For the Sake of Sake Sanbu's PL: 100'000
What lain as typical sand and nothing more appeared to feature an entire host of strange sights and faces within its depths. The Fortuneteller Desert was but a location not to be ignored if one were seeking a thrill. In the midst of an extremely arid site during a reasonably hot winter's day lain a peculiar setting. Here in the vast expanse of sand stood a small village of humble stature. Its architectural landscape was not that remarkable by the typical human standard but there still remained marvels worth gazing upon. A many small stone houses lay scattered about with a certain random nature to the way they were plotted on the ground. Their color a shade off-white, rather similar to the hue of the very sand they were built upon. Flora was mixed here and there as one could gather that some manner of an oasis probably resided here beyond the very staining mark that most civilizations tended to have. Among the many buildings present there appeared to be one that proved to be the focus of the town. It stood at an impressive height, standing at around three stories tall in comparison to the many one story buildings nearby. But what of its inner compartments? Such would be where Sanbu found himself, at the first floor of the building lost in conversation with a few Majin near his person for the time being. They all looked alike Sanbu though their outfits all sported slight variations to his, as if to state they were all a uniform of some kind. Clothes and skin of extremely varied colors but still maintaining a similar theme throughout. The tavern was not that populated however there still remained a capable ambiance within the building. The sounds of a many instruments came to clash and meld with each other in a bizarre mash. Singers, musicians and dancers all alike graced the tavern in their own unique approach. Travelers entered and left the place at random intervals as the bustling Majin village found the most particular characters enter its quarters. After enough time had elapsed the once active bar had grown to become more withdrawn, quieting down given how late it had gotten. The sun had nigh begun to set and a misty orange hue shone through the tavern, the sky was a fierce scarlet color. As the music started to simmer Sanbu came to look at his cup in sheer boredom, conversation had left him and so sake proved the only capable means of relaxation at the moment. <Maybe it isn't that I've found dull circumstances to be in but perhaps it is simply the fact that I have become more of a boring person as of recent. Given enough of the same circumstance one has got to start isolating the variables. I ought to change the self so that I may become one who does not find themselves in these situations.> With a slight hesitation to the way he examined his cup, Sanbu took a slight sip from the sake. Eager to be whelmed by the feeling it so often gave it.

With each day his travels allowed him to visit countless places he never even imagined but even he wondered why he had come to the desert. The sand always seemed to get everywhere in his shoes and even his clothes in places he would rather not mention. Still in terms of places to train in the desert had been wonderful in allowing him to practice some of his new skills without interruption, a rare feat of late much to his surprise. In the last few years he had never encountered a single equal or interloper on his little training sessions and of late they had just been crawling out of the wood work. Still it was not until the night had started to fall that he had noticed the lights far in the distance, the faint light still nothing but a small light so far in the distance he could mistake as nothing more then a figment of his imagination. Still he had no reason not to go and see if their was a encampment or settlement there, the thought of a real bed away form the sand was much to appealing to not check. Without further pause he lifted into the air and took off in the direction of the light, his pace fast in anticipation of a real bed for a change.
"Perhaps I have gotten a little to use the amenity's of civilization."
He mused aloud as he finally floated over the village, his eyes scanning the small buildings intent of finding out if there was even a place for him to stay. Just cause it was a settlement did not mean they would welcome strangers into their homes, a fact he learned early in his travels at the point of a gun. He could not blame them though as they were only protecting themselves form the many bandits that roamed the country side looking for a easy meal ticket. Still he was confident that he could handle himself enough to at least get away if he needed to. With his thoughts in order he noticed the one of the larger buildings was not only well lit but also had a strange music coming form it. If their was a inn or tavern this would most likely place to look first he thought as he floated down in front of the door before taking a deep breath to steady himself.
"Hello? .....I am a traveler and I was wondering if this is a place one could rent a room? Or at least get a warm meal and drink if possible?
He announced aloud as he entered the strange building, his sentence stopping for a moment as he caught sight of the villagers for the first time. Their strange bodies were unlike anything he had seen before and he found them incredibly bizarre but not so much so their were hard the eyes. In fact a few were quite pleasant to look at with the many different colors their skin and exotic looks. Quickly catching himself he started to finish his inquiry after a small moment as he regained his senses. Walking further inside he looked for someone in charge of this strange establishment before he made more of a fool out of himself.

