"I still can't believe that we're actually doing something helpful." Narissa's tone was practically dripping with sass if she could have put more into it she would have. "Still," she shivered and pulled the scarf around her neck closer to her lips. "I'd have preferred it if this monster had made its home somewhere less cold." like seriously, she was positive she'd lost feeling in her fingers at least thirty minutes ago. "Are you even listening to me Scallio?" she glared at the Saiyan's back as he stomped in the snow ahead of her.
"Nope." replied Scallio.
Narissa rolled her eyes and fought the urge to lob a snowball at the back of his head. "You're such an asshole you know that?"
"It's hard not to know with how often you remind me." he glanced over his shoulder "If you're really that cold maybe you shouldn't have come?" he teased.
Narissa dryly laughed, "And leave you by yourself? Yeah, no thanks. At least if I'm with you I can make sure you don't do anything stupid." she narrowed her eyes at him and Scallio looked away. A heavy silence accompanied by a thick tension quickly filled the air between the two of them.
They still hadn't talked about the events at Ginger Town. Scallio was too stubborn to start the conversation and Narissa didn't even know where to begin. So they'd both just chosen to ignore it, at least for now anyway. Ignoring the elephant in the room was why they'd taken this contract in the first place.
After all, what better way to distract yourself than to hunt down a monster?

Aurora had felt their presence the moment they neared. Or, rather, her scouter had beeped and interrupted her meditation yet again and at this point the Arcosian was severely tempted to grab the device from where it lay in the snow and chuck it as hard as she could off of the mountain. Ironically, the reason as to why it had been beeping was also the reason why she decided not to do that. With an uncharacteristic sigh, the Arcosian opened her eyes. Ruby red gazed around the small little cave she had been carving into the side of the mountain whilst blind, an exercise that old monks had apparently used in order to attain enlightenment. Although... the Arcosian was pretty sure she was missing the point, as it had taken these mildly powerful humans years to do what she managed to do in an hour. Still, looking around, Aurora had to admit that she felt a... modicum of pride, she supposed. The cave dug into the side of the mountain was perfectly sculpted, and was decorated with a bunch of ice sculptures and fastenings. Clan Arctos had long since had relations with less... adventurous clans, and gazing upon her handiwork Aurora couldn't help but feel that there was a reason for that.
Still, there was the issue of the power levels the scouter had detected and she mustn't get distracted. Bringing both hands to her face in a forceful slap, the Arcosian turns to the scouter in her hand and quickly puts the head device on. Blinking a little to get used to the new overlay of information, she spins around slowly to try and isolate the direction the power levels were coming from. Eventually she managed to locate them down by the base of the mountain. A power level of five thousand wasn't something she needed to worry about, but there was a significantly stronger one that posed something more of a risk. If she had to guess it was only a little weaker than herself, although not to a point that she didn't think they could be rather dangerous. At that level of power, odds were that they had managed to find a form similar to her own Unleashed ability. It was simply how the whole power thing worked, she had discovered. Such a thing, a... balance, she supposed, only raised more questions inside the Arcosian's head, but right now was not the time for it.
Stepping out of the cave and into the air, Aurora would fly through the air towards the two signatures. It was probably for the best she found out what they ere and, hopefully, what they were here for. However, that didn't mean that it was smart to go in completely blind. So instead of rocketing towards the two beings the Arcosian turned in mid air and instead made a bee line straight for a small rocky outcropping that was a little ways away and off to the side of the beings' paths. Touching down upon the chilly rock, Aurora creeps forward to the very tip of the outcropping to peer down at the two. Crouching upon the rock, her tail swishes silently through the air behind her as her red eyes squint and she does her best to focus her hearing. A small part of her hoped that they didn't have any sort of way to detect her, but logically if they did they wouldn't be making their ay forward so casually, right?

