Today was an off day for Suri. She had been going on with her normal, perhaps slightly mundane life as a citizen of Earth. She put on some casual clothes, said goodbye to her family, and left home, heading out to grab a meal at a restaurant. She considered going to a Diono's again, perhaps chatting with Dion today as well.
Suri didn't expect anything out of the ordinary to happen today. Why would she? It was just like any other regular day, after all, of course barring all those times something did happen. Having no way of sensing energy, Suri stayed oblivious to the incident going on in Mt. Frappe... but then, not too far from where she was, she spotted Dion going somewhere in a hurry. "Hey, Dio..." No use, the sound wasn't going to reach him in time. 'I've never seen him fly that fast before... Now, something could be wrong, OR he could just be running late for his job! At his own...pub chain...' Rationalizing wasn't working, so Suri decided that she would try to catch up to Dion and ask him what was going on, to make sure he was alright. Suri shot herself forward, flying after him.
...
Keeping up with the Saiyan proved to be very difficult for Suri. She never caught up to him, and only barely managed to follow him from very far behind. It seemed like she hadn't recovered fully, and she was still out of practice in terms of using ki and magic. Hopefully she wouldn't need to use too much of them today. Hopefully.
"Where is he headed t-" Suri shut her eyes and stopped in midair as the cold air hit her in the face. "Dang it!" She lost him. Mt. Frappe. Why did it have to be here of all places? It was cold here, and Suri's cold aura certainly made it worse for her. The shivering Majin quickly used her magic materialization to create a long padded jacket that covered her from her head all the way down to her ankles, and just continued flying. It wasn't a good time to complain about the cold right now. Her friend came all the way here despite it being so effing cold, it had to be because of something important.
A lot of people were here, and a dangerous level of fighting seemed to be going on. Had Dion come here to fight as well? Like she had originally intended, she decided to find Dion and get some answers. Maybe she'd help him if he's in trouble.
Suri flew close to the ground, looking around for any sign of Dion. But instead of a bartender Saiyan, Suri found a frozen Heran. "...Huh?" She flew closer to confirm that she was indeed seeing what she was seeing. "This...isn't a statue, is it?" Somehow this person, she...had been completely encased in ice! Was it really that cold here? Whatever had happened, she was in danger as well. Being rendered unable to move, this Heran girl would be awfully vulnerable to any stray ki blasts... Suri took off her oversized coat off and put it on Narissa. It was all she could do, really. She couldn't produce heat to melt the ice...did she have anything else she could use? Suri stood there, searching her pockets for something useful. Lighter, portable heater, hand warmer...anything.

ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: Mastered Super Saiyan (x16P) |
Right. So. Nashua had quite been hoping to keep herself out of Earth's affairs for the time being, in all truthfulness. And she had, as far as she was concerned, done a decent enough job of that. She needed to take it easy, and focus on restoring Arcose to a more hospitable and prosperous state. But the things that had been happening on Earth, the people that were being allowed to run amok... Well, this was what happened whenever people like her took it easy. She'd heard whispers of it, of course. The disappearance of that blue cat person who watched over that tower. The sudden death of the President. The murder of the hybrid Saiyan Tarch. And while it had weighed on her, and she'd seen the evidence, heard the testimonials... Somehow, her heart couldn't know it to be true. That wasn't the Vocado she knew. The Vocado she knew was wise, stoic, compassionate. He'd never do anything like the stuff she'd been hearing.
So when news of a large disturbance on Mt. Frappe reached her ears... She had to check things out, of course. The timing couldn't have worked out better. The Saiyan left her ship behind, but took her scouter with her, along with the Senzu Bean Ramen had entrusted her with many months before. It didn't take her long to arrive, but when she did, she saw who she'd quite been hoping not to see, even though in the back of her mind, she knew she'd find him present. The bags that had been assembling beneath her eyes for the past several months suddenly felt twice as thick, the burdens on her shoulders twice as heavy. Why had he fallen from grace, of all people? And... Why were so many others assembled on this desolate mountain? Nashua had to admit some confusion as she glanced around and spotted several other, both familiar and unfamiliar faces. She supposed they, too, had been drawn to the sounds of the chaos. They didn't matter to her right now, though. Only one man did.
"You utter prick," she grumbled with venom as she leered down onto the Super Saiyan Vocado. All it took was the briefest flex within her mind, and she was right there with him, with her golden hair shining bright, and her icy blue eyes overflowing with contempt. Scallio was here, too. And Kalabas had been picked up on her scouter, as well. This was his chaos squad, was it? Cress was a part of it, too, though he didn't appear to be present. No matter, she'd deal with him at a later date. "Do you remember that day I begged you to forgiveness, when I felt as though I'd betrayed the Kingdom, and you instead stripped me of my titles and were content to allow me to rot away in the forgotten annals of history?" she continued, still glaring down at the ape beneath her heels. "You aren't good enough to lick the grime covered boots of the woman I was that day. You are disappointment, personified." Nashua folded her arms, and lowered herself slightly, so as to be closer to Vocado's altitude, though still stayed hovering a few meters higher than him. "Have you anything to say in your defense for your inexcusable crimes these past few months?"
Nashua joins the battle! She is currently in MSSJ (x16P), putting her at 3,456,000 PL! Current items are Scouter, Senzu Bean, and Space Ship!

Chime's PL: 100 (Set from 140,000)
The growing power in the north was impossible for the Kami to ignore. First two individuals, each only vaguely familiar to him, were doing battle, and if it had remained at just that, he would have ignored it. If he leaped up to investigate every single duel that got a little too explosive, he'd do literally nothing else with his days. But two became three, and then four, and then countless more, many spirits he didn't recognize, but a few he did, all too well. By the time Chime arrived on the scene from the Lookout, far off to the west, a small army had formed at Mount Frappe.
The first thing he noticed, besides the throngs of people above, on, and even within the mountain (the latter he could only sense and not see, from where he was hovering) was the state of the mountain itself. Large chunks of stone and ice lay strewn about the landscape, with clear gashes and craters from where they had been hacked off the mountain. Chime frowned. Collateral damage from the fight, or intentional destruction? It was hard to tell. Either way, it couldn't be allowed to continue. And besides that...