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
As much as one might know or claim to know about a given topic there never ceased to be some bit of information one could always learn. Though Sanbu had been in the tavern for mere hours, the amount of information he amassed here seemed far too impressive for him to forget. The most practical or at least memorable moments to the Majin had often appeared to him in exceedingly random circumstances and this location was but one of them. On numerous occasions he had frequented this place for differing reasons but in this instance matters felt far more strange or unique for that matter. The day had yet to end but the man felt as if things were slowing down to his great dismay. Of the various conversations he had at the bar, nearly all of them had been noteworthy in his eyes. For how strange or unexpected they might have been they all did not cease to give him the chance to experience or entertain a new person in the field of dialogue. Every minute or so the Majin would take a sip from his cup, pouring himself another glass of sake in rapid succession. He drank without much uncertainty to the manner in which he consumed the liquid. Like scattered leaves his thoughts came to drift him by in a swift and sudden fashion. The music, loud as it was only managed to drown out so much contemplation. There still stood a point where he could not ignore the ever persisting nature of his mind's fragile self. As the tender sound continued in the tavern, deep into clever contemplation would be where Sanbu found himself at a time like this. <Amusing, I have sat in this chair I have come to lose count. But it never is quite the same. Not the feeling and not the seat itself but the very person that sits in it. So I sit here as Sanbu but the very nature of who I am is slowly but surely developing. I need take more time to consider how I ought define myself.> By some stroke of luck however it appeared that matters risked changing and perhaps not for the better but at least in some manner that would bring about intrigue within the bar. Sudden and swiftly came a target of unique regard and demeanor. The Majin would study the individual and apply careful observation towards the stranger's countenance. For a moment Sanbu would let things simply unravel. Much too curious to see who or what might make the first move given the arrival of the man. Their noticeably different style and poise within the boundaries of this humble village called upon the attention of various people among the bar. Weakly waving at the man, Sanbu smiled at them. His warm gestures were accompanied by that of many others as one of the central figures in the bar made themselves known. An old woman of Majin persuasion came to signal her person's existence. From behind the counter the woman spoke aloud, she stood at a measure of around eight feet tall. Her skin was shriveled and pink, as if some manner of plant that had come to fester after having long decayed. Her clothes were a pale beige color, worn for the sake of the unrelenting arid climate. With a tired yet cheery voice the elder ushered out her tone to Reno. "Oh welcome, it seems that you've been fortunate enough to stumble across this place. We do not make ourselves seen quite often but it's always nice to have visitors. You may rent a room but please, why don't you sit down and eat something? Name it and may it be yours, we pay no monetary fees here the only exchange is the barter of ideas. Come, entertain conversation and show us what you've got." Sanbu rose a hand, channeling the attention of Reno should he allow it. He was sitting near the front of the entrance at a table that sported none other than he. "Why hello over there stranger, my name is Sanbu. I see you have found this place, might we converse? It is not often that someone graces these quarters as you have. I cannot help but feel there is some manner of dialogue worth having if only minimally."

Taking a closer look at the bodies of the villagers he noted that they did not seem natural and despite the skin of theirs looking soft that each of them had a power level above the norm. At least when compared to most earthlings and it only made him more curious about this village as he made his way further in. Looking form patron to patron he noticed many of them greeting him with a head nod and even one going so far to give him a friendly wave. A friendly village it seemed as he noticed the lady behind the bar, her cheery voice welcoming him out loud for everyone to hear. Listening to her he strained his head back to look her in the face, a feat he was not used to given his own height and he silently wondered if this was how everyone felt around him.
"Are you sure? I don't mind paying but I think I will take you up on the offer. Thank you for the hospitality! It is rare to see now days in the country side for most travelers"
He responded with a small bow to what seemed the elderly villager, his bow a little deeper then the ones he normally gave to the farmers and the like. Rather then waste to much of her time he quickly scanned the room as he took note of each villager as he quietly scanned each of them trying to learn a little more about their strange bodies. It was during this he saw one of them waving at him to come join him, a red one it seemed that was dressed in some sort of formal wear if he had to guess. Rather then waste a good chance to talk to them he wondered over with a respectful nod before pulling a chair free to join him, his eyes watching the man as he listened to the mans introduction. It was only now with him being close did he notice the strange holes on their bodies, a fact he now noted was carried by all the villagers and not just the one in front of him.