Lost in his thoughts, Scallio didn't take notice of Aurora's approach from the sky. Narissa was too busy attempting to keep herself warm to notice either. Not that either of them would have said anything if they had spotted her.
Both were still refusing to speak. Letting the silence linger in the air between them. The pair continued up the mountain for several meters under Aurora's watchful gaze. Until suddenly Scallio stopped.
Narissa who had been distracted bumped into Scallio's back and fell over into the snow."Seriously Scallio?" she moaned, "As if I wasn't cold enough already." she complained with a roll of her eyes.
"Do you feel that?" he questioned.
"If you mean the snow going down my pants, then yes."
"What? No. Doesn't it feel like we're being watched to you?" the mercenary cautiously scanned the area for signs of anyone nearby. He failed to spot anything but he still couldn't shake the feeling that he has eyes on him. Perhaps he was just being paranoid?
Narissa, now standing and dusting the snow off herself, looked towards Scallio with a raised eyebrow "What are you talking about? The monster is supposed to be at the top of the mountain." and last time she'd checked they were still near the base of it.
"I know you're there!" he bluffed, "Come on out before I blast you to smithereens." he waited for a reply.

Hm. It seemed that they weren't capable of tracking her signature, although judging from the posturing and yelling of the red headed one with the weird hair, they were seemingly aware of her presence. Most likely instinct taking note of something that they themselves didn't. as with a power level like that they had to be at least a little experienced in the art of combat. Aurora debated how she was planning on approaching this one. She could simply leave them alone, but from what she had picked up with her scouter about their conversation... well, she was willing to be that this so called 'monster' was, in fact, her. She certainly hung around the top parts of the mountain frequently enough, although she wasn't sure how the earthlings had noticed that. Perhaps this was actually an attempt by the Saiyan Kingdom? Speaking of... she noticed the tail wrapped around the red head's waist, her perpetual frown deepening into a scowl. Yes, it was beginning to look like that was the case. Well then... perhaps it was best for her to give them a message that she wasn't to be tested. Aurora was storng now, and wouldn't be backing down from anyone anymore.
Around Scallio and Narissa, the wind began to roar as they stepped into the bounds of the mountain proper, a terrible blizzard forming and roaring around them. Such a thing wasn't even the work of Aurora, merely Mt. Frappe's inner magic reacting to the presence of a female that wasn't bonded with the Mountain's Heart, but the Arcosian certainly wasn't going to turn such an opportunity down. Launching from her perch and into the heart of the blizzard, Aurora stalked through a cold she couldn't feel towards where the two were. Her red eyes seemed to glow, piercing the grey of the blizzard as she speaks, voice ringing out. "You shouldn't have come here, Saiyan. Leave now." She orders them, voice ringing out throughout the blizzard, seemingly coming from all around the pair. "This will be your only warning." A little intimidation couldn't hurt, as it might avoid a fight. On the other hand, it could prompt the Saiyan into attacking, something which Aurora certainly... wasn't against. She had yet to have a proper victory over a member of that species, and that alone was enough to have her taking a few risks she normally wouldn't. She wanted to, needed to, know that she was capable of such a feat. Otherwise... what hope did she really have against someone like Nashua?

Icy crystals of pure white danced madly around the duo as the intensity of the snowstorm increased. The wind already cold turned frigid and difficult to endure. Scallio's face twisted into a heavy scowl as he felt it nipping at his exposed flesh. It was annoying but he didn't have time to worry about it. Their target and the one he'd felt staring at them from afar made themselves known. Scallio hadn't seen them approach the blizzard had taken away what little visibility the Saiyan had originally had.
Instinctively he stepped backward and closer to Narissa as the stranger's voice echoed from all around. Leave the feminine voice order and Scallio couldn't help but scoff in response. He wasn't going to let himself to suffer the embarrassment of retreating from another contract. It wasn't going to be that easy for this monster.
"You can take your warning and shove it where the sun doesn't shine." he barked angrily. This was going to be difficult if he couldn't see his target. "Should have brought my scouter..." Scallio muttered underneath this breath, cursing himself for not thinking ahead. He'd have to think of something else to draw his stalker out from hiding. Fortunately, he had the perfect technique for this type of situation.
"Don't move Narissa." he instructed the Heran, who nodded silently in response. Like the sudden eruption of a volcano, an aura of orange ki surged into existence around Scallio's body. It flickered violently against the intense winds of the blizzard. With his arms at his side, Scallio began to charge energy into the palms of his hand. The energy, small at first, swirled rapidly within his palms and condensed itself into orange spheres that swelled in size. It would look as though he held two miniature suns inside each of his hands.
In further preparation to fire his attack, the Saiyan dug his feet into the ground. With anger and intensity in his eyes, Scallio unleashed his technique. He swung his arms upward rapidly and the spheres within them flew up into the sky. Scallio would repeat this action several more times until he suddenly stopped. When he did all the energy he'd fired began to rain down upon the ground. They were like meteors falling from the heavens, slamming into the mountainous tundra and blanketing it in destruction.
With an attack like this it wouldn't matter if Scallio couldn't see his target. They'd either get hit and make their position known or dodge and do the same.

