little straight forward for me, but hey, stabs good I bet." He gestures towards the weapon in the ogre's hand.
"Anyway, the name's Rin-go. That's uh, Rin hyphen Go. Well, it's not really my name but anyone with only one mouth can't say it." He moves as if he were about to hold a hand out, before noticing the distance between the two of them and instead wipes it across the black bodysuit he wore. "Yourself?" He wouldn't mention the little one juuuust yet, as it seemed they could be the fun he was desperately looking for if this Ogre decided he wanted to have a stick up his ass. Some people just weren't down with murder, apparently? Rin-go couldn't understand, but hey, mortals can be pretty weird.