Chime scanned the crowd to find those he recognized, which was maybe half of those he could see. There was that swordsman from the woods, along with that Saiyan that had come calling to the Lookout. Yogu was there too, he had actually spotted his ghostly friend first, and he was jumping right into the fray with...
Vocado.
Chime's eyes narrowed, vision tunneling into a pinpoint on the Saiyan. His hands balled into fists beside him as he forced himself to breathe evenly. He was no Saiyan, he rage brought him no power, only recklessness. He had to keep an even head. His true power was in his mind and his magic, not his fists, he just had to remember to play to that. What was Vocado doing here, anyway? Was did this mountain have to do with his grand schemes? Chime couldn't begin to guess, but he supposed he would find out soon.
The last person he recognized, and the most surprising to him, was Nashua. She looked different than when he'd seen her last, but it was unmistakably her, Queen of Arcose and his...friend? Were they friends? Had they ever been? Chime wasn't really sure anymore, but he supposed for the moment they were allies. From what he could catch of her words over the cold mountain winds, she wasn't happy with Vocado, either. In that, at least, they were of one mind.
Chime hovered high into the air, above everyone else present, where he would've been hidden in the icy winds if not for the bright green of his skin standing out so much. All around him powerful energies blazed like torches, Super Saiyans or similar, but Chime kept his power hidden. A miniscule blip on a radar, compared to everyone else. Closing his eyes, he reached out to the minds of everyone present at the mountain, friend, foe, or otherwise, to deliver a message:
"Warriors of Mount Frappe! This mountain is as ancient as it is grand and cold. It is an important part of this planet. If you would defend it, rally together. If you would harm it, either intentionally or in the crossfire, stand down. This is your only warning."
Chime uses [UT] Telepathy to contact EVERYONE in the thread!

Post by Oboe on Jan 30, 2020 20:47:28 GMT -6
It hadn’t taken much for Oboe to detect the growing power to the North. When Chime himself began to realize what was going on, and had rushed off the lookout to investigate the growing surges of energy swiftly encroaching on what had once seemed to be a personal battle – The Guru of Namek held no hesitation in his actions. Chime had been kind enough to let he and his students remain on the lookout during their time on earth, and even if his hospitality wasn’t the case, his connection to Chime had run deep. He held the younger of the pair in high regard and considered him an equal and a friend in all regards.
He would not let the Kami of this world face off against dangerous powers such as these alone. Soaring behind the younger Namekian, Oboe called out “I’ll follow your lead. If we stick together there’s no telling what we can accomplish little brother.”
Oboe genuinely felt that in his heart. He had the utmost faith in Chime’s abilities and in turn would dedicate his entire being to protecting this world that one his of own claimed as his home. Had offered his protection. It was just what a Guru should do. As the pair made it to the mountain, it was hard for the Namekian to contain his disappointment at the sheer sight of destruction before him. The rocky craters and broken stone scattered over the dense forest below painted a wicked sight of destruction. At the center, as he expected, was of course a Saiyan. He did not recognize, per-say, this particular Saiyan right away though he did Feel familiar. Perhaps…he was on Namek? Whether he wanted to contemplate that further or not, whether he wanted to pay mind to all the other beings below, when the familiar surge of energies washed over his self – when he saw, with is own eyes, the visages of those he knew…it all came to a head.
First, nearest the center of this destruction, was the one whom had plagued his thoughts for days. The man whom he had trusted, confided in, who now stood to destroy and – by his own words – potentially subjugate not just the people of Earth, but his own. Whether or not that was his true agenda? Oboe had no idea. All he knew was what the man had said and such words had bred fear in the Guru’s heart. If Vocado was to succeed in his plans, life – everywhere – would be at risk. He couldn’t allow it to happen here, on Earth, of all places. This was the home of many of his friends!
Another surge of power; This one familiar and welcome to his senses. Though she looked quite different, stressed even, there was no mistaking the talented and powerful Nashua – Friend of the Namekian People – had arrived. Her words dripped with Vitriol as even she had found disagreement with Vocado’s actions. It seemed to him that not every Saiyan was behind the acts on Earth. A fact that once learned was far more welcomed to hear than he’d thought. He hadn’t realized how worried he truly was that the entire might of the Saiyan Empire was finally coming to bear on another civilization. Perhaps…that was paranoia born of his new tuffulized DNA.
As he stared at those below, he realized just how lucky – in some regards – Chime was. Whether they were here for destruction or here to protect; Earth had an assortment of people ready to stand at arms against a foe they had no chance of beating. Oboe could respect the resolve of every Earthling present and it filled him with confidence as Chime made his declaration. He begged the Warriors of Mount Frappe to choose a side and stand with him. With a nod, Oboe of course acquiesced.
“I stand with you, Little Brother.”
Taking a Cue from the Kami, Oboe also controlled and contained his power – though through some exertion of force, and a newly felt pressure around the older Namekian – something…changed within the Guru of Namek. His robes – familiar and of the Dragon Caste – had shifted to the garments of a Warrior…though there were still some tells of the Dragon upon him. The two dark lines that had formed beneath his eyes since his Tuffulization had become more pronounced and noticeable. His normally dark colored eyes had shifted to a Half-Red, half icy-blue tone; Another biproduct of his Tuffulization. Though outward, there was no surge of power – no tell of force – inward, he had released his restraint. He would fight with everything he had in the defense of Planet Earth, and its people.
Even now, within him, he felt the agreement of every Sage that had come before him. Of the warrior guardian that had now rested within. They all knew that this was the right course of action, and Planet Namek would understand. If something were to happen to him? They would survive. They would choose another. They would not end here – and neither would Earth or this Mountain!
“When Vocado makes a move…we attack him together…this is the only way we’ll succeed. We'll use our magic and help those as we can. In this, we can help everyone by taking out the biggest threat to everything. We'll have to help Yogu swiftly..I trust that he's on our side as you have said. I'm still apprehensive with him but...I trust you”
Looking at the other Super Saiyan, his fresh raging Ki still pulsating even in his state, he realized the score. “Leave that one to everyone else…Only Vocado and his allies matter.”
The Guru of Namek has Arrived to Assist Earth in her time of need! Oboe has shifted to his True State; Releasing all the force of ‘Guru’ [x16P]. Current Total Power Level: 2,880,000. Energy Setting Activated! Energy Set: 100 (Does not Fluctuate during shift to this form).