It seemed that the Saiyan didn't intend to leave. A shame, even though Aurora felt a small spark of excitement at the prospect of fighting not only a Saiyan, but fighting to find out just how much stronger she had grown. Aurora danced backwards as the Saiyan murmured to his companion, Narissa evidently, to stay back. The Arcosian was well aware of what words before fighting sounded like, even if he hadn't insulted her and disregarded her order. She watched, crouched within the blizzard as the Saiyan evidently powered up. Balls of orange flickered into existence in his hands, as a similarly orange aura of ki burst into life around him. It clashed against the blizzard around it, and where the two met the snowflakes devolved back into the icy blue of Aurora's magic, mingling with the ki and forming small, flickering bubbles of brown before popping out of existence. The Saiyan launched the orange balls into the sky, followed by even more as they began to dot the air above them. Aurora's eyes widened in recognition of such a technique, memories of fighting Kuma flooding through her mind. A fight that seemed long ago, but in a way was still fresh in the Arcosian's mind.
Sure enough, the balls of energy rocketed forward like a meteor shower, shaking the ground with each impact. Acting quickly, Aurora steps forward and waves a hand, a wall of ice forming over her as she defended herself against the bombardment. Flames and explosive power washed over her shelter, and the Arcosian quickly decided that she wasn't going to be able to defend with such a shield. Alright then. With a growl, she tenses before leaping forward with enough power to shatter through her own ice. Bursting from the makeshift shelter, the Arcosian darts from the blizzard. Her fists coat themselves in blue ki, impacting with the few meteors that rocket towards her and blowing them out of the way as she zooms through the snow and towards the Saiyan, rearing an arm back. Bursting from the swirling blizzard, outlined by the muted flashes of his bombardment's light piercing through the grey of the blizzard, Aurora's fist rockets forward with enough force behind it to crack the ground beneath Scallio's feet. That fist was quickly followed up by another two, aimed at the nose and jaw respectively, before she spins in the air to bring her tail around to collide to his neck, the blizzard around them being replaced with a gentler snowfall at the force of the tail's passing.

Scallio didn't have time to dwell on the success of his strategy as in a matter of moments Aurora went from being nowhere to be seen to right on top of him. The Saiyan wasn't an amateur, however, and swiftly brought his forearm up to block her initial strike. He gritted his teeth and his feet dug deeper into the snow, pain coursing down his arm. Her next two punches were blocked in a similar fashion but as she struck at him with her tail Scallio had no answer. It slammed against his neck with significant force and Scallio went flying to the side.
If it hadn't been for Narissa's quick thinking he'd have flown farther than he had. She moved in the direction Scallio had been sent and caught the Saiyan within her arms. "Are you okay Scallio that look like it hurt?" she asked, her concern written all over her face.
Seething with anger and his neck throbbing in pain Scallio didn't give Narissa any reply. He merely pushed himself free from her arms and glared at Aurora with a fire inside his eyes. "Arcosian..." he muttered through gritted teeth, "I'm going to enjoy ripping you apart." another violent eruption of ki accompanied the orange aura that surged to life around Scallio's body once more. Now would have been a good time for Scallio to have Narissa toss the Power Ball and he knew that. But looking at Aurora, clearly still in her base form, made him decide against it. He wasn't going to be the first of them to transform, he'd do this in his base form for as long as possible.
Without warning Scallio charged forward at a blinding speed that caused the snow beneath his feet to melt. Using his anger as fuel the Saiyan aimed a punch directly at the Arcosian's face. He'd followed this up with an attempt to kick Aurora directly at the center of her chest. The force of which he hoped would be enough to send her flying backward.

