Sulfur's PL: 1,000
Another day, another death.
Sulfur once loved planet Earth. She loved everything about it; the beautiful forests, the vast oceans, the bright, colorful cities… but now all that has changed. The avali now, instead, held more of a grudge towards this beautiful planet, all because it lured the wicked people of the world here. Why were people lured here? Because of some magical wish-granting balls of course. They were the main cause of hate, envy, and death. Namek also had these balls as well, but… it seemed like they weren’t the main focus as of now.
If only that was the case, because maybe then the person she loved the most would’ve still been around.
Sulfur’s been staying at Carro’s office ever since making the discovery. She wanted to be near is belongings, hopefully to derive some happy memories from them. The avian would be sitting in his office chair, all by her lonesome as she just stared down at his desk. She didn’t have TURO with her right now, because… well, she wanted to be left alone. What made things worse was the fact that she was probably running Crop Co. or at least will be whenever she stopped grieving… which might not be ever. The feathers below her eyes were matted with her tears, having cried ever since discovering her lover’s death.
She wanted to go out there and find whoever killed Carro. She wanted to go gather the dragon balls. She wanted to do everything all at once, but that would just end up with her dying. Actually, why would she care about dying at this point? She’s always wanted to die at some point in her life, with some aspects of it emerging every so often whenever she had all her friends. The thoughts and feelings she had were dark and gloomy, but as soon as Carro came into her life, things seemingly became better.
Hell, everything DID get better. Carro, along with his friends, managed to brighten her up! She grew more confident about herself, became less depressed, and whenever that horrible stuff happened before involving Banzo… they managed to help her whenever she was grieving. She embraced the love and support she was given, but… now she wants none of it. The one thing that made her enjoy life was gone now. This was the second time someone she loved died, and it’s beginning to make her believe that maybe she was cursed or something. Anyone that dated her was bound to die soon it seemed.
Sulfur would sigh quietly, resting her head on Carro’s desk. All she wanted was to live a happy life with someone she loved. All she wanted was someone that cared, and she wanted to care for someone else. She wanted to live a life in which they helped each other with work and all that… and hell, maybe in the future, they could’ve gotten a kid or something. Now all that was gone, and she was left with just his belongings. From all the pictures of them to the text messages, everything reminding her of him now made her feel as if everything was hopeless.
She didn’t want to be abandoned again. She didn’t want to be alone. She doesn’t want this. She hates this… and for some weird reason, she was beginning to feel as if all of this was because of her doing. Somehow she caused this… was she annoying? Overly worried? What was it? Whatever it was, she’d try to think of an answer, with her head resting on her dead lover’s desk.

DEATH DO US PARTCARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE)
The somber silence enveloping King's Castle didn't last much longer. A metallic THUNK and clatter echoed through the halls. There was a crumpling of metal, like a rusty door-hinge screeching open. Gripping onto the spiral stairs railing was a mechanical hand, frayed wires pouring from the its wrist. Though he'd fallen down a flight thanks to another uncontrolled spasm of his alien body, even in death Earth's leader refused to lie down.
After a brief reunion with Van and Ima, Carro was fortunate to be patched up to the best of the androids' abilities. Though his right arm remained absent, a makeshift leg took the place of the one he was missing prior. It was a fairly swift repair job- neither of them fully knew how his new body worked, and Carro didn't want his final death to pass because they flicked the wrong lever. Did he have levers now? His form felt empty and cold, but his mind still raced with fear. Still, what determination he had left guided him to pull himself upright again. He had a second chance, as morbid and costly as it was. He was not going to waste it.
Dragging his metal legs up the stairs, he stumbled forwards to slump against the hallway walls. Static clouded his sight again. If he still had blood, it would have ran cold as he saw a popup appear in his vision. His skin was cold and hard. The horrific fact that he was made of wires, plastic, code and memory made him feel sick in spite of his lack of a stomach. Keep going, his consciousness ushered. He took a step forwards.
