NASHUA'S PL: 3,400,000/2,600,000 |
ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: Ultra Super Saiyan (x17/x13T) |
Against the odds, Aurora was somehow still standing after Nashua's massive ki blast, and had even managed to handle Typha's devastating sword blow. And she also kept on talking, continuing with her... Interesting take on things. Nashua was mostly just left puzzled by Aurora at this point. The Arcosian spoke like Nashua had been a cruel dictator for years on end, when, really, she'd been Queen for about three months, and aside from a few changes - like the eradication of any remnants of the World Trade Fleet - she was pretty sure she hadn't changed much about the planet. "I just don't know where you're getting all this information from, Aurora," Nashua said with a sigh and a shake of her head. At this point, she only felt saddened by the lens through which Aurora seemed unable to stop viewing the world through.
"You keep saying all these things, but... They simply aren't the case," Nashua stated, trying to keep her tone calm and understanding. She knew it was a long shot, but there was still the chance she could get Aurora to calm down and realize there was no need for all of this. "There's no oppression I'm putting your people under - the only laws I've even altered since I became Queen had to do with the removal of the Fleet from the planet's core governments. The only attack this system has suffered from since I became Queen was from you, and I've never laid a finger on someone for speaking out against me. You nearly murdered a thousand odd people, that is why I took action against you, don't mistake it for something it wasn't. You could have been praising me across the galaxy and I'd still have considered you a threat for what you did." Still, Aurora seemed to have, well, 'learned her lesson' to some extent. Nashua let out a breath of air, and for the first time since she'd arrived on the scene, her power level dropped back down, and her golden hair turned dark brown, while her eyes took on the color her hair had just been.
"When I offered to have you work with me," Nashua continued, "I didn't mean as some kind of servant, or to demean you. You clearly want to make a difference for your people, and I want to make that same kind of difference. You have my word that I shall be as fair and kind to them as I would my own children. But all I can give you right now is my word. If you don't believe me, then you'll just have to see whether or not I really do live up to your expectations. And that offer still stands. Think about it." Nashua bowed her head towards Aurora, then turned towards Typha. "I'm going, now. I don't think she's a threat, but if you still want to kill her, then so be it. But it'll be on your own merit, not mine. I'll see you later." And with that, Nashua started to make her way back down the mountain, and towards the base she'd called in earlier - if she kept them waiting much longer, they'd start to worry.

Aurora really seemed to have a high opinion of herself. That she of killed all those people before he could have killed her. Typha admitted it aggravated him just a bit. She continued to just hate Nashua and not see that Nashua was trying to work with her. She was blinded by hate, it made Typha sick. Not because she was blind but because that was how he use to be. He remembered when he meets Carro and saw Leo. It made him sick just to look at Leo but Leo had done nothing to him. Aurora had diluted herself to not listen to Nashua at all. He could understand it but he could not accept it. She really had twisted herself into thinking that she was fighting some vicious empress who had done so many horrible things. Typha was quite sure she was going to die and he was starting to become ok with that.
Yet, when his attack landed it didn't kill Aurora. In fact, she survived both attacks from the two of them. She had used everything she could muster but she was alive. Typha was a bit impressed with her durability but that didn't matter. She was still going to die. She keeps talking but Typha had stopped listening to a while ago. The words went through one ear and out the other. When she mentioned if someone conquered his world what would he do Typha stared at Aurora. "You're talking a dangerous game. I would not go and threaten to kill my own people to bring my planet back under rightful hands. You discarded your morals for the sake of good! I would never do such a thing, once we discarded our morals we are nothing! Once we say anything is allowed to reach our goals then we are making any action we commit justified." She was really pissing him off.
Aurora then asked him what she could do to free her people. She even had the gall to assume he was loyal to Nashua. Typha frowned his good eye narrowing. His robotic eye spun fixing itself upon Aurora. His aura fanned out around him as he pulled his sword back. "First off I am not loyal to Nashua. Words like that will get you killed. Second I am neither noble or heroic. Third, If I was those things and you wanted to free your people you would not of used threats to kill those uninvolved in your vendetta. Do you want to free your people from Nashua? Then don't use force to do it. Because no matter how strong you are, I am quite sure she will just grow to surpass that. If you want to free people you must free the heart of the rulers. Force is not the only way to bring freedom. You just think it is. Anyway, no more room for discussion." Typha flashed the sword to his face.
Typha got ready to end Aurora's life after all, that was what he had to do but Nashua spoke. Nashua laid into Aurora though Typha was pretty sure Aurora would refuse to listen. She had some mindset to just ignore any words that came out of Nashua mouth that was not. "I am sorry that I existed." at least that how he felt listening to Aurora. Nashua had decided that Aurora was no longer a threat. She even let her offer still stand. Typha stared at Aurora as Nashua began to leave making a note that if he killed Aurora was it on his hands now. Typha's grip on his sword tightened as he brought the blade around. "I'll do what I have to do." Typha swung his sword out Ki surrounding the blade.
The blade stopped pointing at Aurora's throat. He was close to doing it but it was not right. Nashua thought she was no longer a threat so maybe that was the case. If she tried something like this again then they could stop her. Plus no one was dead and Aurora had said some good things. Even if most of it was drowned out by her arrogant claim that she was the heroic one here. "I am not opposed to murder if its the best action. But your maybe a good person with just a lot of flaws. Next time you want to change something consider how your actions affect other people. Leave this place. I don't trust you not to cause trouble after I leave. If you're still on this planet in twenty fours then I am going to assume your here to conquer the planet still. I hope we don't meet in these sorts of circumstances again." Typha sat down on a rock and waited for Aurora to get going.