"Thank you for the warm welcome, you may call me Re...re..re.Renuldo Miller. But you may call me Reno to make it easier for you, as it does for me. I would not mind some company at all."
He replied as sat in the chair, his voice breaking into a stutter as his own name. Making sure he was still facing Sanbu he smiled as he studied him for a moment as he tired to grasp just kind of man was in front of him, their strange nature not helping him much in figuring it out. Still it might be nice to have some pleasant company for a change, at least compared to the bandits that roamed these lands. He wondered how these people dealt with the threats of bandits and the great desert.
"I am a traveling martial artist hoping to improve my skills and it was during these travels I wondered onto your village. I must say I was more then a little surprised that their is such a village so deep in the desert as most villages would not survive for long out here."

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
The old lady shook her head, cackling aloud as she exposed her toothy grin. The woman seemed to make no fuss about the matter though she still kept true to her character. Dealing with the people at the bar she then executed the tasks typical of her affairs. Fashioning a numerous many kinds of consumables to the customers nearby. The elder was efficient with her hands, managing her job with great efficacy. After all was said and done however she gave focus to the earthling again, resting her elbows upon the bar as she glanced at him with complete attention. "Pay it no mind, boy. Money can be so distracting! We can't let it stop us from doing what we love or want to do. What we have here is not much but please be at ease." Sanbu, in the midst of this would watch as things finally unraveled. Observing as things came to a close whilst various figures present proceeded to move on to but another matter entirely. He too followed the nature of the environment, going along with things in an authentic manner. The Fortuneteller Desert was a place in which anything and everything could happen but at times it felt like rather dull. To make things new and interesting would require a great effort on Sanbu's part. A shifting of the pace, an adoption of a different sentiment entirely. To reincorporate himself in a new fashion entirely would be a task in and of itself but the Majin gave the challenge a shot anyways. Sanbu nodded at the human, smiling if only by a minimal degree. "Well it is no difficulty, my teachings naturally lead me to such behavior. Well met Renuldo, company is good for us all I trust. Walking along a path by one's lonesome seems a jaunt too lonely to trod if ever. I am most pleased." The Majin motioned quickly for the table. Placing a neat cloth of some kind on the table and laying it out in elegant display. It was ceremonial, elaborate in design. It sported a golden hue with black and red highlights near the edges. A large black M lay in the middle. If one were the analytical sort they could tell it was a sign denoting the Majin species. After such maneuvers were done on his part food immediately starting being placed on the table by the capable hand of an attendant. But another Majin dressed in similarly to both Sanbu and the woman. They stood at around four feet tall, their complexion was yellow as their features gave one the impression that they were a child. Bowls, plates and cups galore. They were all full but their content was rather strange... Stones lay flatly in each container. Sanbu gazed upon the man, grinning at the individual as he decided to make use of the power of speech again for once. "A martial artist are you? Honorable thing that is, though this village is not mine. Just a place popular to Majin of my sort from what I recall. My kind don't die easily even in the harshest of conditions, we're all trained combatants to some degree here." With a more lively tone to his voice, the Majin spoke to the man on but another topic. Hoping to progress the dialogue to a place in which he could entertain the human more efficiently. "Now. I know this food does not appear to look so appealing for the time being, but please. Tell me what you desire to eat and I may make it appear before your eyes. Allow me to demonstrate, it's easier this way." Sanbu pointed at at the various containers near his person, through his fingers shot vibrant pink beams. Transforming the stones into actual solid and liquid food of which stood a plentiful amount of sashimi and sake. He smiled, making use of chopsticks to carefully pick up some of the sashimi before staring at Renuldo with an invested glance. "So, any suggestions?" TAGS: Reno Additional Note:

To say he was puzzled at the fact they were offering him a place sleep and food for nothing would be a understatement. Even if they had plenty to spare it was still strange, as money could help them get more for their quint little village. Still she was so insistent about it he could only drop the subject about payment, his hand no longer going for his wallet as stared puzzled. Still it would be rude to keep offering payment after they had gone so far out of the way for a guest, his eyes turning back to the one in front of him.