Not a moment later, his leg sparked and gave in, causing him to collapse to the floor again with a pained string of beeps that translated roughly to several curse words in Plexbit-speech. A dresser he'd held onto for support wobbled, nearly toppling onto him before he managed to crawl away in the nick of time. He managed to catch one of it's contents before it broke on the floor. As his vision slowly came into focus, he felt his mechanical heart sink at the sight of it. An old picture of himself and Sulfur. He remembered having Tianum take it shortly after she received Turo. Maybe it was just his poor vision, but he saw his old self smiling in the image, without the slightest hint of purple beneath his green eyes. The single eye on his screen wavered. Perhaps it was a good thing he didn't have tear ducts anymore.
Get up, his mind ordered. Get up for Sulfur. Caro tried to raise himself again with his single arm. The limb wobbled under his body's weight before collapsing again. He was terrified, dreading the future to come, frightened for what the future held, and just wanted everything to go back to the way it was so he could rest. He wanted to live and be with those he loved and spend the rest of his days being the leader his dear home deserved. The former saiyan's vision flickered in and out again. At least things couldn't get any worse... Right?

Sulfur had no more tears to cry at the moment, and no matter how hard she tries, she couldn’t shed a single one. She wanted to keep crying and crying, because that’s all she wanted to do. Her head was hurting, her eyes were puffy… everything was horrible for the avian. She’d let out a sigh, moving a hand up to one of her upper ears to rub it. By the kais… she has a lot of work to do soon. Sulfur would smile only slightly as she sat up in the chair, glancing down and pulling out her phone. She’d turn it on, taking a moment to just stare at her screensaver of her and Carro. The avian’s arm began to tremble, and soon enough a single tear would drop upon her phone’s screen. The headache she had now grew worse, her eyes seemingly growing even more numb.
Before she could break down completely, she’d heard what sounded like a crash… then some loud, foul-mouthed beeping. Sulfur could easily decipher the plexbit language at this point, and she’d let out a small sigh as she gotten up. They probably needed some help with something, like maybe accidentally dropping a box or whatever. It didn’t matter, ‘cause Sulfur would come investigate anyways.
The avali would wander around the office area, getting some brief, fond memories as she walked around. Good things usually happened in the office, like that one time whenever Carro had a broken leg and tried to JUMP of all things. It was hilarious to Sulfur thinking back on it, especially since she was very worried for him at the time. If only she was just a little bit more worried, then maybe she could’ve helped Carro. But now… well, there isn’t any helping him now. All she can do is keep Crop Co. running and try to run for President too, which would definitely stress her out but… she’s willing to risk not having any sleep now.
Soon enough the avali would arrive, and almost immediately she’d get down near the plexbit. “Oh, jeez… you okay? What happened, buddy?” She’d ask, her tone sounding quite tired. “Let’s get you fixed up, alright? Here, let me help you up.” The avian would say, beginning to lift him up and slinging his working arm over her shoulders.

CARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE)
In the midst of Carro's wavering sight, more alerts invaded his vision... Low battery? He had batteries?! Would he die if they ran out?! It explained why his limbs weren't willing to listen to him, but it did little to quell the surging panic in his body. He had to get up. He was almost to his office. He had to have left some blueprints for his new predicament in there somewhere, right? Try as he might, no amount of willpower could force his body to move.
Though as a familiar voice called out to him, Carro found what little of his body that he could move freezing in shock. His one visible eye contracted, locked onto the Avali as he again found himself genuinely wondering if he was dreaming or not. His vision shifted in and out of focus, but he knew Sulfur's voice anywhere. She sounded tired. From what little focus he could manage, he could tell that she was just as much of a mess as him. His fear was replaced by another horrible mixture of regret, guilt, and grief. There was so much he wanted to say, but his voice refused to let him.
[-̵̛͢/҉̛̛͘\̷̛͟͝|̴̡͏͢-̷̴̀Ş̵͘.̧.̛. S̡u̵lf̡ur..̴̛̛.̡̛́͡?̛́͝] Pained static and blips coated his voice. He'd tried to utter other words in his robotic tongue, but only the Avali's name would be discernible from the mechanical mess of clashing sounds. Carro winced, gripping his head as another spark lashed from the gash in his faceplate. The lack of skin beneath his three fingers made him shudder again. He couldn't struggle even if he wanted to as Sulfur helped him upright, though his legs still lifelessly dangled like a doll's.
