Dorei had been on earth for some time now, having explored the north, only to find it irritatingly cold and as such sought more warmer conditions. He sat silently currently in the forest, lots of Bamboo trees around to shade him from the sun with a cool breeze blowing. His sleeveless shirt was comfortable for this weather despite the time of year, and his multitude of scars were on full display now. He had been remembering each one as he sat with his back to a rock. His ears were alert, but his mind was somewhere else. His fingers tracing over many of them before moving on to the next.
He was glad they had healed up good however, else he might have had a rougher time with work. Slowly he leaned back against the rock before closing his eyes, thinking over all the things he had been apart of. Even as he drifted off to sleep, unknowingly falling into a slumber, he dreamed about the many jobs of the past. He spent a few minutes sleepily dreaming away, until an animal startled him out of his slumber by scurrying through the bush. The Shinjin snapping awake to look about quickly, only to find nothing of immediate importance. Slowly the Shinjin began to relax once more.
Today was hopefully gonna be another lazy day.

Some times he wondered why he wondered so far form people in his search to find a spot to train alone, a strange habit that seemed to do him little good in the end. It was a irony not lost on him as it seemed the more out of the way he went in search for seclusion the more likely someone was bound to find him, it was normally a new stranger he had never met but it was always the same. Still he had to admit a few decent friends had been made and a few had even helped him train at least a little bit, a fact that often reminded him just how much he had been slacking as of late. Still this forest was easy to get lost in as the bamboo could easily hide someone even if they were nearby, making a persons normal five senses less then useful. He hoped this would allow him some measure of privacy as he trained but he did not count on it.
Still rather then waste any more time he placed his bag on the ground before he thought of what his first session should be, his mind going over improving the basics but perhaps he could give his ki manifestations some work. He still had yet to master creating two separate blades at the same time so perhaps he should start there, the skill would also allow him to use some of the more advanced skills with one blade as well. Figuring he would start there he slowly started with some breathing exercises to clam his mind before drawing on his ki. It was only then that starting the process of forming two separate blades, a act that was much harder then it seemed as it required perfect control two separate sources of ki. Even if you wished for the blades to mold differently to create two different kinds of blade the same amount of ki was used for each of them, thus making longer blades have reach while shorter blades tended to have more ki to use to attack with.
"Alright....take a deep breath miller before gathering you ki in your hands evenly. When your energy finally is ready break it in half before forging them into the desired shape. "
He chanted to himself as he drew on his ki forcing his power level to rise, the echoing energy filling the forest and he tried to mold his power into his newly forged blades. With each moment he shaped, hardened and sharpened his ki into a pair of twin jians that both pulses with his power. Despite this he already felt that some thing was wrong, the twin blades pulsed with uneven power showing that he had failed in diving his energy evenly thus making both blades flawed. You never truly knew what the flaw would be but their always be some kind of flaw in the blade. Grunting he just let out a drawn out sigh as he started to inspect the blades in hopes of discovering the flaws this time.
"Oh this seemed to damn easy on paper"

Dorei had resigned himself to a quiet day, but it was a sudden intrusion that he realized he wasn't alone any longer. A energy was insistently pestering his senses some distance away. The Shinjin lazily rolling his head to one side as he looked in the direction of the energy source. The energy source was like someone shooting blasts but they stayed in the same spot... no it was different. He couldn't rightly figure out what was happening just from his sensing, yet it was evident something was up.
He contemplated leaving then and there, but curiosity killed the cat as they say. Slowly he rose to his feet before heading in the direction of the individual, walking through the woods leisurely before arriving to see an earthling examining twin energy blades. He had formed them in his hands apparently and he was examining them. Dorei wasn't an energy source expert or anything in that field, so he could rightly tell what he was doing.
With the grace and speed of an assassin, the Shinjin was looking over the shoulder of the earthling in a second.
"Neat trick."
Dorei said as he examined the blades himself. Duel wielding was always more difficult in any scenario, as a weapon in each hand meant less sure grips and easier slip ups. It was why the single sword style was the most common to see, as two hands upon your blade meant more strength and... he didn't know why he was thinking about all this in his head.
"Names Dorei, whats up with the glow sticks?"
He asked, taking a draw on his cigarette before blowing it at the boy's direction. He had the same lazy look he always did. Not much really got him going anymore, and that in of itself was a problem he supposed. He placed his hand upon one of his three swords as he waited to see what the earthling was up too. He didn't see any reason to pry he supposed, but energy weapons were rare for anyone to see. Especially ones formed in such clarity, as usually they were just formed as beams of uneven energy. He didn't look like much, but Dorei couldn't say many people did.