"Saiyan. You and your kind, always biting off a little more than they can chew." Aurora responds, stalking through the snow towards Scallio. Her heart raced at the success she had seen attacking him. She had gained the first blow, the upper hand. Now she just needed to stick with it. Her tail lashed in the snow as the ice demon of mt. frappe strode towards Scallio, red eyes burning with focus on the fight. She wanted to, no, NEEDED to win this fight. Not just to keep her life, but to show herself that she was capable. That she was able. She watched, pausing and settling into a stance as Scallio powers up once more before blurring towards the Arcosian. Her eyes narrowed, even as her form began to shift rapidly. Muscle developed and grew as bio armour shifted and flowed, her horns extending from her head as crystals grow, one covering her mouth in a mask. Her first limiter had been removed, and Aurora had entered her Brute form, although she preferred the name Cyclops. A hand the size of a dinner plate came up to her face,, the Saiyan's fist impacting solidly, a meaty thwack echoing out even as the snow behind her was blown away by the sheer force.
Purple fingers enclosed around the fist with excruciating strength, even as the Arcosian flinched at the leg that impacted into her side, Bio Armour cracking under the force of the blow. Sloppy. She needed to be aware of all attacks, not just the obvious ones. Hand wrapping around Scallio's fist and a part of its forearm, she attempts to lift the Saiyan into the air, before bringing him down into the hardened rock with enough force to shatter it. Success or not, she would then rear her fist back before darting forward to try to punch the Saiyan and send him flying back in the direction of Narissa, aiming to hit both of them. "It's time you were taught some manners." The filtered voice of Aurora could be heard through the red crystal. She wasn't smiling, but it was a near thing.

Almost as if it to challenge what he had been thinking only a few moments prior his opponent began to transform. He'd noticed Aurora's shifting appearance during the middle of his rush towards her. Scallio was cocky though, perhaps too cocky, and didn't bother adjusting his attack plan. A choice that he soon came to regret when Aurora caught his fist. He attempted to pull himself free but her grip was irontight. Lifted up from the ground with little effort and brought back down against a rock with a mighty swing. Scallio's eyes grew wide and he groaned out in pain from the blow. He didn't dwell on it for long, recovering quickly and just in time to bring his arms up to lessen the damage from Aurora's follow-up punch. The force of which was still enough to send him careening backward in the air but he stopped short of actually colliding into Narissa.
He wasn't off to a very good start in this fight. Just how many hits had she landed on him now, four? Meanwhile, he'd yet to land a single blow worth any real damage on her. It was infuriating for the Saiyan, who clinched his fists tightly as she taunted him. "As if I need to be taught manners from someone hiding up on a mountain." he spat back with an angry glare.
Narissa placed a hand on Scallio's back, "She's strong Scallio and she's not even in her true form yet." Narissa sounded worried and that only seemed to add more fuel to Scallio's rage.
"Shut up if all you're going to do is state the obvious." he shot a glare from over his shoulder at the Heran. "Just toss the fucking Power Ball." he ordered to a very surprised Narissa.
It was clear by the expression on her face that she wanted to say something, likely about the way he'd spoken to her but she didn't. Narissa instead did as Scallio had instructed her and started to charge the Power Ball. She pulled the right sleeve of her jacket up to reveal a wrist-mounted device. Quickly she began to press at the buttons on the device which caused it to activate. Narissa held her hand out and a small white ball of energy appeared floating above her palm. Pumping her own energy into the sphere caused it to increase in size before she tossed it up into the sky. "Burst open and mix!" she shouted and the sphere exploded in a flash of light.
The explosion released blutz wave energy onto the battlefield that Scallio soaked into his body. Quickly the Saiyan began to change and his body pulsed with power as it grew in size. The mighty Oozaru now stood towering before Aurora with a bestial grin. He didn't waste any time going on the offensive either. Scallio opened his mouth wide and unleashed a powerful beam of orange energy at her. It tore through the sky melting the snow in the air and pushing the blizzard of Mt.Frappe aside as it traveled.

