Kayen remained still as she awaited Scallio’s choice, only oocasionally glancing at his mother to keep track of her to make sure she did not interfere AGAIN before Scallio made his choice, it was entirely possible her idiotic attack had ALREADY disrupted Kayens attempt to get the newly awakened Super Saiyan to stand down but perhaps the weight of her words combined with the impact of the hit he had taken would be enough to handle things.
The wait to determine if that was the case was rather abruptly interrupted as the world around them began to shake as a massive power surge came from the area where Vocado should have been getting his face stomped in, Kayen had so far paid little attention to the power signatures over there mostly expecting that the sheer volume of fighters present would get things done quick and efficiently, Nashua alone should have been able to take down Vocado, with aid from three others, both of whom Kayen assumed were trained in the Namekian healing arts.
It should have never been an issue.
And yet as the world shook with the power behind the attack being launched and the ambient energy finally settled enough for Kayen to get a solid read on those present, what she found was DEEPLY disturbing, the fighter who had caused the surge of energy was gone entirely, perhaps consumed by his own attack, Nashua’s power was barely present, very clearly in critical condition and dropping rapidly, and somehow Vocado was not gone. What the HELL had happened?!
None of those present were unaware that something big had gone down, Scallio clearly had the least grasp on things as he took the massive surge as a chance to take off after the Arcosian again while Carro quickly powered up and took off for the fight with Vocado encouraging her to join him quickly. The Queen was left in a frustrating position, she WANTED to handle Scallio but this seemed…. Bigger…
What made things a bit easier was Scallios mother chiming in that she would be taking off after Scallio “Do yourself and him a favor, take him down quick and get him out of here. Let him know if he goes against my orders and his group’s connection to me and my Kingdom is done, and if I see him I’ll put him down permanently.” Kayen let out a sigh as she took her focus off of the now departing Scallio and Amara and focused back on the fight. Nashua’s power was still dropping fast and with no ready sign of stopping.
She powered up once more and took off after Carro, perhaps it HAD been a mistake to exercise so much restraint when it came to killing recently. Had she just killed Vocado when she took the throne from him this would not have become an issue, had she killed Sensoa long ago he would not have had a chance to kill Tarch, and perhaps now if she had just killed Scallio when he first stubbornly refused to follow her orders she could have joined the fight before whatever had caused Nashua’s death.
