He managed to grab Russe's ankle but leaped up to avoid Suri attack. That was close but he was able to move just in time. He swung him around throwing Russe right at Suri. But she seemed to be ready for the attack. She managed to catch Russe and he was not able to keep them off their feet. Typha looked at Russe as he formed a ball of energy and fired it right at him. Typha flipped his sword into his hand and pulled the blade out. The blade glared in the sunlight. He couldn't fight hand to hand agiasnt these two he was aware of that now. Russe was the weak link in a spar he would need to defeat him first. Typha brought the sword back. "Sorry about this but to follow what you said Suri. Batter up!" Typha swung the blade at Russe ball of ki sending it flying back with ease. It flew back at Russe with even more energy then he had used. The ball aimed to slam into Russe and deal heavy damage but not knock him out. He didn't want to ko him but he did have to defend himself. He could not make it that easy for them.

From the start, Suri hadn't had much thoughts about winning against Typha. Winning wasn't what mattered. Awakening the fighter within her and bringing it out once more was her objective, and what mattered was the workout she would get, the experience, and what she could learn from it. Of course winning would be nice, but she didn't know whether that was possible, or just how strong the soldier was...
The Konatsian prince was handling himself well against the blue pair, and to Suri it seemed like he was defending himself well. Her snowball whizzed past Typha's legs as he leaped above its course, the orb making a rough impact with the beach with a -smack- as it exploded, and irritatingly, sand got everywhere. At least she had caught Russé. Suri briefly smiled back, before her focus returned to the battle. Russé was standing on his feet, ready for a ki blast of his own, 'Root Cannon'. This made Suri think, what would she name the attack she had done just now? Perhaps she would modify it, make it a bit more ice cream-y, and make it into a stronger technique? Things to do later, as she needed time to properly invent techniques.
Right now was a good time to try out one that she had developed but hadn't had the chance to use yet. Typha drew his sword, did that mean he was going to get a bit more serious? Perhaps. Perhaps not. He used the blade like a bat, whacking Russé's beam right back at him. That wasn't how baseball worked! Well, they weren't playing baseball, to be fair. Suri had something to say about that. "Banana Splitter."
Suri's subtle aura became briefly visible as her energy surged, and she charged forward. As Suri was rid of the white light soon after, a yellow glow instead found its way around her legs. With all her might, Suri delivered a flying roundhouse kick to the ki that had been sent back, which split the energy into three. As her foot made contact with the broken beam, the Majin's icy magic and ki flowed into the parted energy, producing three new energy projectiles. Brown, white, and pink, the volleyball-sized orbs shot toward Typha. "She shoots..." Suri muttered under her breath, her lips curling up into a smile. Then, whether she 'scored' or not, Suri spun around as she flew forward herself, throwing out a flurry of kicks to top it all off.

Russe clenched his fists with excitement and mouth curved to a satisfied grin, his attack is heading for Typha with presumably no resistance until the konatstain removed his sword from its sheath and swung the blade against the hot-boiling energy right back at the source. The expressive mask containing his smile is now swapped out for disbelief and lack of accepting the action was possible, watching his own attack approaching the half-breed when it's supposed to flow in the other direction. "Oh Come On!" he could try to afterimage out of danger but there isn't any time to do such a thing, or maybe he could take it like a champ, it's not like you can get hurt from your own attack...right?
Russé put his arms in front of him for protection, a cross formation if you will, bracing for impact. The energy beam drew closer and closer, becoming much harder to deny the truth, this attack packed more power than its initial output and Russe is in a world of trouble. The young adult flinched and shield his face imagining torturous pain, however nothing happened, his sparring partner Suri reflected Root Cannon back at Typha using a roundhouse kick, the energy wave packing more potency than he expected. Russé observed his attack split into three projectiles of various color, puzzled on what just happened, he would be lying if he thought it wasn't impressive. "Nice! That looks very effective, what did you do?" asking Suri.