Though even his new body screamed for him to give into his fatigue, he tried to speak again in a string of beeps. [Í̶—̵̵͏m̶̡ ̶̶́so͡R-̨r̸—̡ s̀o̧Rr̶y͡] She didn't recognize him. How could she when he was in this pitiful form? As much as he tried to croak out his name, to scream out that he wasn't gone yet, his tone devolved again into undecipherable static. Another alarm buzzed in his face. Low battery, overheating... No, he couldn't rest until she knew. He closed his eye, trying feebly to fight his fear and think of some way he could communicate. A small wisp of orange ki escaped one of the vents on his head, coupled with a few thin trails of smoke. He had to think of something- anything.

Seems as if the legs weren’t working, which meant she had to drag him along. It wasn’t a bad thing of course, considering her augments made her capable of lifting anything that wasn’t a ton. This plexbit definitely wasn’t that, and she’d let out a small sigh as she lifted him up, carrying the robot in her arms now. The last thing she needed was for his leg to accidentally get stuck on something, because that would definitely damage the poor robot even more. But upon doing so however, she’d hear him beep, albeit it sounding very staticy and difficult to discern.
It was her name.
She froze for a moment before realizing that it might’ve known her name just because, well, it was programmed to… or… or it just knew her because she was just… well, one of the well-known members of Crop Co. Ugh, now that Ashi person’s mindset was rubbing off on her a little bit. That was definitely a clear sign that she was in a dark place. “Yes, it’s me, Sulfur. I’ll get you fixed up soon enough, don’t you worry about it…”
But then it would apologize, or at least… it sounded like it. ‘I’m sorry’? For what? She was obviously very confused, and already she was trying to decipher what the other beeps meant. They were too distorted however, and the avian would frown as the robot suddenly began to smoke and let out what appeared to be orange ki.
Already she was trying to come up with something, although trying to avoid the one answer that came to the top of her head: it was Carro. It wasn’t possible. This couldn’t have been him, but… all of this would make her even more eager to fix the plexbit. She could feel him getting hotter and hotter, but she’d endure the pain, quickening her pace a bit. “C’mon, just hold out a lil’ longer.” She said, gritting her teeth a bit as she switched from a light jog to what could be considered a sprint to Carro’s old workshop.
The avian would soon enough get there, unless the robot prevented that. But depending if things went smoothly, she’d immediately place the plexbit on a table before proceeding over to the tools, frantically looking around and realizing she had no clue on what to do. She could figure it out herself, yeah. She was smart enough to do so, but… she didn’t want to risk it. He was very different compared to the others… very, very different, so there's a high chance she could screw up. "O-Okay, okay... need to find... screwdriver, er... n-no..." She'd say to herself.

CARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE)
Carro was carried along by the speeding Avali, his artificial eye still flickering. The sight of his old workshop filled his chest with a swell of somber nostalgia. He'd fixed up LEO so many times here, and made plenty of other of his best pieces over the sleepless nights spent fumbling in those toolboxes. Atop one was a sleeping black cat. He hoped Cola had been well fed.
The distorted buzzes in his ears made it harder to hear Sulfur, but he could tell she was looking through the tools for something. The thought of wrenches and hammers and wires being stuck into him made him want to scream- it was normal for androids, but his mind wasn't acclimated to his new form. The emptiness he felt where his stomach should have been, the mere idea that he had a bunch of circuit boards in his head instead of a brain... Maybe the fact that his backup body was so touchy wasn't the only reason he never finished it in the first place, in hindsight.
Still, he managed to collect himself just enough to focus on his surroundings again. He could make out a fleck of blue from behind some toolboxes, with a distinct coffee stain on it's corner. He managed to almost reach the trash can while Sulfur was busy, but a spark of electricity from his wrist caused his hand to spasm and knock the bin over. He buzzed something out again, though it was far too distorted to be translated. His one eye glanced from Sulfur to the rolled blue paper.
