Suri stood atop a rock in the middle of a river, with her hands extended outwards. Numerous brightly colored stars floated in the air in front of her, glowing red, blue, and white. Suri took in a deep breath, and she uttered to herself, "...Begin!" As soon as she did, the energy projectiles hovering in front of her began to fly towards her. Quickly gathering some magic into her hand, Suri made a regular-sized popsicle materialize in her hand. She let some magic and ki flow from her fingertips, into the tiny ice pop she was holding. Just a little puff of magic infused ki, aaaaand... "Ha-cha!" Suri shouted, swinging the popsicle, using it like a dagger to cut one of her energy projectiles in half, then another, and another...
Suri was doing some light training, testing out her defensive skills. Her goal was to hit every blast, or at the very least not let a single shot get past her.
Suri had been going at it for a while, striking down a good amount of energy blasts, when..."Yah-!"...she failed miserably with only a few left. One hit her smack dab on her shoulder, tearing her hoodie's right sleeve straight off. And as Suri lost her focus, a couple of stray shots flew off-course and hit nearby rocks or trees...
As the explosions ceased shortly afterwards, Suri threw the remainder of her ice bar barrier. The popsicle flew towards a tree, lodging itself into it. Having only slightly vented her frustration, Suri muttered under her breath, "Dammit..."
Her skills had gotten pretty rusty after seeing no use for over four months. Suri was in a hurry to get back to tip-top shape, and to gain better control over her ki and magic. She had been in a coma because they went out of control, and she never wanted that to happen again. Suri realized that her ki and magic weren't mere convenicence tools or weapons for self defense, but rather a crucial part of her, which fueled her body and spirit, and were the reasons why she was alive. To a magical creature such as herself, spiritual energy was like lifeblood, it seemed. So, training had become quite important for Suri. However! She had learned that relaxing and taking time to rest was important as well.
Suri huffed, finding herself a bit out of breath. "...I'll take a short break.", Suri decided, since it would be good for her both physically and mentally, and she would do better once she was less tired and frustrated! Maybe some food would help with that. Suri hopped off of the rock and stepped onto land. While reaching into her pockets for the Hoi-poi capsule that contained her brunch, she started to walk towards the tree she had thrown her popsicle at. The mystical power Suri had imbued into the popsicle had run its course, and now it seemed as if it would break just by being touched, with a crack already forming in the middle... Not that it mattered, now that she was done with it. Suri planned on destroying it, so that a wild animal wouldn't choke on the stick or something.

Flying though the air always was a bit therapeutic for him, the freedom of just moving around at will without any worries was something he would recommend for anyone. It not quite as good a cup of tea but it was a close second in his opinion but then again he was told he had a obsession with the stuff. He really did not have a place in mind on where to go, his mind was pretty empty and he was just following the wind for a change. His training has been showing results and he decided it was time to relax his mind and perhaps learn more about the world, his sheltered life had hurt his growth so much and he was now only learning the depth of damage. Form the aliens, lack of understanding of technology and even of recent events had shaken him to the core. He was coming to terms with it surely and decided he was not gonna be held back anymore by his lack of experience.
It was during this random roaming he felt what seemed like a familiar power, it was different form what he thought they normally felt but perhaps she had learned of a new form. It would explain the change in power but not why she was weaker then before, perhaps she was injured? Or perhaps it was not Aurora after all and someone with a similar ki? It would be a interesting experience whoever it was, a change of pace to meet yet another strange power this world offered. With that in mind he changed course to where he felt the power, his mind wonder if perhaps he had found another of their race perhaps. Getting closer he saw a figure near the river and even from this distance he could it was not another of Auoroa's kind, the lack of a tail and clothing easily giving it away. It would explain the lack of power he felt even if it was not by all that much form the sealed form they normally had in his presence.
"Well hello there stranger! I thought you might be a friend of mine but clearly I was mistaken"
He hollered as he approached the small clearing intent on announcing his presence. He did not want to alarm them by suddenly appearing near them as his time at the Saiyan camp showed even if they were strong they might not be able to sense ki without a device. Better to be safe then sorry he thought as he finally got close to take in their appearance the soft blue skin looked awfully a lot like Sanbu's skin and if he was a betting man he would no doubt think they were the same race. He had seen quite a few at the village and knew they came in all different colors but this one seemed quite far form home if they came form the same area and he could not help but wonder why.