Sometimes, Dorei felt like he was more of a hunter than a hitman. Tracking his targets across the ice and snow, through the heat and deserts. He flew through the air at high speed, having been tracking vocado after his departure. Now Dorei had found him once more, and what more did he find? The saiyans ganging up on Aurora? No... one of them wasn't apparently against her, or maybe he was? It didn't matter anymore. All Dorei cared about was finishing what he had wanted to in the last encounter. Vocado was NOT getting away and Dorei was going to make sure of it.
So he flew into the battle, crashing down into the snow like a meteor, rising up as the snow fell with silver eyes aglow with fury. His silver eyes shining brightly through the snow as he moved forward. The two Namekians were here as well it seemed with other faces. Dorei's eyes however were trained on Vocado, the shinjin saying nothing as he tossed his coat to the wind once more. The enemy knew who he was, he had said it before.
Dorei got into a fighters stance, his new mission was to kill Vocado, to set right the order of the universe and fix all of this nonsense... then he would destroy the dragon balls. But first thing was first, the madman who wanted to create 'Chaos' in his universe... Dorei would not allow it and today it ended.

COLD SHOULDERFUSED CARRO's PL: 4,401,452 (x22P ACTIVE | ANTISENSE)
It was hard not to take notice of a flood of powerful energies conglomerating in a violent amalgamation at Mount Frappe's snowy base. Last time he got into a fight in the arctic, Carro and LEO died. This time was going to be very, very different, though.
"Heeeeey, long time no see." A pair of voices quipped in sync. "Sorry I'm late. Death does that to you."
The allegedly deceased President had darted the the unfurling scene in what looked like the blink of an eye to most of the rest... Well, the figure looked mostly like Carro, at least. His metallic body was completely coated in blazing ki, projecting a form much like his own prior to death. The orange flickered like a flame around the scattered pieces of metal that protruded through it around his chest, cradling a swirling green and orange core of sorts. Energy, though it'd take a Scouter to comprehend how much, emananeted in mass from the fusion's core.
He'd managed to pick up on Chime's telepathy and spot the exchange of attacks from afar, but Carro's knowledge on what was even happening was limited. He'd been forwarded reports of a violent fight of sorts ensuing at its base with a Super Saiyan, yet there was a whole mass of people here that likely followed the sound of chaos as well. He could hardly recognize or notice all of them, but many of them both he and LEO knew- most as friends. Orange eyes trailed to Nashua and Oboe in particular. He offered a small, yet respectful bow of his head to the other two leaders united with a common goal.
"I'd like to hear your defense too, murderer." His and LEO's voices jabbed in unison with Nashua's words. "From both you and the other Super Saiyan here. Earth hasn't forgotten that senseless attack on Ginger Town, you know..." The armor, the stature, Scallio sure matched the descriptions of the assailant. "I hardly know what even started this mess here, but I sure know how we'll finish it. I told you there was a reason why the goal you seek failed so long ago for a reason. Here it is." Carro gestured to the crowds. What goes around comes around, the saying went- Earth had a habit of drawing so many together in its darkest hours without any need for a collective banner for its people. Still, the sheer amount of powerful energies flooding his Scouter systems made him worried- who was friend, and who was foe? At least he learned a valuable lesson from last time to apply here.
After a moment, the cyborg shook his head. Carro turned to some of the lingering faces he recognized that would likely be shocked by his condition. He recognized Yogu, Russe, and Dion quickly. "...Oh, yeah. I died, but we had tech to fix that and more. Save the questions for later, please." but returned his attention back to the unfurling scene in quiet analysis. Carro grimaced at the mention of his own death, but an oddly smug smile spread across his face after. In some strange way he had Vocado and Cress to thank for the new power he and LEO discovered. But this time he wasn't letting his guard down.
"i lived bitch" - carro, probably ------------------------ Training Shell fuses LEO and Carro! Carro gives a whopping +66 PL to LEO, totalling their combined base form to 200,066. | Kayen PL: 190,000 |
With the general chaos going on with Earth and Carro’s apparent death Kayen decided it best to have Barb monitor the planet for any particularly impending dangers, while her deal with the President was ambiguous in its current state considering his lack of being alive, death was not necessarily a permanent condition and it would likely be to her benefit to have Carro know she kept an eye on his planet while he was ‘away’ And so when Kayen got a call from Barb about something being up she threw on her armor, decapsulated Fateburn and prepared for a fight, however the initial information Barb was able to provide on the ride over to the mountainous region was thankfully NOT like the last time Scallio caused her to head in to ‘protect’ the Earth, no he was not threatening a major population center, instead it seemed that some sort of fight was going on based off of power readings. A fight that suddenly caused Scallio’s power to skyrocket, to levels FAR above Oozaru. Sure technically it was whatever Scallio was doing that had prompted the alert, but really the worst he would do was destroy a mountain, nothing that properly threatened the planet from what the readings indicated, and so Kayen was able to feel a bit of pride as Barb gave her the rundown of the situation and as Kayen reached out with her senses to pick up Scallio’s now elevated power. He’d finally done it. Now she just needed to make sure whatever went on didn’t escalate beyond destroying a mountain or lead to Scallio’s death. Kayen departed the Stormbreaker just as Barb started picking up other incoming power signatures, it seemed this ‘little’ battle had attracted a lot of attention. Kayen arrived on the scene having expected Scallio, and the unknown but substantial power signature he had been fighting, and she DID find them easily enough, however even as she approached others seemed to flock to the area, she sensed a lot of familiar power signatures but just as many were unfamiliar and surprisingly some of those were VERY impressive. Vocado was a surprising addition to the ‘party’ but that would actually serve to benefit her, with the arrivals of Chime and Nashua the situation with him could be handled, it DID raise the question of where Cress was, as instead it seemed Vocado had Kalabas at his side today. While Vocado was a surprise addition he was not the MOST surprising. No that honor went to the apparently not dead Carro “Well well well, quite the party we’ve got going on here. Here I thought I’d just be popping in to congratulate Scallio on his transformation and make sure his fight didn’t end up cracking the planet in half, but it seems we have a LOT more going on as well” Kayen grinned as she floated toward the others giving a nod to those she was familiar and friendly with. “Carro, I assume that’s actually you in there? I assumed you’d be raised by the Dragon Balls but I shouldn't be surprised that you had a back up plan” There was a chance it was simply LEO but from what she had heard from their arrival it seemed that at the very least some part of the being was Carro or a facsimile of him. Kayen then turned her attention onto Vocado “If it weren’t for Carro I’d say you would be the biggest surprise appearance here Vocado. It’s been a while. I’ve been hearing some INTERESTING things about what you’ve been up to” Surprisingly where most of the others regarded the once King with seemingly unrelenting hostility Kayen spoke almost casually, maybe even a bit amused, the Queen in general appeared to be treating the situation rather casually not even arriving as a Super Saiyan or bothering to transform in the face of all the already powered up fighters.

