Barren cold, frozen waters of lakes and trees so stiff they barely moved in the wind. It was a deep cold, and when the Shinjin arrived, he felt himself shiver unintentionally. He pulled his jacket closer, bundling himself up before waving his hand to create flames. The fire blazing brightly in each hand before coursing up his body and seeming to become a sort of shield around him. After a brief moment, the shield completely engulfed his body and he felt his temperature going up.
It didn't take long before the Shinjin had fully recovered and looked about himself. He had arrived with Kai Kai upon this world, a planet known as Earth and despite its bland appearance held many powerful people upon it. He had only come to understand why it held so many strong powers, only interested to learn as to why. He had only just woken recently and now he was seeking answers. In truth, he couldn't really care less about who imprisoned him at this time. He knew it had been the shinjin, but it was long in the past and he was far to relaxed to care.
After he has assessed that he wasn't in immediate danger, the Shinjin took out a cigarette before lighting it. It took a few moments but in the end he managed to get it going and soon he was staring out over the horizon watching from the distance the workings of man. It wasn't that he had amazing eye sight, but rather he was using his ki sense along with a bit of magic to watch cars and earthlings drive about in the distance. He had come to investigate, but he didn't really know where to start. He was new to this era, and things had changed a lot since his time. But he didn't mind it so badly that he thought actively on what he had missed, only that it would seem awkward for him to seek work now. He was a shinjin after all, but he still didn't want to sit idle for to long. Even a 'god' needed something to do.

The scouter beeped once more and Aurora had to physically resist ripping it from her head and crushing the tiny machine in her hands. That was the third time in as many days that it had alerted her to the presence of something powerful nearby, and also disrupted her meditation. She was getting so close, and yet every time she was about to finally grasp onto the... the... the something that could help her Master her Unleashed form, the machine would beep and she would invariably go to check out and analyse what it was seeing. Sighing, her ruby red eyes open as she assesses the numbers displayed upon the screen. One hundred and eighty five thousand, huh...? Certainly very impressive. Nowhere near the level that the bug, Chromo, had been, but she was willing to bet anything that whoever this signature was, they had yet to truly power up. For a moment she wondered why every single powerful being in the galaxy needed transformations to become stronger and wasn't simply strong that way all the time, but that was neither here nor there and she had far more pressing matters to attend to than contemplating a rather silly aspect of the universe.
Currently she had been meditating upside down in a tree in her Unleashed form, blue wings cocooning herself to try and block out any distractions. She'd seen it in one of those motion picture things the humans were always going on about, and figured it was worth a shot. Surprisingly, it had actually helped until the scouter alerted her once more. With a sigh the Arcosian drops from the tree and to the ground, wings flaring out as she lands before straightening again. Tracking the power level signature's direction, she begins to float into the sky before halting. Given a few moments of deliberation, she instead begins to simultaneously shrink and grow. Her wings recede back into her form as her bio armour detaches itself from her core implements and her tails fuse together once more, yet Aurora's body increases in size and muscle mass as she enters her (less frequently used) Brute form. Cracking her neck, she flexes and stretches her muscles for a few seconds. It had been a rather long while since she had entered this form instead of skipping straight to her far more powerful versions, but she would prefer to meet whoever this was on equal footing.
Floating into the sky once more, the Arcosian tilts her body and quickly makes her way towards the signature. Surprisingly, they were somewhat of a ways away from the base of Mt. Frappe, only confirming her suspicions that whoever this was they were indeed strong. Soaring through the sky, she quickly encountered the being that she was after. Even without her scanner's rather incessant and urgent pings that she eventually needed to turn off, she could tell which one it was simply due to to... well, they were the only one around. Touching down a little ways away from the... she was going to guess earthling, perhaps with a sort of sheep descent judging by the hair and horns, Aurora makes her way over to him. The ground shakes lightly at the size of her, but the Arcosian was willing to be that whoever this way, they wouldn't be put off by a mere thing such as size. She simply didn't like being so completely outclassed. It reminded her of Brench, and that was a time she was soon coming to want to forget almost entirely.
