The fight was all but won at this point. Lotuce watched the woman bounce along the floor of the fighting arena, only barely managing to stop herself from touching the ground outside the allowed area by stopping herself with her own ability of flight. Catching herself. Lotuce was no expert on robots or robotics, but as he looked at her, parts of her ‘flesh’ missing from her, he could tell that she was near the end of her ropes. It was time to put the machine into sleep mode. He saw her fling her final, futile attack at him.
He disappeared, leaving only a shadow of himself, an echo, an after image. He was done with this fight now, it was boring and no more than simple bullying to allow it to continue to play out. When he had stopped moving at a high rate of speed, he was directly above the robot. A red orb of ki charging in his right hand, his left at his side. His whole body was at a ninety degree angle, parallel to the ground. His eyes were less angry and more pitying as he stared down at her, the red orb sparking small yellow streaks of lightning.
“Its time to let this fight end girl. You put up a decent fight, and whilst you might be more capable in terms of pure energy...you lack the experience to make use of it.” Lotuce then without even another word or sound let loose the attack he had in his hand. He hoped for her sake that she would simply accept this attack and lose at this point. Too much more and he feared he might end her life, both against the rules and a waste of a good potential rival.
Lotuce knew that if this fight continued, then lives other than their own would likely be at risk. No, this was to be the end of the fight one way or another. He was a warrior, not a monster unlike what some of the human brat’s labeled him as a child. No, if she survived and stayed in this fight he would end the fight before the risk to the spectators became inevitable. The fight was already risking their lives at several different points throughout. He was going to make all this end now. He was going to win or lose with this attack. How the woman responded next would spell the answer clearly for him.
Used After Image to dodge attack [-1 KP] [2/3 KP remain]
Hitora was just too fast. In terms of pure numbers, this made no sense. Ima should be on equal terms if not a bit stronger. But it was as her opponent said. She lacked the experience he did. Ima was relying on her past fights are VanIma or even PVI to get her through this. Her last burst of energy was impressive to be sure, but it wouldn’t be enough.
The motherly android was slammed to the ground. Relatively unscathed all things considered. She smirked. “All that talk for an average attack,” she taunted. Ima readied herself to launch toward Hitora and return the favor. However, she would be cut off by a loud buzzer resounding through the stands. Ima froze, her eyes going wide in surprise. She then peered back down to where she landed. A small almost unnoticeable divot punched through the open grass.
“And that’s the match! Ima is eliminated by ring-out!”
Were she human or at least organic, her face would be bright red. Somehow she completely missed the fact she was out of bounds. A small chuckle escaped her. “Well then. I suppose I should be more careful next time.” Luckily she was not the type to be let down by a friendly loss. The android hovered over back to the actual stage. Van was quick to follow her to the field. His gaze was affixed to the two patched of synthetic skin that was seared off in the two large attacks.
“I am okay Van. Really. I am actually more concerned with you. First thing though,” Ima waved a hand to her opponent, beckoning him over for a friendly congratulatory handshake. “It was a pleasure going against you Hitora.”
Before she could continue, a new voice cut in. “Hey.” Ima turned in astonishment to see her friend talking. Van gave Hitora a blank stare, only a small hint of a smile pulling at the corners of his lips. “Fight me next time?” Obviously he didn’t mean right this second. That would just be unfair. The poor man just finished a fairly decent fight. Not to mention Van-80 still was not feeling up for a full fight. Short fragment of speech aside, Ima was just glad to hear him speaking. Of course, he always did open up to strangers easily whenever he was upset.
Ima takes another 26% and is eliminated by ring-out
Have you ever noticed how Vanity and Humanity all share the word "anity?"
Hitora smirked as the woman was declared out of bounds. The fight was over at this point, though he saw for a moment she was ready to continue. However when she realized the buzzer was going off and she was declared the loser. Landing on the ground he noticed the woman was beckoning him closer to shake his hand. It was a good fight, there were no ill feelings. As he reached his hand out to shake the woman’s hand the other android spoke up, saying how he wanted to fight him next time. Letting out a small chuckle the Saiyan nodded.
“Sure, next time I’ll kick your ass in too Robot Boy.” Lotuce then turned back to the arena where it was declared that he would fight the next match immediately, he was unlucky and had to fight in two matches before he had earned a spot in the next stage of the tournament. He entered the arena and went on to fight a much easier opponent, someone who could barely form a ball of Ki to use as an attack let alone on his or even the robot lady’s level. As he began to leave the stage he would smirk at the two robots and walk towards them.
“The name is Lotuce, my real name anyways. Your names?” Lotuce would wait for their names before flying away, leaving the scraps of his jacket behind. He had a few more at home anyways. The young Saiyan was ready to get stronger still, that robot had shown him that he had room to grow still, much more room to grow and he was excited to do that growing, he had to become stronger not only as just a Saiyan but also as a fighter if he wanted to make his goals come true.
Then a thought occurred to him...what were his goals in life? He was not entirely sure of where he wanted to go yet in his life. He only knew he wanted to see himself become stronger for now, but what would he use that strength for. He was unsure still, but he knew that he would figure it out soon enough, that much was certain. He then began to fly faster, wanting to get home and eat some food that his mother had made, the sun was beginning to wane by now and his stomach was growling.