"Well meeting others every now and then is a good thing as it keeps you centered. But ill admit that much of the time I prefer to be alone rather then dealing with a all the noise that towns and cities create. In fact its only recently that I been coming back to experience the city and found that company in small does is quite nice, well most of the time anyways.
He replied gently as he tilted his head ever so slightly forward so that he could watch Sanbu set the table, his watching for any clue on the mans customs. He had more the once upset someone for not knowing some custom on how to eat at a table, but he did not think he was gonna have any trouble here. He could probably eat with his feet and this people would just think it was a normal day, not that he was gonna test it. If he was puzzled on why the food was free he must have looked absolutely confused at plates and cups brought forward for them. For a moment he thought that just must be what they ate, a good reason why they would be willing to hand it out so easily as stones where everywhere in the desert. He was about to decline the dinner when he recalled that he smelled real food when he had entered building, his eyes going to the other tables saw a few snacks and entrees of food on them.
"It can be honorable but I have seen those in this profession that have taken advantage of their strengths to abuse others. I have on more then one occasion used my strength to my advantage but never to be pointlessly cruel. I see most humans are.....fragile and life here would be quite tough. Although there are some villages in places like this with humans. errr whats with the stone?"
He replied before moving onto the question bugging him. He knew he was missing something by just how nonchalant everyone at inn was but could not figure out just what he was missing. It was not until Sanbu had turned the rock into food that it finally all made sense to him form the lack of a price for the food and just why they could do so well out here. With a easy source of food and their naturally strong bodies it finally made sense just how the village was thriving or at the least in no danger of being swallowed up by the sands.
"That...is amazing. Is that also something just your race can do or can that be learned?

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
Sanbu listened ever so carefully to the words which the human spoke. It was refreshing, the Majin had too much of the same thing where he was from. To change his environment or at least engage with a circumstance in an unorthodox manner was something he wished to do desperately. While it would be a bold choice on his part to make certain assumptions he still felt it necessary. Matters were getting interesting and he could only wonder if this man knew a capable library of information. To bear such a noticeable power-level and grace these strange lands was telling enough. The curiosity of Sanbu was naturally aroused grace to the stranger's arrival. The Majin smiled at Reno, offering his own commentary given a proper opportunity in the dialogue. "Fair response, perhaps I have come to have a change of heart in place of that sentiment. Time spent alone seems appealing but it grows to be forever boring to me. I can always be by myself but rarely am I with others. Solitude, I fear it. However I know what you mean and your feeling is shared. The urban setting gives me a dissonant heart. Company, if only in smaller groups definitely is something worth one's while. I am unfortunately not armed with that opportunity often if ever. This gathering you see before you is a rare one, we tend to migrate quite often. Neither do we usually move as a group, this is more so a meeting for the purposes of trade and whatnot." The Majin took great pleasure in seeing the look of confusion on the figure's face. The stones which were laid about on the table did not immediately suggest what was about to happen. Naturally, he could not blame the individual for their intrigue given that detail. In truth Sanbu had wanted to inspire some kind of interest in his display, minimal as it was in comparison to what was at his disposal however. Instead of outright explaining matters he simply let the task perform itself. Taking but a few moments for pause before speaking again.
"Yes, I suppose that is an abuse of power however I have made my peace with that fact. The only means to which I think this problem can be remedied is getting stronger as well. This world of ours is unfair and the weak will inevitably be the primary victims. I believe the only thing we can do is become as strong as we can to somehow obtain a fraction of what this world has to offer. Nature knows no other measure, or at least that's what I believe...."
Before Sanbu could continue eating, Reno's remark caught him terribly off-guard. It was a question the Majin should have expected but one he had not considered before granted his strange environment. Sanbu grinned momentarily, stopping once again from taking another bite from the food he had made for himself. He shook his head all the while. "This is magic that anyone can learn. We are just more apt for this kind of practice than some other species but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to learn this technique. The limitations of this ability are up to the self. Making food is a simple feat but transmuting something into a complex object is a fairly difficult task." TAGS: Reno Additional Note:

Listening with rapt attention Reno wondered if he could learn more advanced forms of his ki swords, the thought of adding magical energy to the blade gave quite a few possibility in battle. Mulling it over a moment he nods his head in acknowledgement to his words, his hand coming to chin as he thought of the many uses it have. Perhaps he could also help Aurora if he too knew just how to use magic like this, his general lack of information on the subject made it hard for him to teach her anything worthwhile. Plus not having to buy food would be a nice bonus and if he could also do tea on demand what was not to like about it.