1,604,176 / 1,203,132 PL - Narissa: 14,000 PL Threatening to level the mountain had set Aurora off and while that had been Scallio's intent he hadn't expected for her power to surge so suddenly. It caught him off guard, he'd barely registered her charge towards him and had no time to prepare a counter because of it. If it hadn't been for the timely intervention of Vocado, Scallio would have been minus one limb and tail. He gritted his teeth and frowned, "It's a pleasure to see you too Vocado." he said dryly, "This wouldn't be a problem if ascending hadn't taken so much out of me." his rage numbed the pain but he could still feel it faintly throbbing throughout his body.
"You're calling in Kalabas and Cress?" Scallio almost felt offended, did Vocado really have that little confidence in his ability to handle Aurora? He didn't say anything and it wouldn't have mattered either. Vocado had already made the call and in moments Kalabas arrived on the scene. The ghostly Saiyan was a blur of movement that went straight towards Aurora. Scallio shouted, "She's mine you bastard!" he wouldn't let killing her be stolen from him damn it! Not after what she'd taken from him, her death had to be by his hand and no one else's.
Unfortunately for Scallio the situation quickly evolved beyond his petty feud with Aurora. He didn't recognize Yogu but the ghastly apparition wasn't there for him rather he was there for Vocado. The mercenary rolled his eyes at the insult, "You talk too much." Scallio would have said more if he hadn't gotten pelted with energy blasts. They hadn't done any actual damage, he'd barely felt them truth be told, but it was irritating nonetheless.
"Who the hell?!?" there was no time to look for the one who had launched the attack.
One after another, warriors drawn to Mt.Frappe by the overwhelming energy that had turned it into a beacon, began to arrive. It wouldn't be until Nashua's entrance that Scallio recognized someone. "You've made a lot of enemies Vocado." he muttered, keeping his attention on Nashua as she approached them. Her behaviour was something Scallio hadn't seen from her before and it took him by surprise. She was angry and she spoke to Vocado with such vitriol in her voice. Had Scallio anything to say in the king's defensive he might have said it.
Instead Scallio focused on the voice intruding into his mind, "I'll stand down after I've killed that fucking Arcosian and destroyed her home. Anyone who gets in the way of that can join her in death." he wasn't going to back down. It didn't matter who showed up, Scallio was committed to seeing this through to the bitter end and Carro reminding him of Ginger Town only cemented that. The more he thought about it, the more this whole scenario felt like an extension of what had happened to him there.
Especially now that Kayen was here.
Kayen didn't address him directly but did speak to Carro and Vocado, what she'd said to the pair had all been background noise for Scallio. He'd gotten distraction by the pride he'd felt when hearing that she'd come just to see his transformation. It was strange, unexpected, and he didn't have time to dwell on it for very long. "I'm not going to stop this time Kayen, even if you order me. That Arcosian has to pay for Narissa's death." and then there was the shitstorm brewing around Vocado to deal with as well.

Aurora had little clue as to what was happening. One moment she had been about to deliver the finishing blow to Scallio, loping the arm of the Saiyan off, and the next... she was being hauled backwards through the air by Masque of all people, her final move shattered beyond relief by the arrival of another Saiyan. But no... it wasn't Masque. It never was. Kalabas Strongbone, the Saiyan responsible for the death of Lord Chill, amongst many other crimes that were often touted by the Arcosian government. The very same Saiyan who died in his encounter with Chill, and who had now... had now done his best to save Aurora's life. Even at the cost of damaging himself. For a moment, everything was still in Aurora's mind as she lay amongst the rubble of their entrance into the mountain's heart, simply staring at the Saiyan, before a multitude of things began to happen. First was the appearance of Dion(?!) tearing his way through the magical boundaries of the Heart, quickly coming over towards her and demanding answers to the Arcosian who's hearing was still ringing from being thrown through so many layers of ice and rock.
Shaking her head, Aurora did her best to sit up, a hand coming to her damaged heart gem as she did her best to try and breathe again. It was at this moment that she noticed a familiar shock of red hair signalling the arrival of Renuldo, and she waves a hand in a small panic. They needed... they needed to... "S-stay... away from him..." She manages to get out past the pain, even as sparks flew from her chest wound. She couldn't... she needed to... Slowly Aurora's body began to fade back to its usual winged form, the blue disappearing as her blades stopped glowing and shrank slightly. Letting out a gasp as something was cleared from her chest, Aurora leans forward with a cough from where she was sitting. Even then, while she did her best to catch up with everything that was happening, her scouter began to ping frantically. Shaking her head, she focuses upon the messages it was displaying, her eyes widening. Power signatures from all over, some she recognised, most she didn't, beginning to approach and coalesce around where she had been next to Scallio less than a minute prior. Amongst them, a signature Aurora knew all too well... but that was an issue for later. Right now there was worse things happening.
It was at this point that Russe entered the cave as well, and Aurora noted the growing thrum of the pillar in the centre of the Mountain's Heart. She had never heard it so loud before... It shook the world around the mountain, and only continued to grow louder and more powerful as the magical presence began to thicken to oppressive levels, although she wasn't exactly sure for what. And at the current point in time... it didn't matter. "Thank you..." She begins, looking up towards Kalabas as she struggles to rise, knees shaking. "But it won't work. They know everything." She taps her scouter, a grimace upon her face. "You were broadcasting. And even then... this is my, and a lot of others' home. I'm not leaving." She opened her mouth to say more, but before anything came out a voice boomed inside of her head. It was... familiar. Sparking a memory, Aurora's eyes widen. Chime. One of the powerful signatures her scouter was detecting, and although the Arcosian didn't remember him being this strong the last time they met she knew that right now was not the time to be questioning such a thing.