Ah yes, the the monkey form, or Oozaru as the Saiyans called it. Their answer to to Arcosian transformations, and a thread that wasn't to be taken lightly. Aurora watched as the companion, Narissa, activated an artificial blutz generator from her wrist, throwing the ball into the sky where it burst upon gaining enough power. Normally Aurora would have done her best to stop such a thing, but... well, there was a reason she was fighting in the first place, so instead she watched as Scallio began to shift. Growing metres in height, she found herself... surprised at exactly how tall the Saiyan had reached. It was certainly larger than Kuma's had been, and the hair was curiously still present despite the transformation. However, that was all the time the Arcosian had to gaze and speculate as a beam of power burst from the monkey's mouth and rocketed towards her. Eyes widening in surprise, Aurora crossed her arms as the beam enveloped her and continued to travel. Carrying Aurora with it, it slammed into the mountain behind them, the heat enough to melt rock as the Arcosian was obscured from view. Eventually the beam ended, and for a moment everything was silent...
Before a boom echoes from the mountain, and a blur rockets back towards the titanic being. Wings flared to the side as Aurora, lightly singed even in her true form, aimed to deliver a blow to the monkey's nose. She had fought these before. She knew what worked, and more importantly what didn't work. First, punch the nose to create tears. Obscure vision. Then, work on eyes and ears before going for the tail. "I can't help it if i'm simply raised better." Aurora smirks, aiming to taunt and distract the Saiyan. Already she could tell that despite the similarities in this form and what she had seen from Kuma... this wasn't nearly as manic or berserk. How curious. Her form blurred once more as the red of her bio gem blades along her arms and wings began to glow a soft pink and extend, the Arcosian calling upon the ki blade techniques Reno had showed her before she goes to slash through the eye of the beast, spinning through the air.

601,566 / 501,305 PL - Narissa: 5,000 PL The attack hit but it was only a minor inconvenience for his opponent who recovered quickly and came barreling towards him. She didn't look the same as she had before Scallio's attack had sent her flying either. She'd transformed again and that meant she had increased her power even further. That had the potential to be troublesome but Scallio wasn't worried, made clear by the confident grin on his face.
He jumped backward and into the air, dodging the strike aimed at his nose with ease. As he landed back onto the ground the earth shook from the weight of his body. Scallio continued to dodge her attacks as she made them. Entirely unimpressed by the obvious nature of them. "Too obvious." he taunted with a sneer and a chuckle. "You must be used to fighting Saiyans who lack control of the ape." that would explain why she went for such simplistic methods of attack. Scallio would make her regret underestimating him like that.
Tapping deep into his inner beast, Scallio lifted his head to the sky and released a blood-curdling roar. With enough ferocity and power behind it that it caused the very air around them to tremble. He lowered his head and curled his right hand into a fist that began to emit a faint orange glow. The intensity of the light increased rapidly until his hand shined like an orange beacon in the night.
"Be crushed by the power of the mighty Oozaru!" Scallio lunged forward, lifting off the ground a few inches as he brought his supercharged fist down on top of Aurora's floating form. Regardless of if the attack hit her or not, the moment in impacted the built-up energy would be released in a powerful explosion of concussive force.