Aurora was... admittedly surprised to still be living. She had expected the last few seconds to be... well, her last. She listened to Nashua speak, shaking her head silently. They didn't get it. But the pain coursing through her... well, it was enough to convince Aurora that it wasn't the best idea to keep pushing forward. In a way... she had managed to pierce through the wall they kept around themselves, and she was going to take whatever small victories she could. That being said... she couldn't help just one more parting comment as the Saiyan began to leave. "And yet if the people told you they wanted you gone..." She manages to breathe out as Nashua turned away. "You wouldn't leave. And they... wouldn't be able to stop you. At the end of the day... that's really all that matters." She watched as the Saiyan kept on walking, before turning away from her. Aurora herself would try to leave at that point, but... well, the way her body was it didn't seem like she would be going very far. Her body shook and trembled, supported only by sheer stubbornness and force of will. She wanted to pursue, but... she couldn't. Not right now.
Typha continued to yammer in her ear, but Aurora was only half paying attention to him. Not out of dismissal, simply due to the fact that the pounding of blood in her ears and the pain in her body was drowning out almost everything else. Her good wing moved, red crystals stabbing into the earth as her body sags somewhat, holding herself up. "Not loyal to he... eh? And yet you'll... kill when she wants to, and stop when she decides to stop." She chuckles to herself, trying to focus upon the swordsman's words. "And really? Uninvolved? They were soldiers for the... Kingdom. Literally the... enemy for t-thousands of years, and despite what Nashua says... or believes... they were here on Brench for a reason, and there is no such... thing as... weapons of peace." She was fading fast, her voice was weak, and would need to return to her ship. It had the proper medicines she could use. Turning slightly, her gems scraping through the hard earth, she looks up towards the ship. At a command, it began to descend down towards the two, bee lining to land just off to the side of them. Its engings roared for a moment, stabilising it, and Aurora realised just how badly she was injured when all she could hear was herself despite that.
"And you're wrong." She comments, shuffling her way over towards the ship as a ramp extends. "Force, or... rather strength, is needed to build a nation. I... knew that before I even came here. Without that... well, no one would agree or... or follow out of fear of those stronger. I know you think otherwise, that you would listen to those around you, but think on this..." She groans in pain, taking the first inclined step onto the ramp. "Why do they come to specifically you, if not because you're strong?" Another step, and only more pain. But she kept moving. "I guess I agree with you about... the morals thing... It's just... I suppose we have different standards." She reached the top of the ramp, and moved to press the button to close the door behind her.

Typha stared at Aurora as she wasted her breath at Nashua left the battlefield. Typha looked at Aurora as she keeps on blabbering about him being a servant of Nashua. "I stopped because I didn't want to kill her. She did and I made a deal with her to save your life. You could be dead but instead, you're alive. Don't try to cut off your blessing." Typha sighed. He'd watched her head towards her ship as she could barely move towards. Guess that was to be expected with her inches from death just minutes ago. She really had this thought that he was here and only doing what he did cause he had the power too. He did all this and many other actions cause it was the right thing to do. If only she knew his history but guess it was not her fault.
Typha watched her finally get on her ship his good eye staring blankly at the ship. Yudi walked over eyeing Typha. "So why didn't you kill her. You seem down near the end but you stopped." Typha rubbed his head. "If I could come back from the dead so could she. It not like killing her would actually do much, it might even make her point. Using my power to decide how the world should be. That is a dangerous game and one I don't want to follow. I used my strength today to stop her from hurting people. I shouldn't use it to kill her. Though she may try something like agian and with more people." Yudi eyed his friend, "And if she does that what are you going to do about it." Typha looked up at the ship shrugging. "We don't want to find out. All I know is that I got to keep training and hopefully after cooling her head she will see that we all want the same thing." Typha shrugged thought he was doubtful of that. At the very least everyone was safe and alive. They could count their blessing on that.