"Chime. This is Aurora." She had never encountered Telepathy before, and wasn't even sure if 'thinking back' was possible, but it was worth a try. "I am inside the mountain with others. Kalabas Strongbone is here. The Saiyan with a mohawk aims to destroy Mt. Frappe." Aurora desperately wished she had been able to do more research before everything went down hill like had just happened. While her Scouter recognised a few names that she had tagged beforehand during one of her many nights spent cataloguing powerful people in the galaxy, a large majority of the numbers displayed on the screen belonged to unknown sources. "I don't know what's happening out there, but if I could get any sort of support it would be appreciated. I need to recharge from my fight with the Saiyan, and even then... I don't think I can beat him." There was really very little Aurora could do at the moment, staring down Kalabas as she was. Standing to her full height, the Arcosian flares her wings in the wintery cave. Making herself seem as large as possible was an almost animalistic move, but it also served to shield the boys from view as Aurora stared down her saviour.
A part of her wanted to run. To follow Kalabas' advice and flee as far and as fast as she could. The being before her was beyond powerful compared to her current state, and even eclipsed her most powerful form. It would be the logical thing to do. After all, Mt. Frappe was really nothing more than a pile of rocks and some magic. But... she couldn't. Not only was the mountain her home, it had also tasked her with its protection. And even if that wasn't true, it would mean abandoning her... friends, to fight against Kalabas. "Stay behind me boys." She orders, voice sharp as she doesn't take her eyes off of Kalabas. He had saved her... but also told her his intentions for the next time they met. Aurora was too much of a pessimist to believe his goal would still be to keep her alive after she had denied what he told her to do, and so now the Arcosian found herself stuck in a tense stand off. "We don't need to fight Ma- Kalabas. You just saved my life, and I harbour no ill will toward you." Aurora needed to buy time, to recuperate.

There were few things in this universe that could surprise Vocado anymore. Kalabas arriving so suddenly, followed by viciously intercepting Vocado's strike to throw Aurora deep into the bowels of Mount Frappe, which was followed shortly by Kalabas unintentionally revealing his intention to let Aurora run free by leaving his Scouter comms active? That was surprising.
He had no words for the supposed traitor. There were a million reasons to stop and chew out the ghostly bastard until time stopped existing, but he did not have that luxury. In the moments that followed, Vocado was witness to what could only be described as Murphy's Law personified.
The first to make his presence truly known was a young lad in the skyline. He let loose a barrage of Ki toward the mountain, though it packed little power. Rolling his eyes, Vocado deflected the strikes from the red-haired lad with ease, responding in kind with a simple energy beam. If Reno didn't evade, he'd be floored near-instantly.
It didn't take long after that for the first of many old foes to arrive. Yogu didn't wait for the others to finish pouring in before he attacked. Ki erupting, the ethereal being assaulted Vocado. The Super Saiyan still had his wits about him, however shaken they may have been. With a simple motion, he raised his metal arm, blocking the sneaky blow with ease. Even still, it seemed the blow dented his arm. How annoying.
Vocado hadn't much time to dwell on the boy's intrusion, however. Dozens of warriors arrived within minutes of each other, no doubt spurred to act due to the malicious Ki that Vocado and Scallio exuded. Their presence was little more than troublesome at first, but as more powerful and recognizable faces arrived, the dread began to seep into the once-king's very essence. Yogu, the spectral martial artist, would have been trouble enough, but nearly everyone he'd ever faced off against arrived in short order.
To say Vocado's confidence was shaken would be, perhaps, an understatement.
"T-this is..."
Before he could decide what sort of breakdown to have, he was stopped by the sudden arrival of a far-too familiar face. Nashua, Queen of Arcose, had arrived. On her face sat utter contempt, and in her Ki bubbled forth determination and purpose. She was here to end this frivolous game. To stop whatever plans Vocado thought he had. Her taunts should have fallen on deaf ears, but Vocado's mental state had been shaken one too many times already.
"Tch. The Queen rides a high horse, it seems."
There was little holding back the dam. His calm demeanor wouldn't last long.
Chime and Oboe followed shortly, issuing a mental order to pick sides. Was that the Shinjin again, too? How bothersome. Perhaps the Kais really did have it out for him. If only he'd stayed a bit under the radar.
Floating up to meet Nashua, he glared back at her. The woman's gaze was piercing. She could see right through his bluff, he surmised. What looked like cold calculation was simply terror in disguise. Fear that one's life would amount to nothingness. She knew it because Vocado had admitted as much on more than one occasion. She knew the real mad king, not the mask he slipped on for his enemies.
He took a shaky breath, and uttered his best retort.
"If there's any regret I have, its that I didn't gut you that day."
His attention was torn, briefly, by more arrivals. Kayen, who seemed to be here for entirely separate reasons, garnered little more than a rude gesture from Vocado. She wasn't an issue today, and if she decided to intrude in this doomed afternoon? Well, it wouldn't change his fate anyways.
Carro, on the other hand, caught the prince's eye a little longer. He was dead, wasn't he? Well, he wasn't exactly himself anymore, one might suppose. An amalgam of machinery and consciousness cobbled together to form the shade of a Saiyan. It wasn't really Carro. The boy was still rotting somewhere in the cold.
"You'll get nothing from me, whelp!" His body shook. Just a little longer. He needed to at least pretend to be in control a little longer. "I don't need to explain myself to anyone, especially some sorry excuse for life like yourself. Run home, little thing. You'll need to recharge your batteries soon! Bahahahahaaaa!"
If only he had more time. If only he had more allies. If only he had one of those damned beans! Anything would make this easier. Hell, the Apparition's sage wisdom would be helpful too, but the wind didn't carry her today. She'd left him for dead on that island, and yet still he persisted. There had to be some way out. Some scheme or gimmick or deal.
The longer he thought on it, the more hopeless it seemed. More warriors poured in until the count cleared a dozen. If Nashua and them didn't do him in, the others certainly would try. He didn't have the stamina to hold out, but he lacked the guilt to stand down. If this was to be his end, it seemed fitting.
"So this is it, then? This is all you could muster to take me on? A handful of mages, two corpses, and some civilians? I really did a number on your forces, Chime."
