So far Cress had woken up and eaten breakfast, leaving him to decide what his next move would be. More than likely it would be a quick training session, but as he neared the end of his meal he decided to do something different. He'd not seen Kayen or since the fight on Arcose, and he knew exactly where her ship was. He was still a in the Saiyan Kingdom, and one if it's best warriors, so it was only right for him to report in. He'd barely talked to anyone recently, besides the other saiyans he was working with to get the dragon balls. That reminded him, did she look at the picture he'd sent to her? He may as well go and find out.
After picking the last few scraps of meat off the last bone he threw it to the side. He rose from the boulder that he'd made his seat albeit an uncomfortable one and began his flight to the stormbreaker...

The stormbreaker was in sight and if Kayen was inside his scouter would surely pick up her signature. He made a quick descent but managed to make a gentle landing after a rapid decrease in speed near an entrance. He began his walk. 'This is awfully close to that tower.'

There was a time when a random visitor trying to make his way onto the Stormbreaker would have elicited a violent reaction from its crew, the pirates were after all quite protective of the ship, for many it was their home, for even more of them a second home. But with their captains ascendance from just Captain to Queen some concessions had inevitably needed to be made when it came to who was given free reign to visit the ship. Were it not for Barb it likely would have required a massive overhaul to how the crew behaved while landed on a planet, guards would need to be posted at the ramp to make sure no randoms just wandered in without identification, now though their scouters were upgraded and able to get a good read on even the most powerful of warriors, and more importantly for the current situation they were able to identify ‘friendly’ scouter frequencies. Barb had a set up that gave varying levels of clearance. Anyone with a Kingdom scouter could approach but a signal would go out to give a heads up that an unknown but likely friendly source was inbound. Anyone Kayen was familiar enough with got a full pass, and in general most people with an excessively high power signature ALSO got a pass if only to avoid any of the crew trying to rough up the wrong person. And so Cress upon his arrival got a few looks from the members of Kayens crew outside the ship, a wild mix of varying species from across the quadrant most of whom either ignored him or gave a vague nod of acknowledgment. Meanwhile Kayen herself was alerted to the arrival, Cress fell into a murky space, not quite someone she was familiar enough to give complete free reign to but certainly not someone she wanted ejected from the premises. The queen had been working on things for her next step in her plans but Cress’ arrival was worth a break especially as it seemed he had gotten QUITE a bit stronger since she had last seen him,. “Cress, you seem to be doing well, you’ve gotten even stronger. Not bad at all” Idly the Queen wondered if he had unlocked Super Saiyan yet, Cress was definitely a dangerous one to wield that much power considering his temper but she could not exactly wish herself to NOT have the advantage of another Super Saiyan in her army.

The guards of the ship seemed unbothered by his presence, allowing him to board the ship uncontested. Not too long after boarding the Stormbreaker he ran into Kayen, who was just the person he was here to see. He placed his right hand over the left side of his chest and bowed. "My queen." Cress would rise soon after.
"Thank you. You appear to have gotten stronger since we last met too." Cress paused for a little more than a second before continuing, getting to what he was here for. "I've been busy. So far I've become a super saiyan and even mastered the transformation. I take it you haven't heard of what I've been up to? I sent you a message a while ago, it was very important. Probably vital to any plans you may have had that involves this planet." |

“You did? Very good” Kayen was pleasantly surprised by the confirmation that Cress had unlocked the ‘legendary’ form, granted the more time went on the less ‘legendary’ it felt as the tide of power began to rise higher and higher, now something akin to the power of the Saiyan legend was beginning to feel almost… common, not enough to make it irrelevant but certainly enough that one could not just automatically assume having the form would guarantee victory as it might once have done. Cress also mentioned a message, Kayen raised an eyebrow not remembering any messages before remembering that she had Barb set it up that she could ‘mute’ notifications from unknown scouter calls if she wanted, it had been with the assumption that she would eventually check them to make sure nothing important slipped through and only been done because she often received an excessive amount of unnecessary messages and calls. “Let me check” she tapped her scouter a few times scrolling through the messages ignoring the ones that Barb’s system flagged as truly irrelevant until she found what felt likely to be Cress’s a short message with an attached picture from the scouter that quickly loaded as she opened the message properly. Kayen blinked as the sight filled her vision. “Holy shit.” Kayen had not been sure what to expect out of Cress when he had said it would be vital to her plans for the Earth, she had some vague idea that maybe it might be some attack plan he had cooked up with accompanying battle plans or something, or maybe something usable as blackmail? But this? “HOW?” Kayen voiced the question in a raised tone though not strictly out of anger but more genuine confusion, Cress was strong certainly, and would certainly be immensely powerful as a Super Saiyan. But LEO was in a completely different league and Kayen could see that Carro was in his ‘LEO mode’ or whatever it was called, where the giant mech shrank down to act as an exosuit for him.

The pleased queen commended him. A smirk would form as Kayen looked for his message. When she did find it and realized what she was looking at he got a shock and surprised reaction. "I thought I was going to die at first." Cress began thinking back to the battle, picturing it in his mind, "Then he transformed and made himself a bigger target. The armor was the toughest I've ever seen, but it didn't protect his entire body. I blasted a hole in him when I got the chance, and once he was dead I vaporized the rest of his body just so no one could come and pick it up and possibly bring him back to life." Cress would stop talking after that and gave Kayen time to respond.