Aurora's eyes widened at the sound of the Oozaru talking, even as she continued to fly through the air. The Arcosian had thought that this Saiyan was simply more capable at being able to control the beast's inner animal, but apparently the race was capable of actual, full control. Hmm. A troubling occurrence, as while she would never admit it out loud, Scallio was correct in that she most likely wouldn't be able to handle this monkey the same way she did when Kuma went on her mindless rampage. "Alright then." She murmurs to herself, brow furrowing in concentration. Her body began to steam and warp slightly, armour hardening and crystals protruding further from her body as she tapps into her inner racial strength, looking over towards Scallio all the while. Such a form was merely an increase in size strength and speed. Unfortunately for the Saiyan, it came with two rather obvious weaknesses. First was the larger tail, something known the galaxy over as the Saiyan weak point. The second was something that fewer people over considered, yet was rather vital. The larger you became, the more obvious the targets upon your body. Narrowing her eyes, Aurora focuses even as she watches Scallio lift his head up to roar a rather unnecessary (in her opinion) roar, fist beginning to glow long before his attack was launched. And evidently, launched was the correct word as the titanic ape rocketed towards her.
"Rather rich for you to be telling me that i'm obvious in my movements." She smirks, raising a brow alongside both of her wings as the bio armour met the Ape's fist at an angle, buckling under the sheer power of the attack. Narrowing her eyes, Aurora waited for the- there! Concussive force exploded from the impact, which had been aimed at the Arcosian who instead used said force to spin herself out of the way and into the Ape's guard. Her tails flicked, razor edges aiming to slice at the key muscles at the wrist of the fist that attacked her even as Aurora herself blurred with motion, moving up towards the throat of the ape. Her blades, arm and wing, aimed to slice along the ape's arm even as she rears her first back to attempt to deliver a blow to the jugular of the behemoth.

601,566 / 501,305 PL - Narissa: 14,000 PL Those spiky protrusions on Aurora's body weren't just for show it seemed. The Arcosian used them to clash with his fist and in a impressive display of skill utilized the explosion that followed to her advantage. If Scallio hadn't been anticipating some kind of counterattack on her part his right arm surely would have taken some serious damage, but because he had been the Saiyan was able to dodge out of the way. In the moment Aurora began to spin through the air with her tail poised to cut into his flesh Scallio rushed forward. The speed of his movement so sudden and intense despite his size that it should have been impossible. Rather than hit thin air, however, Aurora's attack would slice through a burning afterimage Scallio had left behind in his place.
"I'll admit, you almost had me there." Scallio grinned, "Almost." he taunted from his new position several feet away. He was starting to get wise to her strategy now or so he thought. She kept aiming for his vital spots but with blows meant to incapacitate rather than kill. He didn't know if she be angry over the fact she thought she could defeat him like that or thankful that she was stupid enough to believe it would work. Either way, Scallio wasn't going to show her same level of restraint, he was fighting to kill.
Orange wisps of energy swirled around him in all directions as he built up power. Slowly the ape began to rise from the ground and into the air. The energy around him exploding as dashed through the sky with an audible boom. During his charge Scallio fired off several shots of energy, some aimed directly at Aurora and others merely in her general direction. All of them meant to keep her busy as he closed in on her. He spun as he neared her, unleashing several more blasts of ki in a haphazard spray across the battlefield. The true intention of Scallio's attack, however, was to use the momentum from his spin to bring his tail crashing down atop her.
It was at this moment that Narissa, no longer content to merely sit on the sidelines, made a move of her own. The Heran's power surged and her muscles slightly increased in size as she tapped into her dorimant strength. A light purple aura of energy surrounded her form and she took aim at Aurora with one of her hands. One eye shut and with her tongue sticking out from the corner of her mouth, Narissa prepared to fire at the Arcosian. Unleashing a violet beam of energy directly at one of Aurora's wings. Narissa knew that it wouldn't do much damage, but she hoped that it would at least distract Aurora long enough for Scallio's attack to land. ADDITIONAL INFO Damage: 41%