Typha batted Russe blast right back at him. He had to admit he had a pretty good swing. Maybe he should take a gander in one of those baseball leagues. It could be a nice change of pace and give him something fun to do. Though it seemed Suri was not as appreciative of his masterful battering. In fact, she kicked the blast right back and split into three. His robot eye beeped to life calculating the speeds each blast came out. Typha scanned where he should be when each blast came out and began to move his body to do what had to do. Typha dodged each blast by inches his eyeball scanning the place he should be in each moment. Then when Suri kicks came using his robotic eye he was able to dodge the kicks as well. Just moving his body out of the way of each kick before it landed. Though midway through the barrage one punch did land causing him to flip back.
The light in his fake eye turned on leaving him blind on one side. So to compensate he focused his ki so he could sense both of there powers. With that set up he was ready to go. Though he had to think about who to attack. Suri seemed to have used a very powerful attack and that meant Russe would be exposed. In battle, it was always best to attack the weak point. This time he'd not get a chance to take it. Typha kicked off the ground rushing at Russe. He drew his sword ki surrounding the blade so he didn't cut Russe. He aimed to hit Russe over the head with the blade and then kick him in the stomach.

Oh my god, that was draining! The untested technique had left Suri panting for air while she waited for her energy to return. Perhaps it was best that she used it more carefully in the future. Even though Suri's barrage had strained her a lot, Typha avoided them all, almost effortlessly so...all of her blasts, all of her kicks, all but one. Suri's disappointment left her mouth. "Guh- Wh- How?" So fast...almost mechanical, it seemed. "Not very effective..." Suri only got to say. "Gh-" She winced and raised her guard, expecting retaliation. One that did not come to her. Instead, Typha was aiming for Russé? Suri raised an eyebrow in confusion at his choice. Wasn't she vulnerable like this? ...But perhaps, that also meant she couldn't defend him, either.
Suri was hunched forward, her hands placed on her knees, and too busy catching her breath, she could not stop Typha's strikes that headed toward Russé. As soon as a sliver of ki returned to her, Suri pushed her upper body up with her hands, ready to rejoin the fray. The Majin's arms once again stretched out, and her hands flew toward the Konatsian like grappling hooks. An attempt to stop him by grabbing him? No, a bit too late. Instead, Suri balled her hands up into fists, attempting to hit Typha's back with punches aimed at his back, ranged punches with her elongated arms. Then, Suri grabbed either Typha or the ground beneath him, before quickly making her arms return to their normal length, causing her to fly forward. Using this to her advantage, she aimed her feet at Typha, trying to land a flying kick on his torso.

What did she mean not effective? Russé is puzzled by her answer, she is able to redirect turn his attack into a much cooler one and not get hurt from it, what could possibly make her doubt its capabilities? Russé faced Typha to get an answer, watching the konatstain dodge all of the projectiles like a professional fighter, even Suris kicking strikes didn't land a single hit, this guy is moving like water, Russe couldn't catch his mouth dropping into the sand. "Seriously!? He dodged all of that!?" exclaimed in confusion.
He is beginning to question if both of them stand a chance against him, teamwork doesn't appear to work out unless the pair of them grow stronger, if only the hybrid had access to his great ape form, that will surely even the odds. "What are we gonna do now? It's obvious he has an advantage over us. got any more bags of tricks up your sleeve?" asking Suri while focusing on their opponent. Typha scanned their power levels and seems to have the right idea of gunning straight for Russe, causing the latter's teeth to grit in anticipation of what's coming next. There is no use in dodging and striking with a counterattack the swordsman would shrug it off and laugh in his face, the last part is an exaggeration.
Typha drew out his blade and coat it with Ki, the metallic weapon lunged downward toward Russé's head, prompting the hybrid to fold his arms in a cross formation once again for protection. The arms blocked the sword however the pain his limbs received from the attack is unavoidable, he can feel the combination of a shape object and energy hurt like a truck, no doubt there is a mark or bruise left on his skin. ""Oof!" his stomach is wide open to receive a kick, sending the blue half-sayian off the ground and into the air.
Russé's body fell on the sand and picked himself up seconds after, dusting himself off. Emerald green eyes facing Typha once again, wondering why did he only attack him so far and not Suri who is much stronger? Did he know Russe is much weaker out of the pair, if so he's being smart, why waste time on fighting stronger foes when you can snuff out the weak? If Russe is that kind of person he wouldve done the same, however, the male likes a challenge from a worthy fighter. "Oh I get it, take out the small fry then deal with the big fish, you're pretty pragmatic arent you" a smile curled on the right side of his cheek.
The hybrid dashed towards the swordsman, moving in a zig-zag path attempting to skewer his focus from erratic movements and catching up to Suri, once he drew close Russe flipped over Typha, landing behind him. Hoping the majin woman's striking ability can keep his attention on her, while Russe does his thing. The half-saiyan attempted to throw a kick on the other side of his waist, while Suri hits the other, then he discharged a Ki blast on his back attempting to take the konatstain down.

