"WOOOO HOOOO!" Golgari screamed, his voice hoarse and being ripped from him by the rushing air. Below him his bike roared in response to its owner's jubilation as he revved it even further and the rust bucket, modified, cobbled together love of his LIFE sand speeder sped up even further as they cleared the dune and soared through the air and kept going, jets pushing them even further. Holding up his hands in jubilation, Golgari closes his eyes and leans back into the sky as his body lifts from the seat and the bike speeds past him for a moment before its engines stop due to the altitude and both he and it began to fall. The wind screamed and tore through Golgari's ears as they fell towards the rapidly approaching expanse of sand and orange before his wings flared to the side and the modified Lunarian began to slow down. Glancing up towards the sky, his green and black eyes spotted his bike and he angled himself to intercept. As the heavy chunk of metal gained speed, Golgari found himself on a collision course with it as he flew through the sky, enjoying every second of the potential danger and the risks.
Mere seconds before the two were set to collide, the green and black of Golgari's wings flared once more and he halted in place even as a pair of arms burst from his chest, notably greener than his usual pair, and together the two sets of arms race toward and grab a hold of the bike. For a moment everything was still... but then physics kicked in and Golgari screamed in jubilation as the bike plummeted and he was drawn with it. Multiple cracking and crunching sounds echoed out through the air, before being ripped away, as his arms quickly began to shorten and dragged Golgari closer to the bike even as the ground grew ever closer. Inch by inch he got closer, even as they fell metres a second, the ground growing close enough that Golgari couldn't help but broadcast his own thoughts in a 'Oh wow this might actually hurt'. Yet it was at that moment that he found himself seated again upon it and, with a rev, the engines burst into life. The bike roared back to life and the engines open to full capacity as the metres between it and the ground closed. 60, 40, 12... And just before they were going to slam into the ground again, the Lunarian and his bike rocketed forward as the anti-grav kicked in and once again he was off.
A few minutes later had the bike parked and Golgari leaning against it, a sandwich he had made in his hand as he gazed out through the endless expanse of the Konatsian desert. Such a place would usually fill a traveller with nothing but hopelessness, but for the Lunarian it was nothing short of a blessing. Nobody around for miles, no one to tell him what to do or where to go, just miles upon miles of freedom to do whatever the hell he wanted. It was beautiful enough to bring a tear to his eye, and he doubled down upon his sandwich whilst he thought. People had told him that he'd grow bored, or need to find something else to do eventually, but... he doubted it. Just having the sky above him and a place to go was good enough for him! And the place to go...? Wherever the hell he felt like! A smile touches upon his face as he glances towards his bike to grab another snack.