"Hello." She starts, crossing tree trunk like arms and staring down at the supposed Earthling. Her voice was distorted from the bio gem covering her mouth. "Apologies if i sound rude, but who are you? And I'd like to know your business around the mountain. There often aren't any visitors with strength like yours." No point in beating around the bush, and it wasn't like she wanted to fight.
Aurora is in her Brute form (x2), boosting her PL to 208,000!

Dorei wasn't focused on someone approaching from a different angle, so when someone spoke up, the Shinjin jumped slightly before looking over his shoulder. He hadn't expected to see an Arcosian here of all places, which made him wonder what was up with this planet even more. It was tall, its voice distorted by its apparent mask and was bulky. Its power was over his own and he simply looked it up then down before shrugging at its question.
"I suppose I was curious why all this strong individuals had come here. In truth it doesn't seem to interesting."
Dorei pointed toward the south with his hand holding his cigarette.
"I was just curious how this all played together. But seems to me its just a planet everyone likes to gather."
He didn't know what was going on, he had just woke up after all and his current knowledge only stretched to what he had seen immediately.
"But my name is Dorei."
He kept his back turned as he went to take another puff only to find out when he had pointed the wind had blown out his cig. The Shinjin sighing as he went to light it again. He was relaxed in his stance, just simply enjoying the view as he normally would. His silver eyes glancing over the Arcosian in question.
"What about you hm? You lot still working for that fleet? This one of the planets you own?"
Dorei usually assumed the Arcosian's were all part of the fleet, easier that way for him to simply accept that instead of assuming otherwise. As he looked the Arcosian over, he wondered what form they were in. He was never good with their transformations, only assuming they had a few of them.
"As for why I am in the mountains specifically, I just happened to arrive here. Not good at teleportation yet. Never really had a reason to use it besides just getting somewhere."
Dorei said with a shrug, taking the time to wipe the snow from a rock before drying it off with some fire magic. Once the rock was safe to sit upon, he would do so. Lazily lounging forward as he waited for the Arcosian to speak.

A small sigh of relief leaves Aurora, sounding like rattling as it was translated through the bio gem that covered her mouth. It seemed that the powerful.. alien of some sort wasn't looking for a fight, something she was decidedly thankful for. The Arcosian wasn't sure she could win a fight against someone as strong as him, and she had little trouble admitting that. She had encountered strength beyond herself before, a multitude of times in fact, and if anything... she was happy to note that the difference between someone that was objectively stronger than even Yanwang and herself was a lot slimmer than it had been when she first met the ogre child. Aurora's arms uncross and hang by her sides as the white haired being continued to talk. "Ah, I will admit that I understand where you are coming from perfectly." She chuckles to him, looking around at the planet she had come to know and care for. "Earth really doesn't look like much. Hell, when I first got here I had just planned on using it as a base of operations. I figured it was nothing more than a nothing planet filled with nobodies but..." Her eyes crinkle, and its obvious that behind her mask she is smiling, albeit very slightly. "It turns out I was wrong."
"If I were to hazard a guess as to the general lure of Earth... I suppose it'd be the dragon balls. They would lure plenty of strong beings here, and from all of my experiences, the strong tend to gravitate towards the strong. Thus, more powerful beings on the planet." There was more truth and merit to her words than even Aurora had anticipated. All those random, chance encounters in forests, wastelands, cities and the like with people who stood out from the general masses of the planet. It as far too much and far too frequent for there to not be some sort of extra reason behind it. Her current theory was that power did literally have a sort of gravitational pull, although the Arcosian had yet to put any effort into determining whether or not that was true. She watched as the man played with a cigarette, a rather curious drug Aurora had admittedly been curious about as a potential painkiller. Unfortunately, one try had been enough for her body to decide that it was decidedly not having it, and she hadn't bothered touching one again. Of course, there were still a few packs in her ship. Just in case.