"Hmmm well someone is always gonna be unhappy even if things are settled without violence but I agree with you. But to change the subject just what does one need to do to gain the ability to use magic? Its not very common among most earthlings I have met or at least none of the ones I have yet have magical powers. Is there a way to gain it on your own or do you need something to trigger it?
He replied, his yes looking down as he tired to think of any information he could on the subject but regretfully drew a blank. It seemed this was another thing earthlings were not know to be good at normally making his envy grow further, a growing frustration to the man. Humans had strange technology but were behind in more of the modern advancements like space travel the such. It was not like they could not go into space but for the most part choose not to go into space, the lack of desire made the supply of ships a scarcity. Coupled with the lack of natural fighting ability and what seemed to him a lack of special ability like magic he really wondered why no one had taken over yet. His order might be a exception but they were to few to make a difference, their isolation not helping the matter at all.
Realizing he was getting off track he decided to change his train of thought as he lifted his hands in front of him to create his ki sword to show Sanbu, his red ki building in front of him similar to a attack before taking the shape of a sword. Taking great effort to do it slowly so that Sanbu can watch the blade slowly took on a more solid form resembling his signature sword, the silver black looking no different the a real sword even down to its weight. The blade would still emit a energy signal being made of pure energy rather a magically crafted item, the blade pulsing similar to his own heartbeat. Lifted it up by the blade he allows Sanbu to take it if he so wishes too, the blade letting off a dim red light hinting to its real nature.
"My own masters had learned to create their weapon form their own ki but in the end it is not a real sword. It requires me to keep concentration on the blade or it will slowly fall apart on its own. It does have its own weight however so it can be used in ways a normal ki blade cannot but at the same time has a few of a swords normal weakness's. Since its made up of our own ki we also find it very easy to empower it further allowing use to create some truly devastating strikes and since its built with our ki it grows stronger with us. No needing to worry if your blade is to weak to cut your opponent since if their strong enough to break it then their stronger enough to beat you anyways."
He explained, his eyes watching his own work in order to prevent mistakes in its creation. It would be beyond embarrassing to show him a misshapen sword or the like, or even worse a sword that could be easily broken. This was one of his skills he took pride in and had practiced so he could keep the blade up even when he was asleep. Still he wondered just what these strange beings could further teach him in order to enhance the blade even further, but even if it turned out that did not have the ability the exchange would at least be interesting for sure.

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
Softly and slowly did he consume the meals which lay before him. He was hungry but the desire to eat would soon die if he gave into his cravings too rapidly. Sanbu was tender for any opportunity to savor his food. He had come to his senses now and without such a burning desire for nourishment he could stave off his wants with more grace. Etiquette needed to be maintained at all costs, it was simply typical and becoming of a person from his background. The Majin made sure to hear Reno thoroughly. It was not in his best interest to skip something and miss a crucial detail entirely. After all was said and done he needed. "Right. Swell that you could see where I was coming from." The earthling's rapid change in topic caught him off guard. Though he assumed some manner of conversation would have come of his display of magic he had not imagined it to have happened this quickly. His tone became more driven as he practiced a more serious manner of speaking. His words were still playful all the same however. "Above all other requirements for magical ability one needs an open mind above all. It is not a skill in the traditional sense, some say it's best felt than actually explained. Your observation's a correct one, earthlings don't appear to be the most apt for magic." In hushed tones the Majin would sigh to himself. Shaking his head as he tried to think of what to say granted the flow of his previous dialogue. He set down his food for a short while, bringing his hands together as he thought over the matter briefly. "Some trigger their magical prowess while others acquire it through training and possibly tutelage. I can't think of a specific trigger exactly, no. I either absorbed what I've understood or I was taught or had trained for it specifically. Certain species are innately disposed to the arcane arts, the Majin of which I am are one of these species." The man shrugged, going back to what he was eating for now at least. It seemed that words weren't necessary for now and so he would not force things to be. Before Sanbu was too preoccupied with his usual habits a most unusual sight presented itself before him. A blade that shone a passionate red color, fashioned merely from ki alone. The blade