Typha charged forward at Russe his blade out. His good eye looked over at Suri she seemed to be sad her attacks missed. Guess she didn't realize it took Typha using his mechanical eye. He had a blind spot now which of course would be a pain. His robotic eye would take some time to reboot. In the past, this was his greatest weakness but now he could sense ki as well. Typha sword slammed into Russe's arms but he managed to endure the blow. But his kick hit him dead on sending him flying. Typha landed and kicked off flying at Russe. It was his chance to finish it. But then he felt Suri power approaching. He spun one arm reaching to block his vitals as her fist hit him in the chest. Typha used his ability of flight to fly back so he was not grabbed after being punched. Typha looked as blood leaked from his mouth. Though he quickly landed wiping the blood away. "Guess I got a bit cocky." It'd not be that easy to defeat them.
He looked at Russe who seemed to had figured out his plan. He was aiming for Russe since he was the weak link. "You're correct. In a fight like this, you gotta take out the weakest target first. However, it won't be that easy. Your both coordinating with each other quite well. The fight just began and I'm shocked you both have such chemistry in your movements." Typha raised his sword back up to guard as he looked at Russe. Suri launched herself at him causing him to spin. She grazed him the blow rattling his bones. "Tch." She was strong he had to be careful not to get too much. Of course, being off-balanced as Russe hit his kick to his side. "Geh." Despite Russe being a lot weaker he had a good kick. That hurt and the ki blast knocked him to the ground. Typha quickly flipped back to his feet swiping his blade at both of them. He sent two slashes of ki at them. It was time to go all out. He could not hold back if he wanted to win this spar.

Suri supposed Russé was right. It certainly seemed like Typha was just...strong, and fast. She guessed her technique wasn't ineffective after all, but it was just that there was a power gap. Yes, Suri had not realized Typha's use of his now-disabled robotic eye. To Russé's question, Suri responded with "N-Not that I know of... How about you?" Did he have any transformations, powerups, or secret techniques? Suri grimaced as she saw Typha's attacks at Russé connect, her mind rushing to regain her composure as fast as possible. At least Suri got a second wind, and her distanced punches had landed, too! Since Suri's grab attempt missed, her outstreched arms went down to the ground below, readying her to spring forward like she was about to do a twisted version of pole vaulting.
Russé's theory was confirmed to be correct by Typha, as he revealed his plans to...take out the weaker fighter first, apparantly the hybrid. "I'm the stronger target?" Suri asked as she panted, catching her breath. She hadn't been sure. The Konatsian prince gave pointers, much to the appreciation of the Majin. Suri smiled. It was nice to know(both hear and see) that her and Russé's chemistry was good, whether it was coincidence or not. This was their first fight together!
Suri wouldn't have been opposed to giving him a high five, if she hadn't been busy hurling herself toward Typha. Suri's kick had barely missed, and momentum kept her flying forward. Suri spun around and shot a snow-white burst of ki in Typha's direction. Suri tried to stop herself in the air, but the speed at which she went was doubled, tripled, even! Suri screamed when Typha's ki slash hit her torso straight on, searing cloth and rending gummy flesh, while also knocking her far, far away... Straight into some coconut trees, snapping them like twigs one after the other. With some 'CRACK-'s and a 'THUD-', Suri made impact with the ground, shrubbery and dust flying as she landed.
Suri's aura dimmed...
...but she wasn't out of the fight. While lying on her stomach, Suri lifted her hands, pointing at Typha with one hand while gripping that hand with the other...kind of like a pistol. From the tip of her index finger, Suri fired magically conjured icicles. She intended to snipe Typha from afar, while she would stay in this comfortable position and regain the remainder of her strength before jumping back in. Six precise shots were aimed at each of Typha's shoulders, arms and legs. Hopefully they would at the very least distract Typha, and help Russé land another hit.