"Ah, my name is Aurora, of the clan Arctos." How often has she needed to introduce herself recently, she wondered? It had to be up in the dozens by now. "And... no." Her brow furrows at the mention of the fleet. "The fleet was destroyed, and I'd appreciate not insinuating any involvement on my part with them or their actions." If she could spit she would, but as the mask made that impossible she instead just re crossed her arms and allowed her tail to thump against the ground in something approaching annoyance. It wasn't any fault upon... Dorei's part, but the very mention of the fleet was enough to spoil her mood. It was a spectre that hung over her people, its deeds at Vegeta a damning nail in the coffin for her kind's reputation throughout the galaxy. Fortunately for her, however, she didn't spend long grumbling about the fleet as Dorei shifted towards a rock and Aurora saw something she had all but given up on finding. Someone else using actual magic. The Arcosian had searched high and low for weeks before giving up. And now this random person was using it so casually?
"You can use magic?" She blurts out, form lurching forward out of... something. Surprise, or perhaps curiosity. Quickly regaining control of herself, the Arcosian shakes her head and holds out one tree trunk sized arm, palm up. A small blizzard appears out of blue light above her purple skin, before coalescing into a slowly rotating, glowing blue snowflake. "It seems we may have... opposing elements. But I've never encountered another who could use it." She couldn't help the very small amount of excited chatter that slipped past her control. If she could convince this Dorei to help teach her, Aurora might be able to grow stronger, or figure out the key to controlling her Unleashed power. She had noted his comment about teleportation, of course, but that could wait until afterwards. "I had thought that... well, that I was the only one aside from the Kami that could use magic." Not that she even knew if that was what the Kami used, or where to actually find said Kami. "So, Dorei, where are you from? Are there others that have such abilities?" She was getting ahead of herself, bu the prospect of being able to speak to a fellow practitioner of magic was far too much to pass up!

Dorei got comfortable upon his rock, listening to the arcosian speak of the fact it was probably the dragon balls that allured people to the planet. Dorei just listened as she speak, not interrupting as she went on then to introduce herself as Aurora. She then corrected him about the fact she was not with the fleet and that it had been destroyed. The Shinjin simply raised a brow at the notion, but he wasn't surprised it would fall apart eventually. After all, get a bunch of power hungry fiends together and eventually things go south. Dorei had also apparently given her reason to be surprised by the fact he could use magic. She too could use it, but then she proclaimed his element was different to which the shinjin raised a brow. Taking his cig into his teeth, the Shinjin held up his hands before producing a chair, a simple wooden one from thin air. "Lady I ain't got no element. I AM the element."With that he kicked the chair so it spun while his free hand held it in place. A simple demonstration that it was real, the chair spinning on the spot before he stopped it and set it down so Aurora could sit. "I'm a Shinjin, a god. I don't have one element. I can create, destroy, produce and shift the elements as I see fit."Perhaps that sounded arrogant, but when he had reason to be, he didn't see any reason to not be proud. He got comfortable again as he looked Aurora up and down once more. "As for others like myself? Aye, there are a few. But I doubt any of them would be interested in this place. I am from the other world originally. But I got kicked out when they saw my horns. Thought I was a demon, that is until I got free of demon realm. Long story short, I'm a Shinjin. A god of other world or the land of the dead. blah blah."Dorei spoke the last bit dismissively, waving it off as he looked out over the horizon once more. He was surprised then that the universe hadn't gone to shit without some galactic power hanging over them. He didn't know who was doing what, but it sure as shit was dull around here. "So, the fleets fallen to pieces. Well least they wont be a problem anymore... So this dragon balls. They some kind of object? Must be pretty strong to have all manner of kids running around killin each other for em."Dorei rubbed his chin, wondering where he was going to find a job now them. A large portion of his income had come from big powers like that... If the fleet was gone where would he find a new contractor? Perhaps if he started looking for new buyers, he might get a few takers. His cigarette had nearly gone out by the time he took another puff, that lazy look returning to his eyes as he thought of all the bullshit he was going to have to go through just to get back on the market.