The blueprints held the schematics for... something that somewhat resembled the robot Sulfur was holding. The android portrayed on them was much more complete- two arms, a proper set of five fingers, more armor coating the bony limbs the battery-drained bot Sulfur was holding had.
Carro's handwriting dotted the sides of the page, though much of it had been seemingly scribbled out in frustration with underlined "NO"'s and "DIDN'T WORK" beside a few lists as he'd been troubleshooting in his living days. There was even a doodle of Cola in one corner. Most of the specifications, thankfully, had check-marks scrawled beside them. Carro buzzed incoherently again, though fearful strain was evident in his gibberish. Were androids supposed to get this tired?

“No, no… oh no, what else do I need? I need metal, but what kind? Oh kais, oh kais…” Sulfur was nibbling at her claws nervously as she looked around for the tools that would’ve been needed to repair this robot. The nervousness and anxiety she began to feel was overpowering, her thoughts wandering off and on here and there. Her breathing grew quicker and quicker, but she’d let out a loud squeak whenever she heard something getting knocked over. “C-Cola, now’s not the-!” She’d turn around to see that the garbage bin was knocked over, and her eyes would trail down to see what would be a blueprint.
She’d stare at it for a moment before glancing back up at the robot, blinking a couple of times before immediately scooping the paper up! Sulfur would hold it out in front of her, immediately recognizing Carro’s handwriting upon first glance. She’d mumble to herself, narrating what he has written before slowly looking back up at the robot again. She’d glance back down, then back up, doing this a few times before immediately getting to work. “Okay, just…” She’d approach the robot, moving his arm back to the table as well as making sure that he REMAINED on the table, “... sit still. Relax… uh, I know what I’m doing now. Just stay there.”
And after that, she’d immediately get to work. Without that schematic, she would’ve taken a lot longer trying to figure this robot out. There would’ve been a likely chance that she might’ve screwed up too without this blueprint! But anyways, the avian would swiftly gather all the necessary things needed for the robot. Sulfur was honestly a little confused on why this was thrown into the trash, and not only that, but the robot itself seemed as if it was… unfinished. Did Carro throw this out by any chance? Why did he? And why did it activate… now? Sulfur had a sinking feeling in her gut, but… she also feel hopeful for some reason.
There had to be a reason why it activated now.
But an hour or so would pass while she fixed the robot, taking extra precaution and looking back at the schematics whenever needed.
If all things go well, Sulfur would just sit down in the nearest chair, panting. She was mentally exhausted before, but now she was physically exhausted… or a blend of both. If it needed to be turned on, she would've done so already, having more than likely replaced his battery if he, y'know, suddenly turned off in the middle of repairs.

CARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE)
Another wave of fatigue and low battery alert left the android limp on the table, his digital eye barely cracked open. Van had tinkered with him before- the alien sensation of wires being adjusted inside him and screwdrivers being poked into his body was frightening, though he didn't have the stamina to struggle. This was no nightmare- his humanity had been lost. As uncomfortable as it was, it was better than dying for real. Right? He closed his eye and buzzed lowly in anticipation. The dread was a hundred times worse than getting a shot at the doctor's. But he put up with it.
Occasionally, as Sulfur was trying to repair him, he'd manage a few more words in broken Plexbit speech every now and then to try and instruct her when she seemed to be having trouble. A few times he'd tried to say things seemingly unrelated to the situation at hand. Something about dragons and an avocado? Though not much longer later, the poor robot finally passed out with a robotic whimper as his batteries ran dry.
> MENU SYSTEMS REACTIVATED. > L-LEG.exe AND R-LEG.exe STABLIZED. > REBOOTING...