Still shocked from what was on display on her scouter Kayen listened as Cress explained HOW he had accomplished what should have been an insurmountable fear, the way he told it implied that Cress had simply managed to catch Carro himself with a blast, somehow avoiding having LEO protect the president and presumably also avoiding being mauled during his efforts. And if Cress was to be believed he’d also vaporized Carro meaning that the President had not simply been faking defeat to get Cress to take off, it all sounded impossible but she supposed that with enough luck it WAS feasible even if unlikely, she didn’t actually know LEO’s capabilities well enough to know if the Android could keep pace with the actual power output available to a newly transformed Super Saiyan. “Alright… It sounds impossible based on what I know about LEO’s full strength, but I suppose technically possible if you caught Carro when his protector could not do its job, aswell I can’t exactly choose to assume you’re lying considering the picture” Kayen ran a hand through her hair to help herself focus her thoughts. “I suppose the next important question is WHY” Kayen could make a few assumptions on the why but she was interested in hearing the reasoning from the source himself, Cress was a bit of a wildcard so in theory a lot of things were on the table, her first guess would be simply because he wanted to, or to begin a conquest of Earth.

Arms crossed after delivering his explanation, he waited and listened. "I will not lie, LEO's strength shook me to my core after Carro transformed and it was sent into overdrive. I managed to make it through though. It wasn't fully focused on me, though. It still had to protect the little namekian brat, who I found out was the Guru, from me. Would've killed him had Carro of not hopped in front of him and shielded him. I used that to my advantage."
Next, Kayen wanted to know why he did it. "It's simple, he stood in my way. Besides, what other saiyan could say they killed the president of earth? Once in a life time opportunity to go down in the history books.", Cress proudly said with an accomplished look on his face. "So, were you holding back on doing anything while he was alive? If there's anyone else I can try and kill them too." |

“Right” Kayen said, part of her could hardly blame him for that reasoning, there was something very SAIYAN about simply taking the chance to face the greatest foe you could find and taking genuine pride in managing to take them down even if it only served to cause Kayen a headache that foe was NOT someone she had specifically wanted dead. “No, I was using him. I was working on an agreement with the President to get Earth and its forces to let the Kingdom do what it would want without risk of any of its forces randomly intervening in our expansion. You killing him has likely completely screwed that possibility entirely” Kayen’s mostly neutral expression dropped as she let her annoyance show in the form of a slight scowl and a clearly annoyed tone of voice. “I can’t strictly BLAME you for wanting a fight like that, I’d likely want the same. But I think you fail to realize that I’M the one who’s supposed to decide when we murder planetary leaders. Earth isn’t even particularly useful to the Kingdom, why the hell do you think I’ve never bothered attacking it? The only problem with Earth is it occasionally pops out a few absurdly strong individuals like Carro’s Lion Android, individuals that usually do everything they can to keep Earth safe from threats and perceived threats. That WHY we lost the war with the Mazoku, because of Poi tipping the scales toward peace. You might have taken out Carro but if the Earth finds out you specifically did we could end up screwed AGAIN”

"The President of Earth does not control the warriors that come from it. People will come for the smallest reason, or even none at all, despite anything Carro may say." Cress responds as he saw her scowl and her tone change to a more displeased one. It appeared as if they were about to get into a heated argument, unless Kayen would listen to reason.
She spoke again and Cress listens with open ears, giving her a nod once she was done. "i can see where you're coming from with this. These absurdly strong individuals do more than just protect Earth, they protect anything and everything. They are a pain in the ass, but I plan on nipping the problem in the bud. If you really want to stop the problem, you have to destroy the source of it: the planet itself. The dragon balls won't make it any better, so I plan on getting rid of them too. Anyone who has died should stay dead unless they have the willpower to break free of death itself."
Cress pauses for a second before continuing.
"As far as anyone knows I'm not part of the Kingdom. I've yet to claim it in any of my fights, and if they attack the Kingdom because of it this will be an issue of race, not faction. The Guru has probably already told whoever he associates himself with that I did it. I've put down anyone else that could talk thus far, but I need him alive. We lost the war because there weren't enough of us that were strong. That's one of the things im working on changing as well." |

“He might not control all of them, but his word has power on Earth, he also happened to be one of if not THE strongest, AND I had him willing to stand WITH us before you killed him” Kayen sighed in annoyance, it had even seemed like Carro might have a spark of real Saiyan fire in him that could perhaps be stoked over time to raise an interest in something beyond just peace, that was lost now unless the Dragon Balls were used or he found some way to break through the divide. And apparently Cress had a plan for that, he wanted to DESTROY Earth. That left the Queen blinking in genuine surprise though perhaps it shouldn't have, with everything Cress had said so far. “You might not claim yourself as apart of the Kingdom but people WILL assume it because you’re a Saiyan, what even if the POINT behind you wanting to get rid of Earth, that won’t suddenly remove all the opposition we will inevitably face, Earthlings WILL survive and ‘heroes’ spring up everywhere. You’re endgame only accomplishes pissing everyone off and at BEST putting a target on your back meaning you can’t effectively fight for the Kingdom, OR puts a target on the Kingdom because people decide to associate you with it regardless.”“Earth’s best left on it’s own, the fighters it DOES produce that might challenge us can be useful as long as the WHOLE Earth isn’t united against us, strong opponents make us stronger, and we have far better planets to be focusing our attention on, planets not devoted to peace that can be integrated into the army.”