took a more concrete form soon enough, Sanbu stared hesitantly at the sword as it did so. Reaching his hand out to the blade as if to suggest he was going to grab it before retracting his hand outright. He felt weird about the matter and did not want to lose sight of what was being shown before him. The Majin could simply put two and two together without much difficulty, sensing ki made the task pretty easy. Sanbu glanced at Reno, smiling at the man as he came to once again listen. He desired not to talk simply for the sake of it. He hoped to get something across even if it did mean being imprecise with his timing. "Is that so? My, that sounds like quite the experience. The chance to learn under such unique circumstances... What I would give to return to those days I have come to leave behind, how I miss those memories. This blade of yours, it's rather intriguing and I can comprehend your fascination for the domain of magic. The versatility it provides is unlike anything I've seen elsewhere, the possibilities are nigh endless. I do not see any fault with this blade you possess, it is limited by the wielder and solely that alone in my eyes. I trust myself to no blade but perhaps that sword of yours is a little different in that regard." TAGS: Reno Additional Note:

Not one to waste food he finally started to test his , his curiosity on how magical food would taste driving him to take a bit of each and savor them. It was quite good but the food was not of his normal diet so he had no way to compare it to the original, his days at the temple had given him quite the strict diet. Still since leaving he had gotten to know a lot of new foods and drinks in his travels. This food without a doubt was just as good even if they did not taste like the original item, his hands grabbing bite after bite. Making sure to listen as he worked on his food he ran the words though his heads on magic, his mind wondering just how he was gonna learn it or at least learn if he could. For all he knew he might have no talent for it, a turn of events that would be quite a killjoy in his opinion. Still he silently listening to the man as he nodded at the correct times to make sure the man knew he was still listening and not just chowing down the food.
Even after handing the man the sword he never stopped listening to the man and much to Reno's pleasure the man instantly knew what he was looking at, his words of praise of his craft making Reno feel more then a little giddy. He knew better then to let it go to his head but he could never help himself when it came to combat or swords themselves. Perhaps that is why he had gotten along with the Saiyans he had stayed with for awhile now that he thought of it, still these where thoughts for another time and not while he was a guest. Letting go of his ki he finally let the blade slowly break apart into the air, the threats of ki slow vanishing into the air in wisps of red ki.
"Like anything it is just a tool and still requires training to use. Like your fists their are things that its good at and things it is bad at, still I would like to think my abilities with these blades far outweigh the bad. Were are trained day and night at the temple to be able to keep these blades form falling apart even if knocked out or sleeping, its almost harder to make it fall apart then to keep it all together anymore. Now that I think about it I have nearly asked all the questions have I not? Surely you must have a few of your own to ask? I will try to respond to the best of my ability, but I am fairly new to the outside world and the city life."
He replied finally after a long moment of silence on his part, his mind trying to find a suitable response to the Majins appraisal of his blade. Still it would be rude to now allow him some of his own questions, this was after all to trade information right? Plus his questions might also give him some insight on what they liked or wanted, a good thing to know in case he ran into any more of these strange creatures.

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
To consume, distinctly not with matters pertaining to alcohol or intoxicants but provisions in the general sense. In the non-specific manner one might hope to nourish themselves physically but in a more metaphorical light there was obviously more than met the eye here. Eating could only be so satisfying until it became a chore if not just excessive. It was enjoyable and a means to which people could enjoy a specific setting or event and Sanbu had come to admire it dearly. The activity of eating was never done really for the purpose of being physically fulfilled on his part however but it did leave the Majin nourished all the same. His hunger was a topic he could go at length about but it seemed that but another topic of reflection was coming his way. A simple dialogue concerning subject matter that was not all that severe. In the eyes of the Majin it was refreshing for a change granted all the conversations he had in the past, near or far. Whether it was troubling information or otherwise it did not make much of a difference to him. It honestly was just not in his favor to pursue things in the manner he had previously if he were to entertain new people in his life. There was gravity to certain truths he enjoyed bearing witness towards and soon enough it was obvious to Sanbu that he could not keep going on this way. It did not serve him well nor did it bring about any change worth holding onto.