His taunts were little more than a ruse. While they quipped back, Vocado would try his first desperate swing. With as much force as he could muster, he'd thrust his head straight toward Nashua, aiming to smash their heads together and disorient one of the two Queens. Succeed or not, he'd leap over Nashua, grabbing at her neck as he flipped end over end, and tossing her towards Chime and Oboe.
With any luck, the three of them would be sent careening into the wastes. Not anywhere specific, mind, but simply far away from the mountain proper. He needed them away from the main conflict. Away from Scallio and Kalabas.
It wasn't much, he supposed, but that sliver of good decided he ought to do something nice in his final moments.
Clicking his scouter on, he growled out a command.
"Kalabas you bastard! If you want to make up for your idiocy, then make sure Scallio gets out of here alive. It's our only chance! Understand?!"
Why was he doing this? He wasn't sure. Maybe it was insanity. It probably was. There was no running away, so the only course of action was to give it his all. To make them work for each drop of blood; every broken sweat and panted breath. They'd bleed twice over.
"Hahaha! Come on then! I'll take the whole lot of you at once!"
Vocado blurred, and suddenly he was near Yogu. With a single motion, he'd launch forwards, aiming to clothesline the martial artist, and send the both of them rocketing toward wherever it was that Nashua and the others had ended up.
KP: 4/7 Attempting to make a split with: Nashua, Chime, Oboe, Yogu. If Dorei and Carro wish to come along, they can do so as well, though they are not specifically targeted by any of Vocado's actions this round.

What was it that the saiyan had told himself? A perfect plan, in every conceivable way? In all fairness never before had he been confronted by all manner of warriors coming, no, pouring from the four cardinal winds. Some energies he recognized, like Kayen, Nashua and that droll youth Yogu, most belonged to people he had never fought or even seen before. The focus of those with power to match a super saiyan were Scallio and Vocado, leaving Kalabas to wonder how could they have made so many enemies in so little a time. The ghost was not without a front to hold, that much became clear when a tic of a saiyan came crawling from the chasm he had made. A tic, yes, for not only was he small and annoying, the Duke knew many more would come hopping should he let him live. The comparison was made apt when another saiyan came following shortly, this one with blue hair and of sturdier frame. Kalabas would brand him a hummingbird, bigger and more noticeable than a tick, and made all the more annoying by it... an issue to be corrected in seconds. The Duke held both at blast-point, in spite of Aurora's plead to stand back. Was it directed at them or him? The uncertainty manifested in wilder sparks and then perfect red spheres pervading thick, dark flames. A chance for escape had been given to her, these others would not be extended the same amnesty. A declaration by the arcosian did give him pause, besides her wary thanks. He had broadcasted everything, whisper, lie and move... to Vocado. Vocado! The ki orbs remained floating in place as his hands mashed the buttons on the scouter's sides, deactivating the flatline signal along with any but his connection to the rest of the squad. He would have also deactivated himself in shame for the briefest second, but this was hardly something he couldn't plan around. Cynical as it was, now was not the time for Vocado to lambast the Duke verbally, or otherwise. An unfamiliar voice chimed in Kalabas' brain to be quickly tuned out. The saiyan already knew that the mountain was ancient, as mountains were known to be, his priority was the message barked into his ear. Vocado wanted Scallio alive? Then he would live. "Vocado, this is Kalabas. Message received and understood. Make room for a lecture on scouter etiquette for later. Over." he half-heartedly quipped... Five on one. He was taking them away. To protect them both. He would die. For them. "To glory, you crazy son of a bitch."Kalabas fell silent, somber, putting the scouter away. As he sighed a capsule emerged from the palm of his hand, which he flicked behind his head to great distance through the tunnel and blizzard and against Scallio's chestplate. 'Senzu Candy Cane' read the ribboned red capsule, followed by high claims of the treat inside and its effects. Silly, yes, but no more than an all-healing bean.
Kalabas gives Candy Senzu to Scallio! "..." Kalabas snapped his fingers, hurling twin blasts behind his back and sealing off the opening he had made with a thunderous rockslide, phantasmagoric chains and tendrils roping and weaving themselves into the rock to form a greater barrier. No matter how deadly and decisive his movements were lethargic, as if thought had meandered to times long lost "I saved your life," he began with new clarity in his eyes "and you chose to squander it on a pile of rock and ice. My battle brother is about to be torn to pieces, and all the while I must correct my mistake... Mercy is a virtue lost on you." He turned to the others, hiding behind her wings or otherwise "And you, pests... just go away. What is it that you plan to do, really? Nick my finger? My time would be better wasted talking to a door."

The next few seconds were very... Interesting. Yogu's mind was focused entirely on strategies for how he could beat Vocado and the other saiyans with what he had. He didn't realize a few people had joined the fight at first. It all fell to the static in the back of his mind. But he was snapped out of thought when Nashua, Chime, Oboe, that Dorei guy, and... Was that Carro but a robot? "Oh, hey guys! Took ya long enough to show! I was startin' to think me and all these strangers were gonna have to take him on." Yogu was a little upset that he wouldn't be able to fight Vocado by himself. But glory or whatever wasn't important in this fight. It was about stopping the Saiyan before he could start causing some serious damage.
One look at Vocado and Yogu could tell he was about to break. He knew he had already lost. Despite this, he just kept talking. "Yo Bastard! You should remember your own damn words you said to me back on that Island! What were they... Somethin' like... You're copin' with loss by running your mouth 'til you can't even recognize the words comin' out. YOU'VE ALREADY LOST BASTARD!" Yogu couldn't keep up while Vocado launched an assault at Nashua and his two Namekian pals. The next thing he knew, the Saiyan was clotheslining him! Pushing through the pain, Yogu lurches out and grabs on tight to Vocado's metal arm with one hand to keep the Saiyan in punching range while they were sent flying to wherever they'd end up landing. With the other three fists, Yogu launched an uncontrollable flurry of blows at Vocado's head! On the outside, Yogu was the definition of fury, screaming and punching with everything he had. But on the inside, there was a strange calmness and clarity in his mind. But that calmness and clarity would deteriorate as he telepathically talked to Vocado.
