NAME: Darastras
ALIASES: N/A
SPECIES: Shinjin
AGE: 1,500 Years
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 6'0
STARTING PLANET: Gemini B, Brench
APPEARANCE:

(Change the color of the Potara to blue, red trim and waist band to gold, and you have a perfect image of Darastras.)
The medical like wrappings and such on his ripped clothes are from Virus attempts to medicate him and his injuries from his Shinjin brethren subduing him while he was within his comatose state. He chooses not to change it (He is able to magically clean them) as it serves as a reminder for why he is doing this, as well as an eternal sign of the transgression and what he believes as betrayal by his fellow Shinjin.
BACKGROUND:
As long as there is life, there is a chance for change.
A sentiment not all beings share.
------
Darastras was indeed a prodigious Kai in many aspects. Incredible intellect and wisdom for a Shinjin of his age, as well as incredible affinity for combat, made him quite the anomaly when it came to addressing the average man or woman from the Shinjin race. After heavy consideration of where his path laid in life, Darastras had decided that he would act as a more hands on Supreme Kai without officially taking the role- roaming the cosmos and observing as well as stepping in when necessary if he thought a situation was getting too out of hand. He wished to be a vanguard of peace and prosperity, someone of whom that would enlighten the ignorant and bring up the less fortunate.
At least, that was the plan until he started his journey. Even though he was stronger than most Shinjin, that wasn't saying much when compared to the rest of the cosmos currently- with many of the fighters (good and bad) beyond the stars able to bully the relatively younger Shinjin around as they pleased. From that, you can assume his initial journey through the universe was incredibly rough- and the impressionable Darastras was exposed to the worst the mortal realm could offer. Dictators, murderers, bandits, rapists, all of the lowlife scum of the stars seemingly came out to play when the Shinjin was attempting to spread the good word.
It left him with a seeded doubt within his mind after he called it quits a couple years into the venture. Were these people, these mortals really worth attempting to teach? If they choose not to learn, then why try at all to teach them? If left to their own devices, that would mean that they would soon come to cause their own self destruction, along with it possibly the rest of the universe if the destruction he's seen thus far by the mortals he's been witness to was anything to go off of. These mortals as such could not be allowed to live, and so began the corruption within Darastras' originally pure intent, starting with the decision to kill mortals he saw unfit to live within this plane of existence. Whether they were good in the eyes of others was unimportant.
In search of someone who shared his doubts, Darastras decided to go where no Shinjin dared to go- within the Demon realm. If you find yourself asking why, he found it strangely poetic- that he, with the help with a so-called hopeless case, would be able to cleanse the mortal realm of those he had deemed unfit. Or, perhaps it was a subconscious proof of his sanity and faith being slowly eaten away at, and really all he needed was some mindless beast to control to make the slaughter easier. He wasn't sure himself, and that both amused yet scared him.
As he searched the hell-blaze that was the demon realm, he found someone of interesting origin. A Demon-Saiyan hybrid named Viru, who had been cast out by both demons and Saiyans alike for his clashing blood. Demons not wanting to introduce such "impurity" (how ironic, Darastras thought) into their ranks, and Saiyans not usually being the caring and accepting bunch. Especially with the reputation carried being part demon. However, Darastras saw potential in him, and so he took him up as his protege, and eventually his partner. Viru initially didn't see at all the point of Darastras' goals, but eventually found himself enamored with them as well. Through magical or persuasive means, that is unsure.
Eventually, Darastras wished to pay a visit to home, after another section of time was spent traveling through space on the duos' journey to rid the universe of what mortal parasitic filth they found. However, the Shinjin did not find him a hero's welcome once back, and only found strife and argument once he had returned. One conflict led to another, with Darastras slowly beginning to hate the Shinjin and the Kais for their seemingly passive nature toward the mortal transgressions and the Shinjin confronting him only able to offer the counterargument that they were merely observers- unable to be nothing more than that, and that even his original intention of journeying in the name of peace was breaking that unspoken rule, and he was in the wrong from the start, and that allowing an impurity such as Viru to assist with his crimes only drove him deeper into the hole of which he had dug himself in.
Then, something simply, shattered in Darastras- and after a hate filled conquest through the lands of the Grand Kai with Viru at his side, causing several casualties, he was finally subdued by the stronger and more experienced of the combat-familiar Shinjin that inhabited the lands. He was then brutalized in "repentance of his sins", and afterward barred from entering the Grand World of the Kais for five hundred years. Darastras was then flung from the heavens and onto the surface of a random planet, one that in the time of his five hundred years of banishment and induced comatose from his injuries would come to be called Brench. Viru hid Darastras and himself on the planet for the five hundred years he was in his coma and for the length he was banished for, and now Darastras has been suddenly stirred back to a conscious state- his hatred for both mortal and Shinjin kind only greater than it was before he had been knocked down as a fallen angel.
His doubt only grew while he was in that sort of stasis, could mortals change, were the Shinjin truly that ignorant of their failures and shortcomings, and would he be able to amass the strength and resources to carry out his final plans?
He would find out only in time.
PERSONALITY:
Even with him heading down a darkened path with bloodied and sinister actions being taken and his bitter hatred the catalyst for him potentially to be the thing to propel him even further on it, Darastras is shown generally to be a calm, methodical, patient, and intelligent being. He is not without flaws though, as Darastras is also prone to an arrogant and condescending stature when addressing those of whom that he believes to be below him or unfit to roam the cosmos freely. Within combat he is constantly calculating his next move and attempting to perceive his opponent's oncoming attack, allowing for him to seamlessly counter with a fluidity only a fighting prodigy of the Kais could achieve after years upon years of focused and efficient training. He is a pure hearted man (though his actions may say otherwise in the point of view of the general public) through and through, with an incredibly strong sense of duty. Darastras whole-heartedly believes every action of his to be justified, that all ends justify the means and so he is unable to see whatever evil may come of his actions. He cares very much about the cosmos and its growth, and so is willing to sacrifice even life itself to ensure its success. Outside of combat and his crusade to rid the cosmos of all he deems unfit, Darastras has a soft spot for relatively normal things- such as reading, nature, and some nice company. Company usually being his only friend Viru. However, unlike what most would believe, Darastras is able to work alongside those who he deems below him, albeit quite begrudgingly. If you happen to be a Shinjin or a lower mortal that manages to be what he considers ample company, then you are both lucky and blessed to be spared from his genocidal wrath.
TECHNIQUES:
OFFENSIVE/DEFENSIVE TECHNIQUES:
Flames of Absolution (A1): Darastras gently lifts his hand (left or right, means no difference) upward, in a loose manner- as if to begin conducting a symphony. Only for his entire arm to then straighten up and tense, palm faced toward the opponent as a wild line of purple and blackish flame-like Ki beams begin to fire off at the opponent.
Sinners Restraint (A1): Under the guise of Darastras proclaiming that the opponents sinful deeds are now debilitating them in battle, the weight of such wrongdoings quite literally bringing them to their knees, it is really just Darastras himself using his magical adeptness to twist and bend the laws of physics around them, able to manipulate gravity whichever way he wishes- such as what direction and how intense the force is.
SUPPORT TECHNIQUES:
Divine Diversion (SU1): Darastras' figure is encompassed in a divine and holy light as an opponent attempts to make an offensive move, and through this light Darastras is able to evade techniques beneath 100% of his PL. This technique uses 1 KP in KP Battles.
Holy Nova (SIG): His past of being originally a preacher of peace and tranquility does offer some perks- as from his training in order to prepare for such a lifestyle has led Darastras to having the knowledge behind that of healing magic. Raising his palm and pointing it toward the intended recipient, Darastras spends one KP in order to heal the target of 100% of their damage taken in battle.
UTILITY TECHNIQUES:
Energy Sensing [UT]: Via some method you are capable of feeling the natural energy of living beings, you have an understanding of the power level of other non-android warriors and can feel the power of the attacks they are using compared to your own. This technique is Passive not requiring activation and uses 0 KP in a KP Battle, Energy Sensing does not work on Androids.
