So far, this trip was turning out to be a wild goose chase. Same as the other five journeys Freige had recently embarked on, all in part due to the rumor chasing he had resorted to in order to try and find Nashua. It wouldn't be so hard if he had been given a proper scouter com, a general location, or really just anything at all to contact her. What was he supposed to do if a hostile power came to take over Arcose in her absence? Ask them politely to stop and wait for the queen to return from vacation? Freige did not levy too much blame upon the Saiyan, knowing that he couldn't exactly expect her to instantly conform to what he thought was 'befitting' behavior for a monarch.
Last he heard the Saiyan Queen Kayen also traveled quite often, rarely ever stopping on her own planet for any reason. He had been there, that day when the pair had announced the annexation of Arcose. The culture gap was still a bit shocking to get over, but progress was being made. It had halted, though, in part due to this earthly excursion. Of course, there wasn't that much to do on Arcose that was 'fun' at the moment, but have mercy! It was a planet in dire need of at least regular updates from its new sovereign if nothing else.
He wasn't entirely uncomfortable with administrative efforts, that's what Nashua had appointed him for the in the first place, but knowing that their de facto leader actually cared about the planet at all would be a nice bonus. Currently he was wandering a few lesser populated islands off the southern coast of Earth, where he had heard that Nashua was currently at. The attraction of spending time at a sandy shore was beyond him, but he knew that many species enjoyed it for one reason or the other. And putting that together with 'vacation' had gotten his hopes up that this time, the rumor would turn out to be true. He landed on one of the coastlines, ignoring the startled looks thrown his way by some of the Earthlings.
Tail swishing in annoyance, Freige attempted to restructure his whole approach to this task. Surely getting more eyes to look would be helpful indeed, but he didn't want to just send an army's worth of other Arcosians out on the planet when they were still in a delicate diplomatic state. A galactic incident would not occur on his watch at the hands of himself or his crew, that much he knew for certain.