The words Reno spoke to him melted into his memory like wax did a candle. Slowly would the words Sanbu heard start to pierce him, it was not exactly sudden but gradual. Even after the man finished his piece he still took a while to process the words he had come to hear. According to Sanbu a dialogue did not just end when once closed their mouth. At times he had heard the most spoken to him with mouths closed than open, and so at last he spoke his part in this exchange.
"This much I understand, yes. The blade, it grows. I am sure you comprehend. A temple... Oh how alluring that sounds right about now, how I have let that delicate past pass me by. Once, some time ago I had lived in a monastery. While I may not trust the concept of a fixed weapon the dedication one ought to have had must have great I can only begin to imagine. There is something noble in that, I am afraid I cannot follow that method however according to my personal views. Majin of my kind, we know nothing but undefined armament lacking true permanence of shape or size."
Sanbu's eyebrows naturally fell into a frown before relaxing shortly thereafter. He nearly broke out into complete laughter as he returned to some semblance of composure. "I.... I do not know what questions I ought ask you. I was not really prepared for that kind of angle. The city-life, this world beyond the world of which I knew. What am I to say really? I guess I should start with something abstract or maybe straightforward? Oh well... Do you believe in peace or elseways? Must we maintain violence in our lives for us to have some kind of order? I have not seen a lot of what the galaxy has to offer but it seems to me that we inherently need conflict if we are to establish some measure of an equilibrium." TAGS: Reno Additional Note:

Realizing that Sanbu was in heavy thought Reno took a few more bits of food, his intention to buy him some more time to think of his his reply. The man seemed to be the type to overthink things or perhaps he himself was one to think far to little about things? One could never tell what was worse and form his personal experience both types had strengths that they could use to overcome adversity and both had weakness's that could drag them down. However in a place like this he knew it was a good thing to think before speaking and he welcomed the change of pace.
The man lived at a temple at one time? He doubted it was quite the same as his though, and perhaps that was the source of his own strange behavior. Rather then train a swordsmen the temple were he was trained at was set on creating the perfect blade, a sword in the shape of a man loyal to its owner. Most temples he had seen taught enlightenment or some measure of peace that was absent form his own, a fact that made him worry that he might have it all wrong. His eyes looking at the man across form him as he waited for him to finish, the man's sudden silence catching him off guard. The man's next question threw him for a moment, his eyes looking down at the table as he let it sink in.
Was violence needed? The normal reply for people he knew was them all swearing that it was unneeded but his past taught him otherwise, his life had always been filled with such violence form a young age. Form the fight to make it to the next day to attacking bandits for money or even taking money to kill, the last one leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. At the time he took the contract he thought nothing of it but recent changes to those around him made some small amount of changes to his opinion. Taking a moment to roll over the question again he finally nodded before looking at Sanbu again, his eyes certain of his choice.
"Yes conflict is needed and not just with people. Even the animals and plants in the forest cannot survive without conflict, their ecosystem failing when one group or another weakens to far. If their are two many plants they kill each other for the sun, their roots absorbing all the nutrients in the soil till they all start to die. If their are to many herbivores they eat all the plants and starve themselves, their numbers devastating not only to themselves but the plants as well. Carnivores will die off when they eat all their herbivores, their bodies feeding the next cycle. As such even in nature conflict is needed but what of people? Many would argue that surely we are better then that, a creature that choose to avoid such pitfalls?" He said, his eyes still sure of his choice as he stared at Sanbu directly. He knew this was perhaps a little more philosophical then he was use to but really had no other way to explain his thoughts on the matter.
"Even in society their is violence and contests of strength, form a benevolent king to a mad tyrant they all use some form of violence to achieve their ends. A mad tyrant ruthlessly destroys his enemies as a warning to prevent further death, their strength is used to keep those form deviating form the design they set for them. A kind king or ruling body of the people? They too use their strength to keep the criminals at bay, the ones that disobey their laws made by themselves. Police, warriors, and soldiers are used by both evil and good to enforce their own ideals. Its sad but even if your a truly peaceful people are a target for those who are not, a plant waiting to be eaten by the herbivore, or the herbivore waiting to be eaten by the carnivore. Even if everyone was peaceful their is still only so much resources to around and at some point one will be forced with a choice. To steal the food his family needs or to allow his family to starve for another, personally there are few that would allow their families die for another."