Their coordinated assault did wonders for the pair, Typha won't stay down for very long but the achievement of knocking him down is enough to bring him joy, teamwork does pay off regardless of the difference in power. "Nope I got nothin" replying to Suri, he didn't have any fancy transformations or cool-looking reflective techniques, all he possessed is an energy wave and afterimage. The konatstain confirmed his suspicion of his strategy and complimented on Suri and Russé's ability to work in harmony "We make a pretty good team don't we?" flashing the blue timid majin a cheeky grin. Suri wondered if she is the stronger target, an answer Russé is happy to oblige "Yup!" confirming her strength, did she know how to sense energy? He'll ask her about it later.
Typha granted them little time to pat themselves on the back, a wave of energy created from his sword, threatening to slice the duo into shreds if they don't do something about it. Suri wasn't so lucky, she took the brunt of the attack knocking the poor girl elsewhere and out of sight. "Suri!" Russe snapped her direction for signs of her energy signature, its there but it's faint, he tried to run for her location to check on her well-being, not paying attention to the second ki slash targeting the blue man to make his day a living hell "Urgh!" body flung into the air and shortly slammed the ground, face dug in the sand in humiliation, his brain sent neurotransmitters to induce pain all over his back, the thought of a massive scar on his back being a reality sent a chill in his muscles, gonna have to wait until he returned back home to take a look. He could feel cold air blowing on his backside, implying there is a hole on his shirt, if so then he'll pay a local store a visit to buy a new one.
Russe took a short while to stand back up, relying on his arms and knees for support, head snapped at Typha and teeth mashed together, not in a surge of anger but in a dread wave of a panic. With Suri out of the picture Russe is unsure of what to do next. Running away would be useless and he doesn't have anything to defend himself, the only thing left to do is fight to the very end. "It's you and me pal, no more holding back!"the young man barked and prepared a battle stance. The half saiyan scooped up sand and ran towards the swordsman, getting closer Russe would throw sand in his face attempting to obscure his vision, if successful Russe would hop backward a reasonable distance and discharge another energy wave, a much bigger size this time. Icicles seemingly appeared from nowhere to assist the hybrid in this battle, there was no one present to show his gratitude but his gut told him Suri wasn't down for the count!

Typha looked at the two as they seemed to ready to keep going. He was being thrown around and Typha needed to be careful of that. They might eventually string a good combination of attacks together. His slashes flew out hitting Suri but she fired off a blast before he could finish. "Tch." Typha crossed his arms as the blast hit causing him to slid away. Typha's other slash hit Russe in the chest as well sending him flying. Maybe he did it a little over since he actually seemed to cut them. He had only meant to hit them with the equivalent of a baseball bat rather than a blade. He was not trying to seriously hurt them or anything. Though it seemed both were tough and could take it.
Typha looked at Suri fired a barrage of ice shards at him. Typha brought his sword deflecting each shot though some ice did get past but not enough to do much. Small and Fast attacks were perfect for him to deal with. What was her game? Typha went to approach but he had taken his eye off Russe. His robotic eye began to beep about to turn on though it still needed a moment as Russe threw sand in his good eye. "Son of a bitch!" Typha tried to rub the sand out. That really hurt plus now he was blind. He could still sense ki but damn he so used to being able to see. Then he sensed a powerful beam of energy at him. Typha brought his sword swinging into the blast but he missed his sword sailing above it. A blast of ki flew out flying at Russe above the blast as he was hit in the stomach "Guhhh." He had met to use his own attack to stop Russe but he had missed. Meanwhile, his blast of ki sailed into the air flying right at Russe to slash him at full strength.

Suri didn't need a sniper scope to see that her icicles had not hit their mark, but they had still done what she had intended! "Oh, gee..." she winced as she saw Russé throw sand into Typha's eyes, feeling second-hand pain from imagining it in her eyes. Both those distractions were enough for Russé to land a hit on Typha, in the end, even if he had an attack coming his way as well. Suri wasn't sure if she should celebrate that fact.
A white aura burst forth from Suri's body as she flew back toward the fight, but her speed was far from fast enough for her to stop Typha's ki slash for Russé, so he'd have to deal with that himself... Instead, Suri would try for Typha himself. Putting her palms forward, Suri tried to crash into Typha, grabbing him by the shoulders and send him flying away from Russé. Whether she managed to connect or not, she'd probably be pretty close to Typha, and if so, Suri would whisper to him, "Are your eyes okay? Or should we stop here?" while she herself would wince at the searing pain still coming from the accidentally-inflicted wound on her back.

A direct hit! Russe's teeth revealed themselves to the world, mouth curved on the right side of cheek forming a smile, while Typha is wise to attack weaker foes in a battle, the hybrid can be just as pragmatic. His strategy to land a hit on the swordsman was riding on this plan to succeed, he didn't expect to blind him let alone being able to land a blow, his luck finally going well in his favor. B
But the moment of victory is short-lived, Typha retaliated with another Ki wave from his sword, this one potent enough to deal some serious damage, worse of all, the hybrid couldn't feel his legs trying to get away as if they have undergone paralysis, is this fear? Russe is speechless and out of breath, he has a right to be afraid. Nothing he can do except stand there and prevent his arm from dangling, his body is depleted of energy, stamina has taken its toll on the young adult, the winner of this spar is spelled out in plain sight. "Oh no! I cant..move!" fearful words are all he could say, struggling to resist what's coming for him.
The attack has struck and turned Russé's world into a realm of darkness, eardrums popping and his skin littered with fresh blood gashes and scrapes, eyelids took a little while to open and body trying to restore the ability to feel the sensation of touch. Mentally he pleaded for it to not return just yet, wanted to rest a little while but he can't do that, soon he is back on his feet looking worse for wear. Green eyes frantically searched for his opponent, Typha was nowhere to be seen due to Suri tackling him out of nowhere but his strong energy signature is still present. "-pants- -pants -pants- nice one Suri.." is out of breath and shrinking a tired thumbs up. No worries, the hybrid will simply take this time to rest up before going back to the fight, he'll recover in no time...or will he?

Typha counter manged to hit Russe he could hear him in a lot of pain from the slash. Guess he overdid it just a bit. Still, he didn't have much time to worry about that since Suri was flying at him which Typha was hit by since he was corned about Russe. Typha looked at Suri as she asked if he was ok. "Of course I am." Typha smiled. He had been blinded before this was not too bad. Plus it was a bit of sand. He blinked a few times before he attempted to push Suri off and leap back to gain some distance. If he was able to do that he raised his sword up and looked at the two of them "If you both want to keep going I am more then willing." He blinked a few more times before he could finally see again. Even better his robotic eye spun to life as it turned back on. Now he could see just fine. Russe looked pretty banged up but Suri was still standing. This was going to be tough. He had energy to spare though he could still defeat them.