Aurora squashed the minor annoyance that the being before her's tone created, instead deciding to marvel at his magical ability. She had merely been... well, she supposed gifted was the proper term for her magic. Or perhaps unlocked? Despite multiple hours of meditation upon that exact subject the Arcosian was no closer to a definite answer when it came to exactly what the Mountain's Heart had done for (or perhaps to) her, but it wasn't something she was exactly going to complain about. Her magic had only allowed her to freely tap in to something most of her species had only ever gained access to in life or death situations. Glancing towards the chair offered to her, Aurora delicately went to sit on the proffered, magical construct, not entirely certain that such a thing could support the weight of her enlarged form. Gently setting herself down, her brow raises in surprise as she noted the lack of creaking or give that she expected from the chair. It seemed that the magic of Dorei extended further than simple creation, or perhaps he had simply accounted for such a thing when conjuring the seat. Her tail wraps around the base of the chair as she turns her attention back towards the white haired man.
"A... god." She says, somewhat unbelieving the Shinjin's words. Half of her brow lowers to approximate that expression of disbelief that she sometimes saw earthlings using. She had, of course, heard of Shinjin during her time on Arcose, but there simply wasn't much known about them, and her people had often refused to accept the idea that these beings, while powerful, were the gods they claimed to be and not simply another alien race from a place that was a little more out of the way than the majority of other races. "Right." She tacks on, even as she watches him look her up and down, hoping that he wouldn't comment on her gem like everyone else did. Fortunately that didn't seem to be the case for once, and instead she was gifted with information she could actually use. Listening intently to him speak, the Arcosian made sure to do her best to remember what he was saying. It seemed that Shinjins had a culture of their own, and those that were born with horns, or at least horns like his, were banished in a way, seemingly to the demon realm.
Said realm wasn't something Aurora knew much about beyond its existence, granted, but the fact that he had managed to escape it was certainly of note. Perhaps if he were able to leave, she might be able to enter? Certainly an idea to note and research another time, as right now Dorei had continued to talk. "The dragon balls are..." What was the best way for Aurora to put this? Her own personal distaste for them was trying to get in the way, but she should probably strive for neutrality in this situation. "Seven orbs that can be found on earth, which, when gathered and put together, summon the... I believe the spirit of earth? I'm not actually too sure myself, as there is very little information on that particular area. From what I do know, the spirit takes after the shape of a Dragon, and will grant a single wish that seemingly has very little limit to its scope. It can make one immortal, change their species, even... even bring back the dead." Shaking her head, the Arcosian leans back in her seat. "I presume you're intelligent enough to see why that may be an enticing prospect to a number of beings in the universe." Sighing, a red eye travels over towards Dorei. "I presume you're new to this world, then?"

Dorei listened to the arcosian explain the dragon balls, explaining they could grant wishes of near limitless potential and with that Dorei knew immediately how dangerous they were. The shinjin said nothing as for the first time in a long time, a look of frustration went across the shinjin's face. So mortal kind had truly come up with a set of magic orbs that could grant any wish and they were being fought over right now. Dorei's eyes lit up for a moment as he stared into the horizon, anger bubbling in his gut yet he kept it in check. His brethren were truly incompetent in keeping the mortal kind in check. "I see... So someone out there had this grand idea to create seven objects that when brought together could bring total destruction to the universe... be it directly or by being given to a tyrant... Or the prospect that it would draw killers to this world..."Dorei placed a hand to his forehead, his frustrations only building the more he thought about it. "You... have got to be kidding me."Dorei kept his gaze fixed upon his palm as he truly contemplated this ludicous idea. That the people who had this idea must truly be a child or someone with the brain with just a few working cells. After a few moments of this, he lowered his hand to cover his mouth as he returned his gaze to the horizon. In truth he didn't know why he even cared, he wasn't a full on Shinjin... if anything he would just be looking like an idiot taking on the duty to eradicate this orbs from existence... yet despite this he couldn't help but feel that it was his responsibility. Like he had let something important slip and this was the cause. He knew deep down he wasn't at fault but it still bothered him. "So this orbs... They have a maker? ... and how does one deactivate the orbs? Can we just break them?"Dorei asked, his interest peaked now, as he returned his gaze to Aurora. "If I... removed the maker. Would the orbs disappear?"Dorei was cautious to ask this because if the person knew about them, they might know the maker of them and his question was... dangerous. He didn't fear the arcosian, but rather didn't want to lose the chance to learn more. Fury was in his chest, anger at the stupidity of this orbs and he wanted to kill their maker... free of charge now. A limitless power for making wishes, and it was just left laying around? No one bothered to lock them away or better yet just out right not make them. The more Dorei thought about it the more angry he got! But he had to stop himself, letting out a long drawn out sigh as he tried to push all that boiling rage deep down. His bored gaze returning as let the blood lust in him disappear. He couldn't just kill the maker right now, so it wasn't worth getting angry about.