"Mm." Was Aurora's only response to the taunting from Scallio, the Arcosian already righting herself in the sky from where her tails had met nothing but air after the ape had managed to focus his ki into escaping her attack. The Saiyan's flames licked at her armour, slightly marring it before dying in the aura of cold that surrounded the ice demon. She watched as once again the ape began to glow, crossing her arms in anticipation of what was coming next. Sure enough, with a colossal boom that shook the air itself, he rocketed towards her accompanied by a cluster of ki bolts. Judging by the spray of them, they were meant to serve as a distraction for what she was going to assume was a melee attack. If she thought that the Saiyan was as feral as most of them, she might have fallen for it. As it was though, she knew he was a talented enough warrior to aim the shots properly. Her wings came forward to smack into ki blasts and send them into the shattered and pockmarked ground below, Aurora narrowed her eyes and waited for the- "GH!" She grunts as a shot from the one on the ground came out of nowhere, the violet beam impacting with Aurora's headdress and snapping her head to the side.
The momentary distraction was enough for Scallio to close the distance as Aurora's eyes widen and she looks up in time to see the titanic tail coming towards her. Her arms raise in an attempt to block, but as the forces meet she found herself ill prepared. A purple streak collides into the ground with enough force to create a small crater, shards of rock and puffs of snow kicking up everywhere. Laying in the crater, Auurora lets out a small groan even as her wings raise and stab into the earth. Lifting herself up by her appendages, Aurora holds an arm off to the side even as she looks up towards where the Ape was, beginning to float back up towards him. "Stay out of this!" She commands, as ice materialises and begins to swirl and try to freeze Narissa over. It wouldn't kill her, merely lock her in stasis until she was freed. Aurora wouldn't be having any more interruptions in the fight. As brave as the blue woman had been to attempt to shoot at her, Aurora wasn't impressed enough to keep letting her roam.

601,566 / 501,305 PL - Narissa: 14,000 PL A successful hit and a solid one at that, Scallio couldn't help but smirk because of it. He was eager and ready to follow the blow up with another one but that quickly changed. The Saiyan had still been in the air, just moments away from touching back down on the ground when Aurora switched targets.
Narissa, celebrating a good assist on her part, didn't initially take notice of Aurora's magical attack. It wasn't until she began to feel an icy chill accompanied by a numbness slowly make its way up her left leg that she realized something was off. Confused she glanced downward and what she saw caused her eyes to widen in surprise. The lower half of her leg was entirely covered in ice that was inching its way further up her body.
"No, no, no." panic set in and her heart began to race, with each hectic beat the ice only seemed to move faster up her body. She looked to her right and found that her right leg had begun to suffer the same fate. Desperate to prevent herself from freezing over Narissa smashed her fist against the ice. Outside of her hand now throbbing in pain nothing had changed. "Scallio!" she cried out frantically for the Saiyan. Narissa's panic increased, spreading to her face, it's delicate features twisted in horror and fear filled her violet eyes.
All feeling below her waist disappeared, her entire lower body had frozen over and the Heran found herself rooted in place.
Scallio's eyes darted towards Narissa as she called out his name. "Narissa!" anger spread across the Oozaru's face and he let out a low growl. "Whatever you've done Arcosian I suggest you undo it and quickly." he demanded, murderous intent ringing heavy in his voice. It was too late, Scallio could only watch helplessly as the ice encased Narissa completely. Her expression of fear frozen on her face and her arm reaching out for the Saiyan to save her.
Once again Scallio had been powerless to protect her, again he'd been too weak to help the one woman he loved. Anger, was all he could feel as he looked upon Narissa's frozen form. The emotion consumed him more than it ever had before and with Narissa unable to quell it, Scallio exploded.
He roared and the ground beneath his shattered apart with the eruption of his energy. "You'll pay..." the energy around him swelled, "You'll pay..." all he could see was red, "You'll pay with your life!" he rushed toward the Arcosian. Any sense of strategy and tactic had left the Saiyan completely as he gave into his rage. Like the beast he currently was, Scallio made savage and animalistic strikes against Aurora. Several punches and kicks that ended with an attempt to smack her into the side of nearby mountain with his tail.
