Background
During Age 2994 Cress was born to two full-blooded saiyans on Planet Shikk, a world belonging to the Saiyan Kingdom.
The first few years of his life were of no importance as he floated in an incubator, left to develop by his parents. Once the timer reached zero, they would remove the boy, eager to begin his training. Measuring his battle power when they got the chance, they would be pleased with what they saw: a battle power higher than the average. That didn't truly make Cress stand out, though. What made him stand out was his unchanged nature, just as his parents, grandparents, and so on held. They were unchanged by the softening of the Saiyan Solar Empire, which had devolved into the Saiyan Kingdom centuries ago. He was a genetically pure saiyan.
Cress was trained to be a warrior from birth, just as his parents had been by theirs. Alongside this, he attended the Saiyan Academy. He performed just as expected, becoming one of, if not the top, students that attended the academy. After years of training and refinement, Cress joined his parents in their mercenary work for the most part, also enlisting in the Saiyan Army. This fact came back to bite the Kingdom in the butt when the World Trade Fleet invaded the Kingdom's territories, the army falling rather quickly. Cress managed to survive, managing to find a pod and flee to Earth, being one of the few that escaped the fleets' wrath.