Carro's vision flickered again. He had a horrible dream. He died and woke up to find himself made of metal with an empty feeling in his gut. He winced as he saw his reflection in the sleek surface of his steel arm. His facial screen had been repaired alongside with the rest of his body, though Sulfur would have found that there weren't enough parts around to build a new arm to replace his missing one, and his vocal systems still refused to fully cooperate. A popup appeared in his vision. It said something about calibrating. He was still regaining feeling in his body, but managed to wiggle one of his legs.
"--̕..O-̴k̢A̛-a͠y?"̨ He tried to ask about Sulfur's wellbeing... In hindsight, it was a stupid question. He ran his hand down his face. Of course she wasn't okay! Why would either of them be after all of this crap?! His chest ran cold as his worries swelled again. If he even managed to tell her in the first place, would he just make things worse by being like this? Would she be mad at him and throw him out for being unfathomably stupid? He buzzed again in growing despair. Why couldn't this all have just never happened? Instead they could have been relaxing at home, watching some Mech Wars and--
A message popped up in his vision at the thought. 'Open Movies: Mech Wars? Y / N' ...Did he have apps?
His vision flickered again. A HUD, only visible to the confused android, popped into his view. He remembered using some ZPhone parts as placeholders for his body, but this? Carro was both terrified and oddly curious. He focused onto one of the icons- messages. Another string of incoherent blips echoed from him as realization struck. Maybe...
Sulfur's phone would buzz with a notification. A text seemingly from beyond the grave- from Carro.
> Not all dead yet > I'm right here. > I'm sorry.
"So͝rR͟-̡y҉Y" The android reiterated, slowly pushing himself upright with his single, trembling arm. He wearily glanced to his special other, the cogs in the place of his heart churning in anticipation. There was so much he wanted to say and scream out, but the words didn't come to him now.

And there he went beeping again, all of which were incoherent from all the gibberish of other electronic noises and static. Ugh, she needed to work on that later, but right now she needed to sit down and rest. Was this how Carro felt? Exhausted and sad all the time? Was she going to get overworked like him? If so, she wasn’t prepared for it… but he must’ve not been prepared for any of it either. She should’ve kept asking him if he needed help, otherwise… she might’ve been able to do something. It wasn’t just about his death either, but she could’ve made him a little happier by taking some of the weight off his shoulders. She didn’t do anything however, and he died because of it. Anyways, she’d perk up her ears, glancing up towards the android and letting out a sigh, “Sorry, I couldn’t find anything to… fix your arm. Your voice modulator is messed up too it seems… ugh, I have no clue why it’s being all glitchy. B-But I’ll fix it soon, don’t worry. At… at least you’re not overheating again.” She would say with a sigh.
The avian would slouch herself against a wall, closing her eyes and trying to relax… until her phone buzzed. She’d perk her head up whenever her pocket began to vibrate, and she’d reach in to see the notification. It was probably Van-80 messaging her or someone else, but… it wouldn’t be someone she’d expect. It was, in fact, Carro that messaged her.
She’d stare at her phone, looking like a statue, frozen in place. Her eyes would move from her phone to the robot, then from the robot to her phone. Sulfur was so confused. “N-No… it can’t...” Then he’d utter something she could hear, even through the static and distortion. “... C-Carro…” A smile would form across her face as she walked over to him, still holding onto her phone and clutching it to her chest. Once she approached the table, she’d let out a sigh, tears slowly beginning to form in her eyes. “Don’t… Don’t be sorry. You… you did your best… I’m sorry f-for… not figuring this out sooner.” He said before hopping onto the table, wrapping her arms around the android for an embrace.
Her grip was tight, however the android didn’t really have to worry about breathing luckily. She’d stuff her face into his metallic shoulder, not minding the fact that all this was… a little uncomfortable, considering she was hugging metal. “I’m… just so happy that you’re… back.” Sulfur would quietly huff, leaning back a bit to look at his ‘face’. She’d move a hand against the side of his face, rubbing the metal tenderly, “So, so happy… s-so happy in fact, I would…” And she would lean forward, planting a kiss right where his ‘face’ was, “... do that.” Sulfur would then return to hugging the android, not letting go at the moment. “Don’t bother talking to me either, nerd. Use… use the phone, or whatever you did. It’s hard to understand you right now, but I’ll fix it soon...”

CARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE)
Carro's form only tensed further as Sulfur froze at the sight of his message. Another hurricane of overthought worry and fear came over him- what was he thinking?! She'd probably just get sadder seeing him like this! And he was going to get thrown out for real for being horrible, and then he'd rust away in some corner. He was just as still as Sulfur- if he was still physically able, he would have been sweating bullets.
Lo and behold, though, Sulfur's reaction was quite the contrary. The resurrected machine initially slunk back somewhat, but cracked his digitized eyes open as the Avali smiled. A concerned blip and beep followed as he saw tears welling up in her eyes again, but he silenced himself as she spoke. He was going to say sorry for being sorry, but managed to catch himself before he made an even bigger fool of himself. "͏Y̸-́yo̡u'͜rR̷E͢-͘-̷..͞ ͢n͢-n͘o͡T̴ ma-͘d̸?̴" His eye widened and flickered- the closest thing he could manage to relieved teary-eyes.
Carro instinctively tried to gasp for air as Sulfur hugged him tight, but the only sound he managed was yet another robotic buzz. His thoughts were now made of only ones and zeroes, cogs turning and wires churning in the place of his heart and blood. Even the most basic things now felt so alien, so utterly terrifying... But the warm feeling of Sulfur's embrace and her hand on his face hadn't changed one bit. He would have burst into tears then and there if he could. With a mechanical whimper he was quick to return the hug, his single arm still trembling in another surge of overwhelming emotion. He tried to say something again, but it was indiscernible.
...Right, the phone. Carro shuddered again as the messages popped up into his vision. He didn't think he'd ever get used to any of this. Still, he wiped his face and fumbled with his HUD again. Carro hesitated again. What else was he even supposed to say? He hardly knew what to do next, how to try to explain everything and express what he felt.
> ... > This is going to take a lot of getting used to. > I hardly know how this thing even worked in this state.
Carro didn't know if it was a curse or a miracle that he'd been shoved into this robotic form yet. He was still here with what he held so dear, and had a second chance to make things right and defend his home... But the haunting recollections of his killers made him quiver again. There was no LEO to help his firepower this time, and if they didn't do something, the rest of Earth's defenders could also find themselves at the wrong end of Vocado and Cress's bloodlust. He was going to have some stern words with Kayen, that much was certain. But...
> ...I think it'd be best if we kept all this under wraps. > id rather not be murdered for real tbh so for now if anyone asks im dead. > hard to think right now
The deceased President managed a robotic sigh, gazing out the window. How long did he have to try to fix himself and everything else?

Sulfur would chuckle after deciphering the jumbled mess of beeps and boops, shaking her head. “Not at all mad… why would I be? Y-You’re here… that’s all that matters to me.” Longest that he was here, she didn’t care what had happened to him. Like, if he became some sort of giant scary monster somehow, she’d still be pretty happy! Plus why get mad over the fact that he’s back? Sure, he died without any knowledge on where he was, but there wasn’t any point in being mad at him just for that. It’d make things worse more than anything, and all she cared about was that he was here!
As she hugged onto him, she’d feel her phone vibrate in her hand. She’d raise it up a bit, reading the messages he sent. She’d just let out a small giggle, her grip tightening a bit, “Well, I can only imagine. I’d… I’d be confused too if I woke up in a different body… but either way, we can figure out how the body works together. And when I mean together, I mean it.” She said with a slight stern in her voice, her free hand running up and down the robot’s back slowly. All she wanted to do was hug him, even if they should really, y’know, start figuring out how his body worked. Though to be honest, a good rest would be good for the both of them. She could only imagine the mental stress he felt… if he felt anything of the sort. He should though, because… maybe his soul was attached to the machine? She remembered how plexroids have souls, albeit artificial ones, but maybe…
“Yeah, we can… just keep all this a secret then, if you want to. Does Van-80 and Tianum know? Anyone else aware of the fact that you’re this?” She’d ask, “But whenever it comes to all the President stuff… what are we gonna do about that? Are you just gonna lose the status? I… I can try to help out maybe, if… that’s how it works? And running Crop Co… I… nevermind. I don’t want you to think too hard or anything.” She said, and soon enough she’d let go of the robot, a smile still fixed on her face. “I love you, Carro. You’re not alone, and… I’ll make sure to help out as much as I possibly can. Alright?”

CARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE)
Carro didn't want to let go of the hug. The mere thought of figuring out how to use his new form was jarring, though. Everything he did find out felt horribly, horribly wrong. He used to be a saiyan! Saiyans didn't have apps, or beeped, or sparked! He remained silent, closing his eyes. He just wanted to pass out in his bed... Was he even physically capable of normal sleep now?
The former saiyan shook his head to snap himself out of his thoughts. He buzzed, pondering things to himself as Sulfur asked him her own questions.
> I don't think there's a specific protocol for dying and being turned into a robot > But I'm still alive. Mostly. > So I still have the position. I'll just be on medical leave. More or less. Probably.
It was the closest thing he could think of to what protocol would exist. He'd have to let his guards and other officials know so they didn't up and start a new election or something, but they would surely keep it hush-hush. As for the rest of the gang...
> Van knows. He's the one that found me awhile ago. Ima too. > ...I'll tell Tianum and my parents later.
Revealing the truth twice was enough for one night. He didn't know if he'd be able to take another teary reunion. Still, his eyes lit up again as Sulfur spoke. As terrified as he was of getting hurt again, or any of the others endangering themselves, alone was the last thing he wanted to be right now. "Thank you." He managed to croak out in proper english. Hearing his own voice, though it hurt somewhat to speak, felt comforting.
Torn from his thoughts again, Carro initially flinched as he felt something prop up against his side, but a familiar meow calmed him down. Cola sniffed the oddly familiar-smelling android, purring as he climbed up and rested atop Carro's shoulders.
> There's a lot we should get to doing. > but > i rly just want to take a nap right now
Emotionally, Carro's batteries had ran dry a long time ago. He wanted to plan and protect his home with this second chance, to run out and let Tianum and Chime and everyone else know he was still here. But he just wanted to stop worrying, stop thinking for just a short while and pass out under layers of blankets with the night breeze echoing outside his window. Was one night of rest too much to ask for?

Well, that makes sense, she guessed. The avian would just shrug, “Alright then. Yeah, a medical leave would be good for you… it’ll hopefully give you time to, y’know, figure out how your new body works. I’ll help, obviously! Just know I might have to… poke around and stuff, just so you know ahead of time.” She said with a short giggle, letting out a small hum upon hearing who knew about his condition. As for Tianum and his parents? Oh lordy. She’d reach over to his hand, gripping it tightly. “I can help out with that if you want me to. I’m gonna be glued to your side for… a good month probably, so you better get used to it, nerd.” She teased, leaning forward once more to press her face against where his ‘neck’ was affectionately. Kais, Sulfur felt wonderful knowing that Carro was still around, even if he’s changed dramatically. She was just so happy with the fact that Carro was alive and not… dead.
Sulfur’s ears would perk up whenever she heard his voice, her eyes widening as well. His voice. Oh kais, that was his voice! The avian would let out a small squeal, “Your voice modulator is… working, sort of! I-I guess it’s just… taking its time to work, or something. E-Either way though… you’re welcome, and I’ll make sure to help you. You’re not alone, sweetie.” And then Cola would make an appearance! She’d go ahead and pet them, but she’d first read the last couple of messages Carro sent. “Mmm… yeah, I’m honestly due for one too. I’m very exhausted… I’m surprised I’m able to smile right now, heheh.” Sulfur would then lean back, rubbing her eyes. “Let’s go home… then we can start getting to work once you’re ready.”
Wherever they went, she wouldn't mind. Longest Carro was nearby, she could rest easy... but she needed to ask him what happened soon enough. Right now though wasn't a good time, for they both needed some well-deserved rest.
And thus ends the thread! Had a lotta fun.