"Sorry to intrude but I could not help my own curiosity so I came to look at the strange ki I felt. You may call me Reno if you like! Your a Majin if I guess correctly or am I wrong? I meet a small village in the desert and its filled with a people that look very much like yourself!"
He said his voice quite pleasant as he tried introduce himself on the best foot forward as they said.

Suri had just pulled her capsule out when she heard someone call out from above. Since Suri had no methods of sensing energy, she was only alerted of his approach when he announced his presence himself. "Hm?" Suri lifted her head to see who it was. "O-Oh! I didn't know anyone was nearby... I mean, Hello!" Suri waved at him, then placed her hand on her chest and sighed, relieved that he hadn't been anywhere nearby when her energy blasts were flying everywhere...
Well, he seemed friendly enough, so she could let her guard down for a moment. Suri relaxed, and stayed where she was standing, waiting.
As the man got closer, Suri could get a better look at him as well. Red hair... An Earthling, maybe, or perhaps a humanoid alien? Konatsian, Saiyan, he could be any of those. It wasn't easy to tell unlike say, Majins or Arcosians, you see. From his outfit, and the fact that he could fly, it was highly likely that he was a martial artist like Suri. Perhaps he was out here for the same reason she was? Once the red-haired gentleman landed, Suri found herself still looking up at him, as he was a head's height taller than her.
Yep, definitely a martial artist. He could sense energy, and he called Suri's ki strange, which was understandable, she had a hunch as to why. With a knowing grin, Suri responded in a friendly manner. "Strange, huh? Probably because I've got magic mixed in... My name is Suri, and yeah, I'm a Majin! I, uh...village? N-Not sure which one you're talking about, but...you'll find more of us everywhere else, too. Did you come to Earth to visit that friend of yours?" Suri asked, assuming that Reno was visiting from another planet.
Suri's glance briefly landed on Reno's robe again, a tinge of curiosity in her eyes. "H-Hey, if you don't mind me asking..." Suri started to mutter out, fiddling with her Hoi-poi capsule...
'Click-' Then, she accidentally pressed the button, releasing the objects it stored within! "Gah!" Suri caught her water bottle with her left hand, one of her packed lunch boxes with her right hand, then she swayed from side to side, stacking the other two boxes on top of it. She then made one of her many head-antennae point next to her, and from its tip she fired a pink beam of magic, causing a wooden table to materialize from nothing. She quickly dumped everything she held, onto the table. "Phew!" Suri wiped some sweat off her forehead with her remaining sleeve. "I just finished training myself, and I was about to take a brunch break, see... I wanted to ask where you were headed, were you on your way to train too?"

It was refreshing to meet such a genuinely friendly person, a stark contrast to his welcome when a stranger happened on him. Sure it was not like he was aggressive but it was clear he was not entirely happy about it, even if he offered them tea like a good host. He might need to work on that on second thought but for now it would best for him to pay attention to this strange creature in front of him, his encounter with Sanbu coming to mind more and more. Her voice was pleasant and unlike the ones he had met much more used to speaking in a way similar to a city dweller. Or at least those that lived in the villages he visited, and her clothes suited most earthlings he had met showing there was quite a bit a difference between the one he had met before.
"Uhh no I am a earthling even if a strange one at that. That is correct the ones I met before used a lot of magic as well but they created their own food with theirs. Can you not do the same or is it different for each one?"
He asked as he watched her start to fumble with the capsule and food, her nervousness making quite a scene. With a small bit of surprise he moves to help her but stops as she finally manages to balance it on her own much to his surprise, her deft movements quite the contrast to her original blunder. With a whistle he moves up to join her and help set the table, his hands moving on their own to clear some space for her. Offering her a gentle smile that carried a hint of deviousness quickly pulled his own capsule out and shoot it for her to see.
"A I was taking the day of form training to relax but I know the feeling after such a session. If you would like I have some extra food to add or I can make us some tea if you would like? Forgive me I am Re..R..Renulado Miller or you can call me Reno if its easier for you as you an see it is for me. And to reply to you other question I am wondering around quite aimless, just seeing what happens but I do normally train ever day. Humans sadly are naturally not strong for the most part and only though intense training so its important for us to not slack off. But I am sure you already know that sorry did not mean to lecture you about it Suri, a bad habit of late as I met quite a few aliens I did have to explain myself to. Was your training fruitful for you or having trouble with getting over the next wall?"
He half replied half lectured as he waited for her response about him helping with the food, his hand still shaking the capsule before her as he did. While it normally should be the host that offered such goods he never felt right unless he also helped out, a contrast to what he was taught for basic manners at the temple. Still he did truly wonder just what training she was to as he could tell already she was quite strong, and more then a match for him if she wanted to. She might struggle but for sure it would be her win and he was interested in learning just what she did to get stronger like that. He hoped it was some thing a human could do and not another Majin only thing, the limitations of being human wearing on him yet again.

Oh, her assumption was incorrect, Reno was actually an Earthling. Perhaps Suri had made her assumption a bit hastily, though it seemed like this wasn't the first time he had been mistaken, calling himself strange...
Reno was curious if Suri could use magic materialization, and perfect timing! He got a demonstration of that. "A-As you saw just now, I can create things with magic, food included. Actually, I made these myself!" Suri said, taking pride in her cooking.
As Reno helped Suri out, she smiled back in kind. Reno said he was relaxing today...so, what Suri did a lot. Suri nodded. She knew that feeling well, unexpectedly meeting someone while taking a break, happened to her all the time. Suri's eyes lit up(as in, her irises emitted light) when she heard Reno offer more food and tea. "Oh, of course! If you wouldn't mind sitting down and eating with me, let's have brunch together. What kind do you have?"
Reno told her his full name, which even he had trouble saying. Suri didn't blame him for that, it wasn't like he was the one who named him. Usually that was the parents' job. Didn't stop Suri from trying to say his name though. "Re...Re-nul-la-do... Yeah okay, Reno it is then." Suri nodded, and she listened while she opened up containers one-by-one, placing freshly-materialized spoons, forks, and chopsticks in each of them.
"Nono, don't apologize for that!" Lecture? Suri hadn't thought that at all! She was reminded of the differences between her and the rest of her family. She could also relate on a lot of things with Reno, it seemed "I know what you mean, I had to explain things like that to the...non-Earth native friends I've met as well." Suri smiled, then nodded approvingly, continuous training was good for anyone, really. "Oh, and you know how you said you wander around? Last year I did that myself, because I was aimless too. Going places, meeting people and experiencing things, it did help me figure things out. Plus, I happened to meet my new martial arts teacher, he was like, suuuuuuper strong! Thanks to him, I broke through all the walls I thought existed. So yeah, my training was...fruitful." Suri ended on a somber note, as she now knew that Nashi had passed...
Ahem. For her last magic trick, Suri created two seats so they could sit and relax while eating. "...Speaking of fruit, let's eat?" She sat herself down on her chair. While eager to dig in, she would wait for Reno to do so as well. "How's...your training going, by the way? Going well?" Was Reno a strong fighter? Perhaps she could ask to train with him later...

Reno could only smile at her energy as he finished helping her set up, his hands pulling a few capsules form his belt as he prepared some tools for him to use. Still he waited till she had everything set up before starting on his own food, his eyes wary in order to prevent another mishap like before. Although it seemed like she had everything under control now, maybe it was a one time thing. Clicking two of his capsules he quickly threw them on the table as they opened to reveal a tea set, a perfect little red kettle on a new tech heating pad that worked without fire, a small container next to it contained several types of tea and sugars. The second capsule revealed several large clear boxes containing several breads covered in cheese and spices, the strange shapes suggested there was more to them then meets the eye. "Sadly I don't have quite the set up you have to offer since I am often out of town for long periods of time but I think I have a few things you might like" he added, a small grin on his face as he looked though the different kinds of tea. Pulling on the tags he turned back to her with a small smile "So is there a type of tea you like? I have green tea, black, orange blossom and spearmint. Spearmint goes good with sugar if you have a sweet tooth" he added at the end.
He could not help but smile when he realized he was not the only one that had trouble with his name, and for once the nick name would be better suited for both of them rather then just him. Still he listened to her about her own training and it made him wonder just who could have been stronger then her, a bit of envy hit him at the thought of his own mentor who was not gone. Although his had passed away and in realty it was a good thing for him it did little to stop the sting of envy on his part. "Who would be stronger then you that could teach? Its not all that rare to find strong aliens but most of the ones I have meet save for one tend to be a little of the deep end" He asked his mind trying to change the direction his was going and he was curious on just who it was as well. Perhaps he would have a chance to meet them some time but for now it was best if he focused on his own training and hoped it would be a enough.
"I recently had a brake though with my training yes but it was rather small really. Still progress is progress and I hope to have the chance to improve even further you know? However as it stands now I am pretty much useless in a fight or rather useless compared to the big fish running around of late. Its more then a little frustrating" He admitted out loud, his eyes looking up at the sky as he retreated into his own thoughts for a moment.

Thankfully no such mishap would occur, as Suri was now being ever so careful with her every move.
Suri watched Reno pull out his own setup, which looked pretty interesting despite his undermining of it. "Oh. I-It seems like a better one than I have! I just bring lunchboxes around, and all.. As for tea...hm." Suri placed a finger on her chin, briefly going into her thoughts. She didn't drink a lot of tea usually, but she did like sweet things! So, she'd go with Reno's recommendation. And who knew, though right now she wasn't much of a tea person, maybe she would become one. She didn't drink beer either before trying it for the first time when she met Dion. "I don't have a favorite, but I'll go with spearmint. ...I do have a sweet tooth, yes." Suri admitted, sheepishly grinning back at Reno.
"I-I'm sure I'm nothing special..." Suri lacked confidence in her own power, especially after going into a coma because of her lack of control, and later learning that her teacher, who was much more skilled, had been killed. "Oh, his name is Nashi, Senbyō of the Lookout, master of the Cat school." Suri said, her voice lightening up a bit again, thanks to her pride for her teacher. "He wasn't an alien, actually. He was a blue cat-person! Still, he was...uh, at least two times stronger than me? I'm not sure, I never learned how to sense energy, and he didn't know how to, either. We both knew he was stronger than me, though, and more skilled. I'm sure there are lots of stronger people out there too, it's probably safe to assume so..." Otherwise, she could get caught by surprise. Suri had no way of knowing how strong someone was in advance, so she decided to assume that any fighters she met were stronger than her until proven otherwise.
Reno had made progress, that was good, even if it was small. Suri nodded in agreement, progress was progress. Her brows were raised when he spoke of being weaker compared to big fish. "That must be...I don't blame you. Don't give up, though! I'm sure you'll get there too with enough training." Suri said with her best reassuring tone. She then asked, "Who are these big fish you're talking about, by the way?" Who was she going to have to watch out for? They must be pretty powerful if Reno felt that way.

"Spearmint is a good one to start with if your not much of a tea drinker, its quite refreshing after training as well."He replied with a smile on his face, his hands quickly pulling the small bag free of its container as he turned on the machine to heat it all up. Spear mint was a good choice even by him and he would make sure to leave some extra sugar cubes for her to use. Next he took some of his breads form the container, the two loafs were covered in a cooked in cheese and spices giving them more of a subtle flavor. Unlike most he did not quite have a sweet tooth preferring bread and meat to most other options, fruits being a close favorite after that. He tended to avoid sweets and more often then not would offer to give his away rather then consume them himself, a trait that earned him a few friends back at the temple."I just got to let this heat up and we can start letting it seep while we get the rest of the food ready sound good?" He spoke softly as he turned back and looked at her.
"Nashi huh? Interesting I have only met one other earthling that was even worth mentioning, a man named Lao. Not much but he has potential most of are kind do not, and the drive to go with it." he replied after hearing of her own master. A man he would like to meet and if he really was stronger then her and human he was sure the man would know some skills that also could learn. Perhaps a way to break past the next wall he hoped, some way of catching up with all those out there that dwarfed him." I would without a doubt like to meet him if at all possible some time. I am sure he might have some skills I would be interested in learning." He replied a small smile on his face, the mans death unknown to him. "As for sensing energy it does help but their are tricks to hide or bolster the signal of ki." he explained, his eyes closing as he tried to recall just how powerful his own mentor had been compared to this girl and him self. With a sign he gathered his thoughts before he replied" As for our strengths I would say with the energy coming off your body now you are just about two times stronger then me, even if I gather all my energy I would only be able to muster about 50 more ki then your are currently letting off".
His eyes still closed he opened them once again with a small look of fear as he replied "One was my old mentor and another is my friend Aurora. Although she pales in comparison to my mentor and form what she has told me she is weaker then quite a few aliens running around". Twisting his eyes down he looked at his own hands before finishing explaining" As for just how strong? mmm lets say I am 1 with you being a two right now.....He would at least be a 40 and I fear he was not quite using his full power but close". He did not like the way this was turning so quickly he moved back to working on the tea and food before turning back to her with a smile, his grin hiding his emotions a bit. "So what all did you bring to eat on this fine day? Please say meat...preferably rare but if not its still good. No fun unless its fighting back right?" He joked trying to change the topic a bit, his hands slowing adding in the tea leaves to the heated water.

After a tiring training session, she was going to have a nice meal, and some sweet tea with her new acquaintance, eh? "Sounds perfect!" Suri responded back, while opening up the last of her food containers. "The food I brought is already warm and ready to eat, by the way. Heat preserving containers, plus I brought them in Hoi-pois."
Suri raised her eyebrow for a moment at Reno's...rather defeatist attitude? "Well, who knows. The power you're born with isn't everything. If he has the resolve, I'm sure he'll be able to become stronger, as everyone else can with enough training!" Suri expressed her optimism. She was at least happy that Reno was eager to improve. Suri nodded, saying "Yes, he's great! I wasn't much before I trained, and learned a proper fighting style, and useful tips and tricks. Plus, being trained by a very strong person also makes you a lot stronger." Oh right, his death. "...Ahem."
The Majin's eyes widened as she was told something unexpected. Apparantly Suri was stronger than Reno. "Oh, really? I thought you were stronger than me, because... Well, I don't really know." Suri shrugged with a sheepish half-grin. "I mean, you're still beyond superhuman level, especially if you can boost your power like that. But...see? Energy sensing is really useful. I can't tell how strong someone is right away, so I have to assume. Those tricks you mentioned sound useful too, like hiding power? I didn't know I let off that much energy casually..." Suri trailed off into thought for a moment, placing her index finger on her chin. Certainly useful skills to have. If she just had a bit more control over her energies...
Reno's mentor, and Reno's friend named Aurora were apparantly strong as well, thankfully these two big fish were not enemies as Suri imagined, though the other aliens he didn't specifically talk about were unknown. So, two strong allies. Suri nodded, letting Reno continue. Reno sure liked numbers! He used them to explain how strong they were. "Forty, huh? That's a big number...not as big as fifty, though...?" Suri smiled, even as confused as she was.
Ah, yes, the food! Suri couldn't wait to dig in, she was starving after that training session, now that she thought about it. "I did bring meat! ...Fighting back? Uh, I used bought ingredients, actually. Never tried hunting, is it fun?" Suri asked. Lastly, Suri took out a bottle of hand sanitizer from her pocket and used it, before she put it on the table and sat down. Time to introduce the gang. Suri eagerly pointed out each of the food on her menu. "Here are the egg rolls, here's the bacon, sausages, seasoned salad... Brought two boxes of rice. Oh, and like...four sandwiches, too. Pretty basic mix of breakfast and lunch foods, right? Didn't want to take too much time, since I also needed to train today. Anyways, hope you enjoy my cooking as much as I do!" she said.
Suri couldn't stop herself any longer, and as soon as she said that, she picked up her utensils and started helping herself to the food. Her hand blurred for a moment, and would you look at that, now there was one less sandwich than before.

Reno could only smile at her enthusiasm about the food, her infectious attitude reaching even him as he smiled back. I bet she eats like a Saiyan as well he thought as he moved the sugar cubes closer to her, the knowledge of her so called sweet tooth making him sure she would be using most them anyways. He might need to stock up on a lot of them now that he thought about it, all his visitors seemed to have such a craving for sugar it was rather hard for him to keep enough on hand. Well as long as she did not try to drink it by the gallon there would be enough this time he thought as listen to her explain the fact they were still warm, he was sure if they where not she might just be able to use magic to fix that anyways. "That sounds great! Some food is much better hot then cold but not always." he replied as he started up his own plate.
Pouring himself a drink he kept up his smile as she tried to cheer him up and to her credit it did help more then a little bit, he was not gonna admit out loud though as it felt pretty childish of him in the first place. Her explanation of her master and her fascination with sensing energy made him aware just how easy it was to excite this little blue creature as he took a plate up and smiled as he moved closer to the food intent on getting some of the choice bits before he found out if she matched a Saiyan or not. He figured she would at least eat as much as Sanbu so if he did not grab some now he would be out luck later, his hands working to grab as much meat and bread as they could as she explained it all to him." Most people have a resting power and only very rarely do they keep putting out their full power. But yes your power is very high at rest making it very easy to find you anywhere in the world. Majins have a strange power to start with and yours more so if had to say, the magic in you does not seem to fit the same way as other Majins". He explained, his hands moving quickly to swipe another chunk of bacon when she was not looking. Tilting his head again he proceeded to admit the truth about his knowledge on Majins "Although to be fair I have only met one Village of your people so I am no expert on the subject."
With that he started to take a few bites and even though he was warned he was pleasantly surprised to find the food was indeed very warm, the small Majin had been quite correct about taste as well. It was only then he noticed a sandwich vanish into thin air,a blur of blue flashing so quickly he might have been seeing things. But no she had indeed taken the sandwich and for the life of him he could not figure out why she had moved so fast to do just that. Well rather then ask suck a pointless question he thought perhaps he would ask a more productive one instead,"So what training out are you doing? Do you need help with it?" He asked innocently as he swiped another slab of bacon, his own hand snaking out much like hers to get his prize.

Suri nodded at Reno's explanation, as it made a lot of sense to her. It wasn't like she was in fight mode 24/7, in fact she was more often in a relaxed state living a peaceful life, so it made sense that she had a resting state in terms of power as well. Still, it was a bit troubling to hear that her power signature was easy to find anywhere in the world, making her stick out like a sore thumb... Apparantly her power was strange too, even for a Majin. Well, Suri thought, she should have expected that much. She knew that with her ice-cold magic influencing her ki, it manifested in strange, unorthodox ways. Though, Reno did also say he didn't know too much about Majins himself. "Oh, well...you're more of an expert than me in term of the feel of our energy! I know a lot of things about Majins from biology class and stuff, but...no experience with actually sensing it like that, so I can't say that I have anything to tell you about that."
Suri's hunger had gotten the better of her for a moment. Suri did have an appetite rivalling Saiyans, though she felt a little ashamed about that. '...Jeez, self control, Suri.' Apparant from the slight flush of her face, the shame from scarfing down the sandwich was already washing over her, so she would slow down a little... Picking up one of the spoons she had placed earlier, Suri ate two spoonfuls of rice. Then she went for a few pieces of bacon, some sausages, then a couple of egg rolls, in that order, impaling them on one of her chopsticks to create a mini-stick o' meat. Then another. Then, the Majin picked them apart one by one.
Just as Suri was doing that, Reno asked about her training. After Suri cleansed her palette with some salad and a bottle's worth of water, she answered. "Phew. Oh, absolutely! I was dodging and blocking my own energy blasts over there," Suri pointed at the stepping stones in the middle of the river, then some of the newly-made craters and broken trees nearby. "doing some self-training because I was alone out here. I was experimenting, trying to find out what would be good training, because I found out training weights weren't doing much for me, lately. I think training with another strong person would be best for me now, so..." Suri glanced toward Reno with a smile, and a suggestion. "would you like to spar with me after we're finished eating? I'd love to find out more about what kind of skills you have, Reno." Suri said, before grabbing her second sandwich and taking a bite out of it.

Tilting his head he wondered why so few people knew how to sense ki, the fact he had learned it when he was much weaker made him know it was not a skill that required a lot of power to do. The fact that people much stronger then him did not know how bothered him quite a bit, even Aurora could not sense his power without that scouter and she could toss him around like a toddler. "Hmmm the ki sensing skill is quite useful and even has some use in battle if your quite good at it. Feeling a spike of power is a good sign that a attack is coming and can even be used to avoid attacks for those who are skilled at the ability." he informed her, his eyes rolling back in his head at the memory of one of his mentors dodging him with their eyes closed. His face ever so slightly turning red at the embarrassment he went on to explain in more detail "In fact their was one old coot at the temple that I could never quite get a hold of in our sparring sessions and just to mock me he would wear a blind fold even. I am sure I could not very easily but it was infuriating at the time to not be able to catch someone much weaker then me while they were blind folded.". With the smile still plastered on his face Reno took another bite food before it got cold.
He already had seen Saiyans eat many times and was quite use to someone being able to eat a lot so Suri's large appetite was nothing strange to him, in fact compared to the meals he had seen the other Majins eat Suri seemed to be restraining herself. He was not sure if he should say its alright for her to eat more or to let it go, her attempt at manners making him want to stay quiet to avoid embarrassing her. Deciding it was perhaps best to be silent he just nodded for a moment before giving a reply to her questions about training instead " Practicing your defense? Hmm that is a useful thing but with the ki being your own it makes it easy to guess what their gonna do, so short of having a skill like multiform or someone to help you the effect is lessened quite a bit. A fight is unpredictable form the directions of the attack as well as the power of the attacks, making snap judgement crucial in the heat of battle. " he lectured again, his bad habits coming into play again. He was use to teaching others and anytime he was talking about fighting the habit seemed to make a appearance, his mind only catching on after he had said it. At this rate he needed to open his own school so he could say he was a teacher to hide it or just learn to shut up he thought.
"Hmmm I was taking the day off but this seems like a good chance to get some surprise training for myself as well, I would have to miss the chance for training with someone strong." He replied, his smile still on his face as he agreed to take on some extra training with the Majin. He really wondered what they could do as a race in a fight and this was the perfect chance for him to see for himself just how far his training had taken him. Reaching forward he took another drink of water before he finished off the meal, his stomach telling him to grab some more but experience told him training while full was a bad idea. He was not sure how the Majin would fare but if she was anything like the Saiyans it would not effect it one bit, in fact they often seemed to get faster when full instead of slowing down. With a shrug he painterly waited for her to eat her share or to reply any other questions she might have for him.

With keen interest in her eyes, Suri listened on as Reno told her about the usefulness of energy sensing, and the practical uses of it in battle. And to the Majin martial artist, this sixth sense certainly sounded like something she needed to pick up sometime soon, as it apparantly allowed one to predict attacks and avoid them without needing to see them coming! Suri smiled, a hum escaping her lips. "Hmm... Wow, that definitely sounds useful...no, a lifesaver, even!" And the redhead's reddening face did not go unnoticed. "Oh, sorry you had to talk about that..." Suri said, before she too went for some more food during the silence.
"Mhm." Suri nodded as Reno pointed out the flaws in the training method she used a few minutes ago, flaws which had been clear to Suri as well. "I know, just...I happened to be alone at the time. But you're right, I don't think it did much for me, other than making me use up my stamina." Thankfully this food acted as a refill of sorts, and she'd be full of strength when she's full! And hopefully, with Reno, Suri would be able to get some proper practice. The guy certainly seemed like he'd be skilled, and knew what he was doing judging from the things he told her.
Suri perked up even more when Reno accepted her offer to spar. "Great! So, both of us will benefit from this? I was also lacking a training partner and all..." Suri answered with a wide smile. The Majin picked up the pace and quickly finished eating the remainder of her food, and started putting things away. Hm, Reno hadn't finished his. Suri tilted her head from side to side as she pondered the reason. Perhaps he wasn't too hungry, or perhaps he didn't eat too much. Either way, that was fine, throwing away some leftovers wasn't a big deal.
Suri finished capsulating her belongings, and stepped away from the table. "By the way," Suri asked while she stretched her arms and legs for a moment. "what's 'Multiform'? Would you like to show me?" Suri took a defensive stance, watching him to see what he would do first. "...Shall we?"

Watching her clear her plate was just as impressive as when he had seen the Saiyans do it, the mountain of food vanishing as if by some form of magic trick. It was unfortunate he thought that most likely she shared the same trait of getting faster when full as well, a fact that never failed to make him wonder just how in the hell did that work. Still getting up he wondered to a small clearing nearby as he allowed her to put it all away, a small bit of guilt hitting him when all was said and done for not offering to help her. He just hoped she did not notice as he readied himself for up coming spar, the mans ki swirling inside him wildly for a moment before it settled into a steady ki pulse. It had taken him forever to finally control the chaotic energy of his ki but the results had been astounding, the controlled allowing him to reach levels he had not though possible for a human till recently.
"Multiform? Here it might be easier to show you" he said as he let his ki gather inside every part of him and slowly bled out, the bright red energy slowly forming into a humanoid shape in front of her. After a moment the bright red faded leaving two exact copies of Reno standing in front of her, each of them adopting a different pose as the spoke in unison " Here you go! what do you think?. The smile on both of the clones faces growing wider as watched for her reaction, each clone gathering some more of their energy to create his keepsake sword. With the time he had as he awaited for her reaction the man tightened his energy until two separate swords appeared in each of the clones hand, the blades identical to each other with the sole exception of each one having a different color tassels on the handles. The red and blue tassels where the only difference in the clones appearance as they stood before her, their voices still overlapping as he kept explaining the multiform "While it does cut my power in half for each clone it has its uses as each of us thinks on or own. Sure where the same person but it allows us to react to the others plan in spars, a useful skill when your training by yourself wouldn't you say?". With his explanation done each clone took up a sparing stance as he waited for any shock to wear off before they started.
"So would two of me make it better to practice your defense with?" he said with a tint of amusement, a small bit of his teasing nature coming though as he prepared for the match. He would wait till she was well and ready before each clone circled around her trying to find a way past her guard, each clone holding off on using the sword as they started to probe her defense with small ki blasts. Each clone waiting for her to dodge into the sky as they prepared to block her escape.

Suri watched with wonder as Reno gave her a demonstration of 'Multiform'. Reno became...well, Renos, after a bright glow of red energy came out of Reno and morphed into a second Reno. Suri's eyes were widened at the sight. The shock was pretty moderate, to the magic user. And Majin. Suri knew of other methods to make clones, such as some magic spells, or in the case of Majins, simply splitting one's own body and learning to maintain them. Perhaps with a bit of training, she could do that too. Still, it was enough for Suri to let out a "Woah...". The two Renos were pretty well coordinated, could act independently at the same time, and they both could do the same thing, with a sword for each Reno and everything. "That's really nice, Reno! Even if it lowers your power...sounds pretty nifty. And you're doing this with ki, and not magic?"
Ah, and apparantly he...they? ...Reno would fight Suri with two bodies. "Yeah!" It would be better indeed. "I'm sure it will be a valuable experience. Fighting with two people with a connected mind, at the same time?" It didn't take Suri very long to get ready. All the food she had just eaten had already been turned into energy, pumping the Majin up for some more exercise. She just needed to do some basic stretches real quick, and... "Alright, I'm ready... Let's do this." Suri said, hurriedly taking her stance, eager to start this friendly sparring session.
Suri grew silent as the fight began. Her eyes darted from one Reno to the other as she observed the two and gauged how much power she was going to have to use. And woah! At their current state, their power seemed pretty well matched. Reno's ki blasts were coming at Suri at a normal speed, and it looked like she wouldn't just be able to shake off a hit from them. With not much time to think, Suri's aura flared up as she flew upward. Just as Reno had expected, but she didn't know that.
From her right palm, Suri fired a blast of her own making, coated with sweet strawberry ice cream, and yet it packed a concussive blast of icy magic and ki. With it, Suri intended to strike Reno one while keeping her distance as best as possible.
Suri's left hand crossed over and pointed at Reno two with her index finger, flaring with magic, firing a trio of energy-coated icicles at his direction. These packed much less power, so at best Suri could only hope it would be enough for a distraction...