Eyes still moving up and down the blade as he searched for a flaw or even multiple flaws in the twin swords. And it was at that moment that the stranger took the opportunity to sneak up on him. Still other then his eyes twisting back to look out the corner of his eyes Reno barely reacted despite the fact his heart raced at the strangers sudden appearance. It took a lot form him not to instantly move to a defensive stance but if this stranger wanted to harm him he could have already, a fact that finally calmed his nerves a little bit.
Rather then explain it he held the blade up for the stranger to examine before allowing them to fall apart, the silver appearance of each blade shimmering for a moment before it dissolving into wisps of energy in the cool air. Making sure he movements were non threatening he turned around to his new guest as he eyes him up form down, the mans strange energy and appearance making him guess he was not a earthling. Or at least he had never heard of one that had horns like that but its not like he knew every tribe of people out there.
"I was trying to practice creating two separate blades however I just can't seem to get it right but its not a total loss I prefer one blade really. Its just controlling your energy to such a fine degree in two separate places opens the door for some good feints. Ahh names Re..Re....Renuldo Miller or Reno for short. I must say I was not expecting anyone else out this far but I guess I should not be surprised really."
He explained clearly trying to appear nonchalant but still was a bit stiff, a fact that was understandable with the fact Dorei had just gotten the drop on him. With a thoughtful look he places both of his hands together and started the process over again but this time he summoned his normal blade effortlessly, his years of training with this one blade making it as simple as breathing for him. Rather then hold it like a weapon he held it up for the man to examine, his face gaining a small smile as he tried to show off his skill at forging this blade. It was a fact that he could keep the weapon together even while he slept proving it was second nature to him.
"Here this is one I am quite skilled at making if you would like to take a look. Compared to the brittle ones I summoned before these blades this one does not posses the flaw the other two had."
He further explained before placing his fingers on his chin as stared at the man.
"If you do not mind me asking but what is one such as yourself doing out here?"

Dorei watched the blades for a bit, only for them to disappear before the man spoke more. It was clear he used his own way of manipulating energy, one that was able to form solid energy blades and probably use them just as effectively as a normal weapon. The Shinjin was impressed to a degree, but not enough to give a reaction to his showcase of a more stable energy blade. Reno was what he preferred to be called, and it was clear he was probably training.
"Sleeping... or was."
Dorei said before pulling out an unmarked pouch, then removing a cigarette from it. He kept his eyes on Reno's blade as he lit a flame at the end of his finger for the cigarette. He wondered if others held that sort of ability, to form energy weapons at will and use them. Dorei held a preference for physical blades, as he could just make more if he wanted to with his magic. A quick wave of his hand put the fire out as he puffed the smoke into the air, nose scrunching as he wondered just what this young man had to offer.
"Names Dorei, a god from otherworld. Frankly I am only here to get away from Otherworld for a while. Land of the dead ain't exactly the most fun of places to be."
Dorei placed a hand on his hip, his stance relaxed and uncaring as usual.
"So you out here training your glow sticks?"
Dorei gestured to Reno's hands when he asked before taking another puff, and shifting his weight to his other leg. He was bored anyways, so he didn't see a reason to not make idle chatter for a bit. Otherwise he would just be asleep, so he supposed this was just a close second. He didn't like meeting new people, but an exception every now and again was fine.

So not only had he awoken some one with his training but he in a sense had awoken a god form his nap apparently, a fact that did not bode well for him if this gods power was anything to go by. At least he seemed friendly enough if a little flippant about his ability to create swords form his own ki. Still other world was a little new to him, was it place in outer space or some other place? It sure did not sound like any place that would be in space and the bizarre name only made him want to know more but he pushed it aside for a moment as he thought on the mans question. Finally deciding that it was simply easier to indulging him then trying to trick him he let out a sigh before holding out his hands for his blade back, his empty hands doing little to help his nerves.
"Yes I am out here training and despite my attempts to find a place alone to train I seem to not having much luck. I guess your not doing to better in search of your own nap if I was to guess. Hmm back to the question at hand this practice allows me to not only create two blades but allow me to control energy in my other limbs for more variety of attacks. It would seem I was never really good at this skill so I thought I would practice it."
He informed his guest as he studied him further, his eyes catching the mans sword. With eyes locked on it he could only wonder what kinda blade this man carried at his strength and if was good enough for him in a fight. Most metal blades were far to brittle for many of the fighters he had come to meet recently, the fact this man still carried only made him want to inspect it all the more. Finally he dragged his eyes away form it before looking at the man again, his own eyes watching the man enjoy his tobacco.
"So what is this other world you mentioned? Is it a portion of space? Sorry if this seems a bit forward but I have been meeting a lot of aliens as of late and I am rather ill informed about anything on this planet alone much less outer space. Although now that I am thinking about it wouldn't it be strange if a god to be form space? Or is just some mortal fantasy that your on another place or some such thing?"
He asked genuinely curious about it, his understanding of such things very limited. In fact it was almost non existent since their was little need to learn religion in the monastery, much less even world events. It was only now becoming a issue due to the fact he now spent his days away form the temple and wondered the world meeting aliens nearly none stop now. In fact it was safe to say he had meet more note worth aliens then he had human beings, a fact that had very little to do with them being aliens. Still he was not unhappy to meet them and was only glad most of them were friendly and not trying to kill him since most of them probably could he found out.
"Sorry if I seem like some hick form no where but I really have not gotten out much till recently"

Dorei listened quietly as the boy explained the situation to him in depth, how he had come to train this skill and how he felt he was lacking. A respectable approach to any situation given a lack of skill, to work on a weakness was no fault anyone could give. Yet the boy seemed to keep eyeing Dorei's sword, and the shinjin raised a brow at the stare. He didn't mind, he understood the idea of someone carrying a physical sword was a potential break waiting to happen. Given Dorei's strength, a normal blade wouldn't work to well for him.
He untied the blade with one hand, smoking with the other and handed it to the boy in its sheath. The blade was made by Dorei, created using his powerful magics, and with that imagination along with the understanding of the craft to make them, it was a strong blade. If he unsheathed it, he would find the blade gleaming with shine, a well taken care of blade that reflected upon its surface all around it. Its edge razor sharp and easily able to cut anything it touched besides near impossible things.
Dorei wasn't offended by Reno's lack of knowledge and took no offense that he didn't see him as the god that he saw himself as. Dorei snuffed his cig out under his shoe, before blowing the smoke harmlessly into the air.
"Nah you cool. Otherworld is where ya go when ya die. Hard to believe I know but yea, you know the stories of heaven and hell that people talk about? They are real, just there are people born there. I was born in heaven, a shinjin. A god."
Dorei gave a shrug, not carrying if he was viewed as one, but then again it went against his nature to think otherwise. To Dorei, he was a supreme being, one that stood above others, yet he liked to live among-st the mortal races. Yet he did pity them their finite lives. Shinjin lived for centuries, beyond any mortal kind that he knew of.
"But thats not important. That blade you make seems interesting but doesn't it take from your stamina when you use it? I'd imagine it would be hard to keep it in place while you fight. Or have you simply been able to make due with it because its like muscle memory... My magic is similar that I can simply use it as I see fit without much thought, but after a while it takes from my reserves of stamina."
Dorei then put his hands into his pockets, examining the young man in detail. He seemed a warrior of sorts, but awfully young to be out here throwing himself into training. Usually it was older folk who had experienced life and wanted something different that went about training from Dorei's experience. Plenty of fools seeking their fortunes or their health but ended by Dorei's hand who practiced martial arts. Yet in the end one could only hope that it wasn't the same with this one. Very few enjoyed martial arts for that and that alone.

These revelations where quite new to him, a life after death? Could one travel between them and if so was their a need to fear death? It was a lot to take in to say the least, and a bit of information many on earth wondered about constantly. He imagined not just anyone could come back as most people as far as he knew stayed dead. But he was sure there was some kind of catch as this man in front of him was without a doubt was able to move between realms or at least had done it one time. He wondered what he should ask about though as he did not want to bombard the man endlessly about the after life, maybe he would just ask two questions on the topic and move on. Would his old mentor still be alive in otherworld?
"So other world does exist......does that mean some one who has died can come back to the living world?......is there a place to train in other world or at least any strong trainers that you know of?"
He asked his face thoughtful as he pondered his own questions but realized he should change the subject after these two if only to be polite. Still he wanted to ask so many questions he thought his head would burst. Thinking on what the man said he could only nod at the fact their were gods of a kind there but he already knew that must mean their were also demons. In fact he was pretty sure now that his mentor had been just that, a demon form other world?
"Ahh its very much muscle memory for me and in fact I can even sleep with it out. As for stamina its almost does not tax me at since I keep the .....Where do the demons come form if I might ask? I think I met one recently....do they come some where in other world?"
He asked unsure and a little bit shaken at the thoughts of real demons out there.

Dorei tilted his head at the young man's question, a rather brazen one and also confusing. He was less concerned about the prospect of it being about death and more about the potential for training. He guessed that if he had been training out here, then wanting to go to other world for the chance to get training from long dead masters was a thing. Dorei simply concluded that this young man was obsessed with strength and even would go to the land of the dead to possess it.
"Aye, there are plenty of people to receive training from, many of which are dead masters of long forgotten arts. I have trained in a few of the current... er well... within the last couple of thousand years at least, arts of that time. I could say for certain there are masters of my art and others there."
Dorei said before again he was asked a strange question. The shinjin unsure of what to say on the matter about demons. He didn't hold a grudge against the demon who attempted to corrupt him, and instinctively he reached for his horns at the memory. The demons had nearly taken his godhood from him, and he was almost one of them.
"Yes, there is a land for demons, but it does not reside in otherworld. That is known as the demon realm... yes I know original naming there. But it is home to most demons and is where they reside when it comes to their birthplace."
Dorei then retied his sword at his side, certain Reno did not wish to see it after all. He was a little offended considering he had crafted it himself, but he did so quietly and without complaint. He was surprised that someone could manage to keep their energy so focused and was very impressed that this young man could maintain it so effectively. He wondered what else this boy could do if he was properly trained up. Perhaps he would find out soon enough.