Said Reno with a sigh his words not sounding as good as they did in his head, the small nagging feeling that he might be spouting nonsense also worried him as he kept speaking.
"However their are times when their are those that use violence for the sake of it,a mindless need to destroy. A animal that will hunt others to kill but not to eat, a man that kills others not to enforce his rule. A mindless violence that serves no purpose,no goal and those are perhaps those I fear most. These things are not evil nor are they god, they are something outside the cycle and if I had to call them anything I would perhaps name them abominations. Mindless kindness is also bad but its a more sinister poison, a act that can leave someone without the tools to cope or survive on their own. ahh this sounds foolish aloud I am sorry for my rant"
He softly finished as he let out a long sigh, his hand resting across his mouth when he did so. His annoying habit of covering his mouth when he was uncomfortable coming out, a habit gained form always trying to hide his displeasure.

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
Sanbu so rarely ever brought a discussion to this point. The art of dining was one he was forced to learn at but an early age in his life and that practice never really left him. To show one's most proper self at a table was the right thing to do, at least in his eyes. Typically, in most circumstances he would not abide with his current behavior but he would let such notions part with him temporarily. His curiosity proved too overwhelming for him to try and suppress it. There stood a chance here to make real development in this dialogue and he did not wish to see it pass him by. Time was precious, every moment one unique and unlike the other. They could be similar but really there was never one precisely identical.
It was clear that this dialogue was one that sported atypical content for what was already an unusual series of events. He could only push on with the exchange before he felt it simply unjust of him. Gradually would things be on their way if he just let them be. The world did not speed up for anyone. In his eyes he risked doing a disservice to the forces that be by forcing a condition that was best had organically. Talking was never really that complicated anyways and yet here he was making more of a situation than need be. The Majin carefully listened to Reno's response as he tried to understand the man reasonably before giving his own reply.
His hands came to a close as they formed a steeple atop the table, he was nearly done eating anyways. His portions were just not that substantial granted the unusual depths of his digestive system. "Well.. Your answer has been very elaborate, one that I can listen to with my full attention. It is refreshing I must say. I have conversed with numerous people on this precise topic and regrettably many individuals have given me answers I cannot help but feel are either without proper explanation or done with a disingenuous motivation. Your opinion is a fair one I reckon, I just wish more people were comfortable having this kind of exchange. It is much too unfortunate to see folk go on with their lives and never ask themselves these sorts of questions."
Sanbu's eyes radiated with a certain kind of passion, one that he never often showed if ever. His smile equally reflected this much as he made it fairly obvious that he was pleased. Conversation that happened to be this philosophically charged typically never reached this point for long but now things seemed different. The pace of this dialogue was one he found stimulating especially given the kind of person who sat across from his on this table. This was no ordinary scenario compared to what he was used to as of recent.
"It is reassuring to know that there are people who see things in this manner, not to say that is either correct or incorrect. Still, it seems much too important for this kind of discourse to happen. The way topics get disregarded or ignored, its frightening. Nothing should be set aside and I feel as if you see it too. Such needless disharmony apparent in so my civilizations, it is troubling to me. Without these conversations I fear they will only persist. This substantial disparity of resources and power between collectives, it leaves me feeling very torn as I see these notions clash terribly. Peace, I don't think it attainable nor a realistic desire to have. I think all we can do is become as capable as we can so we find ourselves not on the receiving end of this unrelenting cycle."
The Majin continued to hear the man speak but not just to him but through him. These words were his to hear but they spoke to a larger audience from what he gathered. <If only more were here to listen and converse, to have these ideas remain so far from one another is such a tragedy. We cannot keep going on like this I fear, the world is too large for it to be so apart. What of friends, allies, lovers? I shan't continue going along this route alone, this is no way to live. Not for long at least.> Sanbu sighed, not for the sake of fatigue but digestion. It was not the food that got him but the words he was actively consuming.
"I understand your point Reno. Power, and the ability to wield it. It is tricky. Those with mindless violence I can tolerate, but those who are not cautious with their kindness bring me more displeasure. That poison you speak of, it is much too alive in this day and age and I think we bear witness to this very problem today." TAGS: Reno Additional Note:
