Thread PL: 179,935
Where has Yogu been for the last two or three months? Even he didn't really know. It just felt like a blur. A really boring, empty blur. He didn't really know what it was about being dead, but everything just felt hollow. He'd gotten pretty used to the whole ghost thing by now, and when he got used to it, it also stopped being cool. It was just really sad now. He couldn't remember where he had left the Dragon Ball, and to be honest, he didn't really care. He wasn't compelled to get his body back, or even go see if Chime and Nashi and everyone else on the lookout were getting the Dragon Balls. He wasn't sure what had happened, but something clicked in him eventually that just made the ghost boy quite passive to everything around him. The fire in Yogu had gone out.
Right now, Yogu was somewhere towards the peak of Mt. Frappe. He wasn't sure what had compelled him to gravitate towards the mountain, but he was here now he supposed. Everything had stopped being fun for Yogu. He didn't get a kick out of scaring the climbers attempting to reach the top. He didn't enjoy... Well now that he thought about it, there wasn't much else to do on Mt. Frappe as a ghost other than scare climbers. "Man this suuuuuucks..." Yogu shouted out into the howling winds of the mountain. His voice echoed out and was carried by the intense snow that endlessly blanketed the mountain. "At least I don't gotta go get bundled up or somethin'... Hey! Maybe bein a ghost ain't so bad! Heh... Heh..." Yogu was kidding himself. He knew the truth. Being a ghost was terrible. Whatever happened that made him act like this, it was all because of him being a ghost!
"Right? Of course that's what it is! It's all this whole damn ghost thingys fault! I really should go back out there and go back to huntin' the DBs with Nashi and everyone else! Then I can go back to being alive!" Yogu said that, but he wouldn't move. He had become the ghost of Mt. Frappe.

Yanwang was back at Mt.Frappe and hard at working training his body. Yanwang had not wanted to get stronger for a while but now he felt motivated. With how the world was trending Yanwnag knew he'd need to get even stronger. If he didn't he'd fall behind and the earth could be in danger. Being the strongest around was hard work but to protect the Earth from any threat that would befall it. Yanwang's eyes wandered around looking for something to start his training he was thinking maybe a boulder or a large amount of ice. Yanwang stopped though when he felt a bit odd. Something was around here he could smell it. "Ah hah stinky." He'd cover his nose. It must have been a ghost in the area. While Yanwang was not some ghost hunter maybe it could be a good work out. Yanwang began to walk around his eyes keeping an eye for any ghost. "Hello, I know a ghost is out there. I can smell it in the air. I sadly got to deal with you since ghost does bad things so come out without causing trouble and I won't have to beat you up too bad." That would totally bring the ghost out, right?

Yogu continued to lay there in the snow, wallowing in self-pity and whatnot. At some point in the day that had yet again passed by like a blur, Yogu was stirred out of his haze by a faint voice pushing back against the winds and snow. " Eh? Guess someone else is climbin' the mountain again..." The voice was like white noise at first but became clearer after a little bit. The first thing Yogu heard was something he mistook for the words, 'Uh oh stinky' " No way! What would a monkey be doing on the mountain?!" Yogu had to find out who that voice belonged to! What if some monkey was stuck on the mountain going 'Uh oh stinky'?! " Maybe I can scare the thing off! Yeah! That should send that monkey packing back down the mountain!" Yogu was finally roused from his decided resting place on the mountain; the ghost found a spot on the trail he guessed the voice would be heading. His guess turned out to be right because the voice got closer and closer. Only this time, the voice was a lot more clear than it was before. This wasn't some uh oh stinky monkey! It was some guy who was hunting for ghosts! " Ya know; in retrospect that makes a whole lot more sense than a talking monkey saying uh oh stinky." Yogu was a little disappointed if he was being honest. " Well... Guess I'm here now... Might as well scare the guy off." Yogu got close enough so that he could see the silhouette of the ghost hunter. His shape looked strangely familiar... But he just couldn't put his finger on it. It didn't matter much now. The wind starts to pick up, and the snow begins to fall harder and harder. The ghostgu's groaning and general spooky sounds start echoing down the mountain at his unwanted visitor. " OOOOOOH! LEAVE HERE NOW MORTALLLLL! Or else I'll damn you straight to HFIL! OOOOOH! I'll possess youuuuu! And do other spooky things that I can't think of right nowwwwww!" Yogu felt satisfied with his work. Whoever that ghost hunter was is definitely running away in fear now!

The Ghost of Mt. Frappe Garon's PL: 304,120 | (x4) Hydrogan: ON Ace's PL: 5,000 "Dammit! Not a single reading?!" It was to be expected, at this point. After one successful find, Ace's Dragon Ball radar seemed to be nearly useless. They performed run after run, test after test, with no good results to come with them. At this rate, finding the Dragon Balls and completing the project was looking like it was going to take actual years. "It is to be expected. Like I said before, finding the signatures for these things is much easier said than done. We will perform as many tests as necessary." Ace continued typing on one of his holo-screens, adjusting the hood of his slightly oversized parka jacket. "...unless of course, you would like to quit?" Garon hesitated. "...we're already like, a seventh of the way there. Once we fix the radar, shit'll get a whole lot easier. That, and well... after what happened, we can't really stop now, can we?" "Although this project is interesting, I won't stop you from stopping." Ace held up the Five-Star Dragon Ball in his hand, inspecting its orange gloss. "I'm sure you could get rid of this Dragon Ball for a hefty sun of Zeni." "Zeni? Wh- no! Nononono! I ain't doing this for fuckin' cash, I'm doing it because it's the right thing to do! We just... we've just gotta stop overthinking things and keep moving forward, and stuff. Overthinking is what caused this whole damn problem in the first place." Garon sighed. This was, by far, one of the hardest things he's ever done before. But, at least it was all for a good cause. And when all is said and done, he'll be the hero this time around. Finally- a chance to do something right! Something good! Something that'll have an actual change instead of just wallowing in the same stupid, pointless cycles over and over again! He'd been waiting for such an opportunity for so long, and soon, he'd have the chance to seize it. But, that was for later. In order for this plan to work, there were things that needed to be done. "...watch out. Two power levels to our east. Are you picking them up?", Ace asked. A quick couple of beeps and boops came from Garon's helmet. "Yeah, they're strong. Stay here, I'll check it out." With a blur, Garon launched himself through the thick snow and headed towards the two mystery power levels. It didn't take long before he landed with a resounding BOOM, right next to the two. He didn't hear what the two were saying right before he landed, but he didn't really care either. The real source of confusion stood right in front of him. "...Yogu?"People weren't supposed to be transparent. Om-Yogu Yanwang

Yanwang walked around the mountain and then he heard a spooky voice. Whoever this ghost was they really didn't know how to scare an ogre nor someone as strong as him. "You won't keep me away ghost!" Yanwang declared as he keeps following the scent of the ghost. "You also are not gonna be able to take over my body as a ghost. Because I am an ogre and we got protections from all that evils magics." Yanwang would skip forward to the ghost and would soon arrive in the area. But when he got there, two people were there. One of them was someone in a suit of armor. He had no idea who that was but the other he knew well. Yanwang looked over at the ghost his eyes widening in shock.
"Yogu?"
Yanwang felt his eyes swell. This could not be? Yogu was a ghost? Why was Yogu dead? He had not seen Yogu in a while but why he had not known this. Why had Yogu not gone to find him, why has he just disspeared and now when he came back as a ghost. This was not right at all. Yanwang felt tears go down his face as he tried to figure out what to say to Yogu. Was he suppose to take him back to the otherworld. Yogu was his friend, he didn't want to do that. Yet, he was unsure how else to help Yogu. Yogu could not just be allowed to run around and he was unsure how to help him. Wait they could get the dragonballs. Yanwang smiled a bit at the thought but he did have one question to ask Yogu. "I not seen you in a while Yogu. I want to know who killed you." Cause whoever that was. He was going to need to kill them.

Man, this kid wasn't too bright. I mean, he was a literal GHOST! An ethereal spirit thingy! How was this little kid not scared to near death- " Oh shit. He's an ogre! Don't these guys hunt down ghosts for fun?!" When Yogu thought about it for a minute, he really didn't know what had caused him to leave the otherworld. So he couldn't be convicted of ghost crimes, right? That's how it worked he was pretty sure. Either way, he was probably in for a fight. " Might as well go for the pre-emptive attack. If he's not expecting it I might have a chance to take him out before he gets a chance to even attack!" Yogu was about to do just that, but he was stopped by an eardrum-shattering boom sounding out from above. " The hell was that?" It took a second, but when the source of that sound came into view, he knew exactly who it was. " Oh! Hey there Garon! Been a while, huh? Haha! Man, last time we saw each other must've been on Vegeta right? Man, good times. We should fight again soon!" Oh. Yogu had forgotten about the Ogre! " Oh, sorry gimme a second I gotta handle this guy- YANWANG?!" He hadn't seen that kid in so long! When was the last time they saw each other? " It must've been during that tournament that one guy threw in the desert... What was that guy's name?" Yogu couldn't remember but it was where Monster first showed up. Now that he thought about it he hadn't really seen most of his friends since all of that stupid demon business started. " Hey there kid, it's been a while huh? Sorry about not ever comin' to hang out with you or anything." Yogu turned back to Garon, " Oh yeah, and when was the last time we hung out? I really wanna see if you made any upgrades to that tin can of yours!" Yogu was getting ahead of himself a bit. " O-Oh yeah, welcome to my home by the way! Make yourself comfortable! You guys can make some snow chairs if you want. Do you guys want a cup of ice or anything?" Yanwang didn't seem to be in the mood for sitting around and cracking jokes. He seemed rather put off by the fact that Yogu was... Well, dead. And Garon seemed to be acting a little strange too. The ogre cut right to it and asked who had killed him. " Boy, we're just gonna jump right into that huh? Well... That's a kinda complicated question. Sorta. Kinda. So it was like, I kinda killed me?- No, that sounds wrong like that. It was sorta like a joint effort between me and that Vocado guy? Yeah, that works. Vocado and I teamed up to kill me." Yep. That definitely made sense and didn't need to be explained any further. " So I've been up on this mountain for... A loooooong time." Yogu turned around and started floating back up the mountain to go back to where he was floating around before, assuming the small group of tourists he'd gotten was following, he'd ask a few questions. " So, anything big happen recently? I know about the Dragon Balls and all of that, but I don't exactly get TV up here so I can't follow everything.- OH YEAH! Yanwang, how's Nashi been? I haven't talked to him at all since I've retired to this mountain. You guys keep in touch, right?" Yogu finally comes to where he was floating earlier, which looked no different to the rest of the mountain. " Oh yeah, did you guys still want that cup of ice orrrrr...?"
OOC: Yogu is now a grumpy retired old ghost.

He's dead. "You're... dead. Again."Like the flip of a switch, almost everything dissolved into radio silence as soon as Garon realized this. He didn't bother responding to Yogu's request, and when the time came, he merely followed Yogu (and presumably Yanwang) up the mountain. "Dying. You can die. Twice. Like, again.", was all that was running through the Doragon's head at that moment. It'd be a lie to say that Garon hadn't considered this before, but rather he pushed the possibility deep into the depths of his mind and never once thought of it again. He thought it wasn't possible to be so unlucky, so inconceivably tragic that someone could die again after dying a first time. But of course, refusing to acknowledge something doesn't mean that it suddenly disappears. It happened to Yogu. It could happen to Cobane or Nashi. It could happen to him. Isn't it all so messed up? That in a world where almost anyone with a book and some training weights can learn to fly and shoot lasers, and people master the magic arts and bend reality to their will, people still allow for things like this to happen? Not only are they incapable of stopping people from dying once- no- apparently, they're such fuck-ups that they can let people die twice and no one'll bat an eye! Who wants to live in a world like that? Probably not Yogu. Probably not that girl Belle. And definitely not Garon. He wouldn't stand for it. After a while, Garon slowly began to tune back into whatever was happening. "...right. The Dragon Balls.", Garon said, not realizing how quick his breathing had gotten during his little internal mental breakdown. "I'm hunting them right now, actually. Don't really got much help, but... we're already like, a seventh of the way there. That's a start, right?"

Yanwang sniffed. Yogu was trying to say sorry about not seeing him. He didn't care about that, it didn't matter that he could not come. If he was dead and a ghost, of course, he'd not want to see him. He must know that as a ghost Yanwang was supposed to send him back to the otherworld. Then when he asked who killed him he revealed it was someone called Vocado...and himself. "Huh?" Yanwang tilted his head confused. Why would Yogu want to kill himself? That seemed to be really stupid. "Ok, you're making no sense why would you want to kill yourself. Listen Yogu If you wanted to die then why come back. You're clearly being dumb. It was that Vocado guy prob you just don't want me to go fight him. Well, let me tell you I have become really strong I bet I could beat you and Nashi with ease." Yanwang pointed at himself with confidence.
Then he began to ask questions about what had been going in the world. Yanwang shrugged. "Someone called Nashua help take over Arosce with the saiyan kingdom or whatever. I went to beat her up but our fight really didn't go how I wanted. So I am sad about that but other then that nothing crazy I think. I don't really keep up with the news anyway." Yanwang picked at his head. Then Garon noted he was hunting the Dragonball. "Seems a bit crazy to get them. A lot of strong people are after them plus what would you wish for anyway. You seem to have everything you'd need." I mean he could have anything he wanted well almost anything. Yanwang could get him what he could need with his Fujin Bag. Then Yogu asked about Nashi. Yanwang shrugged. "I've not talked to him in a bit. I have been busy training so when a threat comes to Earth I can deck them. Pretty sure he is doing good and no ice." He'd use his Fujin Bag and pulled out a Soda and began to drink.

Garon seemed deep in thought about the whole Yogu being dead thing. That was to be expected. After all, one of his BEST FRIENDS was a ghost now. Or rather, he was probably just being faced with the fact that they were still mere mortals despite the fact they'd cheated death once before. Yogu supposed that he had felt as if he was immortal for a time after he was revived. Oh, how wrong he was. Yanwang seemed confused by Yogu's story about him and Vocado teaming up to kill himself. " Eh, guess I do need to explain more, huh?" But Yanwang kept going. Yogu knew he needed to explain himself but the kid was making the ghost mad. Had he ever been really mad at Yanwang before? He supposed when they first met he had been. But he was too confident in his abilities. Just sensing him he knew the Ogre had no chance against Vocado. The kids' arrogance made Yogu snap, " JUST SHUT UP YANWANG! I'll let you know right now you wouldn't have a CHANCE at beating Vocado! He'd turn you into a fine paste in the dirt! And... The way I died and the reasons behind it are kinda complicated, kid. I can tell you about it another time, kay?" Yogu paused for a moment, he felt a tinge of guilt for yelling at the kid. " And uh... Sorry for yellin'." Yanwang updated Yogu on some universal politics. How riveting. Sarcasm aside, it actually was an interesting development. " Wow. The Saiyan Kingdom is conquering the conquerors now? There's a whole lot of irony there. But I guess that's still wrong for them to be conquering someone else's planet? I guess you should leave them alone and let them decide what kind of government they want to lead instead of forcing them into a Monarchy. But then again if they became another federation of space pirates that could be a problem. Or if they become a dictator regime because of the power vacuum created by the thrashing of the WTF's forces. Then again isn't the Monarchy they have on Arcose now pretty much just a dictator regime? Eh, politics are hard." Yogu surprised himself there with his knowledge of the word Monarchy and Dictator. He hadn't paid much attention during the world history class. Now Garon was on the Dragon Balls. The guy already had one! In fact, he had actively been hunting for them! " Woah, really?! THAT'S AWESOME! This is sweet! Now if you, Nashi, Chime, and I all team up and gather them we could wish me back to life! Or maybe wish anyone that's died for the Dragon Ball hunt, cause I bet someone got violent at some point, knowing how the last hunt went on Namek. Either way, that's great news! We can all share the wish!" Then Yogu came up with an even better idea, Yanwang could help them too! Yogu turned to the ogre. " Hey kid, you wanna help out with the Dragon Ball hunt too?" It was a shame that Yanwang hadn't kept up with Nashi. He wanted to make sure his pal was doing alright. Yogu had this weird feeling gnawing at the back of his mind that everything wasn't going alright.