Aurora's head tilts as Dorei grew visibly more agitated, the movement seeing far sharper and more dangerous than usual thanks to her enlarged horns and increased muscle mass. She had always had trouble when it came to the expressions of non-arcrosians, but now it seemed that she was finally beginning to understand what they were feeling, perhaps even read them. She saw the small outburst coming before he even opened his mouth, although she was still surprised at exactly why he was angry. "While I share your distaste for the dragon balls," She begins crossing one amazonian thigh over the other, "I feel I need to clarify that while the dragon balls do certainly attract all sorts of powerful beings, the wishes that can be made do not have the scope or power behind them to destroy the universe, nor do they get multiple wishes. Just one, capable of a variety of impossible acts, and then the dragon balls scatter to the corners of the world once more for others to find and repeat the process." Her red eyes bore into Dorei, searching him. This was her first (and maybe even her only) time meeting a Shinjin, so she needed to analyse anything she could.
Her brow raises as she continues to talk, this time addressing her directly with a multitude of questions that Aurora herself had spent far too much time contemplating, to... disappointing results, she supposed was the answer. "Yes and no. The dragon balls are in fact linked to two makers, and without one the power of the balls is inaccessible. The first maker is this, or rather is the, spirit of Earth. A large green... I believe the locals referred to it as a Dragon, hence the name I suppose. From what inscriptions I have managed to uncover, it takes the form of a large serpent, and answers to the name of... well, there are a multitude of different names for it, but from close sources I have been in contact with, the most common of them is Shenron. He is the one that actually grants the wishes." She had to admit, Aurora was taking no small amount of pleasure at being able to finally tell someone else other than herself about all the time and research she had put into the subject of the dragon balls. "They are also linked to the other being, the... guardian of the planet. They are recognised as the Kami, a godly figure."
"My information is less robust when it comes to the Kami. They are said to live on a platform in the sky, and indeed I know they exist, yet have so far been unable to find them. Either way, they are the key that unlocks the door to the dragon balls, alongside acting as the general protector of earth and its inhabitants." From there her eyes narrow towards Dorei, a fist clenching as ice begins to coat her skin for a moment. "I feel that I should inform you that while I myself am against the idea of a crutch such as the dragon balls, I also look down upon the very idea of murdering an innocent being such as the Kami just to remove the possibility of a person of ill repute getting their hands upon the dragon balls." Was it a good idea to antagonise such a powerful being? No, but Aurora wasn't exactly afraid. This was her territory, and for now she was able to make it seem like she was stronger than him. "But, for the sake of answering your question, I suspect the answer is yes to both. There are... hints, upon my home planet of Arcose. We, alongside Vegeta, lack any guardian or dragon balls, and yet they seem to be found frequently throughout naturally inhabited planets. I don't know anything beyond that, but my own person theory is that when my people discovered the existence of a being such as a Kami, someone who they saw as lording over them... well, they killed them. Of course, this is just a theory. If you want to know more, i suggest actually travelling to said planets."

Dorei simply listened to the arcosian speak, talking about the dragon balls along with their limits. Apparently they couldn't do something completely outrages like destroy the universe, but they still held power to create unnatural things such as immortal beings. Dorei leaned back, a rock jetting up from the ground upon his command to be used as a rest for his elbow, his fist against his face. He was also informed of the two guardians, or two being tied to it.
So apparently they were tied to a shenron, and a Kami. If either one was destroyed, then the wishing orbs would be rendered useless. He just needed to kill one of them, and by the sounds of it the arcosian didn't like the idea. The shinjin's mouth only twitched in response as she balled her fist at him. His anger growing within his stomach that she would dare think she stood a chance against a god. Even if he had been cast down, he was still a being of a higher realm in his eyes, and this act was truly disrespectful. Dorei closed his eyes before letting out a breath, a puff of mist flowing from his mouth as he tried to keep his calm.
"Well it doesn't matter what you think about killing an innocent. However I do thank you for informing me of a balance issue. I will decide on how to work on the issue as I see fit."
With that the Shinjin looked out over the horizon, feeling the powers of several beings and wondering which one was Kami. Not only did they consider themselves 'god' of this world... they made orbs that defied the natural order established by his kind. He rather disliked that thought, and Dorei said nothing for a long time.
Dorei's power soon dipped into its reserves, a feeling of frustration building within him. He was angry, truly angry for the first time time in a long time. The area about the pair growing more tense as Dorei considered killing Aurora but it soon passed. He didn't want to kill someone who was so friendly and laid back. Dorei looked over at the Acrosian before shrugging.
"Matters little. So why are you out here in the cold? I suspect its cuz you like the cold given your earlier statement. That or you don't like people."
Dorei's question was an attempt to change the subject so they didn't fight. Despite his... killing profession, Dorei did not enjoy the act of murder on a whim. He did like killing, else he wouldn't have kept up with his job for thousands of years. Yet he wondered if this was because of his demonic nature or if he truly was broken mentally. Either way was fine for Dorei, he didn't much care either way, but some part of him wanted to go out there and slaughter the Kami for his transgressions. Yet that would have to wait, for now he was going to rest and enjoy his day.

"I believe you'll find it does matter what my thoughts on things are, especially here." Aurora's voice quickly replied. "Those that have done nothing to bother others deserve the same curtesy, and those that only try to help are the same." The words felt almost hollow upon Aurora's tongue, memories of brench flashing through her, but she shook her head to clear her mind. That was a different situation entirely. She had been fighting for the freedom of her people, and had gone a step too far. Dorei seemed to instead have little compunctions about killing, nor have the same hang ups that Aurora did about killing those that didn't deserve it. The very idea of such a thing was enough to have her narrow her eyes, although she wouldn't move from where she was seated. They sat in silence for a while, both seemingly calming themselves down as Aurora tapped into her inner well of self control and reeled herself back. A fight so close to the mountain wasn't something she wanted, as it could hurt those at the base, and would also attract even more people to her home to disturb the Arcosian from her meditation.
Looking up from her hands when Dorei speaks again, Aurora tilts her head. "You are correct, for the most part. I much prefer this planet's northern biome when compared to the southern one. Far too hot, for my tastes. As for not liking people... well. It's closer to the opposite. My species does not have the... best reputation amongst the earthlings, and my few ventures into the populated areas require a disguise if i do not wish to be publicly accused, jeered at or shamed for the actions of other Arcosians." She said it with a shrug. She could understand the feelings of the Earthlings, having been much the same about Saiyans for a long time before she learnt better. And not many earthlings were as powerful, and thus didn't have as many opportunities, as she did. Her power was born from desperation and sorrow, the results of when there were no heroes to save her. These earthlings... well. They'd always had the strongest on their side. They- no. Shaking her head, Aurora attempts to clear her thoughts before the spiralled. "There is, of course, another reason. My magic," She waves a hand, a wall of ice appearing behind her, "Was... i'm still not sure whether the proper term is gifted or unlocked, but I gained access to it after an encounter with the Mountain's inbuilt magic."

Dorei looked at the Arcosian with a look of someone wondering if they were... well dumb. The dragon balls had been made to grant the wish of someone who wished for whatever it is they wanted. If they brought the dead back, they were selfishly breaking the laws of nature and getting money from it was just greed. The maker had intentionally or unintentionally brought a thing of pure power into a realm that it shouldn't. It was a spit in the nature of things, playing upon the desires of those who hunted them. Those that hunted them had a desire within their hearts, be it good or evil... But the end result was only the same, it was granted by unnatural means.
"You... Are very naive or ill informed."
Dorei said before deciding to drop it, not wanting to grow angry about the situation. He didn't fault the Arcosian for not wanting to kill an innocent person, but to allow someone who was willingly dangling the fruits of greed and unnatural magics before others... even if it was in the right cause. It was an offense to the natural order of things.
"But I say we drop it before we end up fighting. Our opinions upon the matter are just that... opinions. There are few facts we can throw at the other without fulling knowing the cause and effect."
Dorei wasn't surprised that the Arcosian then mentioned why they stayed in this region. Not only because of the cold but because of the reputation they had. Dorei couldn't argue with that logic, he suspected it would be hard to understand such a point of view. He could not well understand the idea of having to hide his face because of his species.
"I see... I suppose it is difficult to be an Arcosian at this time."
Dorei took another puff from his cigarette as he looked down at the cliff side next to him. His eyes watching a few cars drive by and thinking about what this people might value. He didn't understand earthlings after all, their beliefs were unknown to him. He couldn't imagine it. Dorei's eyes then turning to the display of magic the Arcosian put on, and he admitted it was impressive. It would be hard to say it wasn't well done in terms of usage. She used it effortlessly, and he had to admit a level of handling like that must have taken quite a bit of practice.
"I see. That is impressive."
Dorei said as he let the cigarette rest in his mouth while he returned his gaze to the horizon. His bored expression returning as he watched the horizon.
"Not many gain any proficiency at all, and to that level is indeed well done."

Ha, what's timing? Aurora raised a brow at Dorei's words about her being ill informed, especially as she had just been the one to inform the Shinjin of the existence of the dragon balls in the first place, but as he continued talking she found herself nodding along. He was correct in saying, at least, that their opinions on the matter weren't something that deserved to have them come to blows over. Tilting her head, she leans her larger frame back into her chair. Her Cyclopsian form wasn't something she frequently spent time in, but as she sat there Aurora wondered why that was. It was certainly comfortable, and the feeling of strength within her large arms was enough to make her grin from behind her crystal mask. Of course, she made sure not to let Dorei see this. To cultivate one's image was important after all, and with a being this powerful it would be good to be on friendly terms with him. She then nodded in gratitude at his comments about her powers over ice, taking a small amount of pride at the compliment. Such things were... rare for her. Arcosian society tended to be far more brutal to its members than Earth was.
"You have my thanks." She begins, waving her hand once more to disperse the wall of ice into little more than motes of blue light. "Although I must admit that I am slightly envious of your own abilities with magic, as mine are strictly limited to the areas of cold and winter." Not that the Arcosian was complaining, of course, simply... more variety was never something that could hurt. "While it is... not ideal, my people's current standing with the Earthlings, it's not all bad." She begins, glancing back towards her mountainous home. "The ones I care about treat me differently and like an equal, and neither do I have the want, nor the inclination, to be on better terms with the majority of the Earthling populace. I have enemies out there, most notably in the Saiyan Kingdom, and I'd very much rather my location be kept as much of a secret as it possibly could be. Some of my recent actions have gained the ire of powerful beings in the galaxy, most notably the Saiyan Nashua and Konatsian Typha, and for now... I'd very much rather they not know where I am."
Almost unconsciously, Aurora brings her hand up towards her cracked and slightly sparking bio gem. Wincing in pain at the feeling of it, not to mention the flash of almost mind numbing pain that came from basic contact, she quickly retracts her hand from her damaged heart. "And you? What brings you here to Earth, Dorei?" Aurora had to admit, she was rather curious as to why such a powerful being would seemingly just be roaming about randomly across the planet.
