Diablo Desert was very sandy. In fact, one could safely say it was mostly made of sand and not much else, which is to be expected from a desert. Prione did not metaphorical drag himself and Chard here for just sand sight-seeing however, they had a destination in mind. Words had been spoke of the 'Great Fissure', a place in which a martial artist tower was destroyed, the ground ravaged into a fissure by the hand of a dark overlord. Chard didn't know how much of it was actually true... and neither did Prione. The visit was mostly out of curiosity bordering on interest. Perhaps we could find something useful there. Whatever that may be, I'm game. The superstitious fools keep away from this place out of fear of dark 'magic'. Well, he didn't know much, but Chard presumed that there was at least a grain of truth in the myths spoken.
More out of a precaution for safety than anything else, the duo decided to go in as a Great Ape - the added power a much needed source of relief as they felt just a tad bit safer in the primal form. To be blunt, most powerful warriors would still have no problem easily taking care of someone at Chard's Power Level, but it was far better than just nothing at all. Upon arriving, they were able to discern that the destruction (at least) wasn't exaggerated. The earth here had been torn apart, rent asunder by some sort of massive force. Cracks and craters snaked throughout the whole area, leading to the center hole which led far, far below. The tower that once rested here was real, as far as Prione could tell, and the fact that it wasn't here now lent some creed to the rumors after all.
"I don't sense anything in the immediate vicinity..." Chard grumbled, sweeping the area with his flat red eyes. Of course, his range of being able to detect Power Levels was greatly shortened when in his bestial form due to his still unmastered state of it.

Kuma had spent enough time in desert biomes to know when you saw one you tended to know what to expect from a different one; sand. The desert she flew over was no different, filled with sand and not much else aside from a few stray animals, a bandit trying poorly to hide, and the site of a fight that look as if something was blown up with force. The sand, not so interesting, animals and bandits she didn't care about, but the giant fissure she was sure enough interested in at least hovering over and investigating further. She hadn't heard anything about what had happened here so as far as she could tell something went boom and it likely wasn't done in anything resembling a kind way. Giant fissure's in the middle of deserts rarely appeared from friendly banter and conversation, so something she had to find out about had taken place here.
It seemed she wasn't the only one with an interest for the location, but it was strange to see what looked like a...Saiyan? They looked to be in Oozaru forms approaching, causing her to instantly fly higher out of sight, but they sported completely white hair. Her first thought was this must have been someone older, but in general something looked off about them. There was nothing surprising about them in the slightest aside from again the fact they walked up in this form in the first place with white hair, but it was at least a little suspicious they were here given the destruction. Perhaps given the way they walked around so casually they were the one who had done this as Saiyans rarely went walking around so obviously in this form outside of battle, but it did look like the area was far from fresh after a battle. Slowly and cautiously she flew lower before being low enough to be spotted if they simply looked at eye level, but she kept quiet and watched, still a bit away from them just in case.

In so far, this place just seemed to be mostly sand and broken sandstone. The weird pulsating cracks running from under the ground was... odd but didn't seem all that harmful. His energy sensing didn't pick up any residue or lingering danger from the area, and even though it was super weird and creepy that didn't mean it was going to end up doing anything bad. "Maybe these humans just get spooked easy..." The beast grumbled lowly, looking around into the many, many crevices. It certainly seemed that way, and once the initial novelty of the landscape wore off there didn't seem to be much to do here. "Alright, that's enough." The words might mean nothing to an observer, but a moment later they could see the sudden shrinkage of Chard's body as his transformation ended.
Down he went, from a near fifty-foot behemoth to a more reasonable yet still massive eight-foot Saiyan instead, hair returning back to a black state as the last dregs of the Great Ape left his body. Though, as soon as he was re-adjusted to his normal body, his scope of sensing expanded once more. A new Power Level had been caught in the web, Chard looking up in an alarmed manner as he realized someone with a very high amount of power had gotten so close without him noticing. Spotting the distant shape of a person in-flight, he had a quick decision to make. Friend or foe, we must decide. Prione chimed in helpfully.
He didn't want to pick a fight with anyone, but for someone to draw so near without letting themselves be known was the reddest of flags he could picture in this very instance! Perhaps they were keeping their distance because of the whole 'giant white monkey' thing. I wouldn't blame them if that's the case... though I do wonder what they are doing all the way out here. Whatever it it was, he wished to know as soon as possible. He had been attacked in a remote location like this once before and would not make the same mistake when dealing with whoever this was!

The way whoever this was looked around didn't seem like anyone that had done this damage themselves, seeming more like they were investigating it themselves than returning to the scene of a fight. It was still curious the way they walked around as they did, and more curious still their appearance, but again she had seen older Oozaru, and they did sport more grey and white fur in most cases. Stranger still the more she watched she realized that it was talking to itself? She started looking around trying to find someone else that might have been around, even narrowing her eyes trying to see someone sitting on its shoulder perhaps but couldn't see anyone, and a lack of energy sensing abilities meant if there was someone else she couldn't find them otherwise.
Just like that the Oozaru began to revert, and the odd scene in front of her kept unfolding more strangely by the moment. They seemed to show up almost expecting trouble, talking to themselves, and then suddenly decided they were safe enough to revert to their normal form, but clearly they hadn't spotted her yet. Seeing the more Saiyan form showing itself, she could see the black hair and what appeared to be a younger form, meaning they weren't all that old after, so why the strange coloration of fur. Perhaps they couldn't sense her for some reason in their other form as it seemed they noticed her instantly after, looking directly at her, and even from her distance she could see the look on their face that caused her to chuckle. There was no point trying to hide now, so to the ground she began to descend, floating right towards them and landing gently a good twenty feet away. Kuma stood quiet for a long awkward moment as wind blew the sand around them, finally raising her hand in a wave. "Hey."

"Hello." Came Chard's quick response, followed by a long pause as he attempted to think of what to do next. Damnit... Raising an eyebrow, it spoke a silent question to his partner. Look. She has a tail, and black hair. Probably means she is a Saiyan. Ah, so it would seem. And she had seen him in his Oozaru form, no doubt. Probably curious about his unusual pigment. This isn't good. The voice muttered, attempting to come up with a plan. Look, if she asks, we're a hybrid. That's why our fur is white. No other reason, got it? Chard's lips curled down slightly, not liking the suggestion to lie, but he didn't really have a different choice in this sort of situation. Revealing himself could have very dangerous consequences.
Finally daring to break the silence, he took a hesitant few steps forward, stopping about fifteen feet away. "What brings you out here? I didn't see a single living soul yet here you are." At one of the most inconvenient times as well. If this girl had been earlier or later, there wouldn't be an issue with her possibly having discovered his secret and running off to report it to Kami knows who. Make it cordial, I suppose. If there's a chance we can convince her to just pass us by, all the better. That made sense enough. "I am Chard." He continued, crossing her arms over his chest. "What is your name, if you have one that you'd be willing to share with me?"