"I'm tellin' you right now Vocado, I'm gonna be the one to kill you. I may not have the biggest energy or be the strongest in this fight or whatever, but I'm gonna be the one to send you to hell. You took my best friend from me and are threatening to destroy the planet I was born and raised on. So if I'm bein' honest, I don't give a damn about anyone else in this fight or why they're comin' after you. You really pissed me the hell off, way more than the Stargoons! So you're about to lose to the Ghost of some kid that got possessed by some dumbass demon. You're goin' to lose to the biggest fuckup of the century! So what does that make you...? You better be afraid of me, got it? If you've got any brains left you'll try to take me out first. I'm gonna make sure my name is burned in your senseless mind so you won't forget it for the eternity you'll have in Hell! Remember the FUCKING name... Om-Yogu you BASTARD!"
OOC: Bruh.
Yogu goes to the split with Vocado and da bois. Yogu uses [UT2] Telepathy to do funni scream at Vocado.

A first he thought he had perhaps missed his targets due to a lack of response, but the energy blast that returned soon proved other wise as it took everything he had to avoid the blast. Despite the distance the attack still managed to graze his shoulder sending him to the forest floor in shock, the ordinary blast form Vacado might as well be a world shattering attack to him as he the ever so slight graze tore though his skin leave a bloody but superficial wound on him. Writhing in pain Reno tried to reign in his senses as he struggled to his feet, his head pounding as his heart raced in both fear and desperation. Taking a moment he finally sensed the others slowly arrive to face off against Aurora's attackers each one's power just as staggering as the last, their ki was nearly blinding to him. It was only when he heard the voice of earths guardians that he knew for sure that he no longer needed to stay here and he could find his friend while these strangers kept one of them occupied.
"Sorry who ever you are...I am no hero I am just here to save my friend"
He muttered as he quickly rushed off hidden by the tree's to the mountain, the ki form his clone being a perfect beacon for him to follow as he made his way though the soon to be war zone. It was not until he made his way up the mountain that he saw someone he knew, the blue majin was a recent stranger he had encounter but he was thrilled to see her none the less. His encounter allowed him to know she was not the one attacking Aurora and more then likely was here to help someone. The girls kind nature was perhaps not fit for the battle field in his opinion but she was strong, stronger then him even and he would need her help if he was to save his friend. Sooner was better as he flew down to the two and quickly held his hands up ready to take the frozen girl form her.
"Suri! Strange to run into you again but we need move quickly! My friend is fighting for her life in the mountain and I could really use your help to save her, I lack the power to help her. Please I can take care of this girl and follow after you since ill just slow you down in my state"
He explained quickly, his voice shaky form rushing though the forest in a attempt to reach Aurora. Panting he knew he could not fight with her and if she refused he needed to just let it happen as it would take to much time to argue about it. With a sigh looked for a moment before looking up his eyes pleading a emotion that was more then a little foreign to him as he pleaded again.
"She does not deserve any of this please I know I am asking a lot for you to risk going to help with such powerful figures ahead. If you can't help just go its not safe here."
Regardless of her action he would then proceed to head deeper into the mountain, the echoing power threatening to consume before he ever even reached the battle. ======================================================================================================
His other form was quickly making its way up the other side of the mountain when he saw the opening in the mountain due to the recent battle, the strange cracks still glowed with a otherworldly light as he made his way though them. Each crack fissures off into another set of cracks making all but impossible for him to figure out which way was the correct one but none the less he pushed on towards scene of the fight. His eyes could only gap at the scene ahead of him as the strange figure stood in front of Aurora, their powers a ocean of energy and for that moment alone he wanted to run away never to return. Only though a great deal of willpower was he able to keep himself grounded as he stared on, his face turning into a twisted grin as he tried summon his courage.
"Hey paper cuts are a bitch!"
He finally said form behind the others, his smile cheekily masking his terror as he prepared himself for a battle he had no chance in winning. Pulling himself towards Aurora the clone took up his stance and prepared to fight, his sword shaking ever so slightly as his eyes shifted between each of these powerful figures. In truth he had no idea what to do and how to even help escape much less fight this monster off. But he know he would be in hell long before he let her die alone in some dark cave to a freak like this who wanted to kill her for god knows what. It was only then he noticed the others standing beside her, their stance suggesting they were also on her side for whatever their reason was. It was good to know he was not alone in trying to help her but it also meant he had more to worried about in trying to get Aurora to escape this place.
"Look others will make short work of your friend outside and will soon be along to clean you up if you take to long. Anyway I can get you to back off and be on your way? I think its good for both of us if we don't fight here you know? Use your head a little or your gonna end up dead as well."
He reasoned to them, his hopes looking bleak as he tried to persuade them to leave before it got bloody. It was most likely gonna end in his death but he was not gonna run away. This foolish endeavor was not like him at all, his training had always put himself first over anyone else but for some reason it did not matter anymore. Turning to Aurora he smiled with a sorry grin, his face at peace with what was happening.
"Sorry I took so long but did I ever say your a pain? Doubt I can get you to run while I hold them off if I can?" ======================================================================================================

Normally, under heavy amounts of stress, Dion performed quite well. But with the immediate overflow of information and the arrival of several stronger power levels right on top of where he was residing, his head was indeed spinning. It was ridiculous- first several more warriors of the highest caliber began to appear once more, and then all the sudden he was hearing voices within his head that weren't his own-?! Was he going crazy from the pressure? Dion sure as hell thought he was. He hadn't even thrown a punch yet and he was already feeling sick in the gut. Hyperventilating was never something he did either, but now it was as if someone flicked a switch and he was unable to reign in his breath, inhaling and exhaling at an erratic rate as his eyes peered all over the insides of the cave walls, as if trying to find something to focus on, something to latch him back onto reality- something that was a reminder of why he dragged his sorry ass out here.
It was as if Kami had heard his plea, and all the sudden he felt the energies of two other people he just so happened to be quite familiar with in very close proximity to himself and Aurora. The first was Russe, and while his own power signature seemed a LOT smaller than usual, he assumed it was because of his own doing, and that it was to mask his own presence within the presence of everyone else's god-like energies. Turning to face him, he was about to answer his question on shaky legs and in wavery tones as he suddenly felt the second energy- of which he was also quite well acquainted with. It was Suri, the sweethearted (no pun intended) Majin gal who had just made her return from a several month long coma. Only for her to jump back immediately into the deep end it seemed, what with getting herself involved with a situation that included several Super Saiyans out for blood.
After realizing that he was fighting for so much more than his life or Aurora's, and that if his will failed to prevail and hold fast here, Dion managed to get a grip and get over himself- clutching his eyes closed for a moment and shaking himself before reopening them, a renewed and evermore determined blase within his pupils as he said in a more grounded and objective tone, "Listen, Rus, we've got ourselves in a bit of a schtick here, and I have to warn you- it is quite a dangerous one indeed. If I am to be objective here, you could very much possibly die, especially considering how strong you are at the moment. But, I know that's probably not gonna convince you though, yeah?"
Grinning slightly, he slapped Russe on the back in a friendly and comforting manner, managing to say in his usual jubilant tone, "Honestly, it's good to have someone here I can trust. But I don't want ya getting yourself killed, alright? Not before we live to see your hair shine gold."
He then turned back toward Aurora, just in time for him to see her say 'Thank you', to whoever was up above them. Looking above themselves once more, toward the larger power level, also just in time to see them begin to close off one of the openings the two had made behind him- oh, they meant business, now did they? Saying to Aurora in an unconvinced tone, "Well, my Arcosian friend, you say that, but then the figure above us doesn't seem mighty pleased with your decisions, now do they-?" He chose to focus on Aurora first, as she was worse for wear, and so he moved slightly while within her wings toward her, saying as he began to survey her wounds, "Yknow, while I do appreciate the gesture, I'm sure the guy above us, Kalabas did you say-? Is well aware of our presence..Plus, I'm no coward. I'm not gonna hide and let you take another pounding when you're clearly in no state to take another one." After looking Aurora over for a couple moments, making a couple 'tut tut' noises, he turned to face the presence above them once more.
Dion looked quite peeved at the fact that he was addressed as nothing more than a meager pest to be slapped off the wrist of a being seemingly more advanced than he, and in angered reply, he said, "It's Saiyans like you that make my blood boil, you pompous prick. If you think I'm nothing more than dust to be blown off the proverbial shelf, then you've got another thing coming. I may not be much but I'm certainly more than just some minor annoyance."
While he did believe part of what he had said, Dion was also well aware that as it stood now, he was absolutely dwarfed by the stronger and currently superior Super Saiyan, and so if they were to have any chance of achieving at least even a standstill against such a threat, the younger Saiyan was well aware of their need of back up. So, choosing to try and regain Suri's attention, apparently she had been busying herself with Kami knows what, he looked around for a couple moments, trying to make out her estimated location. After sensing her presence, he lifted his palm and fired off a small Ki blast, the ball breaking through the mountain walls with relative ease and landing what he assumed was near enough Suri so that it would both grasp her attention and lead the Majin to the rest of the group.
Even though he also sensed the familiar signature of Nashua somewhere up above, and the thought of alerting her to their impending peril seemed tempting, he also knew that she most likely had her hands full with the several other Super Saiyans along with her. So that would mean that Suri, Russe, himself, and Aurora would have to made do. Well, that was until all-the-sudden Reno made his appearance.
"Every little bit counts, I suppose," Dion said with a grin as he saw the man slip into a shaky defensive stance, attempting to reason with the other two boys there that this was no enemy to trifle with, and that continued interference would most likely get themselves killed.
Feeling a little more confident now that everything was sorted out, the bartender made defender of the mountains of madness he's found himself in slowly walked in front of Reno, his white aura now flaring up and outward like a wild flame, as he said, "With all due respect, guy-I-saw-in-a-bar-with-those-other-two-people-doing-karaoke, I think you'd fare much better with us rather than without. Plus, Auroras my friend too, and this bastards got a one way ticket to whatever-the-heck awaits him in the Otherworld if he even tries to hurt her anymore than she's already been." "No hard feelings though, Kalabas, was it? It sounds like you were helping Aurora in some odd way before I came along."
"...but even if I am but a bug to your mountain, I refuse to let you step on me so easily."

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
Like the calm before a storm nothing truly did remain forever. In Sanbu's heart he knew that things would not be so still but never had he imagined that matters would get so complicated. It was quick, sudden and unforeseen. A most unusual sight by any definition as he came to be aware of numerous power-levels quite foreign to him. What was likely just a simple fight against two individuals had now evolved into something far greater than its previous scope. There stood a time to ask questions and a moment for combat. Now however, he would do what he thought best. The Majin had not the time to think things over and assess the situation, the mountain risked destruction and a war was upon the doorstep of his domicile. Through means unseen the Majin would hear a voice speak to him from within the confines of his consciousness. Whoever's voice this was made claims he found rather hard to accept given their lack of visible proof. While there were many strong individuals present it only furthered his sense of doubt for what this individual stated. He had heard many delusional people in the past and he knew not if he could simply just believe in the words of a person who made such bold claims now. What mattered to him most of all was his home and the safety of it, the mountain was all that mattered to him in truth. Whatever appeal he tried to make to Reno had not succeeded. He would not pay it any mind, pushing forwards with his plans as he continued the search for swift resolution. There were many fights to pick from but of all of them there lain one that seemed the most opportune. Granted the ability of ki sensing, Sanbu could isolate certain people and draw the weaker from the strong. It was clear as day to him that one group of people were simply being unfavored here while another were targeting but a handful of people with a capable chance on their side. Justice did not reign often inside of him but at a time like this he felt as if there was a chance to succeed if he simply chose the more virtuous road. He had not the power to kill the weaker individuals and live to see through it so he might as well pick the winning team as it seemed currently. As a native of Mt. Frappe Sanbu became rather familiar with the mountain in suffice enough time. He was past the age of sixty and his understanding of the location knew little bounds. Having overheard the words of Reno he made haste, flying towards the mountain's depths through one of its many cave systems. The sight of both an Arcosian and what looked like a Saiyan caught his attention greatly. Brutality seemed certain to follow either of their persons or more so their species to be exact. It appeared that they both brought their own allies along with them and in rapid fashion. Standing among the the small gathering of individuals with his eyes now fully open. Furthest from the crowd he stood with eyes full of passionate feeling, his arms naturally crossed with one another. "I know not why you have fought today Arcosian but I know not pleasure for what it has brought to this place which I care for so tenderly. Whatever reason that was for I suppose that does not matter now. What is and what isn't are beside us, I see that you have aroused many people as well. Well, there's no stopping it I gather." The Majin then went on to point at Kalabas. "I think we can have a lot of fun if we all play our part correctly here. We've already come this far." TAGS: Additional Note:
