Onerous Road Sanbu's PL: 100'000
The man knew grace unlike that which he knew before, things were different now. His face and physical stature both reflected such, bruised and torn in numerous locations. He was undergoing great strain in face of something not completely physical. A battle was being had on not only the literal front but also the metaphorical front. His person felt the brutal battery of nature against his skin thoroughly and without an ounce of merciful spirit. Sanbu stood nearly bare save for the lower half of his outfit. A black hakama typical of those who practiced underneath the methods of his clan. It was pretty much a uniform and it showed, the Majin was training to the best of his ability despite the conditions of his circumstances. Winds and waves beat at his skin from every which way but he still wore his hakama proudly. The weather gave him no opportunity to take a moment to collect himself. Without a proper stance and state of mind he risked simply being blown away without further regard. His footing could not afford to be imprecise here, he carefully stood his ground as the wicked rain raged on. The Southern Tropics was typically an elegant location worth the visit but should one face its more sinister side they risked being in for a hard time. Regardless, Sanbu continued to practice and work at his form. It was lacking and not capable of providing what he so desperately needed at the moment. Real power, strength that could affect change in a given scenario. Innumerable were the days in which Sanbu could recall conditions stacked against his favor. He knew the clout that factions possessed but unfortunately he stood with none. There were no allies to turn to nor friends in the basic sense, this effort would be accomplished through the hand of one. To accomplish this however would necessitate the strength of many, a feat which he worked at making his own. With every passing day his fighting prowess was improving but it was not enough still, true might would come from a place elsewhere than from which he knew. To access what he was looking for he needed to look elsewhere. What he had within simply did not suffice at the moment and it became very apparent with the passage of time.
While the Majin desired to train some more he stopped for the time being. The rain had not died entirely but it slowed down by a noticeable margin. Sanbu would look out onto what gazed back at him with awesome ferocity. Again did the man find himself on a beach but for a different purpose entirely. The vast expanse of the ocean haunted the Majin, tempting him even as he stared at the mass of deep blue with fear and jealousy. Hypnotized by the wave's gradual motion, slow but powerful. It did not move often but when it did Sanbu gave it his complete attention. He crossed his arms, speaking to himself without regard for who or what might have heard him. "Soon I must decide what I want from this life of mine. I can't remain indecisive for much longer, whether through force or volition I won't let it happen."

Ochra's PL: 183,545[/center[
As Ochra's pod was coming down through the atmosphere, the rain that fell onto it immediately evaporated into steam from the heat. Ochra's trip to Arcose had been a short one. He couldn't stay on the icy world for long. He had business once again back on Earth. Things were picking up on the planet, and it wasn't something the bounty hunter could ignore. Earth had already felt its share of conflict over the centuries, and it seemed like things were going to pick up once again. Ochra felt obligated to try and help with the situation. After all, there were innocent people on the planet.
As the pod rocketed towards the planet, Ochra forced the opening to the pod open. Sure, he could simply wait for the pod to crash into the planet, but he would rather avoid the chance of slamming into something important. Wind blasts past his face as he pushed himself out of the pod, turning around and pushing back against the hot metal, as he tried to slow down the pod's decent. Anyone watching would see a fireball falling down from the sky, slowing down instead of speeding up before it finally came to a stop mid air. Ochra hung in the air, holding the cooling pod in his hands. It was then that the bounty hunter took the time to look down and notice that he was coming down in some tropical jungle region. Good. No buildings below to demolish. Still, it didn't hurt to play it safe. Holding the pod in his hands, he slowly made his descent towards the planet, gently touching down before setting the pod down.
Ochra leaned against the pod and waited quietly. If experience had taught him anything, it was that an entrance like that had a tendency to attract people. After all, Ochra gave off a powerful energy, and he had yet to master properly concealing it. So, he waited patiently, just in case somebody came along looking for trouble. Better to be waiting for it, rather than get it while he was in the middle of something important.

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
Even in brightest day there stood few presences more fierce than the one he was feeling right now. Besides the sun not much else compared in the sheer scope and complexity of the power currently perceptible to his senses. Awesome and potent, even with minimal ability of ki detection one could feel the depth of this unidentified figure's might. It helped put things in perspective for the Majin's sake, humbling himself as he bore witness to a greater truth. There were people and there were ants but all depending from where one looked either they were former or the latter. In this instance he felt as if he was the latter of the two, in the presence of a figure he could only imagine was capable of far more than he. <And once more it happens, I must lose my ego and acknowledge my place within this universe. In but a few seconds I have felt an awesome power that I cannot fathom, one alike a man I know but not quite like it. Just who is this person? I need know more... I may train everyday but perchance this be the only time I cross paths with this individual. Intriguing might I say, this is someone worth talking to if only minimally. To know strength of that measure and not have anything to say would be a shame.> For this instance at least, Sanbu paused from his short bit of training. He had been going at it for a while now but it did not really leave him that visibly affected. There was a notable difference between self-imposed contest than an actual challenge usually experienced between two or more individuals. He knew all of his own tricks and had cycled through the same techniques over and over again. Training could only provide him with so much before he felt it unnecessary to continue without a change of plan. For now he pursued his curiosity with renewed vigor. His feet lay heavy but well-placed as he stepped with great caution towards his target. The ball engulfed in flames had caught his eye but what made him even more fascinated was the figure who was halting its descent to the planet's surface. As the Majin approached the strange flying object he at last better understood the source of such radiant heat. Sanbu knew the element of fire suffice enough to the point where he did not hesitate at the powerful quality of its temperature. Hotter flames had been felt before this experience and certainly would others after. As the space-pod's inferno began to clear he better saw whatever it was that caught his attention.
Sanbu's wave at the Saiyan was slight but it was still noticeable, in the same breath he smiled at the man. Bowing momentarily before assuming his usual demeanor, his voice spoke with a calm resonance. "Salutations, stranger? Flashy entrance if I've ever seen one. I reckon you're rather seasoned granted your power-level. Hmm... my mistake, where have my formalities gone? My name is Sanbu of Clan Kapsa. What's your name? It would be impolite to continue calling you a stranger I reckon."

And Ochra had been absolutely right. Just wait long enough, and somebody will come. In this case, it was a rather unusual red humanoid. A Brenchian? No, something about him felt off. He hadn't really seen anything like that before, yet there was something oddly familiar about his energy. But, he wasn't going to bother the young man about it. He introduced himself as Sanbu. He hadn't heard of Clan Kapsa before, but Ochra figured he may as well introduce himself in kind. "A pleasure to meet you. I'm Ochra of House 24." He normally wasn't one to speak up about his family, but what was the harm in telling this stranger? It wasn't like he knew he was a saiyan, or that his family were saiyan nobility. When he commented on his entrance, Ochra gave a small chuckle. "Well, it's better than the pod simply crashing into the earth at top speed. At least this way I'm not damaging anything on the way in." He glanced around, "Though thankfully, this time I'm not coming down in a populated area." He then turned his attention back to Sanbu, who was standing before him. "I must admit, I'm a bit curious. I haven't seen anyone like you before." He looked around the area they were standing in. "I'm guessing you were out here doing some training, or perhaps you're a hermit. Either way, I apologize if I've disturbed you in any way." Sanbu seemed pretty strong in his own right, so that showed he was either naturally that strong, or more likely, he's a fighter, like Ochra. Though what sort of fighter had yet to be determined. Sanbu

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
What did one anticipate when they woke up and faced the morning sun? Stood there any mysteries for one to find or any dreams to actually seize? Everyday was hard to predict and though he could try and make assumptions inevitably things were but just a gamble. Certainty had long become an idea that Sanbu occasionally clung to for ease of mind than as an actual pillar of truth. Some matters had lost their luster to him and in its place lay a world fashioned in a myriad of grays. The vividness was lost as the colors around him appeared to dull underneath the canopy of truth. Without anything to filter or manipulate the way he saw a most unusual feeling begun to rise over his person.
The truth was either what he made for his own sake or something that was dependent not on his own senses but of a medium far superior. If it were the latter such an objective reality was just not accessible to him and if the former were true, well... There stood another problem entirely to confront, one he had not the resources to tackle just yet if ever. It was always so hard to tell with these affairs. Above all other things however this unique encounter aided the Majin in better understanding the relationship between certain concepts. Sanbu lightly smiled at the Saiyan, eyeing the man curiously as he thought of what one ought to say.
"Pleasure it is, yes." The Majin could not help but laugh after hearing Ochra make his remark concerning the pod landing. It was a straightforward answer but one that reasonably satisfied the question. One did not need to complicate things that were just so simple. "Ah, right. Fair enough I suppose, space-travel is not something I do all that often. And you're right about that, I have heard stories of unsightly landings in densely populated areas. There's got to be a better way."
An eyebrow naturally arose as he heard the Saiyan point out something which he had not the words for. Just what was someone supposed to be like? Were they meant to be common or otherwise? Sanbu let the thought subside as things stood currently. People of all classes, creeds and descriptions further were each unique and strange in some sore definition of the word. The question had a capable merit, people of his method were not especially common tho the world. Or perhaps the figure had meant something else entirely here the Majin fell blind to this chink, letting his biases run down his spine with a crippling chill.
"Anyone like me? Well, there's a first time for many things so I hope that this is a welcome chance to familiarize yourself with people of my sort. I believe we are nothing without curiosity." Sanbu shrugged his shoulders, his demeanor could not be anymore composed if he tried. His face was not tired but merely so still and tranquil that if he did not put more effort in his expression he nearly looked like a statue. "I am a little bit of both in truth, one who trains and one who might be considered a hermit. The idea of staying in one place just seems a little strange to me, change is always welcome I believe. ...What do you think of change? You seem like one who has had eyes for many things far or near."

Well, it seemed like Ochra was right on both counts. A hermit, and a martial artist. Nothing much more than that that Ochra could really pick up on the man. Though now, he changed the topic back towards him. Asking about his view on change. In that regard, Ochra's thought on it was a mixed bag. "Change always happens, though whether it's a good thing or not depends on the type of change," Ochra said, turning his eyes upward. Things had changed drastically over the last couple of years. The peace of the Saiyan Kingdom, destroyed by the World Trade Fleet. the destruction of the Fleet, only now to open the doors for other evils to come into this galaxy. Much stronger evils than before. "Whether change is welcome or not, well, in the end it doesn't matter, now does it? What matters, is how one deals with that change. How it effects them. Sometimes you can grow stronger from it, other times, well, it can completely destroy a life." Ochra let out a small sigh. And sometimes, it can just really complicate things beyond reasoning. His eyes fell back onto the strange red man in front of him. "But enough about that. I guess the first thing I should work out is a place for myself to stay. I've been gone from my work for far too long, and it's time I got back to it. If you can point me to the nearest settlement, that would be appreciated." Sure, he could use his ki sense, but he figured he may as well find some way to wrap up this conversation. Sanbu

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
Things were still much too fresh in Sanbu's head for him to have any strong feelings about the situation just yet. What was this individual about, and furthermore just who was this individual? He knew not what drove this man to motion and he assumed that he may never get such a conclusive response. Opportunities so rarely ever just fell on one's lap anyways. Death would find him eventually however, youth still seemed close to him at this moment so for now he came not with too rash of a personality. Unlike other occasions he felt the distance of its necessity. There were many more relevant thoughts to be had right now and so he went along with the flow of his random rumination. <One ought not go into their mind with unplanned questions, that's just asking for trouble. This is the here and now, I ought remain in this place and just enjoy it for what it is.> The Majin yawned aloud, rolling his head around on its axis before fixating his glance on the Saiyan once more. He did not want to let this end or perhaps continue so sorely especially given the unique manner in which he had met this person. "I would have to agree with that. I think we as the apparent observers seek to attribute some kind of meaning to this feature of our lives as if we had a say in them at all." Sanbu lacked any such context for what the man was either thinking or feeling but he could not help but imagine that this individual spoke not from the mind alone but from his heart equally. Memories often added more insight on these particular matters especially when solely intellect could not provide one with reasonably concrete answers. Sanbu smiled briefly, his consciousness drifted away as it wandered into places fairly far away from his immediate attention, they were somewhere buried deep inside his psyche. In this Saiyan's eyes he saw something he sought to capture more firmly.
"Oh definitely, it really does not matter at all. From any and every angle, I do not believe that there is some semblance of gravity that one can extract from this notion. As long as people can continue this conversation however, I think we can always remember to lose our ego in this respect. I fear we get too prideful about what it means to be a constant participate of this unending motion. A lot of bad it's done in the world of today it seems. I don't think we should make too much of a fuss about something that is and always will be."
Short were his words but Sanbu hoped that they left enough of a mark on the man's person if only for a little while. To leave a slight impression if only minimally, suffice enough to state that he had done something temporarily would make him content for the day. Nothing knew true permanence nor was there really truth at all. The rigidity of such concepts were merely grounded on the confidence people gave to them anyways. "A place for you to stay? Settlement?" The Majin had traveled through many lands but scarcely did he ever explicitly visit settlements, it took a moment for him to recall of any civilization with sentient and rational beings.
He walked with no compass nor map in particular, his only sense of direction was spatial memory and so his mind thought very carefully. Finally Sanbu came up with a point, directing a finger towards a coordinate behind him. The land was extensive and even if one scanned the horizon thoroughly they would not be able to make a settlement with the naked eye.
"A settlement exists beyond where I'm pointing. It's a small town however if my mind serves me correctly. It should prove useful to you I imagine, they're one of the only towns for what seems to stretch on for quite a while. Though I am curious and forgive me if I appear to be too forward here although I would like to know. What work is it that you do? I am not one for specific tasks myself but I do have admiration for those who do pursue one and make something out of it"

It seemed to take the strange being a while to pinpoint where a settlement might be. Yep, definitely a hermit, if he was actively avoiding civilization like this. Still, he pointed towards a small town, and Ochra's senses confirmed it. It would be a good place to start, and if not, then Ochra can always travel around. It wasn't like it would take him a while to travel around the planet. Ah, the perks of being able to travel at high speed. "Thank you." Ochra replied, turning to get ready to leave, when Sanbu's question caused him to pause. What did he do?
He glanced back at Sanbu. "I'm a bounty hunter. I hunt down the criminals that the authorities can't handle themselves." Or more specifically, hunting down criminals that the authorities didn't want to dirty their hands with. Sometimes you required someone that worked outside the rules. Not that Ochra didn't have his own standards. But not having to abide by rules and regulations certainly made his job easy for him. He looked at the strange red man before him. "Anything else?" he asked.

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
While much still lingered in Sanbu's head he began to wonder if there were was really a necessity to reveal his mental park to someone who did not appear willing to play in it. They were thoughts and occasionally that's all they would be, the Majin needed to accept such. A yearning desire burned brightly in his heart but it stayed within its natural confines. The kettle was burning but it did not scream, he had at least this much self-restraint by a Majin's compare. "Pay it no mind, I think you'd be able to sense their presence even without my instruction. This place can get quiet, lively but all too silent if you don't listen properly. Admittedly, when you've got nothing to hear around here your ears get quite good at picking up most things." The Majin's head flickered with intrigue as he started to hear more be uttered from the Saiyan's person. A bounty hunter? He had met a literal assassin but in comparison this was a job he could actually understand and respect. A hit-man did their business whether or not an individual deserved it. When it came to matters of murder or activities grimmer there was a kind of understanding between criminal and vigilante. They each took up their role and played their part well but when someone actively pursued the death of one who did not participate in the games of combat and crime, well.. Sanbu had no love for such a thing unless it was necessary. "Noble job that is, quite. Well, I wish I could say I was up to anything but that's really not alike my person. Perchance not right now." Sanbu shrugged his shoulders, his smile was quaint and his mannerisms even more so. It was obvious that there probably was not more to be said given the person's speech. <One does not draw from a dry well when there are other ones to be dug. These things come and go, I should move along too.> The man briefly yawned again before taking proper notice of the Saiyan. "Nothing, no. I suppose there's nothing more to be said here." The Majin turned away from the Saiyan, sitting down as he started to assume a stance that suggested some kind of meditation. Matters seemed finished and he would not pry further.
